Rose M. Brooke
Rose M. Brooke, 50, of Beaver Dam, died on Wednesday, April 30, 2003, at her home.

The funeral will be held on Monday, May 5, at 11 a.m., at St. Stephens Ev. Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam.

The Rev. Philip Heyer will officiate.

Burial will be in Randolph Village cemetery.

Rose was born on April 17, 1953, in Racine, the daughter of Floyd and Dorothy Otto.

Rose was a 1972 graduate of J.I. Case High School, Racine.

She worked at Burger King in Beaver Dam for over 9 years.

She received many awards for participating in the Special Olympics.

She was very proud of her crocheting and had received many blue ribbons at the Dodge county Fair for her crocheted dolls.

She loved to go bowling, and enjoyed her time on the computer, she also enjoyed going to the Special Touch Ministries.

She was especially fond of her cat, Punky.

She was a member of St. Stephens Ev. Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam.

Survivors include her father, Floyd Otto, Beaver Dam; brothers and sister, Donald Brooke, Belen, N.M., Edward (Tammy) Brooke, Columbus, June (James) Panasuk, Greenfield, Richard (Cindy) Brooke, Beaver Dam, Debbie (John) Lingford, Wausau, and Tina (Duane) Sauer, Neshkoro; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Otto on May 13, 2002.

Friends may call on Sunday, May 4, from 4 to 6 p.m., at the Murray Community Funeral Home, Beaver Dam, and on Monday, May 5, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the St. Stephens Ev. Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam.

Memorials may be made in Roses name to several charities.

The Murray Community Funeral Home, Beaver Dam, is serving the family.

Raymond A. Geschke
MAYVILLE - Raymond A Geschke, 73, of 627 N. Main St., Mayville, died on Thursday, May 1, 2003, at Beaver Dam Community Hospital.

There will be no funeral service.

Raymond was born on Oct. 2, 1929, in Theresa, the son of Harry Sr. and Leona (Wendegatz) Geschke.

Raymond was a farmer in the Theresa area, and was also employed at the Theresa Feed Mill.

He enjoyed camping and loved his cat Bud.

Survivors include three brothers, Gilbert (Elaine) Geschke, LeRoy, Harry (Rosie) Geschke, Theresa, and Charles (Sharon) Geschke, Horicon; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Waldemar.

Friends may call on Sunday, May 4, from noon to 1 p.m., at the Koespell Funeral Home, Mayville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to ones own choice.

Joe Sjoerdsma
RANDOLPH - Joe Sjoerdsma, 80, of Randolph, died on Wednesday, April 30, 2003, at Beaver Dam Community Hospital.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, May 3, at 1 p.m., at the Second Christian Reformed Church of Randolph.

The Rev. Donald Boss will officiate.

Burial will be in Forest Mound cemetery, Waupun, with full military honors provided by the American Legion Post 521 of Fox Lake.

Joe was born on Feb. 28, 1923, in the town of Randolph, Columbia County, the son of Adrian and Anna (Kramer) Sjoerdsma.

He was married to Junice (Vant Hoff) on May 26, 1950, she preceded him in death on March 13, 1983.

He was married to Shirley (VandeZande) Sjoerdsma on Aug. 8, 1987, in Waupun.

Joe was a member of the Second Christian Reformed Church of Randolph.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 521 of Fox Lake.

He served his country during World War II with the U.S. Army in Japan.

He was formerly employed with M&M Grey Iron Foundry of Waupun for 30 years.

He was an avid gardener.

Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Shirley Sjoerdsma; one daughter, Jean (Robert) Barbagelata, San Mateo, Calif.; one grandson, Robert Joseph Barbagelata; four step-children, Glen (Cheryl) Sjoerdsma, David (Sharon) Sjoerdsma, both of Randolph, Louise (Dennis) Dykstra, Friesland, and Ellen (John) Dekker, Zillah, Wash.; 10 step-grandchildren, Rochelle (Andrew) Budzinski, Christopher, Rudy, and Tara Sjoerdsma, Robert, Jane and Mark Sjoerdsma, and David, Ruth and Benjamin Dekker; two step-great-granddaughters, Caitlyn and Breanna Budzinski.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Theodore and Clarence Sjoerdsma.

