Joseph Daniel Radiker

Joseph Daniel Radiker, 22, of Elizabeth, W.Va. passed away March 30, 2009, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.

He was born May 5, 1986, in Parkersburg, W.Va., a son of David Russell and Marion Jeanette Radiker of Elizabeth.

Joseph was a graduate of Wirt County High School and was employed with the Pizza Place. He enjoyed fishing and cars.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Jason Radiker of Newark, W.Va.; his paternal grandfather, Clarence Russell Radiker of Parkersburg, W.Va.; and his maternal grandparents, Victor Arden Crislip of North Carolina and Joyce Ann Campbell of Parkersburg, W.Va.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Emmogene Radiker.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2009 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike Street, Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Jerry Caplinger officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until time of services Friday at the funeral home.

Joseph Bert Beech Jr.

Joseph Bert Beech Jr., 65, of Belpre, Ohio passed away March 28, 2009, at Saint Francis Hospital in Charleston, W.Va.

He was born in Clarksburg, W.Va., on June 20, 1943, a son of Catherine Perrie Beech of Clarksburg and the late Joe Beech.

Joseph was in sales and was Catholic by faith. He enjoyed going to the family cabin in Ritchie County.

Joseph is survived by his mother; wife, Carolyn Wood Beech; four daughters, Kim Lugo of Florida, Tina McClung and David of Little Hocking, Ohio, Mandie Brandjes and Jeremy of Little Hocking, Ohio and Shelly Wood of Belpre, Ohio; three sons, Mark Preston of Oregon, Joey Beech and Wendy of Little Hocking, Ohio, and Matt Wood of Sandusky, Ohio; two sisters, Jeannie Williams and Ralph, Linda Daugherty and Danny; two brothers, Eddie Beech and Barb and Michael Beech, all of Clarksburg; 15 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his father; and one son, Brad Wood.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2009 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Blvd., Belpre, Ohio with Jim Lynch officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the K of P Cemetery in Elizabeth, W.Va.

Creed Michael McCauley

Creed Michael McCauley, 59, of Mineral Wells, W.Va., passed away on March 30, 2009, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.

He was born Jan. 23, 1950, in Parkersburg, W.Va., a son of the Wilma Poling McCauley of Mineral Wells, W.Va. and the late Creed McCauley.

Creed was a graduate of PHS class of 1967, retired from Carl E. Smith Inc. as a parts purchaser, was a member of the Mason Lodge 3 and the Nemesis Shrine. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and gardening.

He is survived by his wife, Lillie Reynolds McCauley; one son, Creed Michael McCauley Jr. of Florida; two stepsons, Jason Reynolds of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Michael Hill of Belleville, W.Va.; one W.Va.; one brother, Howard Patrick McCauley of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; one sister, Barbara Fluharty of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; three grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; a special nephew, Howard P. McCauley Jr.; two special nieces, Jill McCauley and Diane Smith McCauley; three great-nephews; one great-niece; cousin, James Radcliff of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; a special friend, Danny Barton of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; five loyal companions, his dogs, Paco, Molly, Muffin, Maddie and Rosie; and numerous other family and friends.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Wilma Jean McCauley; and a stepgrandson, Jess Willard Reynolds.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 2, 2009 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Carl Radcliff officiating. Interment will follow at the family farm on Sams Creek Road, Mineral Wells, W.Va. with Masonic graveside rites. Family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Arnold Anderson Sr.

Arnold J. "Andy" "Sonny" Anderson Sr., 70, of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away on March 30, 2009, at his residence.

He was born Nov. 25, 1938, a son of the late Nick and Mary Ella Browder Anderson in Horry County, S.C.

Andy retired from the City of Parkersburg Fire Department after 20 years of service. He also worked 10 years as an EMT for St. Joseph's Hospital. He operated the Blennerhassett Island Craft Village for several years and was a member of the Waccamaw Indian People of South Carolina. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his wife of more than 44 years, Edna McWilliams Anderson; two daughters, Crystal Shultz of Mineral Wells, W.Va. and Tammy Anderson (Mike) Harlow of Fleming, Ohio; two sons, A.J. (Marsha) Anderson and Robin King, all of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one sister, Bernice Cox of South Carolina; two brothers, Carl Hudson of North Carolina and Nick Anderson of South Carolina; three grandchildren, Tristan Conner Anderson, Mikey Harlow and Dustin Harlow; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2009 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., Parkersburg, W.Va., with Pastor Keith Kapple officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Baptist Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Military graveside rites will be by American Legion Post 15. The Parkersburg City Fire Department will be escorting Mr. Anderson to his final resting place.

