Herman Dale Lott, 74, of Palmetto, Fla.,
passed away Nov. 19, 2009, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 25, 1935, at Buck Run in Wood
Count, a son of the late William Harold Lott
and Ethel Naylor Lott Baker. Herman retired
from Allegheny Freight Lines.
Surviving is his wife, Phyllis G. Ryan Lott;
one daughter, Judy Bonnett (Ed); three sons,
Harley Lott Sr., Harlan Lott and Preston
Pierce; four granddaughters, Saprina Barfield,
Mylea Pierce Hess, Melody Lester and Marissa
Ware; five grandsons, Harley Jr., Jamie, Josh,
Jeremey and Jarrett Lott; one brother, Paul
Lott; two sisters, Mildred Amos and Norma
Bartlett; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in
death by a sister, Mary Shirley; and his first
wife, Patricia Pierce Lott.
The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday
at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth Street,
Parkersburg. Pastor Paul Drake will officiate
and burial will follow at Sunset Memory
Gardens. The visitation will be from 4-8 p.m.
today at the funeral home.
Patty L. Williams Emrick
Vienna, WV
Patty L. Williams Emrick, 66, of Vienna,
passed away Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, at
Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was born Dec. 6, 1942, in Vienna, a
daughter of the late Robert R. and Evelyn M.
Strothers Williams. Patty was a 1960 graduate
of Parkersburg High School, had been employed
with the Parkersburg News and Sentinel, she
and her husband had owned and operated Binkys
Sub Shop across from PHS and Mustards Deli in
Vienna and she was a homemaker.
Surviving is her husband, Reggie E. Emrick;
one son, Chad E. Emrick (Annette) of Mineral
Wells; four daughters, Cinthia L. Emrick of
Vienna, Robin E. Emrick and Angela Caskey
(Kevin), both of Columbus, and Patricia Conley
of Vienna; five grandchildren, Patrick Caskey,
Mollie Conley, Maggie Conley, Madeline Conley
and Emily Emrick; two brothers, Kenneth
Williams (Charlotte) of Waverly and Richard
Williams (Alice) of Vienna; one sister,
Madeline Stutler (Wendell) of Vienna; and
several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded
in death by a brother, Ralph Williams; and
three sisters, Kathleen Wilson, Imojean
Stutler and Icie "Peach" Wilson.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at
the First Assembly of God near Marrtown Road.
Pastors Tony Raffa and Robert Holland will
officiate and burial will follow at
Parkersburg Memorial Gardens. The visitation
will be from 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral
home.
Donna Sue Wigal Reed
Parkersburg, WV
Donna Sue Wigal Reed, 64, of Parkersburg,
passed away Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, at the
University of Pittsburgh Presbyterian Medical
Center following an unexpected illness.
She was born Nov. 26, 1944, at Wadesville, a
daughter of the late Wade and Mary Irene Deem
Wigal. Donna was a member of the First Church
of the Nazarene and was a graduate of
Parkersburg High School. She has worked in the
banking industry for over 40 years being
currently employed with WesBanco and had at
one time worked at Wood County Bank.
Surviving is her husband, Clifton "Cliff"
Reed; two sons, Kenny (Amber) Hale of
Elizabeth and Kermit (Sandra) Hale of
Parkersburg; two stepdaughters, Tina Merrill
(Nathan) of Little Hocking and Tammy Moore
(Chris) of Marietta; four grandchildren, Mary
Cathleen Hale, Taylor Merrill, Mathew Merrill
and Tyler Moore; two sisters, Wanda (Darrell)
Sams of Parkersburg and Betty (Jack) Wilson of
Wadesville; several aunts, uncles and cousins;
and a host of friends and business associates.
The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at
the First Nazarene Church on 19th Street in
Parkersburg. Pastor Keith Hostutler will
officiate and burial will follow at the Wigal
Cemetery at Wadesville. The visitation will be
from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4-8 p.m. Friday at
Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth St.,
Parkersburg. Also from 10 a.m. to noon
Saturday at the funeral home and one hour
prior to the service Saturday at the church.
Janet Marie Smith Travis
Parkersburg, WV
Janet Marie Smith Travis, 61, of Parkersburg,
passed away unexpectedly, Nov. 12, 2009, at
her home.
She was born Dec. 6, 1947 in Parkersburg, a
daughter of the late George Leonard and Nelma
Catherine Hill Smith. Janet was a long time
member of the Broadway Nazarene Church, was a
graduate of PHS and was a member of TOPS.
Surviving is her son, Kevin M. (Sheila)
Travis; and her daughter, Kimberly A. Travis
Stull, both of Parkersburg; three
grandchildren, Kennedy Travis, Christian
Travis and Jailyn Stull; three brothers, Bob
Smith, Carl Smith and Gary Smith; five
sisters, Freda Barnes, Faye Moore, June
Newhouse, Kathryn Lee and Betty Pickering; and
several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded
in death by an infant son, Kenneth A. Travis;
a brother, Glen Smith; and two sisters, Loufon
Patterson and Reva Mae Smith.
The funeral service will be held 1 p.m.
Saturday at the Broadway Nazarene Church with
Pastor Bill Hines officiating. There will be a
visitation with viewing from 6-8 p.m. today at
Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth St., Parkersburg.
June Alberta Cain
Parkersburg, WV
June Alberta Cain, 82, of Parkersburg, passed
away Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, at Camden-Clark
Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 15, 1927, in Jackson County,
a daughter of the late Asa Charles and Eva
Jane Sines Smith. She enjoyed being a
homemaker and enjoyed her family. She was a
genealogist being a member of the West Augusta
Historical & Genealogical Society.
Surviving are two sons, William Randolph Cain
(Deborah Tuttle) of Cutler, Ohio, and Scott
David Cain of Parkersburg; one daughter,
Rebecca Sue Cain Winkler (Tommy) of
Hendersonville, Tenn.; four grandchildren,
Rhett Winkler, Zachary Cain, Jessica Kinzy and
Tommy Cain; six great-grandchildren; one
brother, Wayne Smith (Ellen) of Parkersburg;
and several nieces and nephews, with special
appreciation and thanks to Phyllis Godfrey and
Diane Cole for their love and attentiveness
over the years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded
in death by her husband, William Robert Cain
in 2003; brothers, Chester Smith, Charles
Smith and Melvin Smith; sisters, Helen Nohe
and Grace Nottingham; and a granddaughter,
Courtney Winkler.
Private graveside services will be held Friday.

Eileen Fogle George
Vienna, WV
Eileen Fogle George, 81, of Vienna passed away early Sunday morning, Nov. 8, 2009, at Camden-
Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was born at Russett, W.Va., a daughter of
the late Linn and Nellie D. Cosner Fogle.
Eileen was a self-taught jewelry and metal-
smith.
Surviving are two daughters, Tamara Sue George
(Jerry Phipps) of Marietta, Ga., and Monica
Hess of Vienna; two grandchildren, Michelle
Hess and Eric Hess, both of Lubeck; a great-
granddaughter, Alea Hess; and two sisters,
Doris Nicholas of Dunbar, W.Va., and Macel
O'Brien of Midland, Texas.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded
in death by her husband, Johnny N. George.
There will be a private family graveside
service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memory
Gardens. There will be no viewing or
visitation.
Kimes Funeral Home of Parkersburg is assisting
the family with the arrangements.
