Richard H. Henline
Richard H. Henline, age 85, of Buckhannon, WV died Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at his home. He was born March 4, 1930 in West Milford, WV, a son of the late Francis T. and Madge M. Williams Henline. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Nellie Smith. He is survived by three daughters, Carol Smith of Ashburn, VA, Cynthia Henline-Pellerin and husband Mark of Las Vegas, NV and Joretta French of Washington Court House, OH; one son, Richard J. Henline and wife Jenniefer of Fishers, IN; one sister, Shirley Smith of AL and seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Mr. Henline was a Welder. There will be no services. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Rev. Jerry D. Heater
Rev. Jerry D. Heater, age 77 of Buckhannon, WV died Saturday, July 18, 2015 at his home in Buckhannon. He was born March 20, 1938 in Lewis Co., WV, a son of the late Gale and Merle Cochran Heater. On July 24, 1960 he married Madeline Butcher who survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Constance Heater LaFontaine and husband Brian, Alicia Willett and husband Kenny, and Charlotte Heater all of Buckhannon and Glenda Eckes and husband Herb of Clarksburg, WV; three grandsons, Josh and Zeke Willett and Jason Daughtery and wife Danielle all of Buckhannon; three granddaughters, Sarah Casto and husband Whitney of Fairmont, WV and Courtney and Casey Eckes both of Clarksburg; two great grandsons, Eli and Zayne Casto both of Fairmont; two great granddaughters, Eden and Zoe Casto both of Fairmont; one sister, Thelma Butcher of Weston, WV; two brothers, Larry Heater and wife Angie of Buckhannon and Carl Heater and wife Alicia of Weston and several nieces and nephews. He was predceded in death by one brother, Gale Heater, Jr. Rev. Heater served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Faith Tabernacle in Buckhannon. He is a retired minister from the Pentecostal Church of God. Rev. Heater devoted his life to his Savior, wife, children and grandchildren. Friends will be received Tuesday, July 21, 2015 from 6-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Murrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Hampton Cemetery in Hampton, WV. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Roger Lynn 'Winedaddy' Hinchman
Roger Lynn 'Winedaddy' Hinchman, age 59, of Buckhannon, WV died Sunday, August 2, 2015 at his home. He was born December, 5, 1955 in Buckhannon, a son of the late Wilford Cotton and Marie Ware Hinchman. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Faith Marie Gooden; two brothers, William Bill and Jimmy Hinchman; one sister, Bonnie Hinchman; one nephew, Jacob Richardson and two beloved dogs, Tippy & Spikey Boy. Surviving are his daughter, Clara Kid-O Hinchman and fianc Bruce Gooden of Tallmansville, WV; one grandson, Bruce Boogie Gooden of Tallmansville; girlfriend, Debbie Smith of Buckhannon; Ex hateful loving wife, Karen Mouth Ours Hinchman of Buckhannon; five brothers, Bob Hinchman and wife Vicky, John Hinchman and wife Carla and Mark Hinchman all of Buckhannon, Joe Hinchman and wife Angela of TX and Steve Hinchman of NC; three sisters, Jean Linger of French Creek, WV and Fran Marsh and husband Dennis and Darlene Richardson and husband Bill all of Adrian, WV; one sister-in-law, Sandy Hinchman of Buckhannon; several nieces and nephews and best friends Willie and Aggie Corley of KY. Mr. Hinchman was an equipment operator and a Christian by faith. Rogers greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandson Boogie. He loved to hunt and fish. Friends will be received, Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 5-7 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Pat Andrews officiating. Burial will follow in the Lanham Cemetery in Queens, WV. Kathleen 'Kate' May Hinkle
Kathleen 'Kate' May Hinkle, age 93, of Buckhannon, WV died Monday, August 3, 2015 at St. Joseph's NCF in Buckhannon. She was born May 12, 1922 in Webster County, WV, a daughter of the late Otis F. and Ellen Green Beam. On June 17, 1950 she married Verlin Hinkle who preceded her in death in February of 1980. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two daughters, Betty Thren and Martha Sue Davis; four brothers, Orvil, George, Ronald and Almond Beam; three sisters, Juanita Beam, Mildred Pauline Corathers and Ruth Bennett; two sons-in-law, Charles Kimble and Tom Davis. She is survived by three daughters, Sandra Kimble of Buckhannon, Shirley and Patricia Powers both of OH; two sons, Danny Joe Hinkle and wife Debbie and David Eugene Hinkle and wife Deloris all of Buckhannon; ten grandsons, Timothy and Brad McCartney, Johnny and Jerry Holiday and Freddie Seckel all of OH, William Pointer of GA, Jeff Davis of WV, William Davis of Weston, WV, Rob Kimble of Buckhannon and Joe Yeager of Coxs Mills, WV; ten granddaughters, Kris Callhoun and Karen Deihl both of OH, Donna Howard, Jodi Bennett, Melanie Corley, Kelli Dean and Cindy Kotol all of Buckhannon, Jessica Adkins of Weston, Tina Self of Coxs Mills and Beverly Hinton of GA; numerous great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. Kate was a homemaker and a member of the Macedonia United Methodist Church. Friends will be received Wednesday, August 5, 2015 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Rodney Heckert officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavener Cemetery in Buckhannon. Carl Denver Lantz
