Russell H. Druecke
Russell H. Druecke, 81, of Beaver Dam, formerly of Oak Grove, died on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2001, at Hillside Manor, Beaver Dam.

The funeral was held on Monday, Dec. 31, at 12:30 p.m., at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, Oak Grove. The Rev. Roger Grosnick officiated. Burial was in Oak Grove cemetery.

Mr. Druecke was born on March 3, 1920, in the town of Oak Grove, the son of Rudolph and Adela (Sell) Druecke. He was married on May 5, 1951, to Ruth Pasewald in Beaver Dam.

Mr. Druecke served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a member of the Dodge County Auxiliary Police Force and riot squad. In 1971, he was appointed Dodge County supervisor for District 14. He served on the Public Health and Special Hospital Building committees. He was employed as mill manager of River Valley Co-op, Watertown, for 23 years. He was a member of St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, Oak Grove, since 1947, and served as elder and treasurer. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting, reading and crafts.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Druecke, Oak Grove; one son, Scott Druecke, Beaver Dam; one granddaughter, Carla Eddy; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Doris Schumacher; one brother-in-law, William Pasewald; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Edna Lepien and Ada Loos, and one brother, Leroy Druecke.

Friends called on Monday, Dec. 31, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, Oak Grove.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Philip W. Zingsheim
THERESA - Philip W. Zingsheim, 87, of 314 Church St., Theresa, died on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2001, at Hope Health and Rehabilitation Center, Lomira.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, Jan. 3, at 6 p.m., at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, Theresa. The Rev. Vincent Holubowicz will officiate. Burial will be in St. Theresa Memorial Garden, Theresa.

Mr. Zingsheim was born on April 1, 1914, in Neno, the son of Ambrose and Julia (Wolf) Zingsheim. He was married on June 24, 1952, to Dorothy A. Weber in Neno.

Mr. Zingsheim farmed in the town of Theresa. He was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church, Theresa. He enjoyed his family, hunting, fishing and playing cards.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Zingsheim, Theresa; his children, Mary (James) Blank, Oshkosh, Robert (Lucy) Zingsheim, Rudolph, and Diane Zingsheim, Theresa; two brothers, Felix Zingsheim, Lomira, and Wendolin (Beulah) Zingsheim, Neno; one sister-in-law, Leona Zingsheim, Mayville; four grandchildren, Heidi and James Blank, Ann and Amy Zingsheim;; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death his parents, two brothers, eight sisters and one granddaughter, Jennifer.

Friends may call on Thursday, Jan. 3, from 4 to 6 p.m., at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, Theresa.

Joseph T. Paul
HOLLYWOOD, Fla. - Joseph T. Paul, 38, of 6891 Scott St., Hollywood, Fla., died on Sunday, Dec. 23, 2001, as the result of an automobile accident.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, Jan. 3, at 11 a.m., at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, Theresa. The Rev. Vincent Holubowicz will officiate. Burial will be in St. Theresa Memorial Garden, Theresa.

Mr. Paul was born on Oct. 4, 1963, in Cudahy, the son of Jesse and Janet (Rassel) Paul.

Mr. Paul was a 1980 graduate of Lomira High School. He was employed as a truck driver in Hollywood, Fla.

Survivors include his parents, Jesse and Janet Paul, Theresa; two brothers, James (Jennifer) Paul, Ellington, Conn., and John Paul, Theresa; one sister, Joan (David) Bonack, Theresa; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Friends may call on Thursday, Jan. 3, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, Theresa.

The Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville, is serving the family.

Grace Witvoet
WAUPUN - Grace "Blondie" Witvoet, 87, of 331 Bly St., Waupun, died on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2001, at the Christian Home and Rehabilitation Center, Waupun.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, Jan. 3, at 10 a.m., at the Kohls Community Funeral Home, Waupun. The Rev. G.M. de Leeuw will officiate. Burial will be in Alto cemetery.

Mrs. Witvoet was born on July 30, 1914, in Alto, the daughter of Gerrit and Ida (Frens) Konings. She was married on June 23, 1934, to Arnold "Bum" Pluim in Waukegan, Ill. She was married on April 1, 1981, to John Witvoet in Lansing, Ill.

