DONALD S. REYNOLDS

REYNOLDS, DONALD S. of Waukesha passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2002 at Linden Grove Nursing Home at the age of 82 years. He was born on July 24, 1919 in Waukesha, the son of Lyle and Hazel (nee Jones) Reynolds.

He is preceded in death by his wives, Vera (nee Krueger), in November 1960, and Lucile (nee Gerth) in July 1995, and by his grandsons, Steven Knoebel and Scott Knoebel.

He is survived by his daughter Gail (Roger) Bensing of Waukesha, his granddaughter Sheryl (Randy) Young of Watertown, and his great-grandchildren Troy and Jakab Young. Also survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation Wednesday, May 29, 2002 from noon – 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Hustisford, 128 E. Anthony Street. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at church. Interment Oak Hill cemetery, Horicon. Memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association appreciated.

RUSSELL H. DRUECKE

Russell H. Druecke passed away Saturday, December 29, 2001 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam at the age of 81 years. He was born March 3, 1920 in the Town of Oak Grove, the son of Rudolph and Adela (Sell) Druecke. He married Ruth Pasewald in Beaver Dam May 5, 1951. Russell served his country in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a member of Dodge County Auxiliary Police Force and Riot Squad. In 1971, he was appointed Dodge County Supervisor for District 14. He served on the Public Health and Special Hospital Building Committees. He was employed as mill manager of River Valley Co-op in Watertown for 23 years. He was a member of St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Oak Grove since 1947, and served as elder and treasurer. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting, reading, and crafts.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Edna Lepien and Ada Loos, and one brother, Leroy. He is survived by his wife Ruth, of Oak Grove, and his son Scott of Oak Grove, his granddaughter Carla Eddy, and two great-grandchildren; his sister, Doris Schumacher, his brother-in-law William Pasewald, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Visitation is Monday, December 31 at St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Oak Grove from 12:30 p.m. – 2 p.m. Funeral services are to follow at 2 p.m. Rev. Roger Grosnick will officiate. Interment Oak Grove cemetery. Memorials to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. The Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home is serving the family.

GERALD E. KIMBALL

Gerald E. Kimball of Hustisford passed away Thursday November 28, 2002 at the age of 67 years at Clearview Nursing Home in Juneau, WI. He was born February 2, 1935 in Sioux Falls, SD, the son of Harold and Inga (nee Forseth) Kimball. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Katherine (nee Nelson) of Hustisford his children, Dan (Angie) Kimball of Port Washington, Randy Kimball of CA, Bonny Kimball of Madison, Jerry Kimball of SD, Carola (Don) Jackson of SD, his grandchildren Melinda, Jennifer, Savannah and Aubrey, his sister Dawn (Jim) Moerke of SD. Also surviving are other relatives and friends.

Memorial service Monday December 2, at 2:30pm at the funeral home. Family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home from 1pm until time of service. Interment of his cremated remains at Hustisford cemetery following the service.

The Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home is serving the family.

Dorothy H. Boltz
WATERTOWN - Dorothy H. Boltz, 80, of Watertown, died on Thursday, Aug. 30, 2001, in the comfort of her Watertown home in the care of her four children, family members and the help of Rainbow Hospice.

The funeral will be held on Monday, Sept. 3, at 2 p.m., at St. John's Lutheran Church, Golden Lake. The Rev. John A. Schmidt will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran cemetery, Golden Lake.

Mrs. Boltz was born on March 5, 1921, in the town of Farmington, the daughter of Louis and Josephine (Britzman) Borchardt. She was married to Richard Boltz on June 3, 1939, on the Borchardt homestead.

Mrs. Boltz attended St. Peter's Lutheran School, Helenville. She grew up in the Helenville area. She and her husband, Richard, lived in the Sullivan area from 1939 to 1966. They then moved to "The Ponds" off of the lower Hebron Road near Hebron. She and her husband owned and operated Boltz's Farm Drainage. In 1989 she moved to Watertown. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Golden Lake, and its Ladies Aid; Wenzel-Longley No. 349 of the American Legion Auxiliary, and Concord/Sullivan Senior Citizens. She was a member and past officer of TOPS/KOPS and had been a volunteer at Bethesda Lutheran Home. She was an avid stamp collector for her grandchildren, enjoyed card playing, bowling and baking for her family and friends.

