Patricia Ann Perkins
Patricia Ann Perkins, age 76, of Rt. 5 Buckhannon, WV, died Saturday, December 22, 2007 at Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born February 28, 1931 in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Wade Radabaugh and Greta Fowler Radabaugh Smith. On October 22, 1950 she married Bern Perkins who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Karen Leventry and husband David of Summerhill, PA and Bonnie Jo Mayhew and husband Terry of Romney, WV; one son Jeffrey Perkins currently serving with the US Army in Iraq; also eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was a homemaker, lifetime member of the 4 H All Stars and attended the Buckhannon Union Mission and South Buckhannon Mission Churches. Friends will be received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home Wednesday, December 26, 2007 from 4-8 PM. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday at the funeral home with the Revs. Dennis Estes and Ed Lowther officiating. Burial will follow in the Buckhannon Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Edward O. Perine
Edward Eddie O. Perine, age 87, of 16 High School St. Buckhannon, WV died Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at United Hospital Center in Clarksburg, WV. He was born May 3, 1920 in Doddridge Co., WV, a son of the late Orville and Della Mae Sutton Perine. Also preceding him in death were his first wife, Opal Fay Sutton Perine, his second wife, Kate Wood Perine, his third wife, Lucille Reese Perine; two daughters, Freda Mae Suder and Janet Ray Perine; two brothers, Ernest and Hobert Perine and one sister, Levada Snider. Mr. Perine is survived by his fourth wife, Eva Russell Simmons Perine whom he married on December 4, 1999; three sons, Edward Oren Perine and wife Theresa of Southington, OH, Orval Howard Perine and wife Judy of Smithville, WV and Arden Timothy Perine and wife Teena of Vienna, WV; five daughters, Artice Fay Richards and husband Ezra of Salem, WV, Naomi Kay Matthey and husband Ralph of Buckhannon, Precilla Gay Tenney and husband Neil of Vienna, Hazel Nadine Tenney of Buckhannon and Sarah Darlene Williams and husband Terry of Buckhannon; Many grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister, Gertrude Knight of Salem, WV; seven step sons, Rev. Jimmy Russell and wife Martha of Buckhannon, Bob Russell and wife Debbie of Tallmansville, WV, John Russell and wife Mary of Buckhannon, Paul Russell and Wife Ruth of Weston, WV, Dale Wood and wife Mary of Wheeling, WV, Gary Reese of Ohio and Dennis Reese of Virginia and two step daughters, Janice Jenkins and husband George of Buckhannon and Teena Wood Perine and husband Timothy of Vienna. Eddie was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a dedicated Christian by faith and a champion of the fundemential values that we hold dear. As a devout minister when he entered the sanctuary he would step on your toes. Eddie as he is known to his friends began his career in housing construction and ministry at an early age, receiving training from Duke University in NC and a Methodist Seminary in Washington, DC. He served as pastor of the Chestnut Grove, Pullman Charge, Meadow Bridge, Tallmansville, College Street, Glenville, Knottsville, Newlon, Shinnston, Hilltop, Troy, Reader, Meadowview, South Buckhannon Mission, and Gould Churches. He retired from the Methodist Conference in June of 1986, but he remained active in the ministry and attended the Faith Tabernacle Church. Friends will be received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home Friday, May 25, 2007 from 2-9 PM. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday at Faith Tabernacle Church with the Revs. Jimmy Russell and George Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenbrier Seventh Day Cemetery in Salem, WV. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Jonathan Andrew Peters
Jonathan Andrew Peters, age 48, of Buckhannon, WV, died Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at his home. He was born November 16, 1961 in Cuyahoga Falls, OH, a son of Donald G. and Frances I. Bailey Peters of Gassaway, WV. In addition to his parents he is survived by four brothers, Donald G. Peters II of Nokesville, VA, Stephen N. Peters of Hurt, VA, David L. Peters of Jacksonville, TX and Philip L. Peters of Gassaway and two sisters, Brenda Bryan of Oakton, VA and Melanie Morris of Lost Creek, WV. Memorial services will be held 11 AM on Saturday May 1, 2010 at the South Buckhannon Mission Church with the Rev. Ed Lowther officiating. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Frances I. Peters
Frances I. Peters, age 72, of Gassaway, WV died Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born June 27, 1937 in Upshur Co, WV a daughter of the late Virgil J. and Carrol Rowan Bailey. On August 31, 1955 she married Donald G. Peters who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Brenda Bryan and husband Ron of Oakton, VA and Melanie Morris and Husband Jay of Lost Creek, WV; four sons, Donald Peters, Jr. and wife Tina of Nokesville, VA, Stephen Peters and wife Sherri of Hurt, VA, David Peters and wife Karen of Jacksonville, TX and Philip Peters and wife Theresa of Gassaway; seventeen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; five brothers, James Bailey of Newton Falls, OH and Dennis Bailey of Rock Hill, SC, Lynn, Gary and Glen Bailey all of Buckhannon; five sisters Mazie England of French Creek, WV, Thelma Dietrich of Rock Cave, WV and Marie Bonner, Alice Devericks, and Rita Barnett all of Buckhannon and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son Jonathan Peters; one great grandson, David Wingo; two sisters Anna Bennett and Wilda Richards; one brother Arthur Bailey, and infants Brother and sister. Mrs. Peters was a Pharmacy Tech and a member of the Christ Presbyterian Chuch. Friends will be received Thursday, May 27, 2010 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ed Lowther officiating. Burial will follow at the Buckhannon Veterans Cemetery in Buckhannon. Ralph Joseph Parsons, Jr.
