Jesse "Jack" Plumley
Parkersburg, WV

Jesse J. "Jack" Plumley, 70, of Washington,
W.Va., passed away May 2, 2012, at Camden
Clark Medical Center-Memorial Campus.

He was born Jan. 6, 1942 in Hinton, son of the
late Jesse C. and Gladys (Gill) Plumley.

Surviving is his wife, Garnette, and daughters
Kim Hunt of Parkersburg and Lynn (Alan) Dyer
of Pinch; five granddaughters, Jessica
(Brandon) Ellis, Ashley Weathersbee and
Kaitlyn, Jacklyn, and Kimberlyn Dyer, as well
as two great-granddaughters, Nevaeh
Weathersbee and Lily Ellis. Also surviving is
a brother, Ryan (Freda) Plumley of Hinton and
a sister, Linda VonderLinde of Tucson, Ariz.;
a brother-in-law, Ronald Buckland (Terry) of
Phoenix, Ariz. and a sister-in-law, Freda
McVay, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was a member of the Searchers' Sunday
School Class, the Care Cell of the Carpenter
and the KoCo program at St. Paul's United
Methodist Church. He also served as a trustee
and usher there and helped with the
Parkersburg Urban Ministries housed at St.
Paul's. More recently he became a member of
the Grace Baptist Church.

Jack's wish was that all would know he was a
Christian.

The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday
at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth Street,
Parkersburg. Rev. Todd Hill will officiate and
burial will be at Sunset Memory Gardens.

The visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
on Saturday and an hour prior to the service
on Sunday.

Leona Mae McCauley
Parkersburg, WV

Leona Mae McCauley, 91, of Parkersburg and a
two-and-a-half-year resident of Wyngate
Assisted Living, went home to be with her Lord
and Savior from the Willows Nursing Home on May
1, 2012.

She was born at Belleville, W.Va., a daughter
of the late Peter Franklin and Anna Mae Hayes
Sellers.

Leona was a member of North Parkersburg Baptist
Church and had more recently attended Liberty
Street Church of God. She had worked as a
secretery at American Viscose and was a member
of the Postal Workers Ladies Auxiliary. She
most enjoyed being a homemaker and mother and
truly loved and enjoyed her grandchildren.

Surviving are her two daughters, Sharon (Rusty)
Roten of Parkersburg and Karen (Chuck) Leisure
of Elizabeth; four grandchildren, Rebekah Mae
(Tony) Roten Postlewait, James E. (Erin) Roten
III, Michael David Roten and Jennifer Leisure
Lane; and five great-grandchildren, Hadassah,
Collin and Noah Lane and Rowen and Caethon
Postlewait.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in
death by her husband, David L. McCauley in
2001; twin sons; four brothers, William "Bill"
Sellers, Howard Sellers, Carroll Sellers and
Kenneth Sellers; and two sisters, Myrtle
Badgett and Lena Agnes Smith.

The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at
Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth St., Parkersburg.
Pastor Jamie Roten and Pastor Brian Harrell
will officiate and burial will follow at Mt.
Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday
from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.

Lovica Lois Edgell
Parkersburg, WV

Lovica Lois Edgell, 90, of Parkersburg, passed
away April 28, 2012, at the Arbors of Marietta
where she has been a resident for the past
three years.

She was born March 24, 1922, at Smithville,
W.Va., a daughter of the late Robert Roscoe
and Dovie Leota Drake Edgell.

Lovica had worked at various places during her
life and also worked taking care of older
people.

Surviving are two sons, Benjamin R. Shields of
Vienna and Francis R. Shields of Petroleum;
one daughter, Freda M. Wilson of Petroleum and
some grandchildren; two sisters, Betty L. Ward
of Williamstown and Zella L. Sinnett of
Belpre, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded
in death by 10 brothers and sisters; and two
sons, Wayne and Michael Shields.

The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at
Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth St.,
Parkersburg. Pastor John Barker will officiate
and burial will follow at Evergreen South
Cemetery. The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m.
today and one hour prior to the service on
Tuesday.

James Eric Jenkins
Elizabeth, WV

James Erc Jenkins, of Elizabeth, W.Va., passed
away April 27, 2012, in Parkersburg.

At his request, there will be no services or
visitation. Kimes Funeral Home & Cremation
Services is assisting the family.

Robert (Bob) Keltner
Parkersburg, WV

Robert "Bob" Keltner, 76, of Parkersburg and
Sarasota, Fla., and a more recent resident of
Wyngate, passed away April 23, 2012, at the
Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.

He was born April 11, 1936 in Wood County, the
son of the late Earl L. and Chloe Hendershot
Keltner. He was a former local attorney and
businessman. He was a member of Trinity United
Methodist Church and the Ft. Neal Kiwanis Club.

Surviving are cousins, Carl Allman of
Parkersburg, Fred Allman of Mineral Wells,
Lorena Patterson of Parkersburg, Mary Casto of
Rockport, Velma Beha of Parkersburg, Clarden
Allman of Millersburg, Ohio, and Freda Taylor
of Parkersburg. In addition to his parents, he
was preceded in death by four uncles, an aunt
and an infant sister.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m.
Thursday at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth St.,
Parkersburg. Rev. David Stilgenbauer will
officiate. Burial will be at the Mt. Olivet
Cemetery. The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m.
today and one hour prior to the service on
Thursday.

Heather Sue Galloway
Walker, WV

Heather Sue Galloway, 22, of Walker, W.Va.,
passed away April 8, 2012, at her home.

She was born Feb. 5, 1990, in Parkersburg, the
daughter of Victor Ray and Linda Kerby
Galloway of Walker.

Heather was a graduate of Parkersburg High
School.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by
her paternal grandparents, Delmis and Sue
Trembly Galloway of Walker; two half brothers,
Dustin Galloway of Newark and Jarod (Tracy)
Galloway of Bellevue, Nebraska; one niece,
Kaylen Galloway; and two nephews, Eyan and
Bryce Galloway. She is also survived by
several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was
preceded in death by her maternal
grandparents, Virgil and Mary Cale Kerby.

There will be no services and no visitation.
Kimes Funeral Home and Cremation Services of
Parkersburg is assisting the family.

William E Bryan
Parkersburg, WV

William E. Bryan, 85, of Parkersburg, W.Va.,
passed away April 6, 2012.

He was born July 11, 1926 in Washington, D.C.,
a son of the late George and Mildred Bryan.

He was a printer for Federal Lithograph in
Washington, D.C. He was in the U.S. Army and
was a WW II veteran.

He is survived by one step daughter, Beverly
I. (Gary) Barnitz of Belpre, Ohio; two other
stepchildren; one sister, Barbara Fazzi of
Scranton, Pa.; one brother; 6 step
grandchildren; several step great-
grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary A.
Dyer Bryan.

His wishes were to be cremated with no
visitation or services. Kimes Funeral Home and
Cremation Services are assisting the family
with arrangements.
