Ross Galbreath
MAYVILLE - Ross Galbreath, 82, of 1390 Horicon St., Mayville, died on Sunday, April 15, 2001, at his home.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, April 19, at 11 a.m., at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Mayville. The Rev. Edward Blonski will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's cemetery, Mayville.

Mr. Galbreath was born on March 5, 1919, on Whidbey Island, Wash., the son of Ross and Ollie (Lepper) Galbreath. He was married on Nov. 15, 1953, to Viola Machmueller, in Seattle, Wash.

Mr. Galbreath was president of Ru-Mar Manufacturing Corp., Mayville. He was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Mayville, and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his two sisters, Lucy Wilkins, Petaluma, Calif., and Mary Jensen, Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; one brother, Robert (Elaine) Galbreath, Silverton, Ore.; one sister-in-law, Elfrieda Machmueller, Mayville; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Viola, in 1999, and one brother, Clyde.

Friends may call on Wednesday, April 18, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville, and on Thursday, April 19, from 10 a.m. until the time of service, at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Mayville.

Clifford H. Hodgson
NEOSHO - Clifford H. Hodgson, 73, of Neosho, died on Sunday, April 15, 2001, at the Beaver Dam Care Center.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 18, at 11:30 a.m., at the Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home, Juneau. The Rev. Larry Westfield will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery, Horicon.

Mr. Hodgson was born on Oct. 9, 1927, in Merrill, the son of Earl and Hazil Hodgson. He was married on Aug. 19, 1978, to Patsy J. Armstrong at St. John Lutheran Church, Juneau.

Mr. Hodgson was a retiree from Beaver Redi Mix, Juneau, where he worked for over 40 years. He was a member of Neosho's VFW Post No. 11034 and a member of St. Olaf's Lutheran Church, Rubicon.

Survivors include his wife, Patsy Hogdson, Neosho; children, Terry (Brenda) Hodgson, Beaver Dam, and Gary Hodgson, Monroe; step-children, Brenda (Mark) Panawash-Bielinski, Merton, Debra (Stan) Galbraith, and Gregory Panawash, both of Richfield, and Jennifer (Tim) Rouse, town of Brookfield; three brothers, Hilbert (Edna) Hodgson, and Clyde (Virginia) Hodgson, both of Beaver Dam, and Harvey (Betty) Hodgson, and Lee (Lilah) Hodgson, both of Merrill; 11 grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, George and Flora Coyer, who raised him after his parents died; his first wife, Mae (Pitzlin) Hodgson, and two brothers, Chester and Gene.

Friends may call on Wednesday, April 18, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home, Juneau. D. Jim Roedl Associate.

Alice L. Costello
PHOENIX, Ariz. - Alice L. (Morris) Costello, 97, died on April 6, 2001.

The funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 11, at 3:30 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier, Phoenix, Ariz.

Mrs. Costello was born on Feb. 7, 1904, in Cando, N.D.

Mrs. Costello met surgeon William H. Costello in Grand Rapids, Minn. They married and later settled in Beaver Dam, where their two children were born.

Survivors include one sister, Ruth Amelia Breneman; four granddaughters; seven grandsons;19 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William; her daughter, Patricia M. Costello; her son, Martin Costello; one grandson, William P. Costello, and eight brothers and sisters.

Friends called on Tuesday, April 10, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., at the Whitney & Murphy Arcadia Funeral Home, Phoenix, Ariz.

Inez E. Ranich
Inez E. Ranich, 85, of Beaver Dam, formerly of Fox Lake, died on Monday, April 2, 2001, at Hillside Manor, Beaver Dam.

A memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, April 19, at 2 p.m., at Annunciation Parish Catholic Church, Fox Lake. The Rev. Michael Wild will officiate. Military rites will be conducted by the Robert W. Ginther American Legion Post No. 521 of Fox Lake. A luncheon will follow in the church's fellowship hall.

Mrs. Ranich was born on Oct. 26, 1915, in Michigan, the daughter of Joseph and Jenny Michela. She was married on Nov. 21, 1947, to Dewey Ranich in Milwaukee.

Mrs. Ranich graduated from high school and furthered her education in nursing. She was employed with the city of West Allis as a registered nurse in the Public Health Department. She served her country in the U.S. Navy as a lieutenant, stationed in San Francisco, Calif. She was a member of the Fox Lake American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 521, and the Fox Lake Women's Club.

