Charles E. "Chuck" Bibbee, 87, of the Hope Hill
Community, passed away Aug. 5, 2012, at his
home.
He was born in Wood County on July 12, 1925, a
son of the late Carl D. and Dora Ethel
Barnhouse Bibbee. Chuck was a member of the
36th Street Church of Christ in Vienna and
retired from GE Plastics with 18 years of
service. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII,
having served in the European Theater. He
enjoyed fishing and gardening.
Surviving is his wife, Mary Schultz Bibbee; one
son, Evangelist Kevin (Kamy) Bibbee of Hickory,
N.C.; one daughter, Pamela (Rick) Kellar of
Williamstown; two step-sons, Mark (Marsha)
Roberts of Vienna and Steven (Rhonda) Roberts
of Ravenswood; two step-daughters, Brenda
(Scott) Smith of Hickory, N.C. and Rebecca
(Brian) Pasch of Sunrise, Fla.; four
grandchildren, Christopher (Kristen Alastanos)
Kellar, Megan Bibbee, Kaylan Bibbee and Morgan
Bibbee; three step-grandchildren, Paul Roberts,
Jasmine Roberts and Timothy Roberts; three
great-grandchildren, Blake Roberts, Vicky
Roberts and Kenson Roberts; two brothers,
Donald (Carol) Bibbee of Vienna and Bernard
(Patsy) Bibbee of Walker; three sisters, Glenna
Maxine Allman of Vienna, Wilma (Vernon) Ault of
Marietta and Wanda Mae (Danny) Darnold of
Vienna. In addition to his parents, he was
preceded in death by his first wife, Norma Jean
Westbrook Bibbee; three brothers, Howard Dale
Bibbee, James Russell Bibbee and Harold Wade
Bibbee; and an infant sister, Barbara Ann
Bibbee.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m.
Wednesday, at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St.,
Parkersburg. Evangelist Mark Mason and his son,
Evangelist Kevin Bibbee will officiate. Burial will follow at the Willow Island Cemetery with
military rites conducted by the American
Legion, Post #15 of Parkersburg. Visitation
will be from 6-8 p.m. today and one hour prior
to the service on Wednesday.
Margie T. Nohe Rawson
Cavin Fork, Ravenswood, WV
Margie T. Nohe Rawson, 91, of the Cavin Fork
Community of Ravenswood, passed away July 26,
2012, as a result of injuries sustained in an
automobile accident.
She was born March 4, 1921 in Jackson County,
a daughter of the late Dock A. and Ora Shepard
Nohe. Margie was a homemaker, farmer and was
of the Baptist Faith. She retired from the
Blennerhassett School in 1983 with 15 years of
service. She was a member of the Helping Hands
Quilt Guild of Belleville, the Pond Creek
Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary
since 1972 and the Ravenswood Senior Citizens.
Her hobbies included, quilting, crochet,
cooking and baking pies for the Fire
Department events.
Surviving are two sons, Roger (Karen) Rawson
of Belleville and Anthony "Andy" (Pat) Rawson
of Belleville; daughter-in-law, Ruth Moore
Rawson of Ravenswood; grandchildren, Keith and
Molly Rawson of Phoenix, Ariz., Brian Rawson
of Rockport, Randy and Regina Rawson of
Ravenswood, Kevin and Amanda Rawson of
Ravenswood, David and Lisa Rawson of
Washington, W.Va., Christina (Cory) Rawson of
Parkersburg, Todd Noland and Lisa and Daren
Hall of Ripley; step-granddaughter, Christy
Raines; great-grandchildren, twins, Ava and
Chandler, Abby and Sammy, Travis, Ethan and
Cameron, Carter and Baylee, Seth and Jaylen
and Jaedyn; brothers, Joe (Martha) Nohe of
Florida, Paul "Pete" (Delores) Nohe of
Belleville, Ron Nohe of Ravenswood, Jack Nohe
of Vienna and Ovie "Ed" Nohe of Ravenswood.;
nieces, Laura, Cathy, Connie, Linda, Sandra
and Barbara; nephews, Wendell, Gary, Lawrence,
Mike, Jeff and Gregory; and a host of cousins
and special friends. In addition to her
parents, she was preceded in death by her
husband, Lloyd Lewis Rawson in 1970; a son,
Leo Rawson in 2009; and a sister, Lena Pifer.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2
p.m. Sunday, at the Kimes Funeral Home, 521
Fifth St., Parkersburg with Pastor Lester
Morgan officiating and burial will follow at
Sunset Memory Gardens. The visitation will be
from 3-8 p.m. today and on Sunday from noon
until service time.
Memorial donations may be directed to the Pond
Creek Baptist Church, Pond Creek Baptist
Church Cemetery or Pond Creek Volunteer Fire
Department.
Linda Ann Jones
Walker, WV
Linda Ann Jones, 46, of Walker, W.Va., passed
away July 14 2012, at Marietta Memorial
Hospital.
She was born Oct. 23, 1965, in Parkersburg, a
daughter of Henry Camden Jones and Virginia
Catherine Denton Jones, both of Parkersburg.
Linda was a graduate of Parkersburg High
School, attended Kanawha Baptist Church and
she had worked as a River Boat Deck Hand. She
enjoyed fishing, gardening, the outdoors and
nature, spending time on the river and her
grandchildren.
