Josephine J. Yaucher
Josephine J. Yaucher, 90, of 709 S. Center St., Beaver Dam, died on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2001, at Beaver Dam Community Hospital.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 2, at 11 a.m., at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Beaver Dam. The Rev. Daniel Massie will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michael's cemetery, Beaver Dam.

Mrs. Yaucher was born on Jan. 3, 1911, in Beaver Dam, the daughter of Ignatz and Rose Baszynski. She was married on Jan. 22, 1949, to Raphael Yaucher.

Mrs. Yaucher worked at the Hotel Rogers for a short time, then at Weyenberg's Shoe Factory for 42 years until her retirement in 1973. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Beaver Dam. where she was active in the Rosary Society, Sacred Heart League, and the Apostulate of Suffering. She will be sadly missed by her family.

Survivors include her husband, Raphael Yaucher, Beaver Dam; special caregiver, Jolene Myers; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, John, in infancy, Joseph (Lucille) Baszynski, and Stanley (Verone) Baszynski, and one sister, Clara (Raymond) Kemp.

Friends may call on Wednesday, Jan. 2, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Beaver Dam.

The Koepsell Funeral Home, Beaver Dam, is serving the family.

Anita E. Bachhuber
MAYVILLE - Anita E. Bachhuber, 90, of 429 Janssen Ave., Mayville, died on Friday, Dec. 28, 2001, at Beaver Dam Community Hospital.

The funeral will be held on Monday, Dec. 31, at 1 p.m., at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville. The Rev. Christal Bindrich will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery, Mayville.

Mrs. Bachhuber was born on Feb. 22, 1911, in Bonduel, the daughter of Arthur and Katherine (Weiss) Lange. She was married on Sept. 7, 1940, to Roman N. Bachhuber in Mayville.

Mrs. Bachhuber was a 1928 graduate of Mayville High School. She later attended Milwaukee Normal School. She was a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Mayville, a member of the St. Peter Altar Guild, and a former member of the Mayville Golf Club.

Survivors include two sons, Robert (Wanda) Bachhuber, and John Bachhuber, both of Mayville; one sister-in-law, Marion Bridgeman, Fort Meyers, Fla.; two grandchildren, Stephanie (Keith) Stortz, and James Bachhuber, both of Menomonee Falls; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roman Bachhuber, in 1972; one brother, and one sister.

Friends may call on Monday, Dec. 31, from noon until the time of service at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Mayville.

Lorraine E. Nelson
WYOCENA - Lorraine Ella Nelson, 88, a resident of the Columbia County Care Center, Wyocena, died on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2001, at the center.

The funeral will be held on Friday, Jan. 4, at 11 a.m., at Spring Prairie Lutheran Church, Keyeser. The Rev. Rolf Olson will officiate. Burial will be in Hampden cemetery, town of Hampden.

Mrs. Nelson was born on March 20, 1913, in Watertown, the daughter of Paul and Josephine (Habeck) Gevers. She was married on June 23, 1951, to Elmer Nelson in Watertown.

Mrs. Nelson was a devoted member of Spring Prairie Lutheran Church, Keyeser.

Survivors include two sons, David (Carol) Nelson, and Richard Nelson, both of Rio; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer, on May 26, 1981; one sister, and two brothers.

Friends may call on Thursday, Jan. 3, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Zeidler Funeral Home, Columbus, and on Friday, Jan. 4, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at Spring Prairie Lutheran Church, Keyeser.

Jean Skou
OSHKOSH - Jean Wellnitz Skou, died on Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2001, at Mercy Medical Center, Oshkosh.

Private memorial services will be held.

Mr. Skou was born on May 22, 1934, in Marquette, the daughter of Frederick and Anna (Albrecht) Wellnitz.

Survivors include her husband, Eiler Skou; one son, Jeff Skou; four sisters, Fern (Edgar) Zimmerman, Nadine (Raymond) Challoner, Carol Groose, and Ruth Sommers; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Drive, Ripon, is serving the family.

Raymond J. Seier
WAUKESHA - Raymond J. Seier, 70, of Waukesha, died on Sunday, Dec. 16, 2001.

The funeral was held on Wednesday, Dec. 19, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Waukesha. The Rev. James Wilch officiated. Burial was in Prairie Home cemetery.

