William Eaton
Whitesboro, NY

William G. (Bill) Eaton, 88, of Whitesboro,
N.Y., passed away on April 2, 2015, at his
home after a brief illness.

He was born on Oct. 12, 1926, to the late Otto
and Charlotte (Emerick) Eaton in Mineral
Wells, W.Va.

Shortly after graduating from Parkersburg
(W.Va.) High School, he served in World War II
with the 508 Parachute Infantry Regiment of
the 82nd Airborne Division. After the war,
Bill moved to Silver Spring, Md., where he
married his late wife, Darla (Amos) on July
29, 1949. While in Maryland, he earned a
degree from the Capital Radio Engineering
Institute in practical radio engineering.

In 1952, they moved to Columbus, Ohio, where
they lived for the next 11 years, during which
time Bill earned a degree from Ohio State
University in electrical engineering and their
four children were born. In 1963, Bill and his
family moved to Charlotte, N.C., where he was
employed as an engineer with the
McDonnell/Douglas Corporation. Three years
later, they moved to Utica, N.Y., where he
began his career with General Electric Company
in the Aerospace Electronics Systems
Department. Bill retired from GE in 1988.

He was a long-standing member of Westminster
Presbyterian Church in Utica, where he helped
found and directed for many years the church's
Our Daily Bread program, a weekly soup kitchen
and food pantry.

His favorite past times included golf and
completing crossword puzzles alone and with
his two daughters.

He is survived by three of his children,
William G. (Jerry) Eaton Jr. of Atlanta, Mark
Eaton of Whitesboro, and Elaine Borek and her
husband, Wayne, of Malta, N.Y.; grandchildren,
Karesa Eaton of Atlanta, and Paul Pefferman
and his wife, Susan, of Savannah, Ga.; two
great-grandchildren, Johnnie and Kieley of
Atlanta; and sisters, Bonnie Sams and Wilma
Waldron Starcher, both of Parkersburg. He was
predeceased by his daughter, Charlotte Eaton;
four brothers, Denzil, Chester, Samuel, and
David; and three sisters, Ruth Shaver, Doris
(Sis) Hendrickson, and Norma Oiler.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m.,
Friday, April 10, at the Pond Creek Baptist
Church, Belleville. Internment will
immediately follow in Pond Creek Baptist
Church Cemetery, with pastor Lester Morgan,
officiating. Friends may call one hour prior
to services at the church building.

Juanita Ferrell
Lower Salem, OH

Juanita Ferrell, 59, of Lower Salem, Ohio,
passed away March 26, 2015, at Marietta
Memorial Hospital.

She was born Oct. 3, 1955, in Akron, Ohio, a
daughter of the late Leo Boggs and Virginia
Yerkey of Lower Salem, Ohio.

She is survived by her only son, Nathan
(Maria) Sperrow of Ewa Beach, Hawaii; and two
grandchildren, Christian and Jonathan Sperrow.
She is preceded in death by her step-father,
Jesse Yerkey.

At the request of her family, there will be no
visitation or funeral service.

Neva Smith
Belleville, WV

Neva Smith went to be with her husband and her
heavenly Father, March 26, 2015. She died at
home with her sister, Ruthie; daughter, Judy;
and son-in-law, Ron, by her side.

She was born June 7, 1922, in Belleville,
W.Va. She was the daughter of the late Eldon
and Grace (Pierce) Hall.