Carl Denver Lantz, age 89, of Clarksville, TN, died Friday, March 8, 2013 in Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville. He was born August 4, 1923 in Buckhannon, WV, a son of the late Samuel and Virgie Manley Lantz. On May 13, 1943 he married Imogene Reid who preceded him in death on December 15, 1997. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Arthur Lantz and one sister, Thelma Chase. He is survived by two daughters, Paulette Sue Stone and husband Lindon of Buckhannon and Starlene Howes and husband Wayne of Clarksville; three sons, Danny W. Lantz and wife Nancy of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Clyde D. Lantz and wife Sharon and Leonard K. Lantz and wife Rose all of Buckhannon and seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several step grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Lantz served in the US Army during WW II and received a Purple Heart with 2 oak leaf clusters. He retired from Bethlehem Steel. Friends will be received Friday, March 15, 2013 from 1-2 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 2 PM Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Ed Lowther officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon. Buckhannon VFW Post # 3663, Frank B. Bartlett Post # 7 American Legion, DAV Chapters # 5 & # 36 will conduct Military Honors at the graveside. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Rella Haymond
Rella Haymond, age 83, of Buckhannon, WV died Monday, September 14, 2015 at her home. She was born August 14, 1932 in Hacker Valley, WV, a daughter of the late Ira V. and Mintie S. Brake Ware. On October 30, 1964 she married Robert J. Haymond who preceded her in death on December 28, 2007. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one brother, Darrell B. Ware. She is survived by one son, Terry Haymond of Columbus, OH and one brother, Loy D. Ware and wife Gisela of Newman, GA. Mrs. Haymond was a homemaker and attended the Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church. Friends will be received Thursday, September 17, 2015 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 10 AM Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ralph Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Hodom Cemetery in Hacker Valley, WV. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Maxine Fleming Hinkle
Maxine Fleming Hinkle, age 92, of Buckhannon, WV died Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at St. Joseph's NCF in Buckhannon. She was born June 10, 1923 in Flemington, WV, a daughter of the late A. Brooks and Mary Cather Fleming. On July 8, 1947 she married J.D. Hinkle, Jr. who preceded her in death on September 22, 1986. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one daughter, Jan Ellyn Hinkle; one son, John B. Hinkle; two brothers, Patrick C. Fleming and infant brother, Jimmy Fleming and one sister, Betty Fleming Waldo. Surviving are one daughter, Jill H. Cable and husband Robert of Buckhannon; four sons, James D. Hinkle III and wife Cheryl of Rocky Mountain, VA, Jeffrey C. Hinkle and Annie Stimson, Michael M. Waldo and wife Ann, and Mark L. Waldo and wife Carla all of Buckhannon; one daughter in law, Verr Hinkle of Buckhannon; twenty grandchildren and twenty four great grandchildren. Maxine was a member of the Chapel Hill UMC, the Emeritus Club at WVWC and a founding member of the Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. She was an entrepreneur at heart and in 1995 won the Athena Award for Business Woman of the Year. She acquired and renamed the community pool, Hinkles Pool in 1963, where teens enjoyed dances during the summer. In 1976 she added to the family businesses by building the Bicentennial Motel, where she employed a vast amount of young adults and helped them move forward in their careers. Maxine was always caring for families in need and senior citizens. As a grandmother she loved hosting meals and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In Lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to West Virginia Wesleyan College for the Jan Ellyn Hinkle Scholarship Fund; please mail your contributions to WVWC Advancement Office, 59 College Avenue, Buckhannon, WV 26201. Friends will be received Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 4-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 2 PM Sunday at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church with the Rev. Helen Oates officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Justin James Hakes
