Richard Thomas Seebaugh
Stillwell, WV

Richard Thomas Seebaugh, 60, of the Stillwill
Commuity, passed away Oct. 24, 2014, at
Riverside Hospital in Columbus.

He was born on July 18, 1954, in Parkersburg,
a son of Iona O. Schreckengost Seebaugh of
Parkersburg, and the late Thomas Seebaugh.

Richard worked as a Field Service Instructor
at WVU-P and was a National Firefighter
Instructor. He worked as an EMT for 15 years
and was a member of the Eastwood Volunteer
Fire Department and was a former member of the
Blennerhassett and Lubeck Volunteer Fire
Departments. He and his wife also owned a
horse farm at Stillwell; he built race cars
and enjoyed Dirt Track Racing.

Surviving is his wife, Laura Joan Mock
Seebaugh; one daughter, Julie Seebaugh of
Belpre; two step-sons, Sean W Brady of
Burlington, N.C., and Richard P. Brady of
Marietta; one brother, Randy Seebaugh of
Vincent, Ohio; and a sister, Janice Boston of
Coolville.

There will be a memorial service for family
and friends at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, at
the Eastwood Volunteer Fire Department, with
Pastor Michael Sauers speaking, as well as
others.

Kimes Funerall Home & Cremation Services of
Parkersburg is assisting the family.

Contributions may be made in Richard's memory
to the Eastwood Volunteer Fire Department.

Keith Leon Bosley
Belpre, OH

Keith Leon Bosley, of Belpre, passed away on
Oct. 10, 2014, after an extended illness.

Arrangements were accommodated by Kimes
Funeral Home.

There will be no services, but he is
remembered fondly by his family.

Joanne Taitt
Parkersburg, WV

Joanne Patricia Ballengee Taitt, 82, of
Parkersburg, passed away Oct. 9, 2014, at
Camden Clark Medical Center.

She was born on Sept. 5, 1932, at Clifton
Forge, Va., daughter of the late William Henry
and Mary Valeta Coulter Ballengee.

Joanne graduated from the Greenbrier College
for Women, graduated with an Associates of
Arts degree from Greenbrier College and
received her BS degree in chemistry from West
Virginia University. She retired from Kaiser
Aluminum as a chemist.

She was a member of Mt. Pleasant United
Methodist Church, was a member of the Vienna
Chapter Order of the Eastern Star for over 50
years, and was a member and past president of
the Vienna Garden Club where she garnered many
awards in creative and Japanese designs. Her
hobbies included music, travel, photography
and playing the piano.

Surviving are many cousins and a nephew,
Fredrick (Gina Kuhl) Griffith of Elizabeth
Pike.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded
in death by her husband, Charles Edward Taitt,
to whom she was married to for 8 years, and
enjoyed the rest of their lives together in
wedded bliss.

The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday at
Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth St.,
Parkersburg. The Rev. Kevin Lantz will
officiate and burial will follow at Mt. Olivet
Cemetery. The visitation will be noon-2 p.m.
Monday at the funeral home.

Ada Juanita McPeek
Parkersburg, WV

Ada Juanita McPeek, 86, of Parkersburg passed
away Oct. 8, 2014, at Thomas Memorial Hospital
in South Charleston.

She was born at Munday, W.Va., on Dec. 22,
1927, a daughter of the late Cecil Jackson and
Stella Ann McIntyre Belt.

Juanita was a Baptist and had been employed by
American Viscose, and had also been employed
at Yeilkeys Hamburger Shop and the Big Bear
Grocery Store. She loved her yard and
gardening, quilting, and dearly loved her pet
cats.