Friends may call on Friday, May 2, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Second Reformed Christian Church of Randolph, 332 Tamarack St., Randolph, and on Saturday, May 3, from noon until the time of service at the church.

A memorial will be established in Joes name.

The Randolph Community Funeral Home, Randolph, is serving the family.

Rose T. Schmidbauer
LEROY - Rose T. Schmidbauer, 86, formerly of LeRoy, died on Wednesday, April 30, 2003, at Parkview Health Center, Oshkosh.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 2, at 3 p.m., at St. Andrew Catholic Church, LeRoy. The Rev. Charles Wester will officiate. Burial will be in St. Andrew cemetery, LeRoy.

Rose was born on March 14, 1917 in Neda, the son of William and Anna (Kollmansberger) Adelmeyer. She was married to Joseph "Jess" Schmidbauer on Aug. 20, 1935, in Mayville.

Rose was employed as a cook at Hope Nursing Home, Lomira, and Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Fond du Lac. She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, LeRoy; a member of St. Andrew Christian Mothers, and a member of St. Andrew Daughters of Isabella.

Survivors include one daughter, Sherlee (Peter) Feyen, Oshkosh; one sister, Marie (Emil G.) Persha, Browns Corners; two granddaughters, Becky Feyen, Green Lake, and Amy (Joe) Blanchard, Appleton; one great-grandson, Joe Blanchard III; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph in 1988; two brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call on Friday, May 2, from 2 to 3 p.m., at St. Andrew Catholic Church, LeRoy.

The Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville, is serving the family.

Greg J. Thomson
HORICON - Greg J. Thomson, 53, of Horicon, died on Monday, April 28, 2003, at Beaver Dam Community Hospital.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, May 1, at 7 p.m., at the Murray Community Funeral Home, Beaver Dam.

Cremation will follow the service.

Greg was born on June 9, 1949, in Milwaukee.

He was married to Chris Listwan on Nov. 28, 1970, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Milwaukee.

Greg was a 1967 graduate of Pius XI High School in Milwaukee.

He was a graduate of UW-River Falls.

He lived in Clintonville for many years and worked for the cooperative as the fertilizer manager in the area.

He was also a sales rep for the Cenex Land O Lakes of Central Wisconsin.

For the past four years he was the vice president of agronomy sales and marketing at the United Cooperative in Beaver Dam.

He was an avid golfer, hunter, and enjoyed life to its fullest.

He was a very big Green Bay Packer fan.

He was active in his children's and grandchildren's lives, and was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather.

Survivors include his wife, Chris Thomson, Horicon; three children, Tracy (Joel) Opperman, Green Bay, Paul Thomson, Seymour, and Brian Thomson, Green Bay; two grandsons, Caleb and Mitchell Opperman; one brother, Glenn (Debbie) Thomson, West Bend; four sisters, Chris (Gordon) Justis, Virginia, Carol (Ed) Doelker, Washington, Teresa (Burton) Cox, Portage, and Mary Jo (Johnny) Magaw, Arizona; his mother-in-law, Mary Listwan, Milwaukee; special friends, Steve and Jean Bagin, Hartland; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, George Listwan.

Friends may call on Thursday, May 1, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Murray Community Funeral Home, Beaver Dam.

The Murray Community Funeral Home, Beaver Dam, is serving the family.

A memorial Mass is pending for Friday, March 28, at 1 p.m., at St. Jerome's Catholic Church, Columbus.

Grace Pfalzgraf, 84, of 1091 Horicon St., Mayville, died on Sunday, April 27, 2003, at Clearview Nursing Home, Juneau.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 30, at 11 a.m., at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Mayville.

Friends may call on Tuesday, April 29, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville, and on Wednesday, April 30, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Mayville.
