GLENVILLE -- Bonnie Collins, 83, of Glenville, died at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, 1999, at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital, Weston, following an extended illness.
She was born Dec. 28, 1915, in Detroit, Mich., a daughter of the late George and Olive Craber Wilder. Her husband, Hayden A. Collins, whom she married on Feb. 2, 1942, preceded her in death on Jan. 12, 1978.
Surviving are one daughter, Marietta "Pug" Collins, one son, Roy "Buzz" Collins, both of Glenville; one sister, Eldora Williams, Oregon; and two grandchildren, James Russell Collins and Casey Andrew Collins, both of Glenville.
Mrs. Collins was a homemaker and Baptist.
Cecile F. Fluharty
MIDDLEBOURNE -- Cecile F. Fluharty, 86, of Santee, S.C., a former Tyler County resident, died Monday, April 12, 1999, in Santee. She was a daughter of the late Arch Cecil and Florence Smith Moore.
Surviving are two sons, Phillip Fluharty, Atoka, Tenn., and Donald Fluharty, and one daughter, Mrs. James (Caroline) Genewick, all of Santee; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, H. Paul Moore, two sisters, Camella Conaway and Autumn Ash and three grandchildren.
Ms. Fluharty was a retired office manager of Boy Scouts of America, Clarksburg. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Daughters of the War of 1812, and Colonial Dames. She was an avid genealogist.
Jeffrey A. Leggett
Jeffrey A. Leggett, 44, of Martic Township, Holtwood, Pa., died Saturday, April 10, 1999, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born Oct. 3, 1954, in Clarksburg, a son of Donald F. Leggett, Senaca Drive, Clarksburg, and the late Juanita Jean Vernon Leggett.
Also surviving are his stepmother, Peggy Hill Leggett and wife, Miriam Peterson Leggett; one son and daughter, Zadok M. and Kelleigh D. Leggett, both at home; his mother-in-law, Betty Mae Peterson, Salem, Ore.; several cousins. He was also preceded in death by one son, Micah G. Leggett, who died in the same automobile accident.
Mr. Leggett graduated from the former Roosevelt-Wilson High School, was a 1977 graduate of Fairmont State College and also graduated from the Dick Grove Music College and the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, Calif.
He was a member of the New Covenant Community Church in Delta, Pa., and was a Scoutmaster of Troop No. 97, Boy Scouts of America.
He was a bass player with a Lancaster area band, "Matters of the Heart." He was a construction safety consultant for High Safety Consultant Services.
Friends were received at DeWald Funeral Home, 144 E. St., Quarryville, Pa., from 6-9 p.m. Thursday. A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. today in the New Covenant Community Church, Delta, Pa. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the West Union Masonic cemetery, Doddridge County, with the Rev. D.D. Meighen and the Rev. Lanny Kilgore presiding.

Micah G. Leggett
Micah G. Leggett, 11, of Martic Township, Holtwood, Pa., died Saturday, April 10, 1999, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born Aug. 15, 1987, in Clarksburg, a son of Miriam Peterson Leggett and the late Jeffrey A. Leggett, who died in the same automobile accident.
Also surviving are his twin sister, Kelleigh D. Leggett and one brother, Zadok M. Leggett, both at home; his paternal grandparents, Donald F. and Peggy Leggett, Seneca Drive, Clarksburg; and his maternal grandmother, Betty Mae Peterson, Salem, Ore. He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Juanita Jean Vernon Leggett.
Micah was a fifth grade student in Martic Elementary School and attended the New Covenant Community Church in Delta, Pa. He was a member of Troop No. 97, Boy Scouts of America and the Conestoga swim team.

Madeline M. Mace
SUTTON -- Madeline Maxine Mace, 75, of Gassaway, died Wednesday, April 14, 1999, at the home of a daughter following an extended illness. She was born Aug. 6, 1923, in Braxton County, a daughter of the late Lon and Myrtle Lee Hamner Green.
Surviving are four sons, Dana Wood, Lambertville, N.J., David Mace, Burnville, Ronnie Mace, Akron, Ohio, and Charles Mace, Williamsburg, Va.; three daughters, Carla Creed, Volga, at whose home she died, Marie Mace, Wilsie, and Mildred Burkhammer, Weston; one brother, Bill Green, Sutton; three sisters, Alice Scott, Cedarville, Bonnie Steever, Lambertville, N.J., and Oleta Green, Gassaway; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Charlotte Clevenger and Sharon Jean Mace, one brother, Percy Green and two sisters, Freda Brady and Etta Baughman.
Ms. Mace was a homemaker.
John F. Sisler Jr.
PENNSBORO -- John Franklin Sisler Jr., died Wednesday, April 14, 1999, at Women's and Childrens Hospital, Charleston. He was born April 13, 1999, in Charleston, a son of John Franklin Sisler Sr. and Dana McCloy Sisler.
