Clark B. Williams
FOX LAKE - Clark Benjamin Williams, 89, of Fox Lake, died on Monday, Jan. 14, 2002, at his home.

A Masonic funeral service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 19, at 3 p.m., at the Kratz-Smedema Funeral Home, Fox Lake. The service will be conducted by the Waupun No. 48 F & AM Masonic Lodge. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park cemetery, Fox Lake. A luncheon will follow at the Robert W. Ginther American Legion Post No. 521, Fox Lake.

Mr. Clark was born on March 6, 1912, in Green Lake County, the son of Robert and Jennie Maude (Carter) Williams. He was married in 1940 to Delia Paul. He was later married in 1967, to Thelma (Bennett) Hollnagel.

Mr. Clark attended the Randolph school system and farmed the family homestead. Following his second marriage, the couple moved to Fox Lake where he was employed with the Waupun School District as a custodian and delivered the hot meal program to area schools in the district. He was a member of the Waupun No. 48 F & AM Masonic Lodge, Zor Temple AAONMS, Madison, the Lodge Council Chapter Consistory Valley, Madison, and the Badger Shriner Club.

He will be deeply missed and mourned by two nephews; four nieces; great nieces and nephews; great-great-nieces and nephews; one sister, Verna Williams, West Bend; relatives, his extended family at local establishments and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Delia, in November 1950; his second wife, Thelma; one son, Robert Clark Williams, in infancy, and three brothers, Bruce, Leigh and Robert "Glen" Williams.

Friends may call on Saturday, Jan. 19, from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the Kratz-Smedema Funeral Home, Fox Lake

Laura S. Milbrandt
Laura "Lollie" Susan Milbrandt, 89, of 408 Stone St., Beaver Dam, died on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2002, at Hillside Manor.

Burial will be on Friday, Jan. 18, at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield.

Mrs. Milbrandt was born on Jan. 17, 1912, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of Guy Felton and Nellie (Blie) Phillips. She was married on Dec. 27, 1933, to Harry Milbrandt in Milwaukee.

Mrs. Milbrandt attended high school in Milwaukee. She was employed as a manager of an apartment building and the Boston Store in Milwaukee.

Survivors include one niece, Lynn Bell; one nephew, Richard (Kieko) Mielke; great-nieces, great-nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, in 1978; one daughter, Mary, in 1944; one sister, Faye Phillips Carroll, and one brother, Ray Phillips.

The Koepsell Funeral Home, Beaver Dam, is serving the family.

Ted V. Stebnitz
TOWN OF ELBA - Ted. V. Stebnitz, 77, of Highway TT, town of Elba, died on Friday, March 1, 2002, at his home.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, March 6, at 11 a.m., at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, town of Elba. The Rev. John Simon will officiate. Burial will be in Washington cemetery, town of Portland.

Mr. Stebnitz was born on Oct. 18, 1924, in Mazomanie, the son of Edward and Minnie (Hottman) Stebnitz. He was married on May 7, 1958, to Marie Pernot in Belleville.

Mr. Stebnitz was a longtime town of Elba dairy farmer and member of St. Columbkille Catholic Church, town of Elba.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Stebnitz, Columbus; two daughters, Lucille (William) Riddle, Poynette, and Audrey (Leo) Fischer, Columbus; two sons, Sidney (friend, Pat Jurkowski, Sullivan) Stebnitz, Columbus, and Lawrence (Annette) Stebnitz, Reeseville; one son-in-law, Duane Schultz, Waterloo; six grandchildren, Karla and Brian Riddle, Andrew and Michael Fischer, Christopher and Jason Stebnitz; two sisters, Angeline (George) Shower, Chippewa Falls, and Blanche Thoni, Cottage Grove; one sister-in-law, Jeanette Stebnitz, Saint Nazianz; relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; Florence Solheim; one brother, Gaylord Stebnitz; one daughter, Debra Schultz, and one grandson, Gerald Riddle.

Friends may call on Tuesday, March 5, from 6 to 9 p.m., with a rosary service at 8:45 p.m., at the Jones-Jensen Funeral Home, Columbus, and on Wednesday, March 6, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, town of Elba.

Verna M. Dornfeld
CAMBRIA - Verna M. Dornfeld, 73, of Cambria, died Wednesday, March 6, 2002, at her home.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, March 9, at 11 a.m., at St. John's Lutheran Church, Salemville. The Rev. David Kastenschmidt will officiate. Burial will be in the Salemville cemetery.

Mrs. Dornfeld was born on Oct. 18, 1928, in the town of Fox Lake, the daughter of Rhinald and Esther (Grams) Kraft. She was married on Feb. 4, 1945, to Hubert Dornfeld at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Manchester.

Mrs. Dornfeld attended Randolph High School. She and her husband farmed in the Salemville area; later she worked at Wayside Amoco. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Salemville, its Ladies Aid and was church organist for 48 years. She enjoyed gardening, the outdoors, crocheting, reading and playing the piano and organ.

