Tyler James Murphy, age 21 of Morgantown passed away Thursday, June 24, 2010. He was born March 20, 1989 in Morgantown a son Jack Murphy of Jane Lew and Robin Dakan of Morgantown.
In addition to his parents Tyler is survived by one sister, Ashley Murphy of Morgantown, two brothers, Hunter Dakan and Dakota Dakan both of Morgantown, his step-mother, Crystal Murphy, his step-father, Jeremy Dakan, grandparents, Beverly Feathers of Morgantown, Cindy Murphy of Lost Creek, and Connie and Jack Dakan of Reader, WV, one great grandmother, Betty Murphy, uncles, Matthew Feathers, Brian Murphy, and aunts Cheryl Colombo, Kelly Martin, Jackie Jenkins, and Stephanie Knotts.
Tyler was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Rev. William Feathers and Jack Murphy Sr.
The family will receive friends at the McCulla Funeral Home on Monday from 5-7 PM. Private family funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM Monday at the McCulla Funeral Home with Pastors David and Nathaniel Hudson officiating.

Kenneth E. “Kenny” Muster age 54 of Davis Hill Lane, Morgantown passed away after a long illness on Thursday, April 23, 2009. He was born August 3, 1954 in Morgantown a son of Betty Lou Morton Wilson of Morgantown and the late Kenneth B. Muster.
Kenny had been employed in retail food sales and had served in the United States Army. Kenny had a lifelong passion for music, loved cars, being in the outdoors and was a marvelous storyteller.
In addition to his mother, Kenny is survived by three daughters, Jennifer Mishra and husband Don of Morgantown, Angela Muster of Savannah, GA, and Samantha Muster of Morgantown; one son, Jeff Muster of Savannah, GA; three sisters, Cindy Sabra and husband Ziad of Woodbine, MD, Carolyn Walker and husband Carl of Morgantown and Sherry Monazam and husband Essi of Morgantown; one brother, Timothy Alan Carder and wife Kathy of Alexandria, VA; his former wife Lynne Ryan; and nieces and nephews, Layla and Jay Monazam, Robert, Christopher, and April Glover, and Alex and Dena Sabra.
Friends may call from 3-5 & 7-9 PM Sunday at the McCulla Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at the McCulla Funeral Home with Pastor Jamey Gremillion officiating. Burial will follow at Lumberport Lions Cemetery.

Edna Rae Myers, 81, of Little Indian Creek Rd., Morgantown passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at home. She was born September 22, 1926 in Dakota, WV, a daughter of the late David S. and Leila B. Judy Whetzel.
Edna was a homemaker and attended the Lynch Chapel United Methodist Church. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, and basket weaving but her greatest love and enjoyment was being surrounded by her family.
She is survived by her husband of over 61 years, Donald Cleo Myers; two daughters, Pamela Rene Payne and spouse, Lawrence Neil of Fairlawn, OH, and Kelly Ann Judy and spouse Christopher Levi of Elkins; three sons, Robert William Myers and spouse Darlene, David Ben Myers and spouse Deborah, and Joe Myers and spouse Cathy, all of Morgantown. She is also survived by “The Golden Girls”; one brother; ten grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and one grandson, Gregory Brian Myers.
Following Edna’s last wishes, visitation for family only will be held at the McCulla Funeral Home on Sunday from 3-5 p.m. After the family visitation, the family will then receive friends on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Monday, April 7, 2008 at the McCulla Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Cain officiating.

Andrew Nagy, age 82 of Riverview Avenue, Westover passed away Thursday, April 8, 2010 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 20, 1927 in Leechburg, PA a son of the late Bert and Susan Nagy.
Andrew was retired from the West Virginia University Motor Pool and was a Lutheran by faith. He was a member of the United States Navy SEALS during World War II and was a member of the Morgantown VFW Post # 548.
Andrew is survived by his wife of nearly 62 years, Dorothy Hartley Nagy, two daughters, Andrea Nagy and husband, Earl McCardle, of Morgantown and Judy Powroznik and husband Leon of Westover, two sisters Julia Sinka of Leechburg, PA and Olga Gamble of La Plata, MD, one brother Albert Nagy of Kokomo, IN and one grandson, John Andrew Kisner and wife Jolean of Ashburn, VA.
Andrew was preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Krivak and two brothers, Bill and Nick Nagy.
Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home from 7-9 PM Friday and on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM Funeral service with Rev. William Fichtner officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery with graveside military honors provided by the Morgantown VFW Post # 548 and the WVANG Military Funeral Honors, Camp Dawson. The family requests that donations be made in Andrew’s memory to Hospice Care Corp., 3363 University Ave., Morgantown, WV 26505.

