Joanne L. Voss
Joanne L. Voss, 64, of N7635 Beaver Bay Road, Beaver Dam, died on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2001, after a courageous battle with cancer, at Beaver Dam Community Hospital.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 3, at 1 p.m., at St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam. (The funeral has been changed from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.). The Rev. Mark Lindner will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery, Beaver Dam.

Mrs. Voss was born on Sept. 16, 1937, in the town of Oak Grove, the daughter of Alex and Lydia (Zastrow) Rupnow. She was married on July 17, 1965, to Donald Voss at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Oak Grove.

Mrs. Voss was employed at Johnson Control, Watertown, area canning factories and most recently at Wisconsin Fulfillment Inc., Beaver Dam. She was a member of St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam. She loved swimming at the YMCA.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Voss, Beaver Dam; one daughter, Jane Voss, Beaver Dam; one sister, Rosalyn Zank, Juneau; aunts; one uncle; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; mother-in-law; father-in-law, and four brothers-in-law.

Friends may call on Tuesday, Oct. 2, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Beaver Dam, and on Wednesday, Oct. 3, from noon until the time of service, at St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam.

Cleo I. Thompson
GREEN VALLEY, Ill. - Cleo I. Thompson, 75, of Green Valley, Ill., and a former Mendota, Ill., resident, died on Monday, Sept. 30, 2002, at Hopedale Medical Complex, Hopedale, Ill.,

The funeral will be held on Thursday, Oct. 3, at 11 a.m., at Merritt Funeral Home, 800 Monroe St., Mendota, Ill. The Rev. Frances Olson will officiate. Burial will be in Restland cemetery, Mendota, Ill.

Mrs. Thompson was born on July 11, 1927, in Kissimmee, Fla., the daughter of Norman and Mildred (Perffit) Bright. She was married to James Thompson on Jan. 12, 1946, in Kissimmee, Fla.

Mrs. Thompson was employed by Hart-Carter in Mendota before her retirement. She moved from Mendota, Ill. to Green Valley, Ill. last year to be with her daughter.

Survivors include four daughters, Alice (James) Fritz, Mendota, Sandra Szuda, Green Valley, Ill., Joyce (Bruce) Garczynski, Kewaskum, and Carolyn (Dewey) Hamilton, Beaver Dam; four sons, Harold (Joyce) and James Jr. (Paulette), both of Beaver Dam, Richard (Grace) and George (Cindy), both of Mendota, Ill.; 23 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy McKinney and Patricia Odle, both of Kissimmee, Fla.; two brothers, Clarence Bright, South Carolina, and Ervin Bright, California.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on June 8, 1991, and five brothers.

Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.

Herbert H. Lehner Sr.
Herbert H. Lehner Sr., 94, of Beaver Dam, died on Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2002, at Hillside Manor, Beaver Dam.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 11 a.m., at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Beaver Dam. The Revs. Edward Wieland and James Bergin, SVD, will concelebrate. Burial will be in St. Peter's cemetery, town of Beaver Dam.

Mr. Lehner was born on Nov. 16, 1907, in Beaver Dam, the son of Oswald A. and Catherine (Neurohr) Lehner. He was married to Julianna Westenmeyer on June 24, 1939, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Beaver Dam.

Herbert attended St. Mary's Catholic Grade School in Beaver Dam and in 1922 enrolled in The Divine Word Seminary High School and Junior College in Techny, Ill., being a member of the class of 1928. He dedicated his life to farming and to raising his family. Herbert owned a farm south of Beaver Dam adjacent to his father's farm. He was an avid reader, had a good sense of humor and enjoyed all aspects of rural life. Mr. Lehner was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Beaver Dam.

