Pamela Joyce Reid
Parkersburg, WV

Pamela Joyce Reid, 53, of Parkersburg, passed
away at her residence on Oct. 8, 2013.

She was born on Nov. 20, 1960, a daughter of
the late Lena Whipkey and George Starcher.

She was a member of the Bethany U.M. Church in
Parkersburg and attended P.H.S.

She is survived by her husband, Roger Reid, a
daughter Pamela Boyd of Pennsylvania, four
brothers, Dale (Grace) Starcher of
Parkersburg, George Starcher of Columbus,
Ohio, Denver Starcher of Parkersburg and Butch
Starcher; two sisters, Barbara (Richard) Davis
of Mineral Wells and Hilda Starcher of North
Carolina; two grandchildren, Kindra and Amber
Boyd and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by one brother,
Roger Starcher.

A memorial service is planned for Sunday, Oct.
13, at 5:30 p.m. at the Bethany U.M. Church,
corner of Lynn and Wood Street, Parkersburg
with Rev. Mike Broadwater officiating.

Kimes Funeral Home & Cremation Services of
Parkersburg is assisting the family with
arrangements.

Isabelle Kae Pearse
Marietta, OH

Isabelle Kae Pearse, 62, of Marietta, Ohio,
passed away at the Genesis Marietta Center on
Oct. 8, 2013.

There will be a private memorial service at
the convenience of the family.

Kimes Funeral Home & Cremation Services is
assisting the family.

Janet Sue Crigger
Parkersburg, WV

Janet Sue Crigger, 72, of Parkersburg, passed
away Oct. 6, 2013, at the Arbors of Marietta.

She was born Dec. 21, 1940 in Parkersburg, a
daughter of the late Florence Ruble Dotson and
Berl Dotson. Janet spent many years working as
a pharmacy Technician and retired from this
job from St. Joseph's Hospital in 2004.

She loved bowling, football and spending time
with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was a member of the New Hope Baptist
Church.

Janet is survived by her husband of 53 years,
Robert Eugene Crigger; two sons, Michael Jay
Crigger of Parkersburg and Kevin Scott
(Rachel) Crigger of Holly Springs, N.C.; a
daughter-in-law, Sonya Mae West Crigger; two
sisters, Cora Lee Dotson Perdue of Parkersburg
and Patsy Jean Dotson Evans (Stanley) Pittman
of Vienna; one brother, Robert B. (Cathie)
Dotson of Williamstown; five grandchildren,
Amber Crigger (Diego) Rivero, Eric Crigger,
Courtney and Aiden Crigger and Cole Nutter;
two great-grandchildren, Donte and Albany
Rivera.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded
in death by a brother, Douglass Dotson, and a
son, Robert Todd Crigger.

There will be a memorial service held at 3
p.m. Wednesday at the New Hope Baptist Church
on Rosemar Road.

Parkersburg is assisting the family.

Timothy Adam Rollyson
Parkersburg, WV

Timothy Adam Rollyson, 56, of Parkersburg,
passed away Oct. 4, 2013, at Camden Clark
Medical Center.

He was born July 23, 1957, in Parkersburg, a
son of Ethel Ware Rollyson of Parkersburg and
the late Ernest Rollyson.

He is survived by two children; one brother,
Mark Rollyson; and two sisters, Jennifer
Kelley and Connie Hanscome, all of Parkersburg.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in
death by brothers, Mike, Donnie and Robert
Rollyson; and sisters, Kathy Rollyson and
Missy Rollyson.

There will be no service or visitation.

Kimes Funeral Home & Cremation Services of
Parkersburg is assisting the family.

Danny Everett Whitlatch, 71, of Parkersburg,
passed away April 18, 2015, at his home with
his family by his side.

He was born Dec. 30, 1943, in Wood County a
son of the late Ernest Franklin and Mabel Ruth
Anderson Whitlatch Sr.

