Anne Ellen Jones, age 69, of Smith Road, Morgantown passed away Thursday, June 19, 2008 at her home. She was born November 23, 1938 in Hazelton, PA, a daughter of the late Leo and Anna Riley Stone.
Anne had been employed at Waynesburg Hospital, working in nuclear medicine, and also had worked at WVU and Mon General as a x-ray technician. She attended the Trinity Assembly of God Church in Fairmont and her hobbies were reading and traveling.
Anne is survived by her husband of forty years, Carl Jones; one son and spouse, Carl and Sonya Jones of Fairmont; one sister Mary Elliston of Ocala, FL; and one brother, John Stone of Port St. Lucie, FL.
In addition to her parents, Anne was preceded in death by one infant daughter, Leann Jones.
Friends may call from 3-5 & 7-9 PM Sunday at the McCulla Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at the McCulla Funeral Home with Pastor Ray Crabtree officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery. The family requests that donations be made to the American Diabetes Assoc. Box 1251, Morgantown, WV 26505.

Barbara “Carol” McCord Jones age 66 of Morgantown passed away Saturday, October 8, 2011 at her home. Carol was born February 3, 1945, a daughter of Hazel McCord of Morgantown and the late Harold G. McCord.
Carol was a 1962 graduate of Clay Battelle High School. Carol was a member of the Morgantown Church of Christ. She worked as a dental assistant at WVU Dental School from 1979 to 1989. Carol loved the WVU basketball team and attended all the games. Her family will miss the wonderful cooking and baking she did throughout the year and on holidays.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 23 years, Bill Jones; two sons and spouses Cameron Harker and wife Jennifer and Michael Harker and wife Ellen; step-daughter, Shelly and husband Chris DeHart of Nashville, TN; three sisters, Anne Wood of Morgantown, Pat and husband Hutchinson Utt of Austin, TX; Lauren Dean of Morgantown; five grandchildren, Lisa and husband Matt Riffle, Cameron, Jon, Jenna, and Jaynie Harker of Morgantown; two step-grandsons, Aven and Asher DeHart of Nashville, TN; two great-grandchildren, Kyla and Kaylee Riffle of Morgantown; mother-in-law, Alberta Jones; brother-in-law, Jack Jones, sisters-in-law, Sherry and husband Mike Maxwell and Penny Quickle of Morgantown; ten nephews and nieces and four great-nephews and nieces.
In addition to her father, Carol was preceded in death by her brother, Michael McCord.
Friends may call at McCulla Funeral Home Monday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held at McCulla Funeral Home on Tuesday at 11AM with Evangelists Yale Canfield and Richard Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery.

Dolores Jean Jones, age 75 of Heritage Point, Morgantown and formerly of Granville went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 14, 2008 at Monongalia General Hospital.
She was born April 6, 1933 in Kingwood a daughter of the late Michael Menhart Ballas and Genevieve Bucklew Ballas.
Dolores was a homemaker who loved being with and caring for her family. She enjoyed music and had been the church organist at the Riverside Methodist Church and was a former member of the Sweet Adelines.
Dolores is survived by two daughters and spouses, Sharon and Brian Shatzer of Morgantown and Rebecca and Michael DeAngelo of Granville, two sons and spouses, Terrence and Lisa Jones of Fayetteville, NC and Thomas and Linda Jones of Morgantown, eight grandchildren, Mark and Amanda Shatzer, Alicia Seymour, Austin Jones, Alex and Zachary DeAngelo, Miya Jones and D. J. Baker and six step grandchildren.
Her husband Donald F. Jones preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 3-5 & 7-9 PM Tuesday at the McCulla Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the McCulla Funeral Home with Rev. Debbie Anderson officiating, to whom the family would like to extend a special thanks for her love and compassion. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery and the family request that donations be made in Dolores’s memory to Morgantown Hospice, P. O. Box 4222, Morgantown, WV 26504.