Joseph W. Nagy Jr. age 50 of Annandale, VA formerly of Morgantown passed away Monday, December 14, 2009 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born May 14, 1959 in Fort Hood, TX.
Joe always loved computers and used that passion to become a Microsoft Computer Engineer.
Joe is survived by his mother and step-father, Nina Saffron Haines and Allen Haines of Morgantown, two daughters, Nina Catherine Nagy of Burke, VA and Jennifer Lynn Nagy of Burke, VA, three sisters, Toni Moore and spouse Art of Morgantown, Mary Jane O’Neil of Westover and Jo Ann Nagy of Capron, VA, one brother, John Cathreno and spouse Allison of Westover, his former spouse Catherine Nagy, two step-sisters, Cheryl Blue of Stonewood and Suzanne Bane and spouse Ron of Morgantown, and two step-brothers, Larry Haines of Morgantown and John Haines of Louisville, KY, along with several nieces and nephews.
Joe was preceded in death by his father, Joseph W. Nagy Sr.
McCulla Funeral Home provided cremation services and a private family memorial service was held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at McCulla Funeral Home with Pastor Milford Watters officiating.

Clifford Gene Neely, age 81 of Morgantown, WV went home on March 6, 2009 at Monongalia General Hospital. He was born January 10, 1928 in Core, WV a son of the late Guy Leslie and Maggie Olive Kennedy Neely.
Before becoming a telephone man, Gene had worked for Monongahela Power and served in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Korean War as a Communication Specialist. After 40 years and 4 months of employment with C&P Telephone Co., Bell Atlantic, and Verizon Inc., he retired in 1990.
Gene was a life member of the VFW Post #548 of Morgantown and life member of the WV Telephone Pioneers. He enjoyed adapting toys for deaf and blind children and served on the Morgantown City Planning Commission from 1965-1975. He was an avid softball player, bowler and golfer. He enjoyed 4-H as a youth in Monongalia County and as a supporter of his three grandchildren in 4-H of Marion County.
Gene is survived by his wife of sixty years, Willa Jo Areford Neely, one daughter and spouse, Leslie Ann Neely Clark and Howard E. of Fairmont, grandchildren, Jessica E. Clark of Raleigh, NC, Alex B. Clark of Morgantown and Jeremy D. Clark of Fairmont, three brothers and two spouses, Millard Glenn Neely of Core, Bernard Dale and Carolyn Neely of Hurricane, WV, and Albert Carl and Bonnie Jean Neely of Mt. Morris, PA., one sister Joan Marie Neely Owen Wither of Bedford, OH, 31 nieces and nephews, and several grand nieces and nephews.
Four sisters, Olive Neely Myers, Pauline Neely Davis, Irene Neely Brookover, and Doris Grace Neely Rexroad, and three brothers, Leslie Paul Neely, George Kenneth Neely and Howard K. Neely preceded him in death.
Friends may call from 3-5 & 7-9 PM Tuesday at the McCulla Funeral Home in Westover. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at the McCulla Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Whoolery officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery with graveside military honors conferred by the Westover VFW Post # 9916 and WVANG Funeral Honors, Camp Dawson. The family requests that donations be made to the Salvation Army, 1224 University Avenue, Morgantown, WV 26505.

Millard Neely, 96, of Little Indian Creek Rd. died March 13, 2010 at Mon General Hospital. Millard was born on March 31, 1913 in Hagans, WV to the late Guy L. and Maggie Kennedy Neely.
Millard devoted his life to farming, was an avid bowler, and an enthusiastic supporter of WVU and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Mr. Neely was also an elder in the Dolls Run Christian Church and a lifelong member of the Knights of Pythias.
Millard is survived by his daughter and spouse, Donna and Allen Wright of Little Indian Creek Rd.; two grandchildren and spouses, Glenn Allen and Anna Wright of Charleston, LeeAnn M. and Mark Doyle of Cross Lanes; and one great-granddaughter, Emma Faith Doyle; one sister Joan Marie Neely Owen Wither of Bedford, OH; two brothers and spouses, Bernard Dale and Carolyn Neely, of Hurricane, WV, Albert Carl and Bonnie Jean Neely, of Mount Morris, PA.
In addition to his parents, Millard is preceded in death by his wife, Thais L. Neely, who died in 1993; four sisters Olive Neely Myers, Pauline Neely Davis, Irene Neely Brookover, and Doris Grace Neely Rexroad; four brothers, Leslie Paul Neely, George Kenneth Neely, Howard K. Neely, and Clifford Gene Neely.
Family and Friends may call at McCulla Funeral Home on Monday, March 15, from 4-8 pm. Funeral services will be held at McCulla Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 16 at 11 am with Pastor Jerry Teter officiating. Burial will follow at the Dolls Run Cemetery.