Surviving is her son, James Edward (Cindy)
McPeek Jr. of Vienna; her daughter, Sandra Kay
McPeek of Parkersburg; one step-grandson, John
McDonald of Charlotte, N.C.; two brothers,
Mitchell (Helen) Belt of Vienna, and Kenneth
Belt of Munday; two sisters, Barbara Ann
(Paul) Holbert of Pettyville, and Pauline May
of Belmont; and several nieces and nephews.
Also surviving is her special friend, Sydney
Lewis, who was very dear and near to her
heart. In addition to her parents, she was
preceded in death by her husband, James E.
McPeek Sr.; brothers, Darris, Chester, Virgil,
and Robert Belt; and sisters, Freda Belt and
Cleota Smith.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m.
Saturday at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth St.,
Parkersburg. Pastor John Barker will officiate
and burial will follow at Evergreen South
Cemetery. The visitation will be from 4-7 p.m.
today, and an hour prior to the service on
Saturday at the funeral home.

Ralph Lucas
Belleville, WV

Ralph Junior Lucas, 87, of Belleville, W.Va.,
passed away Oct. 2, 2014.

There will be no service or visitation.

Everett Donald McCroskey
Walker, WV

Everett Donald McCroskey Sr., 90, of Walker,
W.Va., passed away Oct. 1, 2014, at Camden
Clark Medical Center.

He was born on May 15, 1924, at Sanoma in Wirt
County, a son of the late Melvin D. and
Virginia Richards McCroskey.

Everett was a graduate of Wirt County High
School, had served in the U.S. Navy during
World War II, and was a member of the Kanawha
Baptist Church. He retired from Elkem Metals
with 32 years of service. He enjoyed hunting
and fishing and Country, Bluegrass, and Gospel
Music.

Surviving is his wife, Mary J. Southern
McCroskey; two sons, Everett D. "Buck"
McCroskey Jr. of Parkersburg and Brandon
(fiancee, Kathy Lensberry) McCroskey of
Mineral Wells; six grandchildren, Shayne,
Zachary, Tracy, Miranda, Ashley and Brandi;
and six great-grandchildren, Clayton, Landon,
Dillon, Tiana, Noah and Wyatt. In addition to
his parents, he was preceded in death by his
daughter and son-in-law, Tonya Lee McCroskey
Duckworth and Channing Duckworth; a
granddaughter, Christy Duckworth; two
brothers, Burton and Jewel McCroskey; and four
sisters, Hetty Matics, Nellie Ashley, Nina
Boice and Tessie Jeffrey.

There will be a graveside service held at 11
a.m. Friday, Oct. 3, at the Kanawha Baptist
Cemetery. Pastor Jerry Caplinger will
officiate and burial will follow.

There will be a viewing and gathering of
friends and family from 4-7 p.m. today and
from 9:30-10:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, at Kimes
Funeral Home before proceeding to the cemetery.

Delores Whited
Calhoun County, WV

Delores Lee Whited, 53, of Calhoun County,
passed away Sept. 28, 2014, at her home.

She was born Oct. 11, 1960, in Parkersburg, a
daughter of the late Lennie B. and Leona G.
Eddy Metz.

Delores was a graduate of the Calhoun County
High School and had been employed at Simonton
Windows. She enjoyed her children and
grandchildren, and enjoyed spending time at
her parents farm.

Surviving is her husband of 33 years, Jack
Whited; one son, Kenneth (Angela) Whited of
Charleston, S.C.; one daughter, Britni (Tyson)
Price of Glenville, W.Va.; two grandchildren,
Ian Whited and Haley Whited; three brothers,
Leonard (Linda) Metz of Mt. Zion, Robert
(Linda) Metz of Rockport and Lennie (Nancy)
Metz Jr. of Parkersburg; and two sisters,
Sharon (Carl) Wilson and Karen (Alvin) Reed,
both of Parkersburg. In addition to her
parents, she was prececed in death by her
infant twin brother, Lewis Metz.

There will be a private family memorial held
at the convenience of the family.

Kimes Funeral Home & Cremation Services is
assisting the family.

Memorial donations may be made to the
Burnsville Hospice at #71 S. Main Street,
Burnsville, WV 26335.