Judith Renner “Bunny” Jones, age 65, of Western Avenue, Westover, passed away, after a yearlong battle with cancer on Monday, September 13, 2010 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born March 8, 1945 in Morgantown a daughter of the late John and Ruby Ullery Renner.
Judy was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Granville Volunteer Fire Department and loved playing Bingo.
Judy is survived by four daughters, Tracy Cunningham and husband Chad of Grantsville, WV, Karen Jones and companion Robin Urick of Morgantown, Billie Janes and husband Ronnie of Morgantown and Kristi Miller and husband Botch of Morgantown, two sisters, Jane Wade and husband Mike of Morgantown and Joyce Whitaker and husband Derek of Richmond, VA, three brothers, Butch Renner and wife Carolyn of Morgantown, Gary Renner and wife Barbara of Granville and Don Renner and companion Joyce of Morgantown, grandchildren, TaLonne Mefford, Jake & Kayla D. King, Billy Ray Miller and companion Jordan McVicker, Kaitlin Mefford and companion Steve Cunningham, Dillon Mefford, Kayla King, Morgan Janes and Harley Janes and great granddaughter, Raylee Ann Cunningham.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Jones.
Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home from 6-9 PM Wednesday and on Thursday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held at the McCulla Funeral Home on Friday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Kevin Cain officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Edith Kauril, our dearest mother, Oma and great Oma, passed away peacefully after a short illness, on May the 7th 2008. Born at Tatrahaza, Hungary, Edith lived many years in Africa ending her life’s journey in Almost Heaven, West Virginia.
Edith was known by many for her congenial nature, enthusiasm, and great determination. By her loving family who are now spread across the Earth, she is dearly remembered as a remarkable, multi-faceted woman of character and culture. With her gifted hands she built a loving home filled with warmth, kindness, and the sound of good music. She personified goodly principles, and was truly an inspiration to all she associated with. Today, Edith is reunited with her loving husband Franz, her beloved parents Vilmos and Helena, and all those whom she loved so dearly. Now, once again they are all reunited to be together forever. We will miss you.
The family will receive friends at the McCulla Funeral Home on Saturday, May 10, 2008 from 11:00 AM until the noon memorial service with Graham Knowles officiating.

Kathrine Sue Kazarian, 64, of Richwood Ave, Morgantown passed away Thursday, February 12, 2009 at Mapleshire Nursing Home. She was born February 15, 1944 in Hyden, KY a daughter of the late Ralph and Nellie Adam McConnel.
She was a homemaker and loved to crochet.
Kathrine is survived by her husband of 36 years, Jack Kazarian; three sons and spouses, Jack C and Helen Kazarian of Morgantown, Clifford K. and Melissa Kazarian of Morgantown, Peter J. and Christine Kazarian of Belcamp, MD; two daughters, Jeneen A. Kazarian of Indiana, and Cari K. Proctor and husband Richard of Stanton, VA; grandchildren, Maggie, Michael, Kayla, Riley, Madison, Matthew, Jacquline, Danielle, Kevin, Dakota, and Emerald; and two brothers, John McConnel and Rick McConnel.
Kathrine was preceded in death by two sisters, and one grandchild, Garret Proctor.
Friends may call from 3-5 & 7-9 PM Saturday at the McCulla Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at McCulla Funeral Home with Chaplain Brad Corob officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Mt. Morris.

Jeffrey A. Keim, 62, of Bridgeport died on July 12, 2010 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. Jeffrey was born on August 26, 1947 in Bradford, PA to William Keim and Louella Dickinson Keim, of Ozona, FL.
Jeffrey was a field supervisor for Pennzoil Oil Company and a veteran of the United States Army.
Jeffrey is survived by two sons, Walter and his wife Brooke Keim of Shinglehouse, PA, Andrew Keim of Olean, NY; two sisters Donna Ellis of Tampa, FL, Chris Keim Jones of Castile, NY; one brother William Keim II of Columbus, OH, and six grandchildren Caden, Elayna, Sierra, Hailey, Zander, and Parker Keim.
Following Jeffrey’s wishes he was cremated. The family will have a graveside service at a later date with military honors.