Thomas “Hooch” Neer, Sr. passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at his home. Thomas was born in Morgantown on October 18, 1930 to the late John and Lottie Deems Neer.
He served in the Navy during the Korean War and worked as a coal miner at Blacksville #2 Mine. Tom enjoyed playing music and singing, getting together with friends and family. Tom could also be found playing with his dog “Kofi”, hunting and dancing.
He is survived by one daughter, Sandy Neer, of Morgantown; two sons Ben Neer of Morgantown, Matt Neer and his companion Christine Williams of Fairmont; one sister Ruth Falbo of Virginia; one brother James Neer of Bruceton Mills; five grandchildren Magan, Mary, Christinn , LB, and Seth; and one great granddaughter, Bella.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his wife Betty Riffle Neer, one daughter Tina Neer, thirteen brothers, and two sisters.
Family and friends may call at McCulla Funeral Home from 3-5 & 7-9 on Friday. Funeral services will be held at McCulla Funeral Home on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Ben Hager officiating. Burial will follow at Arnettsville Cemetery with graveside military honors conferred by WVANG Military Funeral Honors, Camp Dawson, and the Westover VFW Post 9916.

David Henry Nestor, 61, of Morgantown, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. David was born in Coal Lick, WV on December 29, 1949 to the late Samuel and Grace Kelly Nestor.
David proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He later worked as a railroad trackman and retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad. David attended Calvary Baptist Church in Morgantown and was a charter member of both the Kingwood Southern Baptist Church and the Kingwood Independent Baptist Church. He was an avid collector of coins and railroad memorabilia and was the former lodge president of the B.M.W.E. David enjoyed being around his house fixing everything and playing with his dogs and cats but his greatest pleasure was in being a loving husband, father and granddad. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
David is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Nestor; daughter, Whitney Reckart and husband Len of Colorado; sons, Jeff Nestor and wife Christy of Huntington, WV, Christian Nestor of Smithfield, PA, and Zechariah Nestor of Morgantown; sisters, Shirley Hawkins and husband Bud of Kingwood, WV, Jackie Futrell and husband Rick of Berkeley Springs, WV, and Martha Varney and husband Bobby of Baxter,TN; brother, Woody Nestor and wife Judy of Cheyenne, Wyoming; and grandchildren, Mercedes, Ian, Hannah, Julia, Adam, Jacob, C.J., and Rylan.
Friends may call at McCulla Funeral Home on Tuesday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be on Wednesday at 11 AM with Pastor Doug Strother officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery with full military honors conferred by Westover VFW Post #9916 and WVANG Military Funeral Honors, Camp Dawson.

Wilma D. Newbraugh, age 84 of Lawless Road, Morgantown passed away Saturday, May 03, 2008 at Fairmont General Hospital. She was born April 29, 1924 in Preston County, a daughter of the late Dorsey and Jessie Collins Trout.
Wilma worked and retired from the lunch counter at G. C. Murphy’s in Morgantown, was a Methodist by faith and loved growing her roses.
She is survived by two sons, David and Lynda Trout of Texas and Robert Kinsley of Weirton, WV, one brother and spouse, Willard and Rita Trout of Florida, one sister-in-law, Edith Trout, seven grandchildren, Kim Dawson, Bridget Shaw, Christy Collins, Linda Kay Otero, Dave Trout, Michael Trout and Travis Trout, twenty four great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Her husband, Donald Hugh Newbraugh, one sister, Zena Gray, and one brother, Richard Trout, preceded Wilma in death.
Friends may call from 3-5 & 7-9 PM Monday at the McCulla Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at the McCulla Funeral Home with Rev. Junior Koon officiating. Burial will follow at Arnettsville Cemetery.
