Jack Walker Redin
St. Marys, WV

Jack Walker Redin, of St. Marys, born March
12, 2010, went to be with the Lord Jesus on
Wednesday, June 13, 2012.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather,
Wm. Ben Redin.

He was the beloved son of Lonnie and April
Redin and cherished brother of Lydia. He is
also survived by his grandparents, Betty Redin
of Walker and Rev. Tom and Tammy Blake of St.
Marys; aunts and uncles, Ben and Nancy Redin
of Walker, Rosetta Joiner of Kansas, Jill
Blake of St. Marys, Mandy and John Conger of
Vienna, and Jason and Crystal Blake of Charles
Town; as well as many cousins.

Jack was the sunshine of his family's lives.
He loved his dogs and his books. Jack attended
The People's Church of Williamstown, and he
loved to sing The "B-I-B-L-E" and then
shout "Football!"

Services will be held Saturday, June 16, at 2
p.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth St.,
Parkersburg, with the Rev. Tom Blake, Rev.
Mark Hess, Rev. Ivan Asbury and Rev. Jim
Varney officiating.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. today and
beginning at noon on Saturday at the funeral
home. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet
Cemetery of Parkersburg..

Ruth Hines Green
Belleville, WV

Ruth Hines Green, 92, of Belleville, W.Va.,
passed away June 9, 2012, at the Willows
Nursing Center in Parkersburg.

She was born Sept. 13, 1919, at Belleville, a
daughter of the late Jacob and Artie Hines.

She had been an employee of the American
Viscose.

Surviving are two sons, John (Peggy) Moorman
of Piqua, Ohio, and Raymond Roussica of Los
Angeles, Calif.; one daughter, Jeannie Morris
of Florida; and five grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded
in death by two brothers, Cecil and Darrell
Hines; and a half sister, Martha Carson.

There will be a graveside service at 11 a.m.
Tuesday at Anderson Cemetery at Belleville
with Pastor John Barker officiating. There
will be a brief period of visitation Tuesday
from 9:30-10:15 a.m. at Kimes Funeral Home,
521 Fifth St. Parkersburg, before proceeding
to the cemetery.

Jewell Ellen (Judy) Rake
Mineral Wells, WV

Jewell Ellen "Judy" Rake, 68, of Mineral
Wells, passed away June 5, 2012, at her home.
She was also affectionately
called "Mam", "Mammie", "Mamaw", "Mamogram", "S
lamaw", "Judy Judy Judy", "Mert", Mic"
and "Gracie".

She was born on Feb. 15, 1944 in Mason County,
a daughter of the late Frank Joseph and Retha
Almira Persinger Henry.

Judy was of the Baptist Faith and had worked
as a cook for the Liberty Truck Stop for 14
years and she had also worked in the
Upholstery Business.

Judy was a very social person who enjoyed
going to yard sales, knitting and crochet.

Surviving are two daughters, Theresa M. Rake
(Mark Thompson) of Mineral Wells and Christel
V. (Greg) Riggleman of Bellevue, Ohio; one
stepson, Barry Jonathan (Patty) Rake, of Gulf
Port, Miss. and a stepdaughter, Debbra Rake of
Tampa, Fla.; grandchildren, Sean Wilhelm of
Moundsville, Ashley Wilhelm of Mineral Wells,
Brandon Blosser of Rockport, Bria Backus of
Mineral Wells, Cody Duncan of Bellevue, Ohio,
Cassie Riggleman of Shreve, Ohio, Brittany
Riggleman of New London, Ohio, Triston
Riggleman of Rittman, Ohio, Natalie Rake of
Gulf Port, Mariette Rake of Tampa, Jessica
Wilson of Washington, W.Va. and Brooke Naylor
of Rockport; one great-grandchild, Peyton
Stewart of New London, Ohio, and one expected
in five months.; two brothers, Harley (Karen)
Henry of Toledo, Ohio, and Steve Henry of
Point Pleasant; two sisters, Lottie Woodard of
Ravenswood and Kathy (Louie) Mata of Toledo
and many nieces and nephews. She is also
survived by her best friend, Patricia Vaughn
of Parkersburg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded
in death by her husband, Dale Rake in 2003; a
stepson, Roger Dale Rake and a granddaughter,
Rachel Rake; six brothers, Bob, Oadie, Day,
Kirk, Bud and Tutty Henry; one sister,
Patricia Duncan; a niece, Amy Henry and two
nephews, Louie Mata Jr. and Oak Duncan.