Survivors include his wife, Julianna E. Lehner, Beaver Dam; seven children, Rose Marie Klavekoske, Beaver Dam, M. Therese (Carlos) Campos, Milwaukee, Celine (Thomas) Brzezinski, Beaver Dam, Herbert (Sandy) Lehner Jr., Beaver Dam, Virginia (Danny) Behring, Beaver Dam, Bernadette (James) Hafenstein, Beaver Dam, and Guy (Colleen) Lehner, Beaver Dam; one sister, Josephine Rake, Beaver Dam; 27 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Catherine Lehner on April 1, 1914, and Oswald A. Lehner on Oct. 15, 1961; two brothers, Leo Lehner on June 5, 1909, and John H. Lehner on March 2, 1969; one infant daughter, Therese on Feb. 18, 1943; two grandchildren, Luis Felipe Campos on March 29, 1975, and Jonathan H. Behring on May 12, 1994, and one son-in-law, Donald Klavekoske on Jan. 22, 2001.

Friends may call on Friday, Oct. 4, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Murray Community Funeral Home, Beaver Dam, where a parish vigil service will be held at 7 p.m., and on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Beaver Dam.

Memorials may be made to UCPS or St. Peter's Catholic Church.

The Murray Community Funeral Home, Beaver Dam, is serving the family.

Dr. Daniel Paradee
HUSTISFORD - Dr. Daniel Paradee, 80, of Hustisford, passed away on Friday, Sept. 27, 2002.

Friends may call on Wednesday, Oct. 8, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the First Presbyterian Church, 128 E. Anthony St., Hustisford, and on Thursday, Oct. 10, from 10 to 11 a.m., at the church. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.,m. at the church. Interment will be in Hustisford cemetery. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of Hustisford American Legion Post No. 420.

Dr. Paradee was born on April 23, 1922, in Columbus, Kan. the son of Herbert and Fannie (Heistand) Paradee. He was married to Mary Jane Howard, on Dec. 26, 1948, in Mt. Lebanon, Pa.

Dr. Paradee graduated from Kansas State University in 1950 in veterinary medicine. He served his country in the U.S. Army as a medical assistant. In 1950, he practiced general veterinary medicine in Iola, Kan. In 1952, he became the district supervisor for the U.S. Animal Research Service at Auburn, Ind. In 1952, he became a dairy cattle theriogenologist. In 1953, Dr. Paradee started his veterinary medical practice in Hustisford. He continued his work until his death.

Dr. Paradee served his profession and community in many ways, 1954-1974 he was a member of the Hustisford Volunteer Fire Department; was a director of the Hustisford Volunteer Fire Department; received the Paul Harris Fellowship from Horicon's Rotary Club; was Horicon's Rotary Club vice-president; 1978-1979 - president of the Hustisford Lion's Club; 1967 was a member of Hartford Memorial Hospital Foundation, board of directors 1989-2001. In 1953, he was a charter member of South Eastern Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association and president in 1962. He was an honorary member of the American Veterinary Medical Association in 1989. In 1958, he was a charter member of Dodge County Veterinary Association and president in 1968. He was a member of the Wisconsin and American Veterinary Medical Association, the Western States Veterinary Conference, the International Veterinary Symposium 1975-1990, and a member of the American Association of Bovine Practitioners.

Survivors include bothers and sisters, Bonnie Legion Columbus, Kan., Olive (Gene) Emerson, Columbus, Kan., Fern (Art) Westfall, Joplin, Mo., and Robert (Cornelia) Paradee, Salem, Ill.; one nephew, Dr. Kenneth (Beverly) Capron, Tulsa, Okla. who is handling the funeral arrangements; and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Dr. Paradee is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane in 1982; his mother-in-law, Mildred Howard; one brother, Chester Paradee, and two sisters, Pansy Fry and Alice Capron.

Memorials to The First Presbyterian Church of Hustisford or Hartford Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.

Norma M. Anderson
Norma M. Anderson, 73, of Beaver Dam, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2002, peacefully surrounded by her family.

The funeral will be held on Friday, Oct. 4, at 11 a.m., at the Murray Community Funeral Home, Beaver Dam. The Rev. William Key will officiate. Burial will be in St. Peter's cemetery, town of Beaver Dam. A luncheon will be served at St. Michael's Church basement after the committal service at the cemetery. Norma was a casual person, and so the family is requesting family and friends attending also dress casual.

