Alice V. Zuehlke
Alice V. Zuehlke, 91, a resident of Hillside Manor, Beaver Dam, formerly of 313 W. Third St., Beaver Dam, died on Wednesday, April 24, 2002, at the manor.

The funeral will be held on Friday, April 26, at 11 a.m., at St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam. The Rev. David Bode will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery, Beaver Dam.

Mrs. Zuehlke was born on Aug. 1, 1910, in the town of Williamstown, the daughter of Paul and Matilda (Brandt) Callies. She was married on May 29, 1927, to John Zuehlke.

Mrs. Zuehlke farmed with her husband in the town of Calamus until 1943, when they moved to Beaver Dam. She was then employed at JCPenney for 24 years. She was a member of St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam.

Survivors include two daughters, Eunice (Bernard) Ferstl, Beaver Dam, and Doris (Jerome) Heller, Horicon; 22 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John, and three sisters, Linda Guenther, Verona Oehl, and Norma White.

Friends may call on Friday, April 26, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam.

Memorials may be made to St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam.

Roscoe H. Premo
RANDOLPH - Roscoe H. Premo, 84, a resident of Continental Manor, Randolph, formerly of rural Columbus, died on Wednesday, April 24, 2002, at the manor.

A combined Masonic and funeral service will be held on Friday, April 26, 2002, at 6 p.m., at Columbus United Methodist Church. The Rev. John Hobbins will officiate. Burial will be on Saturday, April 27, at 11 a.m., in Hillside cemetery, Columbus.

Mr. Premo was born on July 14, 1917, in the town of Sumpter, the son of Garth and Nora (Steidtman) Premo. He was married on June 5, 1943, to Betty Henke in Columbus.

Mr. Premo was a 1935 graduate of Prairie du Sac High School, where he lettered in football, baseball, basketball, and was elected Wisconsin's Healthiest Boy that same year. He was a 1940 graduate of UW-Madison, receiving a bachelor of science degree in agronomy. His family's farm was relocated to rural Columbus in 1942, to make way for Badger Ordnance in rural Baraboo. He was a lifelong farmer and former member of the Columbus Shipping Co-op and Columbus School Board. He was a 4-H leader for 25 years, a former member of the Columbus Masonic Lodge 75 F & AM, and a member of the Columbus United Methodist Church. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening.

Survivors include this wife, Betty Premo, Randolph; six sons, Jay (Hazel) Premo, Pardeeville, Jan Premo, Schaumburg, Ill., Gary Premo, Galen (Mary) Premo, both of Columbus, Kim (Pam) Premo, Elmhurst, Ill., and Kurt (Becky) Premo, Columbus; one daughter, Kara (Jim) Rake, Columbus; 19 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Ben (Mildred) Henke, Columbus; one sister-in-law, Mary Jane Premo, Columbus; one aunt, Jessie (Ed) Zuehlke, Columbus; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Rollin.

Friends may call on Friday, April 26, from 4 p.m. until the time of service at Columbus United Methodist Church.

Memorials may be made to the Columbus Community Hospital ER Project, or Columbus United Methodist Church.

Maxine M. Peterson
RIO - Maxine M. Peterson, 82, of Rio, died on Saturday, April 27, 2002, at Columbus Community Hospital.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 1, at noon, at Bonnet Prairie Lutheran Church, Rio. The Rev. Teri Forbes will officiate. Burial will be in the Ohio cemetery, Rio.

Mrs. Peterson was born on July 19, 1919, in the town of Buffalo, the daughter of William and Lenna (Radtke) Glover. She was married on June 10, 1943, to George N. Peterson in Markesan.

Mrs. Peterson was a 1937 graduate of Montello High School. She was a member of Bonnett Prairie Lutheran Church, Rio, for over 50 years and was active in many church functions.

Survivors include one son, John (Mary) Peterson, Rio; two daughters, Karen (Kelly) Bleich, Randolph, and Mary (Terry) Olrick, Rio; two brothers, William (Genrose) Glover, and Gerald (Lenore) Glover, both of Kingston; one sister, Jeanne (Duane) Dederich, Rio; three grandchildren; three sisters-in-law; relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George, on March 21, 1992; one brother, Gordon Glover, and one sister, Monna (Cecil) Goodman.

Friends may call on Wednesday, May 1, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the Vangen Funeral Home, Rio.

