Madison P. Bosley
SHINNSTON -- Madison Paige Bosley, infant daughter of Amy Lee Sampson and Ryan Lee Bosley, Lumberport, died Tuesday, July 20, 1999, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown.
Also surviving are her half-brother, Marki Yatulchik; her half-sister, Raenna Bosley; her maternal grandparents, Roy Lee Sampson, Lumberport, and Kathy Dye, Grafton; her paternal grandparents, Roger Bosley and Sherry Coburn, both of Lumberport; her maternal great-grandparents, Roy and Patty Sampson, Lumberport, Fred and Delores Woolard, Lumberport; her paternal great-grandmother, Jane Coburn, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandfather, Harold David Coburn, and her paternal great-grandparents, Ray and Georgia Irene Bosley.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Lions Club cemetery, Lumberport, with the Rev. Chad Hutson officiating. Dorsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Arliegh G. Dotson
SALEM -- Arliegh Gene "A.G." Dotson, 88, of Center Point died at 4:30 a.m. Monday, July 19, 1999, in United Hospital Center, Clarksburg, after a brief illness.
He was born Sept. 8, 1910, in Doddridge County, a son of the late Benjamin Frank and Nettie Ferrebee Dotson.
His wife, Angeline Pitts Carroll Dotson, died on April 12, 1998.
Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Katherine "Katie" and Paul R. Baker, Route 2; two grandchildren, Marty L. and his wife, Robin Baker, Valley Street, and Paula Ann and her husband, Tim Ash, Route 2; three great-grandchildren, Marta Ann Baker, Stefan Paul Baker and Gabrielle Elizabeth Ash; three nephews, Bill Dotson, Salt Lake City, Utah, Leo Dotson, Saudi Arabia, and Arliegh E. Dotson, Palas Verdes Estates, Calif.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Mr. Dotson was a member of the Center Point Christian Church and was a former Sunday School teacher of the church. He had great interest in life and community.
He was owner and operator of Allen's General Store for 30 years. He was also owner of Dotson Oil and Gas.
Friends will be received 2-9 p.m. Thursday at the Greathouse Funeral Home, Salem Chapel, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Paul Flanigan officiating. Internment will be in the Center Point Christian cemetery.

Dorothy L. Gallo
SALEM ­ Dorothy Lee Gallo, 55, of McDowell Street, Clarksburg, formerly of Ashland, Ohio, died at 11:30 a.m. Monday, July 19, 1999, in United Hospital Center, Clarksburg, after a sudden illness.
She was born Oct. 11, 1943, in Doddridge County, a daughter of the late Walter and Genevieve Ash Booher.
Surviving are one daughter, Melinda Lee "Peachie" Gallo, Ashland; two sisters, Helen Flint and Beverly Sue Carper, both of Ashland; four brothers, Walter "Tom" Booher and James "Jim" Booher, both of Ashland, Billy Booher, Salem, and Jerry Booher, Clarksburg; five grandchildren whom she was rearing, Jennifer Lee Gallo, Jaymi Amber Gallo, Ashley Nicole Gallo, Marissa Sue Gallo and Sara Gallo, all of Clarksburg; several nieces and nephews, and a longtime good friend, Billie Anne Kirkpatrick, Clarksburg.
Ms. Gallo was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No. 52, Clarksburg. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Lodge No. 2353 of Clarksburg. She was a homemaker, Protestant, and enjoyed country music.

S. Ross Harvey
S. Ross Harvey, 87, of Temple Terrace, Clarksburg, died at 12:50 a.m. Sunday, July 18, 1999, in Heartland of Clarksburg.
He was born on Oct. 28, 1911, in Hazelton, a son of the late Calvin Guy Harvey and Dessa Callis Harvey.
Surviving is his wife of 64 years, Kathryn Stemple Harvey.
Also surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, David C. and Janet Harvey, Lambertsville, Mich., and James E. and Marjorie Harvey, Newark, Del.; one sister, Mary Selders, Russell, Ky.; five grandchildren, Jeffrey Harvey, Fredricksburg, Va., Douglas Harvey, Richmond, Va., Patrick Harvey, Lambertsville, Gina Pace, Taylor, Mich., and Cynthia Harvey, Newark; two great-grandchildren, Rachel Harvey, Richmond, and Kathryn Harvey, Fredricksburg.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, the Rev. W. Ward Harvey, and one sister, Virginia Rembold.
Mr. Harvey had been employed by the former Monongahela Power Co. for over 40 years as a substation operator and dispatcher. He had worked in Morgantown, Flemington and Fairmont, and he retired in 1976 in Clarksburg. He was an active member of the Stealey United Methodist Church.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. today at Davis-Weaver Funeral Home, 329 E. Main St., Clarksburg, with the Rev. Susan Rector conducting the service. An interment service will be conducted at 3 p.m. today at Aurora cemetery, Aurora.