The funeral service will be held 11 a.m.
Friday at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth
Street, Parkersburg. Pastor John Barker will
officiate and burial will follow at the
Pleasant Home Cemetery at Belleville. The
visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today and an
hour prior to the service on Friday.

Kelly Breanna Foster
Cairo, WV

Kelly Breanna Foster, 20, of Cairo, W.Va.,
passed away June 4, 2012, at her home
following an extended illness and is now
looking forward to the Lord's return.

She was born Nov. 7, 1991 in Jasper, Ga., a
daughter of Victoria Vanneste and her
stepfather, Robert Harriman. She attended
Tollgate Seventh Day Adventist Church and also
the Parkersburg Church of God in Mineral
Wells, W.Va. She was a member of the
Pathfinders Club at Tollgate, was in 4-H and
was on the prom committee at Ritchie County
High School.

Along with her mother and stepfather, she is
survived by one brother, Lenny Vanneste
(Chris); five sisters, Ana DuPerron, Lori
Bryant (William) all of Michigan, Katie
Foster, Lizzie Foster and Rynn Foster all of
Cairo. She also leaves behind the love of her
life, Kory Cottrill.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday,
June 24, 3 p.m. at the Tollgate Seventh Day
Adventist Church with Pastor Daniel Morikone
officiating.

Michael Dale (Mike) Wells
parkersburg, Wv

Michael Dale "Mike" Wells, 70, of Parkersburg,
passed away May 30, 2012, at his home
following an extended illness.

He was born March 6, 1942 at Grove Port, Ohio,
a son of the late Cecil G. and Doris E. Cook
Wells.

Mike attended Gilmore High School and was a 38-
year employee of the Ames Company. He was a
member of the Gospel Tabernacle Church and
former member of the Larkmead Faith Tabernacle
Church where he served as a deacon for 20
years.

He enjoyed four wheeling, car racing, working
on cars and woodworking. He also enjoyed
attending church revivals.

Surviving is his loving wife, Sharon S. Foggin
Wells; one son, Stephen R. (Michelle) Wells of
Parkersburg and a daughter, Cindy S. Baker
(Timothy O.) of Parkersburg; and a daughter-in-
law, Marina Wells; seven grandchildren, Amanda
S. (Joseph) Carpenter, Timothy O. Baker Jr.,
Chelsie Renee Wells, John Michael (Lydia)
Wells II, Brett Wells, Marisa Wells and Bryson
Wells; one great-grandchild, Noah Carpenter;
one sister, Reva Buckbee of Parkersburg.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in
death by a son, John Michael Wells I; a
grandson, Keith Robert Wells and a brother,
Thomas Wells.

The funeral service will be held 1 p.m.
Saturday at the Gospel Tabernacle Church at
1400 Pike Street at 11th Avenue. Pastor Wayne
Boone, Pastor Lawrence Conger Jr. and
Evangelist Larry Rice will officiate and
burial will follow at Evergreen North
Cemetery. The visitation will be today from 2-
8 p.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth
Street, Parkersburg and an hour prior to the
service at the church on Saturday.

James Irvin Wilson
Parkersburg, WV

James Irvin Wilson, 76, of Unity Plaza,
Parkersburg, passed away May 29, 2012, at
Camden Clark Medical Center, St. Joseph's
Campus.

He was born at Vandergrift, Pa., on July 12,
1935. He worked at Furniture Upholstering for
50 years. He is survived by his wife, Jean
Sims Wilson. At his request, there will be no
service and no visitation.

Kimes Funeral Home & Cremation Services is in
charge of his cremation.
