Survivors include two sons, Walter Walker and Cilup Andrew Walker, both Green Bay; one daughter, Brittney Rose Walker, Chicago; two grandchildren; her mother, Claudine Williams, Chicago; one sister, Veronda Gordon-Williams, Chicago; one brother, Casterdeer Addison, Chicago.

BOESEN, Mrs. Arvilla E. , 84, Green Bay, died Tuesday, July 16, 2002. She was born June 14, 1918, in Seven Mile Creek, Juneau County, Arvilla was the daughter of the late Arthur and Theresa (Hurley) Kranz.

Arvilla was a wonderful cook, working at the McCormick Home and the YMCA. She made the best Christmas cookies and pies. She thoroughly enjoyed the cottage "up north" on Deer Lake.

She is survived by 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Teri and Ikuo Ito, Allen, Texas, Rita and Rex Marx, Allouez, Mary and Bob Brownell, Richfield; 12 grandchildren and their spouses, Scott and Fiona Ito, Plano, Texas, Paul and Jane Ito, Richardson, Texas, Dr. Tammy and Marty Eckart, Scottsdale, Ariz., Susan Marx, Louisville, Ky., Brian Marx, Green Bay, Kim and Bill Zellner, Green Bay, Janet and Mark Jepson, Green Bay, Beth Buckmaster and her fiancé, Bob Eifler, Green Bay, Brian and Mary Thomson, De Pere, Eric and Debbie Thomson, Pulaski, Kim Thomson, DePere; 17 great-grandchildren, Grace, Emma, McNeil, Samantha, Trever, Emily, Kendra, Austin, Drew, Libby, Jonah, Grace, Tyler, Trevor, Tressa, Kariya and Mia.

Mrs. Boesen was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, in 1968; a daughter, Nancy Thomson, in 1977; a grandson, Patrick Marx, in 1987; a sister, Letiticia McCafferty, and two brothers, Keith and Lyle Kranz.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. The funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Sr. Jean VandenBoomen of St. Patrick Parish officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Wausaukee. The Boesen family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of the McCormick Home and Rennes Health Care for their loving care of Arvilla.

DAHLKE, Isabell (Mrs. Marvin W.), 84. Visitation 4-8 p.m. today at McMahon Funeral Home, 530 Main St., Luxemburg, and after 10 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Montpelier. Prayer service 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Funeral 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Survivors include her husband, Marvin W.; two daughters, Sandra (Mitchel) Pelnar, Tisch Mills, Patricia Dahlke, Green Bay; two sons, Ronald Dahlke and Allan (Rose) Dahlke, both of Green Bay; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Inngard (Wallace) Hoppe and Marion Duescher, both of Kewaunee.

PEOTTER, Claude A. 77, Shawano, formerly Seymour. Visitation 3-5 p.m. today at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 349 N. Main St., Seymour. Funeral service 5 p.m. today at the church. Survivors include his wife, Doris; two daughters, Pam (Dan) Zak, Seymour, Paula (Lee) Solberg Peotter, Waupaca; two sons, Jon (Carol) Peotter, Waupaca, Mike Peotter, Green Bay; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, 368 S. Main St., Seymour, is assisting the family.

THOMSON, Alyce L. 84, Ashwaubenon. In accordance with Alyce's wises, there will be no visitation or funeral service. She is survived by many relatives and friends. Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave., De Pere, is assisting the family.

BERSIE, Evelyn M. , 88, Green Bay. Visitation 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. Funeral 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2040 Hillside Lane.

DEVROY, Doris , 73, longtime rural Green Bay resident, died Monday, July 15, 2002, after a long illness. She was born Oct. 19, 1928, in Hurley to Frances Liebergen and the late William Liebergen. On Oct. 23, 1948, she married Merlin Devroy at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Green Bay. Doris was involved in many businesses throughout her career including real estate and retail sales.

Survivors include her husband, Merlin; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Mary Devroy, West Concord, Minn.; Richard Devroy, Belleville, Ill.; three grandchildren, Sheri, Richard Jr. and Christina; her mother, Frances Liebergen; two sisters, Patricia Atkinson, Green Bay; Norma Vande Walle, Appleton; three brothers, William Liebergen Jr., Green Bay, David Liebergen, Janesville, and James Liebergen, Green Bay.

She was preceded in death by her father; and one sister, Rosemary. Private funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., with the Rev. Gary Froseth officiating.

Doris' family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and volunteers of Unity Hospice.

LAPLANTE, Milton L. "Sparky" , 79, Green Bay. Visitation 3:30-6:30 p.m. today at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Ave. VFW memorial service 6:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Survivors include one daughter, Cheri (Dennis) Tachick, Green Bay; one brother, Milo LaPlante, Green Bay; one sister, Mary Lou Dachlet, Green Bay.

PEOTTER, 78, Shawano, formerly Seymour. Arrangements are pending; Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, 358 S. Main St., Seymour, is assisting the family.