Charles "Denny" Metz

Charles "Denny" Metz, 66, of Parkersburg passed away with his family surrounding him after his long battle with brain cancer on March 28, 2009.

He was born Sept. 17, 1942, to the late Charles Watson and Nellie Varner Metz. Denny was a 1961 graduate of Parkersburg High School and retired from GE Plastics in 1998 after 36 years of employment. He had previously worked at the A&P; Market 1958-1963 and worked at Equitable Life Insurance and Union Carbide Plant, Marietta, with his father. Denny was a member of the South Parkersburg United Methodist Church.

Denny is survived by his wife and soul mate with whom he has been with for 52 years, Linda G. Farr Metz; his daughter, Robin (Scott) Sinnett of Coolville; his son, Craig (Gayla) Metz of Vienna; seven grandchildren, Courtney (Mark) Byrd of Parkersburg, Derrick (Natalie) Knapp of Walker, Cody (Sarah) Metz of Avella, Pa., and Kendra, Cole, Cory and Kylie Metz of Vienna; three stepgrandchildren, Morgan and Travis Wright of Vienna and Erica (Josh) Gorrell of Huntington; three great-grandchildren, Braxton Byrd, Maddox Burwell and Hailey Metz; three brothers, Kenneth (Nancy) Metz, Dennis (Nora) Metz and Mickey (Macy) Metz of Parkersburg; two sisters, Cheryl (Bobby) Metz of Little Hocking and Carol (Roger) Sullivan of Parkersburg; his personal chef and nephew, Jon (Kim) Farr; and several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews who looked up to him, calling him "Uncle Denny" and loved him dearly.

Denny was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending time at his family cabin. He loved to ride four-wheelers and spent many weekends leading rides along the back roads of Ritchie County.

Visitation will be from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 30, with funeral services at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg, with Pastor Rick Brown and Pastor Phil Prunty officiating. Interment will follow at the Metz Chapel Cemetery in Ritchie County, where he will be escorted by his son, grandsons, brothers and nephew on his final ride.

Steven Dale "Tom" Ryan

Steven 'Tom' Dale Ryan went home to be with the Lord on May 29, 2009.

He was born in Parkersburg, W.Va., March 22, 1948, son of Earl and Liddie (Prine) Ryan of Rockport, W.Va.

Steve dearly loved bowling, his Chevrolet truck, spending time at Rockport General Store, chocolate milk and watermelon. He also enjoyed visiting with his many friends, watching NASCAR and winning at bingo.

Steve will be sadly missed by his parents, two sisters, Barbara Casto (Roger) of Mineral Wells, W.Va. and Susan Curry (Tim) of Rockport, W.Va.; one brother, Robert 'Bob' Ryan (Janis) of Rockport, W.Va.; nieces and nephews, Angela, Danielle, Michele, Jodi, Betsy, Ashley, Jeff and Scott.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 1, at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg with Rev. Vera Archer and Rev. Everett Snyder officiating. Interment will follow at Big Tygart Cemetery, Rockport section. Family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 31 and one hour prior to service on Monday, June 1, at the funeral home.

Donations in Steve's name may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Reble Fay Egnor

Reble Fay Egnor, 85, of Mineral Wells, W.Va., passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2009, at her residence.

She was born Dec. 6, 1923 in Lincoln County, W.Va., a daughter of the late George and Leotta Cooper Chandler.

Reble was a homemaker, a member of the North End Church of Christ, and received her 50-year pin from the Order of Eastern Star in Spencer, W.Va. Reble loved being with her family.

She is survived by one daughter, Wanda Lou Egnor Linville and her husband Hibbert Linville of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; one son, Richard Egnor of Parkersburg, W.Va.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Troy Chandler of Spencer, W.Va. and George Chandler Jr. of Ripley, W.Va.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Egnor; two brothers, Jess and Buster Chandler; three sisters, Sally Atkins, Eva Gae Paxton and Ethelene Chandler; and a daughter-in-law, Sharon Deane Egnor.

There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2009 at the North End Church of Christ on West Virginia Avenue in Parkersburg with Evangelist Steven Haguewood officiating.