Ralph Joseph Parsons, Jr., age 63, of Buckhannon, WV died Friday, May 28, 2010 at his home. He was born February 5, 1947 in Belington, WV a son of the late Ralph Joseph and Neva Gail Swick. He is survived by his ex-wife, Lisa Parsons of Buckhannon; two daughters, Winter and Azinia Parsons of Buckhannon; three sisters, Mildred Tenney of Buckhannon, Cleo Mercier of Gladstone, MI and Neva Bolner of Baltimore, MD and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Lee. Mr. Parsons will be cremated and a private family service will be conducted at a later date. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Neva Triplett Patterson
Neva Triplett Patterson, age 100, of York, PA and formerly of Buckhannon, WV died Saturday, June 5, 2010 at the Lutheran Village on Sprenkle Dr. in York. She was born October 31, 1909 at Beverly, WV a daughter of the late Randolph C. and Maude Lothery Triplett. She was married November 11, 1930 to Rev. Dr. Winfield Scott Patterson who preceded her in death on August 21, 1979. Also preceding her in death was a sister Pearl Moore. She is survived by one son, Joseph Ross Patterson and wife Joan of York; one daughter, Mary Joan Schenck of Sayville, NY; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Mrs. Patterson was a homemaker, a member of the First United Methodist Church of Buckhannon, the United Methodist Women and the College Club. Friends will be received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home Thursday, June 10, 2010 from 10-11 AM the funeral hour with the Rev. Billee Scott Mick officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Bradford Michael Perry
Bradford Michael Perry, age 61, of Tallmansville, WV died Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at his home. He was born June 18, 1949 in Buckhannon, WV, a son of Richard V. and Ina Lorraine Tenney Perry of Moundsville, WV. On August 10, 1969 he married Deloris Jean Jeannie Bosley who survives. In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by two daughters, Tina Marie Moreland and husband Duane of Buckhannon and Amanda R. Landis and husband Ben of Queens, WV; one son, Douglas Michael Perry and wife Kelly of French Creek, WV; three sisters, Kathleen Kelley and husband Boyd of Tallmansville, Judy Pazeresky and husband Bill of San Antonio, TX and Karla Montgomery and husband Dale of New Martinsville, WV; one brother, Richard V. Perry and wife Nancy of McMachen, WV; three grandsons, Michael, Ben and Dylan; four granddaughters, Melinda, Shannon, Samantha and Haley; one great-granddaughter, Grace and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Perry was a mechanic and electrician for ICG/Wolfe Run Mining Company. He loved camping and dirt track racing. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Friends will be received Friday, August 27, 2010 from 4-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Saturday at the Ten Mile Baptist Church with the Rev. Bradley Tenney officiating. Burial will follow in the Ten Mile Baptist Cemetery in Ten Mile, WV. VFW Post # 3663, Frank B. Bartlett Post # 7 American Legion, DAV Chapters # 5 & # 36 will conduct military honors at the graveside. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Forrest S. Perry
Forrest S. Perry, age 85, of Mt. Union Rd., WV passed away Saturday, December 4, 2010 in the loving arms of his wife, while under the care of St. Joseph's Hospice. He was born April 4, 1925 in Tenmile, WV a son of the late Lewis and LaUna Hoover Perry. On July 2, 1966 he married Donis L. Arbogast who survives. Also surviving are two sons, David Perry and companion Lil of Yukon, PA and Randall Perry and companion Theresa of Buckhannon; two daughters, Linda Lamb of Richland Town, PA and Barbara Curry and husband Michael of Buckhannon; two grandsons, Bryan Lamb of Richland Town and Brandon Curry his grandfathers special buddy of Buckhannon; one granddaughter, Bridgette Lamb of PA; and one sister, Irene Waugaman of Buckhannon. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one infant sister and one brother Wilbert Perry. Forrest served with 199th Battalion Battery B Artillery during WW II and was honorably discharged. He was retired from Upshur Coals since 1987. He was an avid foxhunter until 2 years ago when his health began to fail. He was also a horse lover who enjoyed taking his team of horses with family and friends on wagon rides and camping out. He also loved having cookouts and picnics while spending time with his family. Forrest was a Christian and attended Faith Baptist Church. Friends will be received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home Monday, December 6, 2010 from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Mark Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Buckhannon Memorial Park. Buckhannon VFW Post #3663, Frank B. Bartlett Post #7 American Legion, DAV Chapters #5 & #36 will conduct military honors at the graveside. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home.

