Michael Yaroch
Michael Yaroch, 25, of Beaver Dam, died on Sunday, April 22, 2001, at University Hospital, Madison, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, April 26, at 11 a.m., at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Doylestown. The Rev. Donald Wiecki will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Mr. Yaroch was born on Dec. 6, 1975, in Columbus, the second of five children, of Randall and Linda (Little) Yaroch.

Mr. Yaroch was a 1993 graduate of Rio High School, where he was active in FFA and was president in his senior year. He was a 1995 graduate of MPTC. He had worked at Coca-Cola Co., Beaver Dam, and was most recently working at Village Hearth Bakery, Sun Prairie. He was a member of the Doylestown and Fall River fire departments, and a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Doylestown. He loved to hunt and fish, particularly ice fishing. He also enjoyed farming, singing Karaoke and golfing.

Survivors include this parents, Randall and Linda Yaroch, Rio; maternal grandmother, Rachel Little, Rio; one brother, Brian, at home; two sisters, Katie, at home, and Rachel (Duane) Schraufnagel, Columbus; fiancee, Tracy Coplien, Beaver Dam; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Elroy and Della Yaroch; maternal grandfather, Charles Little, and one brother, Daniel.

Friends may call on Wednesday, April 25, from 5 to 8 p.m., with a prayer service at 8 p.m., at the Vangen Funeral Home, Rio.

Paul Sawyer
BURNETT - Paul Sawyer, 77, of W6172 Main St., Burnett, died on Monday, April 23, 2001, at the Mayville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Private graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 26. The Rev. Willis Heideman will officiate. Burial will be in Burnett Central cemetery. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the John E. Miller Post No. 146, Beaver Dam.

Mr. Sawyer was born on March 2, 1924, in Mayville, the son of Joseph and Mary (Jabor) Sawyer. He was married on June 29, 1946, to Ilona Pieper in Mayville.

Mr. Sawyer was employed as a meat cutter at Uncle Paul's Meat Market, Burnett. He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Ilona Sawyer, Burnett; children, Dan (Sandy) Sawyer, Menomonee Falls, Mickey (Louise) Sawyer, and Den Sawyer, both of Burnett; one brother, Joseph (Pauline) Sawyer, Watertown; two sisters, Mary (Jim) Greshay, Florida, and Ann Probst, Chicago; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister.

Friends may call on Wednesday, April 25, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville.

Jason M. Corning
FALL RIVER - Jason M. Corning, 27, Fall River, died peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, April 22, 2001.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, April 26, at 11 a.m., at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Columbus. The Rev. Bruce Hennington will officiate. Burial will be in Fall River cemetery.

Mr. Corning was born on Nov. 20, 1973, in Killeen, Texas, the son of Roger and Patricia (Heidel) Corning. He was married on Oct. 2, 1993, to Barbara Bahr in Portage.

Mr. Corning was a 1991 graduate of Fall River High School, where he was a charter member of the SADD program. He served in the U.S. Army. He was an EMT for the village of Fall River for the past four years and assisted the city of Columbus EMT's. He studied nursing at MATC-Madison and was a member of the American Red Cross.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Corning, Fall River; two daughters, Gabrielle and Kailey, at home; parents, Roger and Patricia Corning, Fall River; one brother, Richard Corning, Fall River; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Simon, Wisconsin Dells; in-laws, Wayne and Jean Bahr, Fall River; three brothers-in-law, Michael Bahr, Fall River, Daniel (Tamra) Bahr, Columbus, and David Bahr, East Bristol; David's former wife, Karen Bahr, Fall River; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one son, Dustin, paternal grandparents, and maternal grandfather.

Friends may call on Wednesday, April 25, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Jones-Jensen Funeral Home, Columbus, and on Thursday, April 26, from 10 a.m. until the time of service, at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Columbus.

Memorials may be made to Jason's family.

Salvatore J. Cianciolo
MILWAUKEE - Salvatore J. Cianciolo, 70, of Milwaukee, was born into eternal life on Tuesday, April 24, 2001.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, April 28, at 9 a.m., at Prasser-Kleczka Bay View Chapel, 3275 S. Howell Ave, Milwaukee, with a Mass of Christian burial at 9:30 a.m., at St. Veronica Church. Burial will be in Mount Olivet cemetery.

Mr. Cianciolo was a retiree of Ameritech, a member of RMO/Communicaton Workers of America, Pioneers, and served in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Cianciolo was the beloved husband of Audrey; loving father of Mary Katherine (Gregory) Kirby, Barbara Ann (Kenneth) Hahn, and Gerald John (Louise) Cianciolo; cherished grandfather of Jason, Sarah, David, Joseph, Kathryn and Nicholas; dear brother of Michael (Florence) Cianciolo, John (Kathleen) Cianciolo, and Thomas (Jane) Cianciolo; fond cousin of Michael (Christine) Cianciolo, and Robert (Kathleen) Cianciolo; also survived by relatives and friends.

Friends may call on Friday, April 27, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Prasser-Kleczka, Bay View Chapel, Milwaukee.