Mrs. Witvoet lived most of her life in the Waupun area and was a member of the Netherlands Reformed Church, Waupun.

Survivors include her children, David (Delores) Pluim, Waupun, Ronald Pluim, Waunakee, and Mary Ann (Richard) Tank, Waupun; 12 grandchildren; four stepchildren, Carrie (Glenn) Kooy, Betty (Roger) Newenhouse, John (Lorna) Witvoet Jr., and Cora Tiemans, all of Lansing, Ill.; 16 step-grandchildren several step-great-grandchildren; four sisters-in-law, "Buzz" and Josephine Konings, Alice (Burt) Larson, all of Waupun, and Edith Pluim, Brandon; one brother-in-law, Gary (Florence) Pluim, Waupun; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Arnold Pluim, on Feb. 17, 1975; her second husband, John Witvoet, in February of 1987; her parents; five brothers, and three sisters.

Friends may call on Wednesday, Jan. 2, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Kohls Community Funeral Home.

The Kohls Community Funeral Home, Waupun, is serving the family.

James D. Kelsh Sr.
COLUMBUS - James "Jim" D. Kelsh Sr., 79, of Columbus, died on Thursday, June 6, 2002, at his home.

A memorial Mass will be held on Friday, June 14, at 11 a.m., at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Columbus. The Revs. David Garcia and Bruce Hennington will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside cemetery, Columbus.

Mr. Kelsh was born on Dec. 25, 1922, in Oshkosh, the son of William and Eileen (Doyle) Kelsh. He was married on April 27, 1946, to Gloria Krippene in Oshkosh.

Mr. Kelsh was a graduate of Oshkosh High School. Following high school he served in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1945. He was a 1951 graduate of UW-Madison, earning a bachelor of arts degree in business administration. He moved to Columbus in 1951, where he worked in the plumbing and heating industry until 1968. He then was employed by O'Brien Manufacturing, Bruce Municipal Equipment Co., and Jet Vac in Columbus, until his retirement in 1984. He served four consecutive terms as third ward alderman and also served as council president for four years for the city of Columbus. He was a former member of the Board of Review for the city of Columbus, and was a member of the Columbus Fire Department for seven years. In 2000, he was named Columbus July 4th parade marshal. He was a past president of the Columbus Rotary Club, and was mayor for the city of Columbus from 1984 to 1992. He was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church, Columbus.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria Kelsh, Columbus; three daughters, Mary (Jose) Vasquez, Wauwatosa, Elizabeth Dawson, Oconomowoc, and Suzy (Robert) Liverseed, Columbus; one son, James (Mariam) Kelsh Jr., Columbus; nine grandchildren; two brothers, William (Mary) Kelsh, Orlando, Fla., and John (Kathleen) Kelsh, Garden City, N.J.; relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call on Friday, June 14, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Columbus.

Memorials may be made to St. Jerome School or Hillside Hospice.

Jane F. Poggemiller
STOUGHTON - Jane Francis Poggemiller, of Stoughton, died on Sunday, March 24, 2002, at the Hospice Center, Madison.

A private memorial service was held on Friday, March 29, at the Olson-Holzhuter-Cress Funeral Home, Stoughton.

Mrs. Poggemiller was born on June 9, 1935, on the Allan homestead in the town of Chester, the daughter of Harold and Gertrude (Peters) Allan. She was married to Louis Poggemiller.

Mrs. Poggemiller was a graduate of Waupun High School and Wisconsin Oshkosh State Teachers College. She taught mathematics and algebra in high schools throughout Wisconsin, retiring from Marshall High School.

Survivors include two brothers, Lawrence (Dorothy) Allan, Oshkosh, and Harold (Shirley) Allan Jr., Fairlawn, Ohio; two sisters, Ruth Nielson, Kenosha, and Lois (Ralph) Grennell, Menomonee Falls; one brother-in-law, Sylvester (Lorraine) Panske, Neenah; one sister-in-law, Helen Allan, Waupun; a brother- and sister-in-law in Chicago; many nieces and nephews in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Alaska, Nevada, Arizona, Ohio, Texas, Florida and California; relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Donald David Allan, in infancy, Robert Peter Allan, and Roy H. Allan; one sister, Grace Panske; one brother-in-law, Bertram Niel; three sisters-in-law, Marian Allan, Pauletta Allan, and Maxine Allan.

