Charlotte Ruth Dancy
Charlotte Ruth Dancy, 69 , of Birch River died on May 10, 2011 in Ruby Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
She was born on April 20, 1942 in Clay, WV to the late Lee Theodore and Nora Ellen Laxton Boyce.
Charlotte was a retired Deli Manager with IGA and Foodland Stores. She was a member of Birch River Baptist Church and a Christian by faith. She was also a member, Secretary and Treasurer of TOPPS of Summersville. She was a former member of the Birch River Volunteer Fire Dept. and Emergency Ambulance Service. Charlotte was a 5 year Cancer survivor.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, and her son; Terry Gwinn Dancy, brother; Wade Boyce, and step-brother; David Williams
She is survived by her loving husband James and son James Dancy, Jr. and wife Luella of Birch River, daughter Rachel Wyre and Fiancйe Kenny Coen of Burnsville, brothers Willard and Larry Boyce of KY. , and Simon “Junior” Williams also of KY., grandchildren Jeremy Dancy (Alisha), Charlie Wyre (Jessica), Joshua Dancy (Cody) and Jeffery Dancy, Theresa Rundgren, Rob Carr, Chris Wyre, Bryan Carr and great grandson Jordan and several other great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 2:00pm at Greene-Robertson Funeral Home with the Rev. Phillip Channell officiating. Friends called on Friday May 13 from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Burial followed in the Butcher-Dancy Cemetery at Runion Ridge near Strange Creek, WV.

Angel Grace Justice
Angel Grace Justice, one day old baby of Amber D. Kowalski and William Justice of Buckhannon passed away on May 12, 2011 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown
She was born May 12, 2011 at 1:59 p.m. and went to heaven to be with Jesus at 11:10 p.m. on May 12, 2011. The time we spent with our little Angel was so very precious. She will never be forgotten.
Angel is survived by parents, Amber Kowalski and William Justice; sisters, Piper Jade Tonkin at home, Kayla R. and Lauren E. Justice; brother, William T. Justice; paternal grandmother, Wanda Justice of Burnsville; maternal grandparents, Melissa Ice of Birch River, Keith and Terri Kowalski of Ohio; step grandfather, Rick Ice of Elmira; great grandparents, Nolen and the late Dorothy Reeder of Strange Creek; great great grandmothers, Zella Reeder and Marjorie Hughes both of Wilsie; uncles, Jared and Quinton Ice of Birch River; also many other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Service was 7 p.m. Monday, May 16 at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway with Pastor Jimmy Adkins officiating.
Friends called one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Cremation followed services.

Sandie (Robinson) Cunningham
Sandie (Robinson) Cunningham, 59, of Little Birch, WV went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 9, 2011, at Dunbar Care & Rehabilitation Center following a long illness.
Born April 22, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Lillian Robinson of Little Birch, WV. Sandie was a 1970 graduate of Braxton County High School. She worked at Braxton County Health Care Center for over 17 years before she retired in 2001.
Sandie is survived by her loving husband of over 37 years John Cunningham; her son, Chris Cunningham, of Belle, WV and her daughter, Lesley Cunningham of Charleston, WV.
A private family Graveside funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2011, at Braxton Memorial Cemetery in Sutton, WV with Rev. Linn Schiefer officiating.
Greene-Robertson Funeral Home located in Sutton, WV is in charge of arrangements.

James Donzel Wilson
James Donzel “Don” Wilson, 82, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2011, in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia. He was born April 6, 1929, in Braxton County, West Virginia, son of the late Worthy L. and Macel M. Utt Wilson. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ardath; children Brett Lee (Gail) and COL. Larie J. (Tracey) Wilson; grandchildren Kristina M. Clay, Jennifer L. Wilson (Jeremy), Brittney A. Wilson, Ethan L. Wilson (Jessica), Jamie L. Wilson, SPC Robert W. Wilson and Sarah T. Wilson; great-grandchildren Branden L. Cole and Cheyenne N. Wilson; bother Laco Wilson of Tiffin, Ohio; sister Pauline Waldeck of Braxton County, West Virginia; brothers and sisters-in-law Jim and Carol Lee of Idaho and Richard and Virginia Distel of Tiffin, Ohio; several nieces, nephews and cousins; his church family at New Hope United Methodist Church, Proctorville, Ohio; and good neighbors Pete and Art. He was in the U.S. Army 1951-53, and served in the Korean War. He was a former truck driver with various companies in West Virginia before retiring in 1991. Don was a gifted woodworker who provided much enjoyment with the gifts of his talents he provided to so many. Funeral service was conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, August 7, 2011, at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Dwayne Shugert. Burial followed in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation was held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, August 6, 2011, at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. Memorial donations may be made to New Hope United Methodist Church Building Fund.