Memorials may be made to Milwaukee Hospice.

David N. Koback
MESA, Ariz. - David Noel Koback, 58, of Mesa, Ariz., died on Wednesday, April 18, 2001.

A memorial service for the immediate family was held on Monday, April 23, in Mesa, Ariz.

Mr. Koback was born on Dec. 19, 1942.

Mr. Koback was a loving, giving, caring husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He had served in the U.S. Air Force for four years, was a police officer in New Berlin, and worked for the railroad industry in Milwaukee, Horicon and Fond du Lac for many years. He was a member of the Mesa Buckhorn Elks.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Susan Koback, Mesa, Ariz.; five children, Leslie (Curt) Koffke, Menasha, Jayson (Kelly) Koback, Silver Spring, Md., Dawn (Tom) Koceja, New Berlin, Amy (John) Lorona, Mesa, Ariz., and Kate Koback, Chandler, Ariz.; six grandchildren, Nathan Koffke, Menasha, Ava Koback, Silver Spring, Md., Gina and Joey Koceja, New Berlin, and Cruz and Christopher Lorona, Mesa, Ariz.; one brother, Dennis (Gail) Koback, Michigan; one sister, Terri (Michael) Deacon, Milwaukee; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Darrell and Richard Koback.

Wilfred A. Schmidt
HUSTISFORD - Wilfred A. Schmidt, 90, of Hustisford, died on Monday, April 23, 2001, at Hartford Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, April 28, at 2 p.m., at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, Hustisford. The Rev. Timothy Bauer will officiate. Burial will be in the Hustisford cemetery.

Mr. Schmidt was born on Nov. 7, 1910, in the town of Hubbard, the son of Theodore and Ida (Tippett) Schmidt. He was married on May 7, 1949, to Genevieve Zingsheim in Crown Point, Ind.

Mr. Schmidt was employed in Lannon, Wis., as a stone cutter. He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He retired from Broan Manufacturing in 1972. He was a member of Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, Hustisford.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Genevieve Schmidt, Hustisford; six children, Fern (Gordon) Skalitzky, Waterloo, Julie (Michael) Engerson, Hustisford, Joan Schmidt, Reeseville, Bruce (Cecilia) Schmidt, Hartford, Gail (James) Kunde, Oshkosh, and Mary Ellen (Brian) Bauerschmidt, Kenosha; one son-in-law, Wesley Braunschweig, Neosho; two brothers, Joseph (Theresa) Schmidt, Mayville, and Alfred (Genny) Schmidt, Fond du Lac; one sister, Elsie Geise; two sisters-in-law, Betty Schmidt, Hartford, and Bernice Schmidt, Oconomowoc; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Braunschweig, in 1990; one granddaughter, Audrey Schmidt; six brothers, and two sisters.

Friends may call on Saturday, April 28, from 11 a.m. until the time of service, at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, Hustisford.

Adeline M. Wickert
RANDOLPH - Adeline M. Wickert, 85, formerly of Fox Lake, died peacefully on Monday, April 23, 2001, at Continental Manor, Randolph.

The Litergy service will be held on Thursday, April 26, at 10 a.m., at the Annunciation Parish Catholic Church, Fox Lake. The Rev. Michael Wild will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park, Fox Lake.

Mrs. Wickert was born on Aug. 5, 1915, the daughter of Anton and Elizabeth (Schmidt) Haensgen. She was married on March 14, 1934, to Eugene Wickert in Milwaukee.

Mrs. Wickert and her husband moved to their home on Fox Lake in 1967, where they resided until 1985. She enjoyed fishing, shopping, baking and especially cherished the time spent with her family. She will be sadly missed and mourned by family and friends.

Survivors include one son, Bernie (Pat) Wickert, Germantown; three daughters, Nancy (Jim) Cox, Hustisford, Sandra (Ralph) Dykstra, and Debra (Chuck) Nowicki, both of rural Randolph; daughter-in-law, Arlette Wickert, Fox Lake; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; relatives, and her dear friends on the staff at Continental Manor, who gave unconditional loving care since her stay in 1995.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eugene, in 1985; one son, Ronald, in 1998; one daughter, Jannice, in infancy; one granddaughter, Kim Paredes Dykstra; two great-grandchildren, and one brother.

Friends may call on Thursday, April 26, from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the Annunciation Parish Catholic Church, Fox Lake.

The Kratz-Smedema Funeral Home, Fox Lake, is serving the family.

Gertrude A. Zimmermann
Gertrude A. Zimmermann, 92, of 410 Roedl Court, Beaver Dam, formerly of 408 Beaver St., died on Thursday, April 26, 2001, at the Beaver Dam Care Center.

The funeral will be held on Sunday, April 29, at 2 p.m., at St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam. The Rev. David Bode will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery.

Mrs. Zimmermann was born on Jan. 10, 1909, in Southridge, the daughter of Herman and Minnie (Zimmermann) Zimmermann.

Mrs. Zimmermann was a RN supervisor of the obstetrics department at the Beaver Dam Community Hospital. She was also employed at the old Lutheran Hospital, Beaver Dam, for over 30 years. She was a faithful member of St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam.