Mr. Seier was born on July 26, 1931, in Fall River, the son of Clarence and Lucille (Piechekoski) Seier. He was married on Oct. 19, 1969 to Evelyn.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Seier; two daughters, Lynn (Charles) Jones, and Peggy (Douglas) Kirkland, Arizona; his mother, Lucille, Seier, Columbus; one sister, Joan (Donald) Lee, Columbus; one brother, Russell (Judy) Seier, Columbus; four step-children, Sharon Otto, New Berlin, Judie (George) Farrell, Janesville, Robert (Deborah) Kabitzke, Waukesha, and Gary (Kelly) Kabitzke, Grafton; 12 step-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence, and his grandparents.

Memorials may be made in Ray's name to St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Waukesha Memorial Regional Cancer Center, or Rolland Nelson Crossroads Home Hospice.

Roland Hanni
MAYVILLE - Roland "Rollie" Hanni, 71, of 252 S. Walnut St., Mayville, died on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2001, at University Hospital, Madison.

The funeral will be held on Monday, Dec. 31, at 2 p.m., at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Mayville. The Revs. Edward Blonski and William Stark will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's cemetery, Mayville. Graveside military rites will be conducted by Mayville American Legion Post No. 69.

Mr. Hanni was born on Aug. 28, 1930, in Mayville, the son of Alfred and Verna (Selchert) Hanni. He was married on June 21, 1959, to Noreda Pagel in Mayville.

Mr. Hanni was a graduate of Mayville High School. He was employed at Hanni's Cheese Factory, became a Mayville police officer on Nov. 23, 1967, and retired on June 30, 1990. He was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Mayville. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from Oct. 12, 1951 to Sept. 24, 1953. He was a member of the Mayville American Legion Post No. 69, and a member of the VFW Post No. 10170. He received the American Legion Outstanding Police Officer Award in 1980. He also received the Mayville Citizen of the Year Award. He coached American Legion baseball from 1977 to 1982, and was a faithful and devoted Chicago Cubs fan.

Survivors include his wife, Noreda Hanni, Mayville; five children, Karen (Bob) Wendt, Tim Hanni, Jerry Hanni, Randy (fiancee Sherry Hebenstreich) Hanni, all of Mayville, and Connie Hanni, Horicon; one sister-in-law, Elaine Birr, Horicon; nine grandchildren, Erin, Jeremy, Corey, Jessie, Casey, Katie, Kristen, Amanda and Darci; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one granddaughter, and one great-grandson.

Friends may call on Monday, Dec. 31, from 11 a.m. until the time of service at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Mayville.

Memorials may be made to St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam.

Margaret A. Maleck
Margaret A. Maleck, 63, of N5909 N. Maleck Circle, Beaver Dam, died on Friday, Dec. 28, 2001, at Beaver Dam Community Hospital.

The funeral will be held on Sunday, Dec. 30, at 7 p.m., at the Murray Community Funeral Home, Beaver Dam. The Rev. Donald Bader will officiate. Burial will be in St. Peter's cemetery, Beaver Dam.

Miss Maleck was born on March 15, 1938, the daughter of Michael F. and Charlotte (Mallon) Maleck.

Miss Maleck was a 1955 graduate of Beaver Dam High School. She worked at Kraft Foods, Beaver Dam, for 43 years, retiring in 1999.

Survivors include her father, Michael F. Maleck, Beaver Dam; five brothers, John, (Janet) Maleck, Belvidere, Ill., David (Karen) Maleck, Garry (Jane) Maleck, Michael (Nancy) Maleck, and Patrick (Patricia) Maleck, all of Beaver Dam; two sisters, Carol (Kenneth) Braker, Harrisville, and Charlynn "Susie" (Kenneth) Scott, Beaver Dam; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Charlotte, in 1988; one niece, Jaclynn Maleck, in 1991; one nephew, Corey Maleck, in 2000, and a special friend, June Roberts, in 2000.

Friends may call on Sunday, Dec. 30, from 6 p.m. until the time of service at the Murray Community Funeral Home, Beaver Dam.

Valerie J. Wood
Valerie J. Wood, 48, of 118 Gould St., Beaver Dam, died on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2001, at St. Mary's Hospital, Madison.

The funeral will be held on Sunday, Dec. 30, at 1:30 p.m., at St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam. The Rev. Mark Lindner will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery, Beaver Dam.

Mrs. Wood was born on Feb. 9, 1953, in Beaver Dam, the daughter of Robert and Lorraine (Floeter) Haima. She was married on April 19, 1980, to John Wood at St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam.

Mrs. Wood was a 1971 graduate of Ripon High School. She worked at Kraft Foods, Beaver Dam, for over 18 years, and was a member of St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam, for over 28 years.