Lois E. Dye
ELKINS ­ Lois Elaine Whiteman Dye, 76, of Bowman's Health Care Center, Ormond Beach, Fla., a former resident of Grant Street, Elkins, died at 4:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 19, 1999, at the center.
She was born Jan. 7, 1923, in Elkins, a daughter of the late Thornton Russell and Martha Cecelia Gank Whiteman.
Surviving are one son, Richard W. Dye Jr. and his wife, Carol, Winter Springs; two brothers, Robert N. and Willard T. Whiteman, both of Elkins; three sisters, Leona Purdum, Kingwood, Marguerite Riffle, Elkins, and Madeline Crickard, Beverly; two granddaughters, Christina and Elizabeth Dye, both of Winter Springs.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ernest and Charles Whiteman; four sisters, Grace Eleanor Vannoy, Vesta Clowser, Wilma Seitz and Lila Whiteman.
Ms. Dye attended the schools of Randolph County, had worked as a secretary for the state Department of Highways and was a member of Davis Memorial Presbyterian Church.

James E. Leeson
PICKERINGTON, Ohio ­ James E. "Jim" Leeson, 54, of Pickerington died suddenly Friday, July 16, 1999, in Pickerington.
He was the son of Lilly Leeson, Brooksville, Fla., and the late Cleemont Leeson Sr.
Surviving is his wife, Lindea "Lynn" Parker Leeson.
Also surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Lori Ann and Sam Distefano, Canal Winchester, Ohio; one grandson, Peyton Distefano; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Reta and Scott Campbell, Bonita Springs, Fla., and Paula and Dan Merritt, Brooksville, Fla.; one brother and sister-in-law, Cleemont "Butch" and Linda Leeson Jr., Pickerington; four stepchildren and three nephews; one aunt and uncle, Malvina and Kenneth Woolsey, Decatur, Ill.
Mr. Leeson was a driver supervisor for Roadway Express Inc. He was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam and a graduate of Shinnston High School in Shinnston, W.Va.
Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home, 550 Hill Road North, Pickerington, is in charge of arrangements.

Juanita P. Lindsey
SHINNSTON ­ Juanita Pearl Lindsey, 79, of Route 2, Shinnston, Owings Community, died at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 20, 1999, at the residence of her son following an extended illness.
She was born June 26, 1920, in Owings, a daughter of the late James Harrison and Lucille Winters Stuttler.
Twice married, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Mike Zvonaric, in 1949, and her second husband, Clarence "Bud" Lindsey, in January 1999.
Surviving are one son, Mike Zvonaric, with whom she resided; five granddaughters, Brenda Cozad, Sherry Trickett, Bridgette Blake, Brenda Harris and Kay Evans; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; two brothers, Denzil Stuttler, Bethlehem, and Jim Stuttler, Shinnston; one sister, Pat Gwynn Beckley, and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Jean Zvonaric, three sisters and three brothers.
Mrs. Lindsey was a Methodist and supported the Owings Community Church.
Friends will be received after 2 p.m. today at Dorsey Funeral Home, Shinnston, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Austin Burrough officiating. Internment will be in the IOOF cemetery at Wyatt.

