FAIRMONT -- Harry E. Huster, 77, of P.O. Box 6, Colfax, died Tuesday, April 20, 1999, of leukemia in the Western Penn Cancer Center, Pittsburgh, Pa. He was born July 20, 1921, in Johnstown, Pa., a son of the late Harry E. Huster Sr. and Edith McDaniel Huster. His wife, Lysbeth McCullough Huster, survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Barry Jon Huster, Clearwater, Fla., and Jack and Sue Knight Brandimarte, Bridgeport; one daughter, Lynda Huster and husband, Dr. Patrick Cavanaugh, Longmont, Colo.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Jean Shaffer.
Mr. Huster had been display director of both Jones and Hartley's department stores. He later became the buyer for Jones Men's Department in the downtown and Middletown Mall stores.
Before his retirement in 1986, he had been employed for 12 years as the executive vice president and artist in residence at the Drulane Manufacturing Co. in Fairmont.
He served two terms on the Marion County Senior Citizen Board of Directors and was currently serving as a member of the board of directors of the 8th Air Force Historical Society, West Virginia Chapter.
Mr. Huster had been a former member of the B.P.O.E. No. 294, Fairmont Moose No. 9, and the American Legion Post No. 17. He enjoyed swimming and walking, was an avid motorcyclist, loved camping in visiting campgrounds across the United States, and was an artist and creative woodworker.
He was in the U.S. Air Force during World War II with the 8th Air Force in London, England. He flew 25 bombing missions over Germany. He was a graduate of Ferndale High School and the University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown campus.
Charles W. Moneypenny
Charles W. Moneypenny, 75, of 641 West Pike St., Clarksburg, died at 9 a.m. Monday, April 19, 1999, at the Louis A. Johnson Veterans Administration Medical Center following an extended illness. He was born in Clarksburg, a son of the late Clay and Mary Simmons Moneypenny. His first wife, Margaret Moneypenny, preceded him in death in 1951.
Surviving are his companion of many years, Claydean Coontz, and one daughter, Carol Moneypenny, both of Clarksburg; several nieces and nephews.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family, having also been preceded in death by one brother, Harold Moneypenny and one sister, Blanch Bragg.
Mr. Moneypenny was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, a life member of Clarksburg Post No. 573, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and was Protestant.
He was a retired employee of Cramer's Iron and Steel Co. in Parkersburg.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens with Elder Fred Johnson conducting the service. The V.F.W. Post No. 573 and American Legion Post No. 13 Honor Guard will conduct military graveside rites.
Mary B. Moneypenny
Mary Belle Moneypenny, 69, of Capitol Avenue, Clarksburg, died Sunday, April 18, 1999, in United Hospital Center.
She was born Dec. 16, 1929, in Clarksburg, a daughter of the late Earl and Opal McMasters Mills. Her husband, Harry Moneypenny, preceded her in death in October of 1981.
Surviving are two sons, Kenneth W. Moneypenny, Woodbridge, Va., and Dennis P. Moneypenny and wife, Dena, West Palm Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren, Christina Moneypenny, Los Angeles, Calif., and Tiffany Marie, Sean William, Mary Katherine and Jessica Page Moneypenny, all of West Palm Beach; one brother, Earl B. Mills, Akron, Ohio; several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Emma Jean Green.
Mrs. Moneypenny was an active member and past auxiliary commander of DAV Chapter 13, a past president and district president of Lucinda Rose Auxiliary No. 573, Veterans of Foreign Wars, a past third district president of American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 13, a past senior regent of WOTMA Chapter 409, a past president of Ladies Auxiliary Clarksburg Aerie No. 2353, Fraternal Order of Eagles.
She was also a member of the Merit of the Purple Heart and volunteered thousands of hours at the Louis A. Johnson Veterans Administration Medical Center, where she was a member of the VAVS Committee.
Friends may call at Davis Funeral Home, 443 W. Pike St., Clarksburg, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today. The funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Sunset Memorial Park.
Roy M. Nixon
NUTTER FORT -- Roy M. Nixon, 85, of Harrod, Ohio, formerly of Franklin, Ind. and Shinnston, died at 5:15 a.m. Wednesday, April 21, in Bluffton, Ohio. He was born Dec. 17, 1913, in Shinnston, a son of the late George Jefferson and Pearl Bartlett Nixon. His wife, Lena Fitzpatrick Nixon, whom he married Dec. 31, 1938, preceded him in death on June 30, 1993.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, William Roy and Donna Nixon, Franklin, Ind.; one daughter, Mrs. Fred (Alice) Kimble, Franklin, N.C.; two brothers, George J. Nixon Jr., Lynchburg, and John R. Nixon, Wapakoneta, Ohio; one sister, Beatrice Nixon Kerr, Lima, Ohio; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Robert Nixon and two sisters, Mary Lee Gerard and Ruth Wolverton.
Mr. Nixon retired from the Weights and Measures Division of the U.S. Department of Agriculture and had been a farmer. He was a 50-year member of St. John's Lodge No. 24, A.F.&A.M. of Shinnston.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Bayliff Funeral Home, Cridersville, Ohio. His cremains will be interred in the Shinnston Masonic cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Activities Fund for Richland Manor Nursing Home, 7400 Swaney Road, Bluffton, Ohio, 45817.
Deloss D. Rapplee
GRAFTON -- Deloss Darvin Rapplee, 62, of Jessup, Md., died Tuesday, April 20, 1999, at North Arundel Hospital, Glen Burnie, Md. He was born Sept. 8, 1937, in Howesville, a son of the late Orson and Argyl Pyles Rapplee. His wife, Doris Murphy Rapplee, survives.