Edward C. Keller, Jr., Ph.D.,Sc.D.,FAAAS, age 77, passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. His family had gathered close to his bedside since a major stroke on February 16th of this year.
Dr. Keller was born in Freehold, NJ on October 8th, 1932 the son of Edward C. Keller and Pauline D. (VanSickle) Keller. Ed was raised in Bloomsburg, PA, where he graduated from Bloomsburg High School in 1950. Shortly after graduation he married his high school sweetheart, Helen Baylor. At the age of seventeen he contracted poliovirus, which lead to lifelong disability in his legs. He received a grant to attend the famous rehabilitation facility in Warm Springs, GA in the summer of 1951. Ed worked hard to regain as much use of his legs as possible and soon received a scholarship to attend Pennsylvania State University in State College, PA. There he received a B.S. in Agronomy, Botany, & Economics in 1952 and his M.S. degree in Genetics/Breeding & Zoology. He then received a Ph.D. in Statistical Genetics & Statistics in 1961. He preformed his postdoctoral studies at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill from 1961 to 1964 in Biochemical Genetics & Statistics.
Ed worked for Penn State from 1955 to 1961 as an instructor and researcher, while attending school, and was a NIH Fellow at both Penn St. and at UNC. From 1964 to 1968 he was an Assistant Professor of Zoology at the University of Maryland, and also was on part-time staff at George Washington University as an advisor in undergraduate education. In 1966 to 1968 Ed was Manager of Data Systems and Operations for the NUS Corporation in Los Angeles, where he worked for the space program. He came to Morgantown in 1968 as the Chairman of the WVU Biology Department. After five years as an administrator, he became a full time teacher/researcher who taught thousands of students and graduate students over a 40-year period, and served on many graduate committees. During that time he published over 110 research articles, abstracts, reports and was awarded 52 governmental grants. . Also, he was important in higher science education in the state, and served as the past President of the West Virginia Academy of Sciences.
His areas of research expertise included: Taconite pollution in Lake Superior; the ocean dumping problem of Philadelphia; EPA air and water pollution monitoring criteria; impacts of stress on bio-regeneration systems in the Apollo project; oil pollution projects for the EPA and industry; waste water guidelines; nuclear, synfuel, and coal plant impact statements; the impact of acid mine drainage and acid mine drainage remediation; and the environmental influences in human cancer and cardiovascular mortalities and their spatial distributions in West Virginia.
Dr. Keller received many awards in his life that he held dear. Among those he was most proud of were: a honorary D.Sc. from Salem College (1978); WVU Social Justice Award (1991); Presidential Award for Excellence in Science, Mathematics, and Engineering (1997), Distinguished Service Award from the National Science Teachers Association (1997); and his 2002 induction into the Hall of Fame for Persons With Disabilities for his lifetime achievements.
Ed was known as a champion for the disabled. He obtained N.S.F. funding and taught for several years at a unique summer program designed to expose high school juniors to the marine sciences in a laboratory setting (Wallops Island, VA), and to other students with differing disabilities than their own. This program was so successful that an award winning film was made about it. He spent his later years as a National Science Foundation expert on disabled persons in Science and Engineering, and was the coordinator of WV Dept. Education for Equity & Access Education.
Ed is survived by his son Edward C. Keller III and wife Diana, and his daughter Kim and husband S. Craig Stamm, Ph.D., and his two grandchildren Lauren V. Stamm and Nicholas Edward W. Stamm, and Lauren’s fiancée, John Michael Barone, all of Morgantown
Ed was preceded in death by his parents and his ex-wife of more than 30 years, Helen Keller Henry.
Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home Sunday, March 21, 2010 from 1-3 pm. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3 pm with memories of Ed being shared by Dr. Joginder Nath, along with other friends. Burial will be at New Rosemont Cemetery in Bloomsburg, PA at a later date.
The family encourages donations in Ed’s memory be made to a favorite charity.

M. June Kennedy, age 83 of Dorsey Ave., Morgantown passed away Thursday, December 24, 2009 at Martha’s Manor in Morgantown. She was born October 18, 1926 in Scotts Run, WV a daughter of the late John and Anna Martin Hakin.
June had been employed at BB&T Bank in Morgantown.
June is survived by one son Kenneth D. Britton of Morgantown, three step-sons, H. J. Britton Jr. of Davis, John A. Britton and Larry P. Britton both of Morgantown, one brother, John Hakin of Novato, CA, grandchildren, Tammy Britton, Randy Britton, Kerry Britton, and Michael Britton and several step grandchildren.
June was preceded in death by her first husband, Howard J. Britton, and her second husband, Ralph W. Kennedy, one son, Charles W. Britton, one sister and two brothers.
McCulla Funeral Home provided cremation services and private family burial services will be held at East Oak Grove Cemetery at a later date.

George E. Kenyon Jr., age 75, of Westover passed away Friday, June 6, 2008 at Ruby Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Osage on January 25, 1933, a son of the late George Kenyon Sr. and Helen Kenyon. Mr. Kenyon retired from Consol Mining Company, and most recently was employed as the Vice-President of Kenyon Janitorial Corporation, which serves Mylan Pharmaceuticals of Morgantown.
He loved working at Mylan and enjoyed being part of the Mylan family. He loved his family, playing the slots, tinkering with his car, and smoking his cigars. He also enjoyed playing with his dog, Chance.
He is survived by three sons, George Kenyon of Connecticut, Richard and Charlotte Kenyon of Morgantown, and Charles and Denise Kenyon of Westover; two daughters, Mary and Roger Calhoun of Scott Depot, WV and Tina and Kevin Zeff of Westover; seven grandchildren, Amy Williams, Tim Calhoun, Jill Kenyon, Benjamin Kenyon, Brandy Kenyon, Bryan Kenyon, and Patrick Zeff; one great grandson Nicholas Williams; and two sisters, Rose Fata of Lansing, MI and Shirley and Richard Grieve of Mason, MI.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Alice Jean Kenyon, who died September 8, 2002, and one grandson, Charles Kenyon Jr.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Kingdom Evangelical Methodist Church, 540 Fairmont Rd., Westover on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM, where funeral services will be held at 12 PM on Wednesday, June 11 with Rev. Kevin Cain officiating. Graveside services will be private and arranged at a later date. McCulla Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