Survivors include her husband, Hubert; five sons, Dennis (Sheila) Dornfeld, Princeton, Gary (Ann) Dornfeld, Juneau, Richard (Lois) Dornfeld, Michael (Sue) Dornfeld, and Steven (Linda) Dornfeld, all of Cambria; 21 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Linda (James) Richardson and Lois Schultz, both of Fox Lake; dear friends, Bernice (Roy) Schreiber, Oshkosh; relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Barbara; one brother, Donald; one granddaughter, Lisa Dornfeld, and one brother-in-law, Bud Schultz.

Friends may call on Friday, March 8, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the Wachholz Family Funeral Home, Markesan, and may call on Saturday, March 9, from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

A memorial has been established.

Sara J. Mayr
ANTIGO - Sara Joan Mayr, 35, 1016 Arctic St., Antigo, died on Thursday, March 7, 2002, at Langlade Memorial Hospital, Antigo.

The funeral will be held on Monday, March 11, at 12:30 p.m., at the Bradley Funeral Home, Antigo. The Rev. Thomas Vanderbilt will officiate. Burial will be in Pine River cemetery, Pine River. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, March 12, at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. JoAnn Schoblaski will officiate.

Mrs. Mayr was born on July 5, 1966, in Berlin, the daughter of Eugene and Joan (Rogers) Bahr. She was married on Aug. 25, 1990, to Todd Mayr in Oshkosh.

Mrs. Mayr was a 1984 graduate of Wild Rose High School, and a 1990 graduate of UW-Oshkosh, with a bachelor's degree in sociology. She was raised in Pine River. Following her marriage, she was employed at the Bether Nursing Home, Oshkosh, as a CNA. She moved to Antigo in 1993 and was employed at Eastview Medical Rehabilitation Center, Antigo, as a social worker. She enjoyed camping, biking, gardening, hunting and fishing.

Survivors include her husband, Todd Mayr, Antigo; her mother, Joan Bahr, Pine River; two brothers, Roger (Sheri) Bahr, and Paul (Medina) Bahr, both of Pine River; two nephews, Alex and Ryan Bahr, Pine River; maternal grandmother, Mildred Rogers, Berlin; mother-in-law, Rochelle Mayr, Beaver Dam; one sister-in-law, Sue (Tim) Griffin, East Troy; two brothers-in-law, Craig Mayr, San Francisco, and Jason Mayr, Seattle; aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father; maternal grandfather, Norman Rogers, and her paternal grandparents, Ed and Florence Bahr.

Friends may call on Sunday, March 10, from 3:30 to 8 p.m., and Monday, March 11, from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service at the Bradley Funeral Home, Antigo.

Memorials may be made the family.

Leora Gohr
Leora Gohr, 88, of Beaver Dam, died on Saturday, March 9, 2002, at Columbus Community Hospital.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 12, at 11 a.m., at the Murray Community Funeral Home, Beaver Dam. The Rev. Greg Jewison will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside cemetery, Columbus.

Mrs. Gohr was born on Aug. 16, 1913, in Beaver Dam, the daughter of William and Pauline (Goetsch) Breitag. She was married on June 16, 1962, to Kenneth Gohr in Beaver Dam.

Mrs. Gohr graduated from Beaver Dam High School and the Dodge County Normal School in Mayville. She received her bachelor of science degree from UW-Oshkosh, and her master's degree from UW-Madison. Her post master's work was also from UW-Madison. She taught in the rural schools of Dodge County and was the principal of the multi-grade school in Burnett. She was the supervisor of elementary education for Fond du Lac and Green Lake counties. She was involved in the educational program in the Columbus Public Schools for many years until her retirement in 1975. The variety of educational activities in which she was involved during this time earned her a listing in the ninth edition of Who's Who of American Women and in the edition of the Notable Americans in the Bicentennial Era. She was a member of Trinity Church-United Methodist, Beaver Dam.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Gohr, Beaver Dam; one brother, Larry (Betty) Breitag, Fox Lake; one sister-in-law, Helen Breitag, Fox Lake; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Herbert; one sister, Alice McLaughlin, and another sister in infancy.

Henrietta A. Nielsen
Henrietta A. Nielsen, 86, of Beaver Dam, died on Saturday, March 9, 2002, at Hillside Manor, Beaver Dam.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, March 14, at 11 a.m., at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Beaver Dam. The Rev. William Key will officiate. Burial will be in St. Patrick's cemetery, Beaver Dam.

Mrs. Nielsen was born on Dec. 2, 1915, in the town of Beaver Dam, the daughter of Henry and Susan (Aman) Sheskey. She was married on July 20, 1957, to Niels Nielsen at St. Mary's, Lost Lake.

Mrs. Nielsen was a graduate of Randolph High School, Columbia County Normal School, UW-Oshkosh and Marquette University. She taught in the rural schools of Dodge County, and the Evansville, Sheboygan and Franklin Public School System, teaching for over 43 years. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Beaver Dam, and the Christian Women.

