Donald G. Walworth
MUSKEGO - Donald G. Walworth, of Muskego, formerly of Glendale, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 14. He was 85.

Donald was the beloved husband of 60 years to Adelheid (nee Eckstein). He was also loving father of Philip (Denise) Walworth and Raymond (Linda Kaye) Walworth; proud grandfather of Scott, Matthew and Tracey Walworth; dear brother of Harvey (Evelyn) Walworth, Helen Bines and Doris Gruechow; dear brother-in-law of Hildegard (William) Seaman. Donald is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday after 4 p.m. at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church, S66 W14225 Janesville Road, Muskego. The service will be held at 7 p.m. A private internment service will be held at Wisconsin Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society or St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church are appreciated.

Bessie Irene Andringa
NORTH PRAIRIE - Bessie Irene (nee McKenzie) Andringa, 95, died Friday, Sept 15, 2000, at LindenGrove Health Care Center in Waukesha.

She was born May 27, 1905, in Arena to William and Mary McKenzie. She was a longtime resident of North Prairie. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the North Prairie United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her children, Cornelius G. (Patricia) Andringa of Waukesha; Nancy Lee (Dr. Dean) Furry of Durango, Colo.; Dr. Conrad L. (Phyllis) Andringa of Madison and Dr. Richard C. (Fancy) Andringa of Greensboro, N.C. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, Kathryn T. (Mark) Munnik; Eric C. (Barbara) Andringa; Bryan J. Andringa; Barbara L. (Tom) Smith; Timothy J. (Robin) Andringa; Mark P. (Alaina) Andringa; Dr. Kimberly L. Furry (Mike Sigman) of Durango; Susan M. (John M.) Steigelman of Farmington, N.M.; Tanya D. Furry of Durango; Brad Furry of Farmington; Sandy (Kelly J.) Meuer of Madison; Conrad Jeffrey (Pamela) Andringa of Louiseville, Colo.; Lisa (Todd T.) McCarville of Madison; Robert W. (Christi) Andringa of Madison; Deborah (Phil) Pine of Bethesda, Md.; Gordon M. Andringa of Bethesda; Katherine B. Andringa of Bethesda and Ashley, Katie, Peter, Whitney, Heidi and Kevin Andringa, all of Greensboro. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren and brother John William (Avis) McKenzie of North Prairie.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Cornelius Andringa, who died in 1971; son, Calvin B. (Patricia) Andringa of Bethesda; brothers, Clark and Edward McKenzie; and sister, Evelyn McKenzie Oberholtzer.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2000, at the North Prairie United Methodist Church in North Prairie. The Rev. Ron Kral will officiate with burial in the North Prairie cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Sept. 18, 2000, at Mealy’s Funeral Home, 103 Eagle St. in Eagle, 594-2442.

Memorials to the North Prairie United Methodist Church or to the charity of the donor’s choice are appreciated.

Laurie Jensen
WAUKESHA - Laurie Jensen, of Waukesha, died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2000, at her home at the age of 40. Laurie was born in Milwaukee on Nov. 20, 1959, to Alfred and Patricia Jensen.

She is survived by her parents, Alfred and Patricia of Groveland, Fla.; her son, David Dickinson of Waukesha; her brother Kevin A. (Nancy) Jensen of Peoria, Ariz.; a sister, Linda S. Krohn of Indian Town, Fla.; and her grandmother, Inez Berry of Amherst.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. until the 3 p.m. funeral service on Tuesday, Sept. 19, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave. Burial of cremated remains will be in Amherst at a later date.

Janice J. LeBeau
BEAVER DAM - Janice J. LeBeau, 47, of Beaver Dam, died Friday, Sept. 15, 2000, at University Hospital in Madison. She was born in Beloit on July 26, 1953, the daughter of Orville and Joye (nee Damon) Green. On Jan. 20, 1973, she married Craig LeBeau in Milton.

