Marilyn J. Iliff, 72, De Pere. Memorial service 11 a.m. Saturday at Murdoch Funeral Home, Marion, Iowa. Survivors include two sons, David Iliff, Madison, Jeffrey Iliff, Indianapolis, Ind.; two daughters, Linda Evoniuk, Elkton, Ore., Barb Korth, De Pere.

Ann R. Puzen, 82, Green Bay. Visitation 10-11 a.m. Saturday at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Frank Queoff
Frank Queoff, 93, Green Bay, died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2002, at a local nursing home. Born in Green Bay, April 1, 1909, he is the son of the late Joseph and Annie (Bielinski) Queoff. He married the former Adele Romulad on Sept. 2, 1939, at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, and she preceded him in death Jan. 31, 1991. Frank worked at Pauly Cheese for 42 years until his retirement. He loved doing his yard work and gardening.

He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Jerry Villiesse of Green Bay; one son, Francis Queoff of Green Bay; four grandchildren, Noel (Scott) Hansel, Jenna Villiesse, Heather (Kirk) Drossart, Scott Queoff and special friend Allyson Le Febvre; one sister, Eva Weys of Green Bay; one niece, Sherry (Don) Pecha of Green Bay. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Visitation at MALCORE Funeral Home, University Avenue at Baird Street, Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral. Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Monday at Ss. Peter and Paul Church with the Rev. Thomas Farrell officiating. Entombment at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Green Bay Oncology, most of all Dr. Thomas Saphner; and the staffs of Bornemann Nursing Home and Unity Hospice, especially Paula.

Ralph M. Taylor Sr. "Squirrel," 80, Green Bay. Visitation 9-10:30 a.m. today at St. Willebrord Catholic Church (Gathering Space), 209 S. Adams St. Funeral 10:30 a.m. today at the church. Survivors include five children, Rita Taylor (Bob Meyer), Kaukauna, Ralph "Mike Jr." (Lynn) Taylor, Kathy Taylor, Tom Taylor, Patrick Taylor, all of Green Bay; two sisters, Kathleen "Kay" Ahasay, Angie (Maurice) Murphy; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. Malcore Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St., is assisting the family.

"Tom" Patrick Hicks
"Tom" Patrick Hicks, 62, Green Bay resident, died unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2002. He was born on Dec. 24, 1939, in Milwaukee to Grace (Collister) Hicks Boyer and the late Gilbert Hicks. Tom served in the U.S. Air Force from 1958 until his discharge in 1962. He married the former Caroline (Brody) Micheaux on Feb. 2, 1985, in Green Bay. Tom was employed by the Procter & Gamble Corp. for 30 years, retiring in 1995. He was currently employed by Laidlaw as a bus driver. Tom loved spending time with his family and friends, camping at his land on Perch Lake and traveling. When he was up north, he spent time four-wheeling and pontooning around the lake. Tom also loved bowling, NASCAR and flying. He was a dedicated Packer fan.

He is survived by his wife, Caroline; and four children and their families, Steven Hicks and his fiancee' Annette "Stella" and his children Holly and Trevor, Little Suamico, Veronica Taylor and her special friend Brett and her children Veronique, Brock and Vanessa, Green Bay; Douglas Hicks and his son Alex, Green Bay, Bob and Bobbie and their children Nicholas, Ryan and Hunter, Sobieski; two step-daughters and their families, Marcia and Jay Thompson and their children Brittany and Craig; Marilee and Kevin Petasek and their children Amber, Kristi and Zachary, all of New Franken; his mother, Grace Boyer, Green Bay; and one sister, Patricia Baeb, Luxemburg; nieces, nephews and many friends. Within a day his beloved cat, Archie, also passed away and will be on Tom's lap in heaven.

Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., after 3:30 p.m. Friday. Funeral service 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. William F. Koehler officiating. The visitation will continue after the funeral service until 7 p.m.

Tom will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Tom's family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the Green Bay Fire Department Paramedics and the Pastoral Staff at St. Vincent Hospital for all their care and concern.

Katherine L. Koch
Katherine L. (Joas) Koch, 66, 1226 N. Danz Ave., died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2002, at her home. She was born December 29, 1935, in Townsend, Wis., to the late William and Katherine Joas. Katherine loved to crochet, do crafts and play games and cards. She was also an avid Packer fan.

Survivors include her husband, Leonard R. Koch; her children and their spouses, Leonard Duane and Linda Koch, Keith Koch, Cindy and Wilbert C. Rentmeester, Brian Scott and Debbie Koch, Allen Dean and Teresa Koch, Darlene and John Caudle; her grandchildren, Jessica (Rentmeester) and Jamie Vander Linden, Nathan Rentmeester, Michael Koch, Matthew Koch, Robert Koch, Chelsea Rentmeester, Alex, Melissa, Corey, Adam and Tylor Koch; her brothers and sisters and their spouses, Alice and Mark Gagnon, Billy and Carolyn Joas, Larry and Pat Joas.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Marie (Koch) Johnson; her parents; her half brother, Edward Joas; and her half sister, Geraldine Willis.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday. Friends may also call at Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum, 2770 Bay Settlement Road, from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the mausoleum with the Rev. Nathan Tuff officiating.

Ralph Taylor
Ralph Taylor, 80, Green Bay. Arrangements are pending; Malcore Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St., is assisting the family.

Sr. Arilda Marie Welles
Sr. Arilda Marie Welles, C.S.J. (Margaret Mary), 89, died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2002. She was born Feb. 10, 1913, in Green Bay to the late William and Matilda (Puttman) Welles. On March 19, 1933, she entered the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, St. Louis Province. She taught and was a librarian in elementary and secondary schools in Wisconsin, Michigan, Missouri and Illinois, including St. John's in Green Bay. She retired from St. Joseph Academy in Green Bay. Sr. Arilda had a life-long love for nature, plants and all living things. In recent years, Sister grew tomatoes and made jams for Paul's Pantry. She delighted in sharing her flowers with others and photographing nature in its various aspects.

Sr. Arilda is survived by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet; her sisters, Catherine Parker, Spokane, Wash.; Rosemary (Terrence) Patzke, Green Bay; Ruth Bierwirth, Muskota; Lillian (Jake) Shires, Bakersfield, Calif.; Mary Jean (Paul) Berceau, Wisconsin Rapids; her brother, Cyril (Rita) Welles, Green Bay; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Eleanor Wachter; and one brother, William Welles.

Friends may call at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 413 St. John St., Green Bay, from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, October 18, followed by a Mass of Resurrection at 11 a.m. Friday.

Blaney Funeral Home is assisting the family.

The Sisters of St. Joseph and her family wish to thank her many friends who showed such kindness to her as well as the staff of San Luis Manor Medical & Rehabilitation Center for their excellent and loving care.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established to benefit Paul's Pantry.