Survivors include one stepdaughter, Carol Gouyd, Monterey, Calif.; one step-grandson, Sean Gouyd, Hollywood, Calif.; two brothers, John (Twila) Sheskey, Madison, and Francis Sheskey, Janesville; one sister, Genevieve Goeller, Beaver Dam; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Niels, on July 6, 2000; stepmother, Jennie; one sister, Betty Hopp; one sister in infancy, Rosemary, and one brother, Maurice Sheskey.

Friends may call on Thursday, March 14, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., at the Murray Community Funeral Home, Beaver Dam.

Florence E. Samz
WAUPUN - Florence Ena Samz, formerly of Crandon, died on Monday, March 11, 2002, in Waupun.

The funeral will be held on Friday, March 15, at noon, at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, Crandon. The Rev. Michael Herdt will officiate. Burial will be in Crandon Lakeside cemetery.

Mrs. Samz was born on Oct. 29, 1905, in Llanidloes, Wales, Great Britain, the daughter of Thomas Lewis and Mary Jane (Jones) Woosencraft. She was married on Nov. 14, 1931, to Leo G. Samz.

Mrs. Samz came to the United States as a child and her family lived in Dunbar until 1922, when they moved to Goodman. She was a graduate of Goodman High School, and was an assistant postmaster for several years. After her marriage, she and her husband moved to Crandon, where she resided for 49 years. She was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church, Crandon. From 1960 to 1964, she was a house mother for the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity at UW-Whitewater. In 1980, she moved to Green Bay, and in 1992, she moved to Waupun.

Survivors include one daughter, Charlotte (Larry) Rackow, Waupun; one daughter-in-law, Dolores Samz, St. Francis; two sisters-in-law, Mayme Woosencraft, Green Bay, and Angeline Woosencraft, Pulaski; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo; one son, Edward L. Samz; five brothers, William, George, Pryce, Emlym and Donald, and four sisters, Mary Elizabeth Maude, Ruby Gladys, Jennie and Hazel.

Friends may call on Friday, March 15, from 11 a.m. until the time of service at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, Crandon.

The Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home, Waupun, is serving the family.

Memorials may be made to St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Beaver Dam, or UCPS.

Lonnie A. Leu Sr.
MEDFORD - Lonnie A. Leu Sr., 40, of N4583 Highway 13, Medford, died on Thursday, March 7, 2002, as a result of injuries sustained in a snowmobile accident.

The funeral was held on Monday, March 11, at 11 a.m., at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Medford. The Rev. Dennis Meulemans officiated. Burial was in Stetsonville Catholic cemetery, Stetsonville.

Mr. Leu was born on Dec. 8, 1961, in Marshfield, the son of Duane "Butch" and Helen Leu. He was married on Aug. 19, 1982, to Lisa M. Godersky at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Stetsonville.

Mr. Leu was a 1980 graduate of Abbotsford Senior High School. In his early years, during and following his education, he was employed at Ron's Deep Rock, Abbotsford. In 1981, he began employment with Hurd Millwork, Medford, where he most recently was a truck driver, shuttling semi-trailers. He and his family established Lonnie Leu Racing and he was active in stock car dirt racing. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Medford, the Northwoods Archers, and the Wissota Racing Association.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa M. Leu, Medford; two sons, Lonnie A. Leu Jr., and Leslie Aaron Leu, both at home; his parents, Duane and Helen Leu, Abbotsford; one sister, Lisa (Allan) Eisner, Rib Lake; three brothers, Duane (Kristina) Leu, Colby, Lance (Jodi) Leu, Medford, and Linc Leu, Abbotsford; in-laws, Richard and Violet Godersky, Juneau; one brother-in-law, Thomas Godersky, Reeseville; one sister-in-law, Kim Skibbie, Florida; 11 nieces and nephews; relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one son, Landyn, in infancy, in 1992.

The Hemer Funeral Home, Medford, served the family.

Robert J. Rudolf
JUNEAU - Robert "Bob" J. Rudolf, formerly of Columbus, died on Sunday, March 17, 2002, as a result of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease, at Clearview Nursing Home, Juneau.

A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 20, at Fountain Prairie cemetery.

Mr. Rudolf was born the son of Alfred and Florence (Garrity) Rudolf in South Boston, Mass. He was married on March 26, 1969, to Francee O'Brion in Fall River.

Mr. Rudolf was employed by Holmes Tire and Supply Co., Madison; Aero Graphics and American Skyline Inc., as a commercial and aerial photographer.

Survivors include his loving and caring wife, Francee Rudolf, Sun Prairie; one son, James (Molly nee Mc Coy) Rudolf, St. Louis; one grandson, Benjamin Rudolf, St. Louis; eight brothers-in-law, David (Kathleen) O'Brion, Fall River, Richard O'Brion, Sun Prairie, Robert (Barb) O'Brion, Columbus, Ross (Kathy) O'Brion, Beaver Dam, Emmet (Chris) O'Brion, Fall River, H. Paul (Lynn) O'Brion, Portage, Lynn O'Brion, Madison, and Howard (Jane) O'Brion, Otsego; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; in-laws, Lester and Fanny O'Brion; two brothers-in-law, Alfred O'Brion and Louis O'Brion, and one sister-in-law, Yoshiko O'Brion;

There will be no visitation.