Kristen E. Wagner

Kristen E. Wagner, 47, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away May 25, 2009, after an extended illness at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Montefiore.

She was born in Parkersburg, a daughter of Catherine Anne Ferguson Wagner of Parkersburg and the late Robert W. Wagner. She enjoyed gardening, sports and NASCAR. She was a member of the VFW Post 8127 in Vienna and was a Catholic by faith.

In addition to her mother, Kristen is survived by two brothers and five sisters, David Wagner and Lisa Boone, both of Parkersburg, W.Va., Julia Lesner (Fred) of Teays Valley, W.Va., Melanie Conley (James) and Mark Wagner (Teresa), both of Vienna, W.Va., Jennifer Sullivan (Glenn) of Norman, Okla. and Kelly Furr (Chris) of Little Hocking, Ohio; and eleven nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Memorial services will be 6 p.m. Thursday, May 28, 2009 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Avenue, Vienna, with Father Steve Joseph officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until time of services Thursday at the funeral home.

Rena B. Keller

Rena Bess Keller, 90, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Sunday, May 24, 2009, at her residence.

She was born May 28, 1918, in Charleston, W.Va., a daughter of the late Victoria and Charles Hendricks.

Rena was a homemaker and formerly attended the Celebration Center of Belpre, Ohio. She also enjoyed sewing and crocheting very much, having made several afghans.

She is survived by two sons, Joe Keller and Gene Keller and wife, Karen, all of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one granddaughter, Tara Henderson; one grandson, Shane Keller; and great-grandchildren, Issiah and Peyton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Shirley P. Keller; and one son, Paul Keller.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 28, 2009 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Avenue, Vienna, W.Va. with Pastor Rob Clegg officiating. Interment will follow at the Evergreen South Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Nancy E. Taylor

Nancy Eloise Barnes Taylor, 68, of Vienna, W.Va. went to be with the Lord May 22, 2009.

She was born Jan. 1, 1941 in Marietta, Ohio, a daughter of the late Harry Denver Barnes and Nancy Edith Hanna Barnes Hornish.

Nancy was a graduate of Parkersburg High School. After her high school years, she had worked for Pennzoil, Stern Brothers Inc., Warren School District, and retired from Midland Grocery of Vienna. Nancy was a longtime member of the River Valley Nazarene Church of Vienna, where she was a faithful worker, for over 40 years in the church.

Surviving is her husband of 40 years, Teddy Taylor; her three brothers, Ronald Barnes of Parkersburg, W.Va., Jimmie Barnes of Homosassa, Fla., and Bob Barnes of Vienna, W.Va.; two sisters, Sandra Sandwisch of Round Lake, Ill., and Brenda Williams of Parkersburg, W.Va.; and over seventy nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Todd Alan; a daughter, Lisa Marie; and her sister, Mary Edna Calder of Salisbury, N.C.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at the River Valley Nazarene Church, 1412 27th St., Vienna, W.Va. with the Rev. John Douglas officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday, May 25, 2009 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Avenue, Vienna, W.Va. and Tuesday one hour prior to services at the church.

Mary Lou Pitts

Mary Lou "Lulu" (Jenkins) Pitts, 78, of Vienna, W.Va. passed away at her home May 23, 2009.

She was born April 9, 1931, in Wood County, W.Va., a daughter of the late George and Ethel E. (Deems) Jenkins.

Mary was a 1949 graduate of Parkersburg High School. She enjoyed gardening, genealogy and watching football games. She also loved to spend time with her family.

Mary was the wife of the late John Pitts and is survived by their two sons, Steven E. Pitts and wife, Myra L. (George) and Scott E. Pitts, both of Vienna, W.Va.; three grandchildren, David E. Pitts and wife, Megan (Dennis), of Parkersburg, W.Va., and Stacie L. Pitts and Ashlee A. Pitts, both of Vienna, W.Va.; two great-grandchildren, Molly L. and Jaiden N. Pitts, both of Parkersburg, W.Va.; and one brother, James Jenkins and wife, Sue (Hammer), of Vienna, W.Va.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred Deem and Charles Jenkins; and two sisters, Dorothy (Jenkins) Black and Nancy (Jenkins) Eaton.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, May 28, 2009 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Avenue, Vienna, with Pastor Dan Bryan officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