SCHWISTER, Elsa L., 100, Black Creek. Visitation 9-11 a.m. today at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, 358 S. Main St., Seymour. Funeral service 11 a.m. today at the funeral home.

MILLER, Leroy "Lee" G., 78, Green Bay, died unexpectedly Monday morning, July 15, 2002, at a local hospital. Born on April 25, 1924, in Bay Settlement, he is the son of the late William and Mamie (Gagnon) Van Miller. Lee married the former Vivian Sprague on Dec. 18, 1943, at Saints Peter and Paul Church, and she preceded him in death on May 4, 1993. He served in the U.S. Army from March 1943 until February 1946. Lee was employed by Gauthier Construction for 43 years beginning at age 18, working many of those years as a crane operator, retiring in 1986 as a foreman. He was an active member of Odd Fellows Lodge #19. Lee was an avid golfer who enjoyed his winter home in Florida. He was always ready to give a neighbor a helping hand and would spend many hours woodworking with his special dog, Mooch, who was always at his feet. Lee will long be remembered as a loving dad and special grandpa.

He is survived by one son, Michael "Artie" Van Miller of New Franken; two granddaughters, Nicole Chriske of Chicago and Andrea Chriske of Iowa City; one son-in-law, Kenneth Chriske of Green Bay; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Lee Malone of Florida, Carl Servais of Green Bay, Ramona (Richard) Jahnke of Green Bay, Caroll (Otis) Wessley of Oneida, Patricia (Fritz) Frederick of Green Bay, Judith (Ronnie) Champshure of Mountain; many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Vivian; his daughter, Susan "Susie" Chriske; two sisters, Martha Malone and Irene Van Miller; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Donna Servais, Robert (Joyce) Sprague; two nieces, Cheryl Berken and Kathleen Fieldhack.

Visitation at MALCORE Funeral Home, University Avenue at Baird Street, Wednesday (TODAY) from 4 to 8 p.m. Parish wake service 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Visitation continues Thursday at St. Bernard Church, 2040 Hillside Lane, from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral. Funeral Thursday 2 p.m. with the Rev. David Pleier officiating. Entombment in the Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; two sons, Joseph and Nathanael; a daughter, Faith; his parents, Victor and Mary, Green Bay; two brothers, Lloyd Adams, Green Bay, and Clayton Adams, West Memphis, Ark.; two sisters, Trisha Adams-Cooper, Green Bay, and Rebekah Wied, Pulaski; other relatives, nieces and nephews.

CANN, Lorraine (Sr. Enrico, Sr. Lorraine), died Saturday July 13, 2002. Friends may call on Tuesday July 16, 2002 from 3-7 p.m. directly at Nativity Parish, 2270 South Oneida St., Green Bay. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 7:00 p.m.following visitation at the church with Father James Hablewitz officiating. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Sheboygan

DERRICKS, Donald C. 85, Green Bay. Visitation 6:30 p.m. today at McMahon Funeral Home, 530 Main St., Luxemburg. Funeral service 7 p.m. today. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Humboldt. Survivors include one brother, Raymond (Lucille) Derricks, Green Bay; one sister, Marion Lischka, Kewaunee; three sisters-in-law, Anna Derricks, Denmark, Bernice Derricks, De Pere, and Floraine Derricks, Green Bay, many nieces and nephews.

EICHMAN, Clyde Charles, 69, a lifelong resident of Green Bay, died Sunday, July 14, 2002, at his home with his wife by his side after a six-month battle with lung cancer. Clyde was born on Nov. 24, 1932, in Green Bay, Wis., to the late Fred and Hattie (Behnke) Eichman. He married Marion Erdman on Sept. 18, 1954, at Calvary Lutheran Church, Brookside, Wis. He grew up in Abrams, Wis. and attended Oconto Falls High School and graduated in 1950. He served his country during the Korean War in the United States Navy.

He worked at Fairmont Foods (now known as Kemps) as a semi driver for 37 years until his retirement in 1991. Clyde was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, and an avid Packer fan. He loved spending time with his family, playing cards, hunting and socializing with friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Marion, seven children; David (Sharon) Eichman, children Eric and Amanda, Suamico, Wis.; Diane (Randy) Wanta, Stevens Point, Wis.; Darrel Eichman, children Jennifer, Brian and Lacey, Green Bay, Wis.; Donna (Ron) Strehlow, children Samantha and Andy, Suring, Wis.; Denise (Jack) Skaletski, children Nicole and Ariel, Green Bay, Wis.; Dan (Lori) Eichman and children, Kevin, Kyle and Katie, Green Bay, Wis.; Doreen (Brian) Haskell, children Stacy and Sara, Green Bay, Wis.; one sister, Marilyn Eichman, Abrams, Wis.; mother-in-law, Helen Erdman; sister-in-law, Gloria (Bud) Hovie; brother-in-law, Gary (Glenda) Erdman; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, John Erdman.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Friends also may call at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 210 S. Oneida St., from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday. Funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev. John Poppe officiating. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery.