Survivors include three daughters, Judith (Wayne) Baumann, Waterloo, Beverly (Larry) Kramer, Sullivan, and Shirley (Allan) Kohls, Reeseville; one son, Eugene (Dianne), Jefferson; two brothers, Ralph (Arlene) Borchardt, and Leroy (Alice) Borchardt, both of Helenville; one brother-in-law, Wilmer (Dolly) Boltz, Sullivan; 11 grandchildren, Ritchie Baumann, Theresa (Pete) Schuster, Cindy (Thomas) Larson, John Kramer, Tanya Kramer, Ricki Kramer, Scott Boltz, Brandon Boltz, Jared Boltz, Katrina Kohls, and Janelle Kohls; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, on Aug. 28, 1983; her parents, and one sister-in-law, Jean Borchardt.

Friends may call on Sunday, Sept. 2, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Hafemeister Funeral Home, Watertown, and on Monday, Sept. 4, from 1 p.m. until the time of the service, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Golden Lake.

Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, Golden Lake; Rainbow Hospice of Jefferson, and Lakeside Lutheran High School, Lake Mills.
The family requests that no real flowers be given due to family allergies.

Marguerite O. Frisch
Marguerite O. Frisch, 88, of Beaver Dam, died on Friday, Aug. 31, 2001, at Hillside Manor, Beaver Dam.

The funeral will be held today at 3:30 p.m., at Murray Community Funeral Home, Beaver Dam. The Rev. Paul Lindau will officiate. Burial will be in Park Lawn cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.

Mrs. Frisch was born on May 22, 1913, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., the daughter of Henry and Rosa (Owens) Wilburn. She was married on Jan. 19, 1936, to Fred Krauss. She was later married on June 5, 1965, to Arthur Frisch.

Mrs. Frisch and her first husband, Fred, owned and operated Krauss Furniture and Appliance in St. Louis, Mo., for more than 30 years. She and her second husband, Arthur, spent their retirement years in Mountain Home, Ark., before moving to Beaver Dam in 1990.

Survivors include one son, Rodney (Cynthia) Krauss, St. Louis, Mo.; one niece, Sondra Jackson, Union, Mo.; one nephew, Donald Sharp, California; relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Fred Krauss, on Feb. 2, 1963; her second husband, Arthur Frisch, on April 13, 1997, and six sisters.

Mildred E. Wieneke
MORRISON, Ill. - Mildred E. "Millie" Wieneke, 85, of 610 Portland Ave., Morrison, Ill., died on Sunday, Sept. 2, 2001, at her home.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, Sept. 6, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Morrison, Ill. The Rev. Leo Bartel will officiate. Burial will be in Grove Hill cemetery, Morrison, Ill.

Mrs. Wieneke was born on July 12, 1916, in Cascade, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth (Dunkel) Moorman. She was married on Jan. 31, 1939, to Joseph E. Wieneke in Cascade, Iowa.

Mrs. Wieneke was employed as a private duty housekeeper for many Morrison residents. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Morrison, Ill. Her primary focus was her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include one daughter, Joyce (Ron) Hogue, Morrison, Ill.; five sons, Robert (Diane) Wieneke, Brownsville, Alan (Carol) Wieneke, Mount Morris, Ill., Richard (Andrea) Wieneke, Morrison, Ill., Gary (Fran) Wieneke, Sheboygan, and Terry (LuAnn) Wieneke, Morrison, Ill.; 12 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and numerous friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, on March 20, 1965; eight sisters, Mary Manternach, Ella Kurt, Clara Moorman, Laura Rollinger, Frances Koppes, Dorothy Brackemeyer, Lorraine Porter, Rose Moorman, and one brother, Joe Moorman.

Friends may call on Wednesday, Sept. 5, from 4 to 8 p.m., with a scripture service to be held, at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home, 404 Lincolnway East, Morrison, Ill.

Memorials may be made to masses and a memorial established by the family.

Leona A. Marquardt
RANDOLPH - Leona A. Marquardt, 95, formerly of 215 Park Drive, Randolph, died on Monday, Sept. 3, 2001, at Continental Manor, Randolph.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, Sept. 6, at 11 a.m. at Randolph United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jason Dickerson will officiate. Burial will be in Randolph cemetery.