Mrs. LeBeau was a resident of Beaver Dam since 1981. She worked for the Woolco, Copps and Herbergers stores, and then co-owned the Mother-To-Be maternity shop from 1989 to 1991. She then worked as real estate agent at Century 21 in Beaver Dam, the Dodge Central Credit Union, and most recently was the branch office administrator at the Edward Jones office in Mayville. She was a past Worthy Advisor of Rainbow for Girls in Beliot, and the past Worthy Matron of Phoenix Chapter #215 O.E.S. of Beloit. She was active in the Beaver Dam School District, serving as past president and housing coordinator of AFS, and was a charter member and treasurer of the Beaver Dam Booster Club for 12 years. She was also involved in the Marais Players of Mayville, served as the secretary of the State of Wisconsin Amateur Softball Association for five years and as the commissioner of Little League baseball for 4 years.

Janice was a member of First Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam, the New Spirit singing group, and was active in the youth ministry programs of the church, including the Sunday School Ministry, the Youth Council, and serving as coordinator for the ELCA Youth Gathering in Atlanta.

She is lovingly survived by her husband, Craig LeBeau of Beaver Dam; her children, Chad (Debbie) LeBeau of Beaver Dam and Mindy LeBeau of Waukesha; her mother, Joye Green of Brooksville, Fla.; her nephews, Scott Green and Tim Green, both of Alexandria, Va.; and her AFS daughter, Elena Albani of Lohne, Germany. She is further survived by other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Orville Green, in 1996; and her brothers, Jerry Green in 1994 and Douglas Green in 1950.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. until the 7 p.m. funeral service Wednesday, Sept. 20, at the First Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in the name of the family.

Vicki E. Leistiko
TOWN OF GENESEE - Vicki E. Leistiko, of the town of Genesee, died Saturday, Sept. 16, 2000, at the age of 48. She was born Nov. 8, 1951, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Earl and Rose (nee Ziebrowski) Nuetzel.

Vicki graduated from South Division High School in Milwaukee in Milwaukee. She worked for 10 years for Lake Country Fabricators in Wales where she was co-owner. She loved her dog, Cocoa, and enjoyed bow hunting. She is especially remembered for her love of animals and children and her unselfishness.

Vicki is the beloved wife of Richard Leistiko, whom she married on May 22, 1971, in North Prairie. She is the dear mother of Robert (Jenny) Leistiko of Jefferson and Randy (Erica) Leistiko of Eagle. She is also survived by, Sharon (Ron) Rohrmayer of Dousman, Gene (Debbie) Nuetzel of Knoxville, Tenn., Brian Nuetzel of Milwaukee, Lili (Mike) Jankowski of Anchorage, Alaska, and Christie (Mike) Radmer of Waukesha. Also surviving are other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Nuetzel.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. Stanley J. Masalewicz
WAUKESHA - Stanley J. "Stag" Masalewicz was born to eternal life on Sunday, Sept. 17, 2000, at the age of 80. He was born Nov. 14, 1919, in Milwaukee to Andrew and Julia (nee Lepak) Masalewicz. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army in the European, African and Middle Eastern Theater. On March 14, 1945, he married the former Agnes Lipinski, who survives him. He retired in 1976 after 31 years of service at American Motors, where he as a member of the United Auto Workers Local 75, a longtime treasurer of the Retiree Chapter, and was on the board of directors. He was a member of American Legion Post 427 in New Berlin and former associate member of VVA Chapter 414, Waukesha. He was a graduate of South Division High School in Milwaukee.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Agnes, of Waukesha, and their son, Jan (Fawn) Masalewicz of Waukesha; two grandchildren, Corey (Tracy) Masalewicz of Oconomowoc and Buffy (Steve) Wisniewski of Waukesha; and two great-grandchildren, Gunner and Dakota Masalewicz. Also surviving are his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph and his stepmother, Helen Malak.

Friends may call Wednesday, Sept. 20, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with the funeral services at 7:30 p.m. at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave. The Rev. Timothy Bruss is officiating. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial cemetery in Union Grove. Please meet at the cemetery.

David L. Totzke
OCONOMOWOC - David L. Totzke, 54, died Saturday, Sept. 16, 2000, at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital. He was born in Michigan on Sept. 14, 1946, the son of Lewis Totzke and Amelia Ruthsatz.