Also surviving are one son, Darvin Rapplee; one daughter, Denise Easley; two grandchildren, Benjamin Shannon and Dustin Rapplee; four sisters, Dorothy Sisler, Sara Dillon, Becky Wagner and Linda Calvert; and two brothers, Alfred Rapplee and Harry Rapplee.
Mr. Rapplee was a truck driver for Active Transport Co. of Baltimore, Md. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
Mary L. Risenhoover
NEW CUMBERLAND -- Mary Louise "Deasie" Risenhoover, 73, of New Cumberland, died Tuesday, April 20, 1999, at Weirton Medical Center following an extended illness. She was born Oct. 14, 1925, in West Union, a daughter of the late Brance and Myrle S. McCullough. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bradie Doak and by her second husband, William F. Risenhoover.
Surviving are one son, Gary L. Doak, New Cumberland; one daughter, Phyllis L. Doak, Medford Lakes, N.J.; two stepdaughters, Hester Thompson and Alice Hartman, and one stepson, William Risenhoover Jr., all of Oklahoma; three grandsons and six stepgrandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one brother, William McCullough, one sister, Dorthea Webber and one grandson, Ben Doak.
Mrs. Risenhoover was a homemaker and Methodist.
Edda J. Sapp
GRAFTON -- Edda Jean Sapp, 71, of Route 1, Parkview community, died Wednesday, April 21, 1999, in United Hospital Center, Clarksburg. She was born Oct. 22, 1927, in Grafton, a daughter of the late Gervis P. "Gubbie" and Wanda L. Losh King. Her husband, James R. Sapp J.R., preceded her in death on Jan. 11, 1994.
Surviving are one son, Donald G. Sapp Sr. and wife, Vickie, one daughter, Mrs. Paul (Shelby J.) Watkins, and one adopted daughter, Mrs. David (Shirley A.) Duryea, all of Grafton; eight grandchildren, Donald G. Sapp Jr., Christa Sapp, Brenda Mikolon, Margaret Ellen Duryea, Nicholas R. Duryea, and Paula A. Perks, all of Grafton, James Paul Watkins, Wahiawa, Hawaii, and David John Duryea, Coconut Creek, Fla.; 14 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one brother, George Arthur King.
Mrs. Sapp was a homemaker and Catholic. She was a member of the Grafton Veterans of Foreign Wars, Ladies Auxiliary 3081.

Eugene E. Stout
GLENVILLE -- Eugene E. "Abe" Stout, of Glenville, died Tuesday, April 20, 1999, following an extended illness.
He was born May 21, 1915, in Gilmer County, a son of the late James H. and Susan Snyder Stout. His wife, Mary E. Moyers, whom he married Feb. 5, 1944, preceded him in death on April 16, 1980.
Surviving are three daughters, Linda K. Tomes, Jane Lew, Nancy L. Frashure and Tammy J. White, both of Glenville; one son, James "Jim" Stout, Glenville; one sister, Isabelle Hark, California; seven grandchildren.
Mr. Stout retired from the Glenville State College maintenance department. He was a former truck driver and a former coal miner. He was a member of Kanawha Dr. Independent Church and was an avid antique car shower and enthusiast.

Barbara Williams
SHINNSTON -- Barbara Williams, 62, of Shinnston, died Tuesday, April 20, 1999, at her residence following an extended illness. She was born Aug. 13, 1936, in Lumberport, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Pauline Swiger Williams.
Surviving are one daughter, Beth Ann Fridley, Charleston; one son, Kenneth Carder, Shepherdsville, Ky.; one sister, Shirley Ann Gabbert, Clarksburg; three brothers, Thomas C. "Jack" Williams, Jordan, Minn., James Howard Williams and Joseph Williams, both of Lumberport; and five grandchildren, Erin, Mandy and Jamie Carder, and Stephen and Kevin Martin.
Mrs. Williams attended the Tenmile Baptist Church and was a retired cook. There will be no visitation. Harmer Funeral Home in Shinnston is in charge of arrangements.
Betty I. Williamson
Betty Irene Williamson, 89, of Ridge Road, Hill'N Dale, Clarksburg, died Tuesday, April 20, 1999, in United Hospital Center following an extended illness. She was born Jan. 26, 1910, in Belfrey, Ky., a daughter of the late Philip and Ida Thompson Trout. Her husband, Alva J. Williamson, whom she married Feb. 16, 1929, preceded her in death on Nov. 23, 1989.
Surviving are three grandchildren, Thomas, Edward and Mary Jane Williamson, all of Jacksonville, Fla.; one nephew, William Philip Hearn, Huntington; two daughters-in-law, Elizabeth Williamson and Ronni Williamson, both of Jacksonville; and one brother-in-law, William Hearn, Huntington. She was also preceded in death by one son, Dr. James Alan Williamson and one sister.
Mrs. Williamson was a retired secretary with GMAC in Charleston. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Clara A. Carrillo
Clara Abbruzinno Carrillo, 86, of Clarksburg, died Wednesday, April 21, 1999, at United Hospital Center.
She was born Dec. 7, 1912, a daughter of Teresa Iaquinta Abbruzinno, Wilsonburg, and the late Frank Abbruzinno.
Her husband, Paul Carrillo, preceded her in death.
Also surviving are one son, Dominick Carrillo and wife, Ginger, Clarksburg; and one cousin, Teresa Rose Nestor, Fairmont. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, John and Victorio Abbruzinno and one sister, Rose Abbruzinno.
Mrs. Carrillo was a homemaker and a member of the St. James Catholic Church.
Friends may call from 1-9 p.m. today at Bartolo Funeral Home, 515 West Pike St., Clarksburg. Catholic burial rites will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel with Father Robert A. Perriello as the celebrant. Interment will follow in Holy Cross cemetery.