Mrs. Marquardt was born on Oct. 25, 1905, in Courtland township, the daughter of August and Otilla (Radel) Wagner. She was married to Edward "Doc" Marquardt.

Mrs. Marquardt attended Rust School in Courtland township and was a member of Randolph United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, other kinds of needlework and crossword puzzles. For the past five and one-half years she resided at the Barrett House, Fox Lake, before she moved to Continental Manor Nursing Home, Randolph.

Survivors include one sister-in-law, Ruth Wagner, Randolph; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Edward "Doc" Marquardt, on April 17, 1975; four sisters, Dora Hughes, Clara Orcutt, Mabel Wagner, and one in infancy, and three brothers, Edward, Albert, and Elmer Wagner.

Friends may call on Thursday, Sept. 6, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at Randolph United Methodist Church.

The Randolph Community Funeral Home is serving the family.

Russell A. Farr
COLUMBUS - Russell A. "Tussy" Farr, 79, of Highway TT, Columbus, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2001, at his home.

The funeral will be held on Friday, Sept. 7, at 11 a.m., at Columbus United Methodist Church. The Rev. John Hobbins will officiate. Burial will be in Okeeg cemetery, Danville.

Mr. Farr was born on May 4, 1922, in the town of Elba, the son of Clarence and Alma (Behnke) Farr. He was married on April 12, 1958, to Shirley Bradt in Columbus.

Mr. Farr was a lifelong town of Elba resident and 35 year dairy farmer, living his entire life within a mile of his birthplace. He was most recently the town of Elba chairman, was park ranger at Dodge County Park, Astico, and a former town supervisor. He was a sales representative for 19 years serving 18 years with Vita-Plus. He was a member and past president of Columbus Kiwanis, a member of Columbus United Methodist Church, and past lay leader. He was a caring and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed spending his spare time pitching horseshoes.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Farr, rural Columbus; one daughter, Tammy (Ken) Lind, Beaver Dam; two sons, Tom (special friend Peggy) Farr, Columbus, and Tim (Jean) Farr, Beaver Dam; four grandchildren, Matt and Erin Lind, Beaver Dam, and Brandon and Ally Farr, Columbus; two step-grandchildren, Bridget and Tyler Schmitt; one step-great grandson, Mikal Schmitt; one sister, Cecil Wolf, Randolph; one niece; relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one nephew.

Friends may call on Thursday, Sept. 6, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Jones-Jensen Funeral Home, Columbus, and on Friday, Sept. 7, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at Columbus United Methodist Church.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Columbus United Methodist Church, or the charity of one's choice.

Arnold Draheim
WAUTOMA - Arnold Draheim, 73, of Wautoma, died on Friday, Aug. 31, 2001, at Silver Lake Haven, Wautoma.

A private family service was held on Tuesday, Sept. 4, at the Wachholz Family Funeral Home, Ripon. Cremation followed with burial in the Brandon cemetery.

Mr. Draheim was born on March 30, 1928, in Watertown, the son of Ernest and Verna (Maas) Draheim. He was married in 1974 to Ruth E. Smith Buteyn in Brandon.

Mr. Draheim was a 1946 graduate of Juneau High School and the Madison School of Business. He worked for the city of Juneau as a bookkeeper, later driving a semi-truck for a number of years. After his marriage he and Ruth lived in Brandon. He was hired as a maintenance supervisor at the Riverdale Manor Nursing Home, Markesan. In 1982, he and his wife accepted a managers position at the Russell Manor, Ripon, where they worked until their retirement in 1993. They then settled in Wautoma to do what he loved doing, growing roses, fishing, hunting, and spending winters in Arizona. Although his health did not allow him to do these things for very long. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Wautoma.

Survivors include his loving wife of 26 years, Ruth Draheim, Wautoma; his mother, Verna Draheim, Beaver Dam; one son, David (Donna) Draheim, Beaver Dam; one daughter, Debra (special friend Steve) Matuszeski, Monroe; four grandsons , Douglas, Timothy, Jesse, and Aaron; Ruth's daughters, Judy Vande Zande and Barbara Henderson; three additional grandchildren; one great-grandson; two brothers, Daniel (Joan) Draheim, Mesa, Ariz., and James (Nola) Draheim, Juneau; two nieces; two nephews; relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Draheim.