Mrs. Anderson was born on March 8, 1929, in the town of Elba, Dodge County, the daughter of Fred A. and Harriet Ann (Pawson) Lockwood. She was married to Robert Anderson on Jan. 15, 1949, in Beaver Dam.

Norma "Toutie" was a lifelong resident of Beaver Dam, graduating from Beaver Dam High School in 1948. She was a childcare provider for 16 years for many wonderful children. Norma was also an avid flea market vendor and bingo player for many years. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. She will be sadly missed by friends, family and her dog.

Survivors include one son, Robert F. Anderson, Beaver Dam; one daughter, Cynthia Haima, Beaver Dam; six grandchildren, Melissa, Dayna, Kyle, Justin, Karissa and Colton; one sister, Rosella "Rose" Jarogoske, Beaver Dam; three brothers, Carl "Cackle" Lockwood, Beaver Dam, Edwin "Eddie" (Shirley) Lockwood, Monterey Park, Calif., and Eugene "Dutch" (Babe) Lockwood, Beaver Dam; her dog, Snickers; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert on Dec. 18, 1998; one brother, Fred Lockwood, and one sister, Shirley Wolfgang.

Friends may call on Friday, Oct. 4, from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m., at the Murray Community Funeral Home, Beaver Dam.

Evelyn M. Deanovich
MAYVILLE - Evelyn M. Deanovich, 78, of 205 Mary St., Mayville, died on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2002, at Hospice Home of Hope, Fond du Lac.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 2 p.m., at Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville. The Rev. David Koch will officiate. Entombment will be in Oakwood cemetery, Beaver Dam.

Mrs. Deanovich was born on Dec. 2, 1923, in Groton, S.D., the daughter of Frank and Frieda (Luehring) Fischer. She was married to Stephen T. Deanovich on April 27, 1945, in Norfolk, Va.

Mrs. Deanovich was a 1942 graduate of Mayville High School. She was a former editor of the Mayville News. She retired from Crescent Garage, Mayville, as a bookkeeper. She was a Mayville alderwoman for many years. She was listed in Who's Who Among American Women.

Survivors include one daughter, Carol (Nick) Klein, Mayville; one brother, Franklyn Fischer, Mayville; one sister, Gladys Krutke, Theresa; three grandchildren Stephanie (Keith) Stortz, Menomonee Falls, James (fiancee Melissa Wild) Bachhuber, Slinger, and PFC Brian Christian, San Diego, Calif; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on Sept. 17, 1985, and one brother, Victor.

Friends may call on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville.

In lieu of flower, memorials may be made to Hospice Home of Hope.

Margaret G. Blaser
Margaret G. Blaser, 91, of Beaver Dam, died on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2002, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at 11 a.m., at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Beaver Dam. The Rev. William Key will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery, Milwaukee.

Ms. Blaser was born on Nov. 18, 1910, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Robert and Alice (Manning) Blaser.

Margaret was a graduate of Loyola University in Chicago. She lived in Beaver Dam for many years and was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church where she was church organist for many years.

Survivors include three nephews, John Blaser, Franklin, William (Lynette) Blaser, Franklin, and James (Elaine) Blaser, Wausau; her sister-in-law, Ellen Blaser-Mueller, Franklin; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Mary Alice, and one brother, John.

Friends may call on Tuesday, Oct. 8, from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Beaver Dam.

Memorials may be made to St. Peter's Catholic Church, Beaver Dam, or the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Mary E. Wille
REESEVILLE - Mary E. Wille, 91, of Reeseville, died on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2002, at Continental Manor, Randolph.

The funeral will be held on Monday, Oct. 7, at 11 a.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church, Reeseville. The Rev. Donald Steinberg will officiate. Burial will be in Trinity cemetery, town of Lowell, Dodge County.