Surviving is her daughter, Amy Sue Wilson
(Stephen Gherke) of Vienna; two grandchildren,
Addison Nichole Gherke and Cooper Allen
Gherke; one brother, David R. (Martha) Jones
of Parkersburg; one sister, Connie S. Jones of
Parkersburg; several nieces and nephews; and
many longtime friends.
She was preceded in death by a son, Bo Wilson
in 1994; paternal grandfather, John C. Jones,
who was a World War I veteran; paternal
grandmother, Edna Knopp; and maternal
grandmother, Bessie Denton.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday
at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth St.,
Parkersburg. Pastor Christopher Longrear will
officiate and burial will follow at Fought
Cemetery at Newark. Visitation will be
Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
Zella Lee Sinnett
Belpre, OH
Zella Lee Sinnett, 79, of Belpre, Ohio, passed
away July 12, 2012, at her home.
She was born Jan. 29, 1933, in Ritchie County,
a daughter of the late Robert Roscoe and Dovie
Leota Drake Edgell.
She was Methodist and worked as a certified
nursing assistant.
Surviving is her life companion of 34 years,
Keith Bosley of Belpre; one son, Russell
Sinnett in Pennsylvania; one daughter, Wilma
Remaley of Parkersburg; one sister, Betty Ward
of Williamstown; several grandchildren; great-
grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded
in death by her husband, Burl Sinnett, Sr.;
two sons, Burl Sinnett, Jr. and Jim Sinnett;
one daughter, Dovie Sinnett and 11 brothers
and sisters.
There will be no service or visitation.

Sara M. Richmond, 84, of Parkersburg, died peacefully at her home Sunday morning, July 8,
2012.
Sara was born Nov. 3, 1927, in Bedford, Ohio,
the daughter of the late Thomas and Nellie
Johnson Carroll.
She was a member of St. Paul's United
Methodist Church and the West Virginia
Conference of United Methodist Women. She
graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1943
and attended Mountain State Business College.
She is survived by her husband, Richard
M. "Dick" Richmond; daughters, Cathy (Richard)
Buttermore and Bobbi (Randy) Jones of
Parkersburg and Tina (Daniel) Olivas of
Addison, Texas; son, John Gibbons of Ft.
Lauderdale, Fla.; stepdaughters, Catherine and
Nancy Richmond of Parkersburg; stepson, Bill
Richmond of Washington, D.C.; three
grandchildren, Richard Buttermore of Belpre,
Alicia (Greg) Miller of Oklahoma and Julie
Miller (Jay) Stroud of Dallas, Texas; several
great-grandchildren; and several step-
grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded
in death by her first husband, Robert S.
Gibbons; a son, Steve Gibbons; a brother,
George Carroll; and grandsons, Scott
Buttermore, Dicky Richmond and Logan Richmond.
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m.
Wednesday at St. Paul's United Methodist
Church, 1101 Market St., Parkersburg; the Rev.
Lisa Taylor and the Rev. Cindy Eakle will
officiate. A private family graveside service
will be at Pleasant View Cemetery; Pastor
Jerry Caplinger will officiate. The visitation
will be at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth St.,
Parkersburg, on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. and at
the church an hour prior to the service on
Wednesday.
Helen Buckley
Parkersburg, WV
Helen Buckley, 94, of Parkersburg, passed away July 1, 2012, at Camden Clark Medical Center,
Memorial Campus.
Mrs. Buckley was born March 17, 1918, at
Belleville, a daughter of the late William
Everett Hale and Gertrude Virginia Flinn Hale.
After graduating from Southern Martz Beauty
Academy in Athens, Ohio, she owned and
operated Helen's Beauty Shop in Parkersburg
for 41 years.
She was a member of the West Augusta
Historical and Genealogical Society, the
Daughters of the American Revolution
Blennerhassett Chapter, a 55-year member of
the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 14, a member
of the Camden Clark Hospital Auxiliary
Volunteer Services, providing 4, 638 hours. She
also was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist
Church for more than 40 years.
She had also been a former employee of
Stallman's Hardware. She was the light of her
family's eyes. A wife, mother, grandmother,
daughter, sister and aunt who taught by
example what it means to have a faith-driven
life of love and service to others.
Surviving is her daughter, Carolyn Sue (Danny)
Tennant of Atlanta, Ga., and her daughter in
law, Kathleen Davis Buckley of Belleville;
five grandchildren, Robert, Dean and Beth
Buckley of Parkersburg and Shay Tennant McNew
and Shana Tennant of Atlanta; eight great
grandchildren and five great-great-
grandchildren and several beloved nieces and
nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded
in death by her husband of 63 years, Dexter L.
Buckley Sr., and her son Dexter L. "Lewis"
Buckley Jr.; two brothers, Doyle Hale and
William "Bill" Hale; and three sisters,
Dorothy Staats, Madge Hale and Lenora Hale.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at
the Emmanuel Baptist Church on 23rd Street,
the Rev. David Carpenter and the Rev. William
Thomas will officiate and burial will follow
at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at
the Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth St.,
Parkersburg, and an hour prior to services on
Thursday at the church.