Survivors include her husband, John Wood, Beaver Dam; three daughters, Camie Wood, Watertown, Stephanie Wood, and Courtney Wood, both of Beaver Dam; her mother and stepfather, Lorraine and Orville Selle, Ripon; one brother, Randy (Rosemary) Haima, Ripon; two stepsisters; three stepbrothers; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Haima, and one sister, Cherryl Doering, in 1994.

Friends may call on Saturday, Dec. 29, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Murray Community Funeral Home, Beaver Dam, and on Sunday, Dec. 30, from noon until the time of service at St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam.

Magdalene E. Lanzhammer
LARGO, Fla. - Magdalene E. Lanzhammer, 78, of Largo, Fla., died on Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2001, at the Largo Medical Center, Largo, Fla.

Mrs. Lanzhammer was born in Pforzheim, Germany.

Mrs. Lanzhammer moved to Largo, Fla., from Beaver Dam in 1992. She was a retired accountant and partner/secretary/treasurer of Beaver Metals, Beaver Dam. Of Lutheran faith, she was a former member of the Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce, and the Women's Circle of St. John's Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Paul; two sons, Joseph Paul Lanzhammer, Rio, and Johannes Lanzhammer, Tarpon Springs, Fla.; three daughters, Linda Lanzhammer, Ashland, Ore., Johanna Hovsepian, Seminole, Fla., and Helen Kurth, Beaver Dam; one brother, Erich Meutlein, Taveres, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The Lewis W. Mohn Funeral Home, 9700 Seminole Blvd., Seminole, Fla., is serving the family.

Ada Billie
FOND DU LAC - Ada Billie, 97, a resident of Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Fond du Lac, died on Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2001, at the home.

The funeral will be held on Friday, Dec. 28, at 10:30 a.m. at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home, Waupun. The Rev. Michael Bausch will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Mound cemetery, Alto.

Mrs. Billie was born on Aug. 6, 1904, in Brandon, the daughter of John and Grace (Barkelaar) Wellhouse. She was married on Sept. 20, 1933, to Arthur Billie in Plymouth.

Mrs. Billie and her husband farmed in the Alto/Waupun area until 1970, at which time they retired and moved to Waupun. She was a member of the Union Congregational Church, Waupun.

Survivors include one daughter, Grace Hermann, Brandon; two sons, John (Donna) Billie, Crivitz, and Donald Billie, Silver Spring, Md.; two grandchildren, Suzanne (Randy) Reimer, Beaver Dam, and David (Nicole) Hermann, McKinney, Texas; two great-grandsons, Noah and Nicholas Reimer; four step-grandchildren, Wendy (Jim) Barbeau, Waupun, Susie (Shannon) Letau, Waupaca, Holly Wagner, Ripon, and Seth Wagner, Park Falls; four step-great-grandchildren, Whitney, Max, DeLaney Barbeau, and Sailor Letau; one step-son-in-law, Jerome Den Boer, Sheboygan; three step-grandchildren, Deborah (Ron) Wilke, Dawn (James) Rosenthal, and Jamie Den Boer, all of Sheboygan; three step-great-grandchildren, Andy, Mathew and Jenna Rosenthal; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; one step-daughter; one son-in-law; four sisters; one infant son, and one nephew.

Friends may call on Friday, Dec. 28, from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home, Waupun.

Carlotta Campanaro
WAUPUN - Carlotta Campanaro, 60, of Waupun, died on Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2001, at her home.

A wake service will be held on Friday, Dec. 28, at 2 p.m., at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home, Waupun. The Rev. Michael Moran will officiate.

Mrs. Campanaro was born on Sept. 12, 1941, the daughter of Carl and Catherine (Spatafore) Snyder. She was married in 1959, to Victor Campanaro in Chicago.

Mrs. Campanaro attended DuPage College, Glen Ellen, Ill. Following their marriage the couple resided in Chicago most of their married life. She was employed at Snyder and Sons Furniture, Chicago, as a salesperson. Later in life she was in real estate in the Chicago area. She moved to Waupun in 1996.

Survivors include two daughters, Pamela Campanaro and Janice Campanaro, both of Waupun; one granddaughter, Nichole, Waupun; one sister, Kay (Ken) Brinkmann, Waupun; three brothers, Carl (Rita) Snyder Jr., Norridge, Ill., George Snyder, Villa Park, Ill., and Gregg Snyder, Illinois; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