David received his masters in business administration from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Mich. On May 13, 1972, he married Jean Simkins in Allegan, Mich. He was a member of Jerusalem Presbyterian Church in Wales.

David is lovingly survived by his wife, Jean; his children, Amy (Rich) Calteux of Muskego and Mark Totzke of Madison; his uncle and aunt, Vere and Adeline Geisler of St. Josephs, Mich.; and other relatives and very special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. today, Sept. 19, at the Pagenkopf Funeral Home, 1165 E. Summit Ave., Oconomowoc, and from 1:30 p.m. until the 3 p.m funeral service on Wednesday, Sept. 20, at Jerusalem Presbyterian Church, 207 Main St., Wales. The Rev. Al Nichols will officiate. Interment will be at Salem cemetery in Wales.

Memorials to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association are appreciated.

Catherine I. White
WAUKESHA - Waukesha resident Catherine I. White died Friday, Sept. 15, 2000, at Froedtert Memorial Hospital. She was 42. She was born Jan. 28, 1958, in Waukesha to JoAnn (nee Hanan) and the late Edward F. White. She provided health care for many years in the Waukesha area.

She will be sadly missed by her mother JoAnn White of Waukesha and her daughter Melissa M. Kesy of Waukesha. She was the beloved sister of Judith A. (Richard) Dietsche and Martin (Linda) White, both of Waukesha, Carol (Bill) Jenkins of northern Wisconsin, Gerald White of Waukesha and Lynn (Jim) Bales of Mukwonago. She is further survived by her sister-in-law Nancy White of Waukesha and her loving companion in life Craig Shorts; uncles Everett White of San Diego, James (Tammy) Hanan of Ogden, Utah, Richard (Karen) Hanan of Pewaukee and Kevin (Laura) Hanan of Sussex; aunts Pat Gurtner of Brookfield and Donna Hanan of Wauwatosa; and nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Edward F. White in 1994, brother Steven F. White on May 27, 2000, grandparents Dallas and Lucille Hanan and Irene and Bob White.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave. in Waukesha. The Rev. Glen Graczyk will officiate. Agnes R. Wiesenthal
WAUKESHA - Lifelong resident Agnes R. Wiesenthal, 84, died Sunday, Sept. 17, 2000, at Virginia Health and Rehab. Mrs. Wiesenthal was born in Waukesha on May 3, 1916, to George J. and Theresa (nee Tobisch) Schober. She is a graduate of Waukesha High School and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she was active in the Christian Womens Association. She was employed at Bordens Dairy and at Delzer Lithography in Waukesha.

She will be sadly missed by her son Robert D. Wiesenthal and daughter Nancy A. Manley, both of Waukesha; ten grandchildren, Jon Wiesenthal, Monica Rhodes, Tom Wiesenthal, Amie Hansen, Joe Bell, Robert Bell, John Bell, Linus Bell, James Bell and Beth Whiteside; and ten great-grandchildren, Lauren Taylor Rhodes, Kelly Bell, Justin Bell, Nick Bell, Jeremiah Bell, Zachary Bell, Orion Bell, Adam Bell, Rebecca Whiteside and Donald Whiteside. She is further survived by her sister Mary Gottschalk and brother James Schober, both of Waukesha and her lifelong friend Donna Gebhardt of Waukesha. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert J. Wiesenthal and sister Gert Bornheimer and her parents.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, 2000, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. An 11 a.m. funeral Mass will follow. Burial follows the funeral Mass at St. Joseph cemetery. David Conrad Akemann
PEWAUKEE - David Conrad Akemann, born June 25, 1929, died Monday, Sept. 18, 2000, at the age of 71.

He is survived by his wife, Claire (nee MacFall), and his children, Barbara (Thomas) Emmerich, Neil Akemann and Sharon (Steven) Vespested. He is further survived by his grandsons, Peter, David and Kevin Emmerich, and his sister, Ruth Ann (Joseph) Kolaga.