Ida Ellen Perrine
Ida Ellen Perrine, age 75, of Buckhannon, WV, died Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Holbrook's Nursing Home in Buckhannon. She was born May 27, 1935 in Weston, WV, a daughter of the late Argyle Barker and Bessie Arlen Meadows Barker Hines. On January 9, 1956 she married Delmar Glen Jack Perrine who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Sue Conrad of Weston, Lorean Casto and husband Allen of Weston and Vickie Howard of Rock Cave, WV; two sons, Delmar Glen Jack Perrine, Jr. and wife Mary of Century, WV and Patrick Anthony Wayne Perrine and wife Deanna of Buckhannon; one sister, Mary Cutlip and husband Harry of French Creek, WV; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jettes Eugene Perrine; two sisters, Macil Landis and Dora Putman and two brothers, Russell and Ernie Meadows. Mrs. Perrine was a homemaker and a Methodist by faith. Friends will be received Thursday, January 27, 2011 from 6-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wease Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Lost Creek Seventh-Day Baptist Church Cemetery at Lost Creek, WV. Delmar Glenn 'Jack' Perrine
Delmar Glenn 'Jack' Perrine, age 83, of Buckhannon, WV died Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Louis A. Johnson V.A. Medical Center in Clarksburg, WV. He was born June 24, 1927 in Webster Springs, WV, a son of the late Henry and Pearl McCartney Perrine. On January 9, 1956 he married Ida Ellen Barker who preceded him in death on January 25, 2011. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by one son, Jettes Eugene Perrine; two brothers, Elmer and Chester Perrine and four sisters, Adariene Casto, Sue Barnett, Wanda Curtis and Karen Perrine. He is survived by three daughters, Lorean Casto and husband Allen of Weston, WV, Sue Conrad of Weston and Vickie Howard of Buckhannon; two sons, Delmar Glenn Jack Perrine, Jr. and wife Mary of Century, WV and Patrick Anthony Wayne Perrine and wife Deanna of Buckhannon and fifteen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren. Mr. Perrine was a coal miner and a Methodist by faith. He served in the US Army during WW II. At the request of Mr. Perrine, his body will be cremated and a memorial service will be announced at a later date. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Kenneth Joseph Pearson
Kenneth Joseph Pearson, age 59, of Buckhannon, WV died Thursday, September 20, 2012 at his home. He was born November 1, 1952 in Uniontown, PA, a son of Joanne Plisko Pearson of Buckhannon and Clyde D. Pearson. On October 30, 1976 he married Sarah Finley who survives. In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by two daughters, Jessy and Amy Pearson both of Buckhannon and three grandsons, Austin and Dylan Metz and Gavin Bosley all of Buckhannon. Mr. Pearson was a tent installer. At the request of Mr. Pearson he will be cremated. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Donald Gene Peters
Donald Gene Peters, Sr., age 77, of Clarksburg, WV died Thursday, September 20th, 2012 at the WV Veteran's Nursing Facility in Clarksburg, WV. He was born February 27, 1935 in Upshur Co., WV, a son of the late Bayard and Hazel (Warner) Peters. On August 31, 1955 he married Frances (Bailey) Peters, deceased May 25, 2010. Don retired in 1986 as a Security Specialist in Electronic Data Processing from the Washington Gas Light Company in the Washington, DC area. Over the years, this Marine Corp Veteran had a variety of jobs in the baking industry and owned a bakery in Philippi and in Buckhannon. He also served in pastoral ministry at several churches, the last being South Buckhannon Mission Church. Surviving are two daughters, Brenda Bryan and husband Ron of Oakton, VA and Melanie Morris and husband Jay of Lost Creek, WV; four sons, Donald Peters, Jr. and wife Tina of Nokesville, VA, Stephen Peters and wife Sherri of Hurt, VA, David Peters and wife Karen of Jacksonville, TX and Philip Peters and wife Theresa of Gassaway, WV; seventeen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; one brother, William Lee Peters and wife Linda of Shelbyville, TN, two sisters Joann Edmond and husband Jim of Buckhannon, WV, and Hazel Lorene Judy of Las Vegas, Nevada. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Jonathan Peters and one great grandson, David Wingo. A graveside service was held Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the Veterans' Cemetery in Buckhannon with Chaplain Adam Boyd officiating. Buckhannon VFW Post #3663, Frank B. Bartlett Post #7 American Legion and DAV Chapters #5 & #36 Conducting Military Honors. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. With grateful hearts, the family thanks the wonderful people at the WV Veteran's Nursing Facility and Amedisys Hospice of Anmore for the friendships and care given to Don Peters during his three year stay. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the WV Veterans' Nursing Facility Resident Benefit Fund, One Freedom's Way, Clarksburg, WV 26301. This fund allows the veterans to participate in activities outside of the facility such as fishing, movies, lunches, bowling, fairs, festivals and more.