As a woman of faith, she was a member of the
Milhoan Baptist Church. Her church family was
so special to her. She was a great cook and
known for her chocolate cake. Her family was
her hobby and joy. She also loved deer season,
when her family came home to hunt, especially
with her nephew, Jim White.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy (Smith)
Stephens (Ron) of Ravenswood, W.Va.; one son,
Jerry Smith (Allyson) of Waxhaw, N.C.; one
grandson, Ronald Stephens (Joette) of Bunker
Hill, W.Va.; three granddaughters, Kristi
Stephens Gross (Greg) of Lake Wylie, S.C., and
Morgan and Clarke Smith of Waxhaw, N.C.; six
great-grandsons, Ronald (R.J.), Cameron and
Jacob Stephens of Bunker Hill, W.Va.,
Kristopher, Jackson and Connor Gross of Lake
Wylie, S.C.; two sisters, Doris Swartz of
Ravenna, Ohio, and Ruth Carmichael of
Parkersburg; one brother, Leo Flinn (Mary Lou)
of Venice, Fla.; two sisters-in-law, Doris
Marie Hale of Ravenna, Ohio, and Rita Alden of
Michigan; one brother-in-law, Virgil Anderson
of Ravenswood, W.Va.; and several nieces and
nephews. She was preceded in death by her
husband and soul mate, Rex A. Smith; also one
sister, Reva (Hale) White and her husband,
James Hoyt White; three brothers, Orlin Hale
and his wife, Lerah (Flinn) Hale, Harold Hale,
and Argyl Hale; three brothers-in-law, Richard
(Dick) Swartz, Arthur Alden, and Ralph
Carmichael; and sister-in-law, Ruth (Smith)
Anderson.

Just to mention a few of her very special
friends, Ann McComas of St. Albans, Becky
Vannoy of Scott Depot, Joyce Sweeney of
Elkview, W.Va., and Linda Harvey of
Belleville, W.Va.

Our familly would like to express our thanks
to Housecalls Home Health and also Housecalls
Hospice, especially Teresa and Pat. Also one
special lady who helped take care of our mom,
Beth Starcher.

Services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday,
March 28, at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th
Street Parkersburg, with Pastor Dee Rhodes
officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memory
Gardens. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. today at
the funeral home.

David Kimes
Parkersburg, WV

David A. Kimes, 59, of Parkersburg, passed
away March 24, 2015, at Camden Clark Medical
Center following a brief illness.

He was born October 15, 1955 at Parkersburg a
son of the late Glen E. Kimes and Bernice
Sallee Kimes Robinson.

He was an active member of the Mineral Wells
church of Christ where he served as a song
leader, a 1974 graduate of Parkersburg South
High School, a 1976 graduate of PCC, and a
1978 graduate of the Kentucky School of
Mortuary Science, where he served as class
Chaplain. David was a Licensed Funeral
Director and Embalmer in the State of WV for
almost 40 years. Along with his family he
owned and operated Kimes Funeral Home and
Cremation Services.

Survivors include his son D. Bradley Kimes
(Kristy), one grandson Jacob DeLancey Kimes,
two brothers Larry G (Peggy) Kimes, Steven H.
(Debby) Kimes and one sister, Janet L. Kimes,
all of Parkersburg; one step-brother, Steve
(Linda) Perry of Washington; four step-
sisters, Carolyn (Bob) Bernosky of
Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Marty (Fred) Hamilton of
Parkersburg, Pam Perry of Parkersburg and
Sandy (Gary) Murray of Parkersburg; nephew
Robert C. (Randi Lea) Kimes, nieces Jenifer
(Brian) Ault, Angela (Tony) Mohwish, Amy
(Philip) Newbanks, April (Jay) Shreeves, and
one uncle, Herschel E. Kimes Jr. of
Parkersburg and his former wife and longtime
business partner, Kathy Kimes-Black and her
husband, Tom Black, several great nieces and
nephews and step nieces and nephews, and the
many friends and families he served throughout
his career.

Preceding him in death are his parents and
Step-Mother Juanita Perry Kimes.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m.
Tuesday at Kimes Funeral Home, with Evangelist
Larry Wigal officiating, burial will follow at
Sunset Memory Gardens. Calling hours will be
from 2 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home
with a Christian Song Service at 6:30 p.m. led
by Mr. C.J. Vaughan.

Memorial donations should be directed to Love
N Care Personal Care Home in memory of David
Kimes.