Justin James Hakes, age 23, of Buckhannon, WV died Monday, September 29, 2014. He was born July 15, 1991 in Pomona, NJ, a son of Mickey Hakes of Tallmansville, WV and Wendy Piacentino Hakes of Buckhannon. Also surviving are two half-brothers, Mickey Jr. and David Lewis Hakes both of ME; maternal grandmother, Emma Piacentino of Hinkleville, WV and paternal grandmother, Ikuko Hakes of Pennsburg, PA. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Frederick Piacentino and his paternal grandfather, Lewis Hakes. Friends will be received Friday, October 3, 2014 from 11 AM to 12 Noon the funeral hour at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark McMillion officiating. Mary Alice Hadsock
Mary Alice Hadsock, age 66, of Ellamore, WV died Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born April 10, 1949 in Buckhannon, WV, a daughter of the late James William Cobb and Wilda Louise Smith Landis. In January 1980 she married Arthur Hadsock who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Charles David Corathers of VA and Michael Shawn Corathers and wife Traci Diane Beckner of Ellamore; one daughter, Lora Quickle and husband Chad of Ellamore; three grandsons, Randy Michael Corathers of Ellamore, Jeffery Hadsock and wife Frieda of FL and Jeffrey Campbell and wife Tristan of the U.S. Air Force; one granddaughter, April Welch of the U.S. Air Force; two great-granddaughters, Gracie Campbell and Alyssa Welch and two brothers, Erwin Butch Cobb of AZ and Ronald Stephen Cobb. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, William James Corathers and two brothers, James and Ralph Edward Cobb. Alpha Pat Hamner
Alpha Pat Hamner, age 59, of Buckhannon, WV died Monday, May 14, 2007 at her home. She was born November 10, 1947 in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Lewis and Naomi Beal Skelton. On June 7, 1970 she married Gail Roger Hamner who survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Melissa Currence and husband Billy of Buckhannon; two granddaughters, Kirsten Currence and Kasey Currence both of Buckhannon; four brothers, Harry Skelton of Phoenix, AZ, Fred Skelton of Baltimore, MD, Gene Skelton of Kingwood, WV and Pete Skelton and wife Millie of Buckhannon; one sister, Katherine Delores Bauer of Oklahoma and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Vera Barber; two brothers, Jeff and Steve Skelton; father in law, George Hamner; mother in law, Arnie (Wyatt) Hamner; one brother in law, George Junior Hamner who died in the Sago Mine Disaster on 1-3-2006 and one sister in law, Louella McKenzie Hamner. Pat was a file and payroll clerk for Moore Business Form for 27 years. She was Pentacostal by faith and her grandchildren were the Sunshine of her life. Friends will be received Wednesday, May 16, 2007 from 5-9 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11 AM on Friday, May 18, 2007 at the funeral home with the Rev. Wease Day and Pastor David Jesse officiating. Burial will follow in the Rock Cave Cemetery at Rock Cave, WV. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Beryl Doris Hall
Beryl Doris Hall, age 85, of Uniontown, PA and formerly of the Hall Community in WV died Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at the Mt. Macrina Manor, Uniontown. She was born on July 21, 1921 a daughter of the late Marvin and Bessie Payne Curkendall. On April 3, 1937 she married Dale E. Hall who preceded her in death August 15, 1998. She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Ann Hodyas and husband Paul of Uniontown; one son, Larry W. Hall and wife Nancy of Bridgeport, WV; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one sister, Joan Simons of Williamsport, OH and six brothers, Deward Curkendall of Painesville, OH, Johan Curkendall of Vienna, WV, Blair Curkendall of Washington, WV, Gary Curkendall of Williamstown, WV, Henry Ronald Curkendall of Volga, WV and Max Curkendall of Parkersburg, WV. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son, Jerry C. Hall; one sister, Mary Smearman; and two brothers, Kenneth and Wayne Curkendall. Mrs. Hall was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church, Hall, WV and member of the Teter CEOs. Beryl was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and homemaker who devoted her life to her family. Friends will be received 6-9 PM Thursday, July 12, 2007 at Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM on Friday, July 13, 2007 at the funeral home with the Reverend Robert Poling officiating. Burial will follow at the Bethany Cemetery in Hall. Donald Ray Hamilton, Jr.
Donald Ray Hamilton, Jr., age 36, of Tallmansville, WV died Saturday, July 28, 2007 at his home. He was born June 30, 1971 in Buckhannon, WV, a son of Donald Ray, Sr. and Brenda Kay Sims Hamilton of Ellamore, WV. On June 20, 1992 he married Cindy Beckner who survives. In addition to his wife and parents he is survived by a son, Donald Ray Hamilton III of Tallmansville; a daughter, Kaitlyn Jane Hamilton of Tallmansville; a brother, John Thomas Hamilton and wife Melissa of Tallmansville; a sister, Lisa Kay Hamilton and companion Kermit Moreland of Ellamore and several nieces and nephews. Donald had been a truck driver and attended Sand Run Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at the Sand Run Baptist Church.