Also surviving are one brother, Branden Sisler, Pennsboro; one sister, Darlene McCloy, Harrisville; his paternal grandparents, Frank and Martha Sisler, Clarksburg; and his maternal grandparents, Elmer and Eula Robinson, Pennsboro.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Mount Harmony Masonic cemetery, Pennsboro.
Betty L. Strait
SHINNSTON -- Betty Lou Price Strait, 70, of Willard community, near Shinnston, died Thursday, April 5, 1999, following an extended illness. She was born Nov. 8, 1928, in Willard, a daughter of the late Ogden W. and Audra Jane Rittenhouse Price. Her husband, Kenneth A. Strait, whom she married July 1, 1950, survives.
Also surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Rodney and Kimberly Strait and Steven and Sharon Strait, all of Shinnston; and three grandchildren, Scott, Shae and Meagan Strait.
Mrs. Strait was formerly employed by G.C. Murphy Co. for over 25 years, and was the co-owner and operator of Bridgeport Television until 1990.
She was a lifetime member of the Owings United Methodist Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher and youth leader.
She was a former member of the Woman's Club, a graduate of Shinnston High School in 1947 and was a member of the Shinnston High School Alumni Association.
Friends may call at Harmer Funeral Home, Shinnston, from 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Shinnston Masonic cemetery.
Clifford C. Talkington
GRANTSVILLE -- Clifford Cloyd "Tinker" Talkington, 77, of Glenville, died Wednesday, April 14, 1999, at Sunrise Health and Rehabilitation Center, Glenville.
He was born in Doddridge County, a son of the late John Harley and Eva Ethel Swiger Talkington. His wife, Mrs. Evelyn Louise Talkington, preceded him in death.
Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Donna K. and John Brannon, Normantown; one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Maryann Talkington, Greenwood; three brothers, Dwight Talkington, Pennsboro, Dean Talkington, East Liverpool, Ohio, and Dewayne Talkington, Pittsburgh, Pa.; two sisters, Willa Lee Tice, East Liverpool, and Janice Stanley, Gambills, Md.; four grandchildren, one stepgrandchild, two great-grandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by two brothers.
Mr. Talkington retired from Carnegie Natural Gas Co., with 37 years of service. He was a member of the Little Kanawha Independent Baptist Church, Burnsville.
Edwin K. Fultz
Edwin K. Fultz, 64, of Clarksburg, formerly of Beckley, died at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, 1999, at United Hospital Center, Clarksburg. He was born Dec. 6, 1934, in Harrison County, a son of the late Ernest Fultz and Wilma Findley Fultz.
Surviving is his wife, Margaret J. Fultz.
Also surviving are one daughter, Erin Fultz, Clarksburg; five brothers, Wendell E. Fultz and sister-in-law, Josephine Fultz, Clarksburg, Waldo G. Fultz, Salem, Ellis Robert Fultz, Warren D. Fultz and Walter Fultz, all of Clarksburg; one sister, Willa Lee Gum, Salem; a special friend, Inez "Woody" Woodford, Bridgeport; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Edith Nesselrotte.
Mr. Fultz was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force with whom he had been employed and retired known as "Aeromech." He was a master craftsman and member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was Protestant.
There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Bartolo Funeral Home in Clarksburg is in charge of arrangements.
Perry H. McQuain
MARYSVILLE, Ohio -- Perry Hugh McQuain, 87, of Troy, died Thursday, April 15, 1999, at Union Manor Nursing Home, Marysville. He was born Oct. 24, 1911, in Troy, W.Va., a son of the late Thomas C. McQuain and Jessie Lewis.
Surviving are nieces and nephews, Mariam Looker, Beloit, Wis., Jesabel Linscott, Marysville, Thomas and David McQuain, both of Dayton, Dan Curtis, Redmond, Wash., Jack Burtis, Monticello, Fla.
He was also preceded in death by sisters and brothers, Eunice Wise, Lois McQuain, Edna McQuain, Helen Curtis, Myra McQuain, Thomas McQuain and George McQuain.
Mr. McQuain was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II, serving for five years, three of which he was a part of a bomber group stationed in England. He was a graduate of Troy High School and the Glenville Normal School.
A memorial service will be held in July at his farm near Troy. Ingram Funeral Home, 975 N. Maple St. in Marysville, is in charge of arrangements.
Dausy G. Smith
HARRISVILLE -- Dausy Gay "Dossie" Smith, 82, of Pennsboro, died Friday, April 16, 1999, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Buckhannon. She was born in Harrisville, a daughter of the late Francis and Lottie Belle Lewellyn Smith. Surviving are one brother, Harlie Smith, Belmont; several nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints, Indian Creek Mission.
Friends will be received after 5 p.m. Saturday at Raiguel Funeral Home in Harrisville. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Elder Robert Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in King Knob cemetery.