Danny was a member of the End Time Harvest
Church, had graduated Hocking Technical
College in 1972, Parkersburg Technical College
in 1975 and Parkersburg Community College in
1976. He was in Sales and was also a Ceramic
Engineer for O'Homel Company. He served in the
U.S. Army where he spent time in Germany. He
taught Automotive and Welding at WVU-P, was a
past member of NRA and was also an avid golfer
and hunter.

He is survived by his wife, Sharlene
(Vandergrift) Whitlatch, and one son, Eric
Daniel Whitlatch, both of Parkersburg; three
daughters, Kimberly Dawn Conley of Tampa,
Fla., Monica Lynn Fiorini (Dave) of
Springfield, Ohio, and Denise Marie Whitlatch
(Tricia Yeary) of Miamisburg, Ohio.

He is also survived by three brothers, Ernest
Franklin Whitlatch Jr., Ray David Whitlatch
and Mark Edward Whitlatch, all of Parkersburg;
one sister, Gladys Parsons of Ravenswood,
W.Va.; one sister in law, Geraldine Whitlatch
of Dallison, W.Va.; eight grandchildren; and
10 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in
death by eight siblings.

The funeral service will be 7 p.m. Wednesday,
April 22, 2015, with Pastor Frena Morehead
officiating at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth
St. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Wednesday
prior to the funeral service. At his request,
cremation will follow.

Roger Lee Powell
Parkersburg, WV

Roger Lee Powell Sr., 71, of Parkersburg,
passed away April, 16, 2015, at home.

He was born March 21, 1944, a son of the late
Marshall Hutson and Clarris Powell.

Roger was a Baptist by faith, a U.S. Army
veteran and retired from Schott Glass as a
Machinist. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and
enjoyed restoring and repairing automobiles.

Survivors include one son, Roger Powell Jr.
(Marie Rose) of Tampa Fla.; three half
sisters, Sue Leggett, Kay Hendershot and Patty
McNeil; and six grandchildren.

In addition to his parents predeceasing him
are his wife Norma Jean Powell; three sisters,
Geannie Davis, Jan Baker and Gloria Drain; two
brothers, Gayle Hutson and Garry Hutson; and
one grandson, Braun Marshall Powell.

A memorial gathering will be held from 4-7
p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at Kimes Funeral
Home 521 Fifth St., with a memorial service to
follow at 7 p.m. Pastor Jerry Caplinger will
officiate. Burial of the ashes will be at the
convenience of the family at Sunset Memory
Gardens.

Mary Wigal
Parkersburg, WV

Mary M. Wigal, 93, of Parkersburg, passed away
April 4, 2015, at the Parkersburg Care &
Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Aug. 14, 1921, in Wood County, a
daughter of the late Clay and Mae Sullivan
Watkins, Sr.

Mary had attended the Camden Avenue church of
Christ, Mineral Wells church of Christ, and
Mt. Hope United Methodist Church. She had
worked for the American Viscose and the Wirt
County Board of Education, and was a
homemaker. She also enjoyed doing latchhook.

She is survived by two sons, Lawrence "Larry"
(Mary) Wigal Jr. of Mineral Wells, and William
L. "Bill" (Sharon) Wigal of Palestine; her
grandchildren, Lori Tanner, Lisa (James)
Brodie, Todd (Jennifer) Wigal, and William R.
(Natalie) Wigal; seven great-grandchildren; a
special nephew, Bob Wigal; and several other
nieces and nephews. In addition to her
parents, she is preceded in death by her
husband, Lawrence Wigal Sr.; one infant
daughter, Loretta Wigal; two brothers, Clay
Watkins Jr. and George Watkins; and two
sisters, Lula Cline and Betty Wigal.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday,
April 8, at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth St.,
Parkersburg, with her son, Evangelist Larry
Wigal Jr. officiating and burial following at
the Limestone Cemetery, Rockport. Visitation
will be 4-8 p.m. today and one hour prior to
services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
