Thelma Lorene (Pug) Sellers
Belleville, WV

Thelma Lorene "Pug" Sellers, 73, of
Belleville, departed her earthly life and went
to meet her Heavenly Father on Monday, April
15, 2013, at OSU Medical Center in Columbus,
Ohio.

"Who can find a virtuous woman? For her worth
is far above rubies." Proverbs 31:10.

Lorene, or "Pug", as she was often referred
to, was born on Nov. 20, 1939, to the late
Cella C. and Thelma E. Fleak Wright. A 1957
graduate of Parkersburg High School, she
married the love of her life, Robert G. "Bob"
Sellers on June 12, 1959, and was a member of
Hopewell Church of Christ. Lorene was a loving
and devoted wife, and stories are plentiful as
to how she woke up every morning at the crack
of dawn, as she would say, to cook Bob
breakfast and pack his lunch before he left
for work. Together, they built their life in
Belleville and spent the majority of their 53
years of marriage together tending to the farm
and the cattle, while raising their only
child, a daughter, Beth Ann (Sellers) Harvey.
Lorene was a kind woman with a gentle heart
and never had a harsh word to say. Not only a
wife and a mother, she was also a sister, an
aunt, a cousin, a friend and a grandmother;
she was everyone's grandmother. She kissed boo-
boos, held hands, gave hugs, wiped tears and
never missed an opportunity to say, "I love
you." She was also an excellent cook and not
only did no one go hungry at Grandma's, no
holiday was complete without Grandma's pies.
She will be missed more than words can ever
describe, but never to be forgotten, she will
live on in the hearts and memories of those
who loved and cherished her. While the world
may have lost a ruby, Heaven gained a diamond.

Preceded in death by her parents, and a
brother, Harold E. Wright, she is survived by
her husband, Robert G. "Bob" Sellers; a
daughter, Beth A. Harvey; her son-in-law,
Donald S. Harvey, both of Belleville; two
grandsons, Brandon R. Harvey of Belleville,
and Adam C. Harvey; a granddaughter-in-law,
Courtney B. Harvey; and a great-grandson,
Alexander "Lex" D. Hinton, son of Adam and
Courtney, all of Parkersburg, W.Va. She is
also survived by her sisters, Geraldine M.
(Dale) Deem and A. Irene Townsend of
Belleville; a brother, Darrell L. Wright of
Belleville; special friends, Bill, Kelly, Evan
and Karena Clark and Mike and Brenda
Cunningham; as well as several nieces,
nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held 2-8 p.m. Thursday at
Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th Street in
Parkersburg. Services scheduled for 2 p.m.
Friday, with Evangelist Randy Baker
officiating. Interment will follow at
Wadesville Cemetery in Belleville