Survivors include one sister, Winifred Bohlmann, Milwaukee; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister.

Friends may call on Sunday, April 29, from 1 p.m. until the time of service, at St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam.

Edith Faust
MAYVILLE - Edith Faust, of 204 Horicon St., Mayville, died on Friday, April 27, 2001, at Hospice of Metro Denver, Aurora, Colo.

The funeral is pending with the Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville.

Agnes Van Buren
WAUPUN - Agnes "Aggie" Van Buren, 74, of Waupun, died on Thursday, April 26, 2001, at the Christian Home, Waupun, where she had been a resident for the past year.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, April 28, at 10:30 a.m., at Emmanuel Reformed Church, Waupun. The Rev. Rich Bawinkel will officiate. Burial will be in Alto cemetery.

Mrs. Van Buren was born on Jan. 10, 1927, in Waupun, the daughter of Cornelius and Hattie (Loomans) Visser. She was married on Feb. 18, 1948, to Glenn Van Buren in Waupun.

Mrs. Van Buren was a 1945 graduate of Waupun High School. She and her husband lived in Waupun all their married life. She nurtured their sons through their early years, then became employed by the Christian Home in Waupun, in food service for 19 years. She was a member of Emmanuel Reformed Church, Waupun, where she was active in its music programs, Sunday school and Ladies Guild. In her retirement years she volunteered her services to Marsh Haven Nature Center and Meals on Wheels.

Survivors include her husband, Glenn Van Buren, Waupun; two sons, Rev. Michael (Noreen) Van Buren, West Olive, Mich., and Scott (Deb) Van Buren, Waupun; four grandchildren, Carlia (Jamison) Schippers, and Bradley, Kirk and Nicole Van Buren; two brothers, Arnold (Grace) Visser, and Roland (Sylvia) Visser, both of Waupun; two sisters-in-law, Marie Visser, and Bernice Visser, both of Waupun; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers, Clifford, John, and Harold Visser.

Friends may call on Friday, April 27, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home, Waupun, and on Saturday, April 28, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service, at the Emmanuel Reformed Church, Waupun.

Clifford R. Dykstra

FRIESLAND - Clifford R. Dykstra, 84, of Friesland, went home to be with his Savior on Friday, April 27, 2001, at the Continental Manor, Randolph.
The funeral will be held on Monday, April 30, at 11 a.m., from the Friesland Reformed Church, Friesland. The Rev. Ronald Vander Werff will officiate. Burial will follow in the Friesland cemetery.

Mr. Dykstra was born in Friesland on April 30, 1916, the son of William and Gertrude (Cupery) Dykstra. He was married to Cordula Treptow on Sept. 12, 1940, at the Friesland Reformed Church, Friesland.

Mr. Dykstra received his education through the Friesland School and became engaged in farming. He then became an electrician and opened his own business known as Cliff's Electric. Years later he operated a farm equipment business where he worked up to six months ago, when ill health would no longer let him. He served the village of Friesland as trustee from 1959-1963, was village president from 1963-1982, and was treasurer for the town of Randolph for many years. He served on the Columbia County Board, was chairman of Columbia County Republican Party and was active with the Columbia County Right to Life. He was a past member of Friesland Reformed Church where he served as an elder and deacon and was instrumental in the fund raising and construction of the church shelter. In his free time, he enjoyed working in his gardens, birdwatching and he will always be know as "the man with a servant's heart."

He will be sadly missed and mourned by his wife of 60 years, Cordula, Friesland; six children, Dennis (Louise) Dykstra, Larry (Marcia) Dykstra, both of Friesland, Joyce (Dallas) Stratman, Caledonia, Mich., Stanley (Patricia) Dykstra, Williamsburg, Va., Terry (Diane) Dykstra, Friesland, and Pam (Gary) Hagarty, Troy, Ill.; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy DeYoung, Friesland; sister-in-law, Kathryn Treptow; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ed (Rose) Horton, and Bill (Sally) Treptow; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandchild; one brother, Willard Dykstra; three sisters, Edna Katsma, Martha Smits, and Sarah Pautzke.

Friends may call on Sunday, April 29, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Kratz-Smedema Funeral Home, Cambria, and on Monday, April 30, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

Irene E. Klentz
Irene E. Klentz, 87, formerly of Reeseville, died on Saturday, April 28, 2001, at the Beaver Dam Care Center.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, May 3, at 1:30 p.m., at the Murray Community Funeral Home, Reeseville. The Rev. Donald Steinberg will officiate. Burial will be in Reeseville cemetery.

Ms. Klentz was born on Dec. 10, 1913, in Illinois, the daughter of August and Anna (Borchardt) Klentz.

Ms. Klentz was a graduate of Reeseville High School. She worked at the canning factory and at Weyenberg Shoe's for 24 years. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Reeseville. She loved to garden, taking special care with her African violets.

Survivors include cousins, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and several aunts and uncles.

Friends may call on Thursday, May 3, from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service at the Murray Community Funeral Home, Reeseville.

Memorials may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church roof fund.