Survivors include her husband, Dewey Ranich, Beaver Dam; one sister, Joan Kline, Glendale; one brother, Bob (Josephine) Michela, Texas; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Libby and Cynthia, and one brother, Al.

The Kratz-Smedema Funeral Home, Fox Lake, is serving the family.

Elroy A. Beilke
MAYVILLE - Elroy A. Beilke 83, of 730 Meadow Lane, Mayville, died on Monday, April 16, 2001, at St. Luke's Medical Center, Milwaukee.

The funeral will be held on Friday, April 20, at 2 p.m., at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Huilsburg. The Rev. Willard A. Marquardt will officiate. Burial will be in Trinity Huilsburg cemetery.

Mr. Beilke was born on July 15, 1917, in the town of Herman, the son of Richard and Ida (Baetz) Beilke. He was married on June 1, 1940, to Florence Horst in Hartford.

Mr. Beilke farmed in the town of Herman, and was employed at the former Joan of Arc Canning Co. He was a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Huilsburg, and served as church treasurer. He was also a member of the Farm Bureau.

Survivors include his wife, Florence Beilke, Mayville; children, Joyce (Daniel) O'Keane, Colgate, Bonnie (fiance Charlie Phelps) Bradley, Atlanta, Ga., and Susan (John Benassu) Beilke, Portland, Ore.; one brother, Melvin (Vivian) Beilke, Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; two grandchildren, Erin Bradley, Atlanta, Ga., and Jason (Ali Naughton) O'Keane, Minneapolis, Minn.; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, in infancy.

Friends may call on Friday, April 20, from noon until the time of service at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Huilsburg.

Memorials may be made to Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Huilsburg.

Keegan E. Gornjak
EDEN - Keegan Elvis Gornjak, 17 months, of W3381 Highway 45, Eden, died on Saturday, April 14, 2001, at Children's Hospital, Milwaukee.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, April 19, at 7 p.m., at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Lomira. The Rev. Daniel Schmidt will officiate.

Infant Gornjak was born on Nov. 4, 1999, in Appleton, the son of Keith Gornjak and Lora Ann Percy.

Infant Gornjak was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Lomira.

Survivors include his mother, Lora Ann "Mommy" Percy, Eden; his father, Keith Gornjak, Lomira; maternal grandparents, David "Pa" and Patricia "Grammy" Percy, Eden; paternal grandparents, Perry and Vicki Gornjak, Lomira; maternal great-grandparents, Mildred Heimann, Fond du Lac, Albert Heimann, Chilton, and Virginia Percy, Fond du Lac; his aunt/godmother, Lisa "Auntie" Percy, Fond du Lac; uncles, Charlie "Uncie" Percy, and Thomas "Uncie" Percy, both of Eden, Chad (Christa Schmidt) Gornjak, Campellsport, Craig (Sarah Scheberl) Gornjak, Dundee, and uncle/godfather, Kyle Gornjak, Lomira; special cousin, Desarae Gornjak; relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather, Clarence Percy; paternal great-grandparents, Ken and Marge Larson, Fritz and Evelyn Gornjak, and Lambert "Bud" Grotenhuis.

Friends may call on Thursday, April 19, from 4 p.m. until the time of service at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Lomira. The Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville, is serving the family.

Donald J. Watson
Donald J. Watson, 77, of 140A Judson Drive, Beaver Dam, died on Tuesday, April 17, 2001, at the Beaver Dam Care Center.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, April 19, at 11 a.m., at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Beaver Dam. The Rev. Paul Lindau will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery, Beaver Dam.

Mr. Watson was born on Dec. 31, 1923, in Stanley, the son of Charles and Marie Watson.

Mr. Watson, was a retired over-the-road truck driver. He was then employed at Flynn Motors, Beaver Dam, as general manager. He enjoyed racing cars in Milwaukee.

Survivors include special friend, Dorothy Kohlman, Beaver Dam; special friend, Elmer (Sheila) Peck, Fond du Lac; relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call on Thursday, April 19, at 10 a.m., until the time of service, at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Beaver Dam.