Mr. Akemann was a founding and charter member of Brookfield Congregational United Church of Christ. He was a member at large of the Executive Committee of the Southeastern Association of United Church of Christ; a past officer of the Pewaukee Yacht Club; past president of the Waukesha Symphony Orchestra; a member of the American Philatelic Society, the American Diabetes Association, Wisconsin Kidney Foundation and the American Legion; a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps; a Marquette University alumnus and past member and performer with the Lake Country Players.

His local employment included vice president of operations at Generac Corporation and operations manager at the Perlick Company. He also owned several small businesses in the printing field.

His interests included stamp and coin collecting, model making and geneology. An adventurer, the Akemanns traveled widely in the past 15 years, visiting over 60 countries.

Mr. Akemann considered the founding of Brookfield Congregational Church in 1956 to be his greatest achievement. He served in every position in the church structure and sang in the choir for 40 years.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22, at Brookfield Congregational Church, 16350 Gebhardt Road. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, at Harder Funeral Home Brookfield, 18700 W. Capitol Drive. A private interment will be held at Wisconsin Memorial Park.

Memorials to the church or the Wisconsin Kidney Foundation are appreciated.

Kathleen E. Holt
DELAFIELD - Kathleen E. Holt (nee Doyle), of Delafield, found peace Monday, Sept. 18, 2000, at the age of 78.

Kathleen was the beloved wife of Carl for 60 years; loving mother of Wendy Warden of Australia and Timothy (Kim) Holt of Delafield; and proud grandmother of Colleen Warden and Matthew and Justin Holt. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Daniel Warden.

Kathleen and Carl were owners of Holt’s Magazine Store on Moreland Boulevard in Waukesha for 32 years and Kathleen attended St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Waukesha.

Visitation will be held after 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 120 Nashotah Road, Nashotah, with the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Delafield cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Heart Association are appreciated.

Antonio Martinez Sr.
WAUKESHA - Antonio Martinez Sr., of Waukesha, died Monday, Sept. 18, 2000, at the age of 67.

He was the beloved husband of Olga (nee Castro), and the loving father of Fernando (Gilda), Ruben (Diane), Roy, Patricia (Tone), Ronald, Roland, Belinda and Antonio Jr. (Lori). He is further survived by 18 grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

A memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on a later date.

Wayne M. Jacobs
ELKHORN - Wayne M. Jacobs, 75, of Elkhorn, died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2000, at his residence. Wayne was born July 21, 1925, on the family farm in rural Walworth County, the son of Edward Louis and Emma (Stobber) Jacobs. He married Viola Schultz on April 28, 1945, in East Troy.

Wayne worked for over 23 years as a patrolman with the Walworth County Highway Department, retiring on Jan. 3, 1990. Wayne was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Elkhorn.

He is survived by his wife, Viola; four children, Judith Dill of Warner Robins, Ga., Joy (William) Krueger of Elkhorn, Glenn (Anna) Jacobs of Waukesha and Jeanette Jacobs of Elkhorn; seven grandchildren, Kimberly, Julie, Paula, Tanya, Jennifer, Jeffrey, and Jeremy; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Robert; and one sister, Dorothy.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, at First Evangelical Lutheran Church at the corner of Devendorf and Centralia streets in Elkhorn; the Rev. Kurt Grunewald officiating. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22, at the church. Burial will be at Roselawn Memory Gardens in the town of Delavan.

Memorials may be made to the church or VNA-Hospice of Lake Geneva.

Harold Ramge
ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - Harold Ramge of St. Augustine, Fla., formerly of New Berlin, died Friday, Sept. 15, 2000, at the age of 86. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys.

He was the dear father of Carole (J.D.) Price, Steven (Patricia), Michael (Mary), Frederick (Jane) and Rick (Sharon). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a sister, Mildred Nissen.

Harold served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was the founder of Challenger Battery Inc. in 1952 in Waukesha.

Visitation will be held after 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, at the Larsen Bros. New Berlin Funeral Home, 15250 W. National Ave. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.

Memorials in Harold’s memory may be directed to the World War II Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.