Bonnie Caplinger
Parkersburg, WV

Bonnie Beth Caplinger, 69, of Parkersburg,
passed away March 14, 2015, at her home.

A memorial service will be held at a later
date at the convenience of the family.

Kimes Funeral Home & Cremation Services is
assisting the family.

Samuel Eugene Radcliffe
Parkersburg, WV

Samuel Eugene Radcliffe, 60, of Parkersburg,
passed away March 6, 2015, at Camden Clark
Medical Center.

He was born Jan. 21, 1955, in Parkersburg, a
son of the late Jess Willard and Hazel
Elizabeth Morrison Radcliffe.

Surviving are two brothers, James and Jess
Radcliffe; nieces, Vinetta Radcliffe,
Christina Cham, Leeann Balderson and Rebecca
Ankrom; and nephews, John Bailey and Jess Day.

There will be no services or visitation at
this time.

Kimes Funeral Home & Cremation Services is
assisting the family.

Carrie Price Stewart
Waverly, WV

Carrie Price Stewart, 49, died on Saturday,
Feb. 28, 2015, from injuries sustained in a
fire at her home in Waverly, W.Va.

Carrie was born on Aug. 4, 1965, to Frances
and H. Max Price in Charleston, W.Va. Carrie
was a Health Professional in the Mid-Ohio
Valley and enjoyed working and caring for
people in the area.

Carrie is survived by her mother, Frances
Price of Roanoke, Va.; two sons, Geddy and
Seth Stewart of Williamstown; and her two
special Angels, grandsons, Aksel and Dimitri
Stewart. In addition, she is survived by her
four sisters, Karen (Larry) Sexauer of
Parkersburg, Ann (Michael) Heimbuch of Homer,
Alaska, Lynn (David) Ofsa of Athens, W.Va.,
and Sandy (John) Linkous of Roanoke, Va. Also
surviving are loving members of her extended
family, Andrea Stewart (Nick), Nick (Brooke)
Stewart, and mother-in-law, Jennifer Stewart,
all of Williamstown. Carrie also leaves behind
a dear friend and co-worker, Shendra Wentz.
Carrie was preceded in death by her father, H.
Max Price of Charleston; and her father-in-
law, Tom Stewart of Williamstown.

A special fund, "Fire Fund For Aksel and
Dimitri Stewart, " has been set up for Carrie's
two grandsons at Williamstown Bank.

A gathering of friends and family to celebrate
Carrie's life will be held from 12 Noon-2 p.m.
on Saturday, March 7, at Kimes Funeral Home,
521 5th Street, Parkersburg.

Robert Radabaugh
Hamilton, TX

Robert Edward Radabaugh, 54, of Hamilton,
Texas, formerly of Parkersburg, passed away
Feb. 22, 2015, at Baylor, Scott and White
Hospital in Temple, Texas.

He was born July 26, 1960, in Parkersburg, a
son of Rose Marie Mitchell Radabaugh and the
late Robert L. Radabaugh.

He was a truck driver and was employed by
Central Hauling, and also loved farming.

In addition to his mother, Robert is survived
by his wife, Pam Beeson Radabaugh; three sons,
Brandon (Tiffany) Radabaugh of Parkersburg,
Joshua Radabaugh and his girlfriend, Camri
Deleon, of Stephenville, Texas, and Nathan
Radabaugh and his fiancee', April Flathouse,
of Austin, Texas; one brother, Terry Radabaugh
of Washington, W.Va.; five grandchildren,
Jaycee, Jaylynn, and Jordan Norman, Jaxon
Radabaugh, and Bentley Flathouse.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on
Saturday, Feb. 28, at Kimes Funeral Home, 521
5th St., Parkersburg, with Pastor Jim Eakle
officiating, and burial will follow at Sunset
Memory Gardens. The visitation will be from
2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 27, at
the funeral home.