Robert L. Lawrence
JUNEAU - Robert L. Lawrence, 64, of Juneau, formerly of Milwaukee, died on Monday, April 16, 2001, at Waupun Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, April 19, at 11 a.m., at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Chapel of Chimes, 13235 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield. Burial will be in Wisconsin Memorial Park.

Mr. Lawrence was born on Feb. 3, 1937, in Chicago, Ill., the son of Lyle and Rose (Gwost) Lawrence. He was married on Oct. 17, 1959, to Jeanette Bruskiewicz in Milwaukee.

Mr. Lawrence moved to the Milwaukee area in 1947, where he was employed with various auto body shops, and retired to the Juneau area in 1999. He enjoyed fishing, and playing sheepshead at the Juneau Community Center.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Jeanette Lawrence, Juneau; three children, Michael Lawrence, Waunakee, Kelly Ann (Richard) Arlozynski, and Scott (Maureen) Lawrence, both of Juneau; four grandchildren, Adam, Max, Sam and Caitlyn; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call on Thursday, April 19, from 10 a.m. until the time of service, at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Chapel of the Chimes, Brookfield. The Kohls Community Funeral Home, Waupun, is serving the family.

Merlin E. Weinheimer
JUNEAU - Merlin E. Weinheimer, 86, of 251 N. Fairfield Drive, Juneau, died on Wednesday, April 18, 2001, at the Beaver Dam Care Center.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, April 21, at 2 p.m., at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, Oak Grove. The Rev. Roger Grosnick will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove cemetery.

Mr. Weinheimer was born on June 8, 1914, in the town of Clyman, the son of Edward and Ella (Rolhoff) Weinheimer. He was married on June 12, 1937, to Dorothy Koch at St. John's Church, Juneau.

Mr. Weinheimer was a farmer. He lived on the family homestead until Dec. 1, 1999. He was a member of St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, Oak Grove.

Survivors include three children, Shirley (Rodger) Bobholz, Robert (Beverly A.) Weinheimer, and Martin (Beverly J.) Weinheimer, all of Juneau; one brother, Harley Weinheimer, Randolph; special friend, Irene Wendegatz; one sister-in-law, Gertrude Koch, Watertown; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; three brothers, and one sister.

Friends may call on Saturday, April 21, from 11 a.m. until the time of service, at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, Oak Grove.

Memorials may be made to the St. Peter's improvement fund.

Dorothy I. Weber
COLUMBUS - Dorothy I. Weber, 91, a resident of the Larson House, Columbus, died on Tuesday, April 17, 2001, at Larson House.

The funeral will be held on Friday, April 20, at 11 a.m., at the Jones-Jensen Funeral Home, Columbus. The Rev. Ann Friedley will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery, Beaver Dam.

Mrs. Weber was born on Sept. 14, 1909, in Beaver Dam, the daughter of Frederick and Nellie (Louden) Bird. She was married on Oct. 14, 1933, to Clarence Weber.

Mrs. Weber was a 1927 graduate of Beaver Dam High School. She was a Columbus resident since 1945 where she and her husband owned and operated Weber Hardware until 1958. She then owned and operated Weber Shoes in Columbus until her retirement. She was an active and long time member of the First Presbyterian Church, Columbus.

Survivors include her daughter, Diane Casey, Phoenix, Ariz.; one son, Dayle (Mary) Weber, Portage; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Daisy Jackson, Beaver Dam; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, in 1959; one brother, Erwin Bird, and one sister, Elda Bruder.

Friends may call on Friday, April 20, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the Jones-Jensen Funeral Home, Columbus.

Eunice L. Bradley
HUSTISFORD - Eunice L. Bradley, 82, of Hustisford, died on Wednesday, April 18, 2001, at Hartford Memorial Hospital.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 22, at 2:30 p.m., at the Shimon Funeral Home, Hartford. The Rev. Verlin Wandrey will officiate.

Mrs. Bradley was born on July 29, 1918, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Otto and Lydia Guell.

Mrs. Bradley was an elementary school music teacher.

Survivors include two sons, William Bradley, Hustisford, and Jack (Pam) Bradley, Hartford; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by one son, Bobbie, and one daughter, Barbara.

Friends may call on Sunday, April 22, from 1;30 p.m. until the time of service, at the Shimon Funeral Home, Hartford.