Isabell M. Branting
CLEARWATER, Fla. - Isabelle Mae Branting, 87, a resident of the Largo Health Care Center, Clearwater, Fla., and formerly of Columbus and Randolph, died on Thursday, March 28, 2002, in Clearwater, Fla.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 3, at 11 a.m., at Hillside cemetery, Columbus.

Miss Branting was born on Oct. 11, 1914, in Randolph, the daughter of Sankey and Christina (Brill) Thomas.

Miss Branting served as an Army nurse in Milwaukee in 1941. In 1952, she moved to Clearwater, Fla., where she was employed with Tampa General Hospital, Tampa, Fla., until her retirement.

Survivors include one nephew, William D. Thomas, Clearwater, Fla.; two nieces, Jeannine Robertson, Citrus Springs, Fla., and Janice Mintzer, Punta Gorda, Fla.; relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

There will be no visitation.

Harold A. Schleicher
Harold A. Schleicher, 83, of 110B Industrial Drive, Beaver Dam, died on Friday, March 29, 2002, at Beaver Dam Community Hospital.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 2, at 11 a.m., at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Beaver Dam. The Rev. John Breitwisch will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens, town of Trenton.

Mr. Schleicher was born on April 24, 1918, in the town of Oasis, the son of William and Carrie (Leavitt) Schleicher. He was married on Jan. 26, 1940, to Elaine Mittlestaedt at Pella Lutheran Church, Waupun.

Mr. Schleicher was a graduate of Waupun High School. He was employed at the Ideal Shoe Factory, Waupun, for many years, and the Montello School District as a custodian. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam. He served his country in World War II, in the U.S. Navy. He volunteered at the Bethesda Country Fair for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine Schleicher, Beaver Dam; three children, Lynn (John) Gilmore, Neenah, Jodi (Jim) Bandt, Oregon, and Bruce Schleicher, Kansas; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter-in-law, Sandy Schleicher; four brothers, and five sisters.

Friends may call on Tuesday, April 2, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Beaver Dam.

Memorials may be made to Bethesda Lutheran Home.

Clarence O. Wille
JUNEAU - Clarence "Buddy" O. Wille, 72, of Juneau, died on Sunday, March 31, 2002, at Clearview South Nursing Home, Juneau.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 3, at 11 a.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church, town of Lowell. The Rev. Lowell Holtz will officiate. Burial will be in Trinity cemetery.

Mr. Wille was born on April 14, 1929, the son of Otto and Amanda (Firari) Wille.

Survivors include one sister, Adeline Priebusch, Continental Manor, Randolph; three nieces; two nephews; relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Edgar Wille, and an infant sister, Bernice Wille.

Friends may call on Wednesday, April 3, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at Trinity Lutheran Church, town of Lowell.

Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.

John M. Montgomery
John M. Montgomery, 19, of rural Beaver Dam, died on Sunday, March 31, 2002, in Milwaukee.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, April 4, at noon, at the Murray Community Funeral Home, Beaver Dam. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery, Beaver Dam.

Mr. Montgomery was born on May 31, 1982, in Green Bay, the son of Mark and Cheri (Vincelli) Montgomery.

Mr. Montgomery moved to Beaver Dam from Lone Rock, where he attended River Valley Schools. He was most recently enrolled at Waukesha County Technical College.

Survivors include his parents, Mark and Cheri Montgomery, Beaver Dam; four brothers, Jerubbaall, Jehu, Ezekiel, and Philip, all of Beaver Dam; two sisters, Leesha and Zeruiah Montgomery, both of Beaver Dam; paternal grandfather, Norval Montgomery, Great Falls, Mont.; maternal grandmother, Jeanette Vincelli, Wausau; relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, DeLoris Jean Montgomery, and maternal grandfather, the Rev. Michael Vincelli.

Friends may call on Thursday, April 4, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the Murray Community Funeral Home, Beaver Dam.