Lorraine P. Krueger
Lorraine P. Krueger, 78, of Beaver Dam, died on Monday, April 29, 2002, at Continental Manor, Randolph.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 1, at 11 a.m., at the Murray Community Funeral Home, Beaver Dam. The Rev. David Bode will officiate. Entombment will be in Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield.

Mrs. Krueger was born on Aug. 28, 1923, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Harry and Ida (Pausing) Walter. She was married to Harold Louis Krueger on Nov. 9, 1942, in Lakeland, Fla.

Mrs. Krueger was a 1942 graduate of Oshkosh High School. She lived in the Fond du Lac and Oshkosh area for the first part of her life. She also lived in Milwaukee from 1953 to 1985, working as a secretary at the Gerritt L.M. Berry Co. for 20 years. She was a member of the Calavey Church, Milwaukee. She moved to the Beaver Dam area in August 1985, where she has been a member of St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald Krueger, Menomonee Falls, and Barry (Sandra) Krueger, Eagle; one daughter, Barbara Krueger (Ray Kilzer), Sussex; five grandchildren, Jamie, Brian, Danielle, Beth and Adam; one sister-in-law, Loretta Galow, Oshkosh; relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold L. Krueger, on Aug. 1, 2001; one son, Daniel in 1982; one sister, Joyce, and one brother, Harry Walter.

Friends may call on Wednesday, May 1, from 10 to 11 a.m., at the Murray Community Funeral Home, Beaver Dam.

Memorials may be made to St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church, the Alzheimer Association or the American Heart Association.

Roger W. Kasmiskie
JANESVILLE - Roger W. Kasmiskie, 70, of 314 Glen St., Janesville, died on Sunday, April 28, 2002, at home.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, May 3, at 11 a.m., at St. Mary Catholic Church, Janesville. Msgr. Ray Kertz will officiate. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Catholic cemetery, Beaver Dam.

Mr. Kasmiskie was born on Aug. 11, 1931, in Springvale, the son of Albert and Mary (Maas) Kasmiskie He was married on Jan. 17, 1953, to Joyce B. Sabatke, in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Beaver Dam.

Mr. Kasmiskie was a decorated Korean War Army veteran and had been employed at Wisconsin Power and Light Co. He retired from the Janesville School System.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce; five children, Roxanne (Thomas) Grieco, Park Ridge, Ill., Ricardo (Carol) Kasmiskie, Plano, Texas, Kevin (Elizabeth) Kasmiskie, Edina, Minn., Kent (Jenny) Kasmiskie, Snellville, Ga., and David (Cindy) Kasmiskie, Overland Park, Kan.; 12 grandchildren; three brothers, Everett (Doris) Kasmiskie, Watertown, Albert (Irene) Kasmiskie, Watertown, and Gordon (Georgia) Kasmiskie, Cambria.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call on Friday, May 3, from 9 a.m. until the time of service, at St. Mary Church, Janesville.

Margaret T. Rowlands
WATERTOWN - Margaret T. Rowlands, 70, of 1503 S. 10th St., Watertown, died on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, at Beverly Terrace, Watertown.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 5, at 7 p.m., at the Hafemeister Funeral Home, Watertown. The Rev. Barbara Berg of Watertown Moravian Church will officiate. Burial will be in Watertown Moravian cemetery.

Mrs. Rowlands was born on June 23, 1931, in Watertown, the daughter of Harvey and Elizabeth (Adams) Miller. She was married to Roger Rowlands on Sept. 14, 1968, in Watertown.

Mrs. Rowlands retired from Lindberg, Watertown, after 25 years of employment and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Watertown Moravian Church. She enjoyed knitting and crossword puzzles and most of all enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband Roger Rowlands, Watertown; four daughters, Kathy (Jim) Bosch, Patti (Paul) Bratz, Sheri Elmer, and Tina (Brian) Rowlands-Lueck; one son, James Behm; and one son-in-law, Jim McKee, all of Watertown; one brother, Raymond (Shelby) Miller, Beaver Dam; one sister, Josie Fernholz, Watertown; 10 grandchildren, Jay (Cathy) Bosch, Paul Bratz, Jenny (Patrick) Kruesel, Jason and Jamie Elmer, Tim, Aaron and Ryan McKee, and Sara and Elisa Behm; two great-grandchildren Courtney and Camerin Kruesel; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Linda McKee; one sister, Agnes Miller, and two brothers, Peter and Martin Miller.

Friends may call on Tuesday, Feb. 5, from 3 p.m. until the time of service at Hafemeister Funeral Home, Watertown.