Friends called on Monday, Sept. 3, from 3 to 5 p.m., at the Wachholz Family Funeral Home, Ripon.

A memorial has been established.

Clara Scheonfeld-Roll
KINGMAN, Ariz. - Clara Schoenfeld-Roll of 2240 Robinson St., Kingman Ariz., died on Monday, Sept. 3, 2001 at Kingman Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Schoenfeld-Roll was born Dec. 10, 1925, and married to Ralph Schoenfeld in California, on April 21, 1946. They operated White Top Cab Co. in Beaver Dam. They moved to Waupun where she was a secretary for National Rivet Co. for 31 years and retired in 1988. She moved to Kingman, Ariz., in December 2000.

She is survived by one son, David Schoenfeld, Las Vegas, Nev.; one daughter, Dianne Roberts (Butch), Kingman, Ariz.; one sister, Jessica Erickson, Kingman, Ariz.; one grandson, Brian Roberts (Eileen), Santa Clarita, Calif; one great-grandson, Roman Roberts; nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Schoenfeld, in 1971, and one infant son.

Talke H. Krause
Talke H. "Sue" Krause, 91, of Beaver Dam, entered her eternal home on Sunday, Sept. 2, 2001, very peacefully in the presence of her family at Hillside Manor, Beaver Dam.

A celebration of her life was held on Thursday, Sept. 6, at 11 a.m., at Good Shepherd Ev. Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam. The Rev. Kurtis Mau officiated. Burial was in Oakhill cemetery, Horicon.

Mrs. Krause was born on April 18, 1910, in Danforth, Ill., the daughter of John and Helena (Borchers) Renken. She was married on May 6, 1938, to Lewis N. Simon in LaRose, Ill. She was later married on June 6, 1959, to Harold Krause.

Mrs. Krause was baptized in Thauville, Ill., and confirmed in Champaign, Ill., on March 23, 1923. She attended grade schools in various locations in northern Illinois. She was accepted for nurses training at Beaver Dam Lutheran Deaconess Hospital and graduated on April 8, 1934 as a Deaconess nurse. She was then called to Northwestern College in Watertown for a period of four months. After that she was called to the Lutheran Orphanage at Addison, Ill., and worked there for three and one-half years. After her marriage to Lewis, the couple moved to a small place outside of Horicon and started a floral business. Later they moved to Oak Grove and started another floral business called LeLani Gardens. In 1955, Lewis died and Talke and her children moved to Beaver Dam where she met and later married Harold. After marriage, the couple moved to a farm outside of Leipsig and lived there until Harold's death. She then sold the farm and moved back to Beaver Dam.

Mrs. Krause worked as a nurse at many places around the Beaver Dam area, including the Lutheran Hospital in the obstetric department, office nurse for Dr. Tom Knowlton, nurse at Dodge County Mental Health, nurse at Green Giant and she was also a florist at Wodill Florist. She enjoyed caring for elderly relatives and friends in poor health. She was involved in many church activities. She was the first president of the Good Shepherd Ladies Guild. She also worked with Rev. Roth to organize the group and plan its involvement with the Lutheran Women's Missionary Society. She sang in the church choir and was a greeter before church services. She enjoyed ceramics, sewing, bowling, crocheting, and volunteering at church, the hospital, the care center and at Lakeview. While living at Hillside Manor she was involved in many activities such as playing bingo and cards, Resident Council, crafts, reading, and baking. A special gift that she was able to give her family was that she was a self taught florist and she made the wedding flowers for all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were married . She was amazing and always had been there for her family. She instilled good values in her family by her Christian examples.

Survivors include three children, John L.F. Simon, Rio; LeLani H. (Gerald) Franke, and Laurel M. (John) Tadych, both of Beaver Dam; one brother; 11 grandchildren; one AFS granddaughter from Italy; 17 great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son in infancy; both husbands, Lewis, in 1955, and Harold on Dec. 26, 1966; two sisters, and two brothers.

Friends called on Wednesday, Sept. 5, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Beaver Dam, and on Thursday, Sept 6, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the Good Shepherd Ev. Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam.

Memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Ev. Lutheran Church, Hillside Manor, or the Alano Club.