Mrs. Wille was born on March 22, 1911, in Belgium, the daughter of Camiel and Eloide (Depau) Goossens. She was married to Arnold Wille on Oct. 3, 1936, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Reeseville.

Mary moved from Belgium when she was three years old. She lived in the Dodge County area most of her life and farmed with her husband for many years. Mary was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church for many years. She enjoyed her iris flower garden.

Survivors include one daughter, Jeanne Wille, Columbus; one son, Richard (Gail) Wille, Randolph; one granddaughter, Julie Wille; two great-granddaughters, Alicia and Kelly Wille; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold, on Dec. 1, 1975, and one brother.

Friends may call on Monday, Oct. 7, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Reeseville.

Earl H. Hensler
WATERTOWN - Earl H. Hensler, 89, formerly of Reeseville, died on Friday, Dec. 28, 2001, at Marquardt Manor, Watertown.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, Jan 2, at 11 a.m., at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Reeseville. The Rev. Donald Steinberg will officiate. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Church, town of Lowell.

Mr. Hensler was born on Jan. 3, 1912, in the town of Portland, the son of Edward and Ella (Giese) Hensler. He was married on Jan. 20, 1932, to Burniss Soldner in Waterloo.

Mr. Hensler farmed in the Watertown area all his life. He also worked at Stokley Van Kamps, Columbus, for many years as a field supervisor. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a longtime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Reeseville.

Survivors include one son, Gordon (Lois) Hensler, Beaver Dam; five daughters, Marvel (William) Lenius, Rose (William) Wolfgang, both of Watertown, Lois (Stanley) Kassube, Waukesha, Shirley Sukow, Johnson Creek, and Deloris (Robert) Fredrick, Watertown; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Eleanor Battles, Waukesha, and Elaine Beyer, Watertown; one brother, Orville Hensler, Lometo, Texas; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Burniss, in 1996; two sisters, Cecelia Janisch-Callies, and Gertrude Reidel, and three brothers, Alfred, Reuben and Franklin Hensler.

Friends may call on Tuesday, Jan. 1, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Murray Community Funeral Home, Reeseville.

Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, or the charity of one's choice.

Glen L. Redeker
BRANDON - Glen L. Redeker, 68, of Brandon, died on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2001, at his home following a courageous battle with cancer.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 2, at 11 a.m., at the Bethel Reformed Church, Brandon. The Rev. Ted Meedema will officiate. Burial will be in Alto cemetery, Alto. Graveside military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post No. 210.

Mr. Redeker was born on May 16, 1933, in Alto, the son of John and Maggie (Kamphuis) Redeker. He was married on Sept. 9, 1954, to Ardis Hartgerink in Brandon.

Mr. Redeker was a 1951 graduate of Brandon High School. Following marriage, the couple resided in the Brandon area all of their lives. He farmed for a period of time, then owned and operated Redeker Dairy Equipment for 25 years, retiring in May of 1996. He was an avid horseman being involved with harness racing for several years. He was a member of the Wisconsin Harness Association, Gideons, Bethel Reformed Church, Brandon, where he served several terms as elder and deacon, and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served from 1952 to 1954.

Survivors include his wife, Ardis Redeker, Brandon; one son, Richard (Karen) Redeker, Brandon; four daughters, Sharon (Michael) Bos, Brandon, Sandra (Kelvin) Vande Zande, Waupun, Debra (Randy) Pinnow, Fond du lac, and Roseanne (Michael) Tenpas, Pewaukee; 10 grandchildren, Daniel and Eric Redeker, Jason and Jenna Bos, Klint and Kyle Vande Zande, Sara and Jennifer Pinnow, Benjamin and Isabel Tenpas; one brother, Otto (Irene) Redeker, Waupun; one sister, Phyllis (George) Pluim; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and one sister.

Friends may call on Tuesday, Jan. 1, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home, Waupun, and on Wednesday Jan. 2, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at Bethel Reformed Church, Brandon.