Edwin A. Buchholz
WAUPUN - Edwin A. Buchholz, 87, formerly of Waupun, died on Friday, Feb. 1, 2002, at All About Life Rehabilitation Center, Fond du Lac.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 5, at 11 a.m., at Kohls Community Funeral Home, Waupun. The Revs. Leonard Buchholz and Roger Knowlton will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens, town of Trenton.

Mr. Buchholz was born on May 16, 1914, in the town of Empire, the son of Arthur and Martha (Roeder) Buchholz. He was married on Dec. 31, 1938, to Mary Hughes in Pickett.

Mr. Buchholz was a lifelong resident of the Waupun area. He owned and operated a local dairy farm. He was a former member of the NFO and a former seed salesman for the Jacques Seed Company.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Buchholz, Waupun; nine children, Roland (Joyce) Buchholz, Marvin (Kathleen) Buchholz, both of Waupun, Leonard (Karen) Buchholz, Albuquerque, N.M., Charles (Virginia) Buchholz, Wayne (Linda) Buchholz, both of Waupun, James (Karilynn) Buchholz, Brandon, Carl (Lisa) Buchholz, Minnesota, Gloria (Jeffrey) Etheridge, Appleton, and Joan, (Bill) Schmidt, Fox Lake; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Eileen Pinch, Fond du Lac, and Bernice (Joe) Heiser, Florida; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Lyle Buchholz.

Mary E. Daniels
Mary E. Daniels, 91, of 329 Grove St., Beaver Dam, died on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002, at the Beaver Dam Care Center.

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, Feb. 4, at 11 a.m., at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Beaver Dam. The Rev. William Key officiated. Burial was in St. Peter's Catholic cemetery, Beaver Dam.

Mrs. Daniels was born on Sept. 22, 1910, in Watertown, the daughter of Emil and Clara (Meitner) Huebel. She was married on June 10, 1930, to Lloyd A. Daniels.

Mrs. Daniels was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Beaver Dam.

Survivors include one daughter, Dorothy (Charles) Behm, Beaver Dam; one son, Jim (Joan) Daniels, Beaver Dam; two sons-in-law, Henry Sherman, Juneau, and Leo Zuehlke, Beaver Dam; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd; two daughters, Katherine Zuehlke and Mary Jane Sherman; one brother, Raymond, and two sisters, Elizabeth and Thecla.

Friends called on Monday, Feb. 4, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Beaver Dam. The Koepsell Funeral Home, Beaver Dam, served the family.

Carl J. Fellwock
HORICON - Carl J. Fellwock, 48, of 820 Minerva St., Horicon, died on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002, at Beaver Dam Community Hospital.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 6, at 11 a.m. at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville. The Rev. Daniel Seehafer will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery, Horicon.

Mr. Fellwock was born on July 28, 1953, in Beaver Dam, the son of Howard and Josephine (Schultz) Fellwock.

Mr. Fellwock was a 1972 graduate of Horicon High School. He was a former employee of MEC, and most recently employed with the U.S. Postal Service, Madison. He was a former member of St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church, Horicon. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He was an avid Packers fan and enjoyed many drum and bugle corps competitions. He loved traveling with his backpack.

Survivors include one sister, Arlene Dudley, Mayville; one niece, Gretchen (Randy) Wolfmeyer, St. Louis, Mo.; relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Friends may call on Wednesday, Feb. 6, from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville.

Memorials may be made to St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, Horicon, or Immanuel Lutheran Church (River Church), rural Mayville.

Guyla V. VandeBerg
PEYTON, Colo. - Guyla V. VandeBerg, 90, of 3740 Pheasant Lane, Peyton, Colo., died on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2002.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 15, at Highland Memory Gardens, town of Trenton.

Mrs. VandeBerg was born on Feb. 27, 1911, in Granton, the daughter of Lyndon Dale and Lois Asenath (Davis) Lee. She was married to John C. VandeBerg.

Mrs. VandeBerg was a housewife and mother. She and her husband were members of Trinity Methodist Church, Beaver Dam.

Survivors include one daughter, Joanne Duxbury, Peyton, Colo.; one son, Al (Patty) VandeBerg, Beaver Dam; four granddaughters, Lana (Don) Stenger, Angela (Darren) Pierce, Brande (Clay) Chappelow, and Dawn VandeBerg; one grandson, Steven Zellmer; four great-granddaughters; four great-grandsons; relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John, on Oct. 25, 1977; one grandson, Jeffery Allen, in 1985, and one sister, Edna VandeBerg, in 2001.