Robert E. Price
Robert Eugene Price, 85, of Buckhannon Pike, Clarksburg, died Monday, July 19, 1999, in United Hospital Center, Clarksburg.
He was born on Feb. 24, 1914, in Clarksburg, the son of the late Alta Burl Price and Mary Dotts Price.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Powell Price, who he married on Aug. 18, 1940.
Also surviving are one son, Marty G. Price, Starkville, Miss.; one sister, Betty Price Patsy, Nutter Fort; two grandchildren, Robert Walter Price and Allison Wendy Price.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Helen Besterman.
Mr. Price had been employed by Pittsburgh Plate Glass as a cutter for over 15 years. He was an Army veteran, discharged as a staff sergeant.
He was in the Army Air Force during World War II. He was involved in the Eastern, Asiatic and Pacific Theater as an aerial engineer and an expert with the MKM Carbine Pistol.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Methodist Temple of Clarksburg.
Friends will be received 7-9 p.m. today at Bartolo Funeral Home, 515 W. Pike St., Clarksburg. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. James F. Kelly officiating. Interment will follow in Bridgeport cemetery.

Harry R. Simpson
Harry R. Simpson, 86, of Davis Street, Clarksburg, died at 3:50 p.m., Monday, July 19, 1999, in United Hospital Center, Clarksburg, following an extended illness.
He was born on Dec. 22, 1912, in Bradywine, a son of the late Joseph and Cora Kesiter Simpson. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
On July 2, 1935, he married Charlotte Marie Kiser, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Margaret Jo Rogers, Clarksburg, and Anne K. Shelton, Fredricksburg, Va.; one son, James R. Simpson, Clarksburg; one granddaughter, Cynthia Ann Henson, Lexington, Ky.; four grandsons, Terry A. Rogers, Clarksburg, James Randolph Rogers, Lexington, Clifford A. Shelton, Alexandria, Va., and Craig Allen Shelton, Fredricksburg, and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.
Mr. Simpson was noted for his outstanding athletic abilities and was said to have been one of the best football quarterbacks ever to have played for Franklin High School.
He was a member of the Central Christian Church in Brandywine. He had worked in the International and GMC truck business for over 50 years with his brother, Earnest, and his nephew, Bill Simpson. He was the parts manager for Simpson Truck Sales.

Louie R. Spagnuolo
SHINNSTON ­ Louie Ralph Spagnuolo, 74, of Gypsy, died Tuesday, July 20, 1999, at United Hospital Center, Clarksburg, following a extended illness.
He was born Feb. 7, 1925, in Gypsy, a son of the late Antonio and Lucy Moschella Spagnuolo.
He married his wife, Alice M. Spagnuolo, who survives, on March 11, 1944.
Also surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Pam Spagnuolo, Haywood Road; one daughter, Beth Spagnuolo, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Tom (Mary) Minear, Ripley, and Mrs. Jack (Carmella) Ewart, Good Hope; six brothers, A.A. "Ralph" Spagnuolo, Gypsy, Neil Spagnuolo, California, Pete and Manuel Spagnuolo, both of Florida, Ralph and Antonio "Dody" Spagnuolo, both of Shinnston; two grandchildren, Kaleb and A.J. Spagnuolo, and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Joe and Edrick Spagnuolo; an infant brother, and one sister, Anna Mae Spagnuolo.
Mr. Spagnuolo was the former owner and operator of Crawford Door Sales and retired from the M&H Zinc plant in Spelter with 28 years of service. He was a veteran of the Army. He was a member of American legion Post 31 in Shinnston and Clarksburg Lodge 482 B.P.O Elks. He was a Catholic.
Friends will be received from 6-9 p.m. today and after 2 p.m. Thursday at Dorsey Funeral Home, Shinnston, where services will be held at 11 a.m. at Friday. Interment will be in the Shinnston Masonic cemetery.

Carrie P. Wilson
FLATWOODS ­ Carrie P. Wilson, 92, of Copen died Sunday, July 18, 1999, at Braxton Care Center, Sutton, after an extended illness.
She was born July 8, 1907, in Gilmer, a daughter of the late Roy Singleton and Rosie Conley Singleton.
Her husband, Freeman Wilson, preceded her in death in 1953.
Surviving are one son, Gary Wilson, Circleville, Ohio; one sister, Reba Brown, Jackson's Mill; one brother, Thomas Singleton, Heaters; three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