James Daniel Luzader
James Daniel Luzader, 50, of Newville, WV, passed away Friday, Aug, 19, 2011 at his home after a short illness.
He was born on April 12, 1961 in Sutton a son of the late James A. Luzader who passed away on Aug. 5, 2006, and Aneta J. Morrison Luzader of Newville.
He graduated from Braxton County High School in 1979 and was a self-employed carpenter and mason. He enjoyed his family and friends and especially liked to ride four wheelers and spending time with his nephew.
He is survived by his mother Aneta Luzader of Newville; brothers, Michael Luzader of Newville and David Luzader and his wife Teresa of Caress, WV. One very special nephew, Charlie Hall also of Caress.
Funeral Services were held at 12 Noon on Thursday, Aug 25, 2011 at Stockert-Sizemore Funeral Home in Flatwoods with Rev. Tom Propst officiating. Burial was in Newville Cemetery in Newville, WV. Friends called from 10:00 AM to service time at the funeral home on Thursday. Online condolences may be expressed at www.stockertsizemore.com.

James R. Argabrite
James R. Argabrite, 74, of Dayton, OH formerly of Duck, died August 25, 2011 at Dayton VA Medical Center.
He was born June 8, 1937 son of the late Ray and Christine Gray Argabrite.
He owned his own heating and air conditioning business in Dayton and was an Army veteran.
Surviving; son, Raymond E. Argabrite of Dayton, OH; daughter, Elin Borg Chris Argabrite of Reykjavik, Iceland; half sister, Lou Mullins; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Service was 1 p.m. Monday, August 29 at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway with Rev. Johnny Conrad officiating. Burial was in the Duffield Cemetery, Duck.
Friends called two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

Thomas Lee Dillon
Thomas Lee Dillon,31, of Sutton died on August 29, 2011 at Braxton Memorial Hospital, Gassaway. He was born on June 12, 1980 in Weston, WV to Charles Lee and Carol Sue Elswick Dillon.
Thomas was a Truck Driver for Clay Trucking Company.
He is survived by his wife; Tina Cutlip Dillon, daughters; Julie Rose Dillon and Katie Taylor Dillon both at home, parents; Charles Lee and Carol Sue Dillon of Sutton, brothers; Charles E. Dillon and Jeffry Wayne Dillon both of Sutton, nephew; Alex Dillon and niece; Sammi Dillon .
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Greene-Robertson Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Griffin officiating. Friends called one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial followed the service at Gillispie Cemetery Sutton.

Mary Francis Ball
Mary Francis Ball, 90, of Sutton passed away at her home on August 31, 2011. She was born on August 30, 1921 in Vanceburg, Ky. to the late Grover Cleveland and Eliza Josephine Bias Vance.
She was a homemaker, former member of Cazy Freewill Baptist Church and a member of Post #33 American Legion Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Gary Lou Jarrell.
Mary is survived by her husband; Charles E. Ball, sons; Harold Joe Jarrell & wife Esteleane of Bim, WV, Alfred Jarrell of Uneeda, WV, daughters; Delores Hicks of Danville, Va., Gloria Tincher of Bob White, WV, 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren & 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday September 2, 2011 at Greene-Robertson Funeral Home, Sutton with the Rev. Billy Griffin officiating. Burial followed at Family Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Low Gap, WV at 2:00 pm. on Friday. Friends called 6-8 p.m. on Thursday September 1, 2011 at the funeral home.

Farrell C. Belknap
Farrell C. “Chick” Belknap 86, of Glenville, and Parkersburg, WV passed away peacefully at Hospice Care Regional Center in Elkins, WV.
He was born on May 13, 1925 on Big Trace Run, near Exchange, Braxton Co. WV a son of the late Henry and Roena Lake Belknap. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII. He worked for many years at Penn Metal and Brockway Glass Co. in Parkersburg.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Brothers Eugene Belknap and Jack Belknap and eight step-brothers and sisters.
Mr. Belknap is survived by his wife Elda Blake Belknap of Glenville, WV. Daughter Shara Belknap Curry and her husband Joel of Glenville. Sisters, Fay Scott of Glenville and Maxine Wilson of Barbourton, OH. And sister in-law Alice Belknap of Parkersburg, WV.
Grandchildren, Andrea Curry of Red Bluff, CA. and Alicia Miller of Barboursville, WV. Great-Grandchildren include, Kadin and Nikia Oaktree of California. Breanna, Ethan and Elianna Miller of Barboursville, WV.
Graveside services were held at 3:00 PM on Saturday Sept 3, 2011 at Braxton County Cemetery with Rev. Joel Curry officiating. Friends called from 1- 3:00 PM at Stockert-Sizemore Funeral Home in Flatwoods, WV.
