Margaret Jane Blosser, 94, of Bremen, Ohio, died Sunday, Aug. 18, 1996, at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born in New Lexington, Ohio, a daughter of the late George and Nora Wilson Parker. She and her husband, Carl L. Blosser, lived at Cabot Station until 1965. She was an active member of the Methodist Church and various other organizations in Grantsville. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, James Dine and Betty Lou Blosser; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren, all of Lancaster, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1976; stepfather, S. D. Nixon; one brother; and one step-brother. Services were held at Snyder-Sheridan Funeral Home, Bremen. Burial was in Grandview cemetery.

Della Boggs, 90, of Five Forks, formerly of Stumptown, died Saturday, July 13, 1996, at Braxton County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Wirt County, a daughter, of the late John and Annie Edwards Stevens. She was a homemaker and a member of Rush Run Baptist Church, Stumptown. Surviving are five sons, Guy Boggs of Five Forks, Oles Boggs of McClellandtown, Pa., John Welsey Boggs, Adrian Boggs and Don Boggs, all of Wheeling; one daughter, Dorothy Schoolcraft of Wheeling; one brother, Oral Stevens of Stumptown; and 20 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Boggs; and one son. Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev. Lewis Villers officiating. Burial was in Sylvester Stump cemetery, Stumptown.
BOLEY, EDNA O.
Edna Olive Boley, 84, of St. Marys, died Tuesday, Mar. 30, 1996, at Camden-Clark Hospital. She was born in Nine Mile, Pleasants County, a daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Lydia Locke Brammer. She was a former employee of American Cyanamid and Hi Way Grille for several years. She retired from Colin Anderson Center. She authored a book of her life titled, "Life in the Hills of West Virginia." She was a member of Pleasants County Republican Woman's Club, was a former 4-H leader and was a Methodist. Surviving are one son, Jack E. Boley, husband of Sen. Donna Boley of St. Marys; one daughter, Margaret Barley of Williams-burg, Va.; a nephew, Roy E. Brammer of St. Marys, whom she had raised since his birth; one sister, Sylvia Mayo of Belmont; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack W. Boley; one infant son; five brothers, Everett Brammer, William Brammer, Clyde Brammer, Roy Brammer and Earl Brammer; and two sisters, Dora Catherine Brammer and Millie Sunderman. Services were held at Ruttencutter Funeral Home, St. Marys, with Rev. Clyde Brammer, Jr., officiating. Burial was in St. Marys IOOF cemetery.
BOWER, NELLIE T.
Nellie T. Bower, 86, of Akron, Ohio, died Friday, June 7, 1996, at Akron General Hospital. She was born in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Charley and Geneva Wells Thomas. She had been a resident of Akron since 1942. She was a former employee of Sun Rubber Co. for 13 years and Akron General Hospital for 17 years, retiring in 1974. She was a member of Sun Rubber Retirees Association and Akron Baptist Temple. Surviving are one son, Thomas Bower of Akron; one sister, Geneva Pell of Akron; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and six great- great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Shirley "Cutter" Bower. Graveside services were held at Big Bend cemetery, with Rev. James Pearson officiating.
BOWER, TERRENCE L.
Terrence (Terry) Lee Bower, 43, died suddenly at his home in Lexington, Ken., on Monday, Jan. 15, 1996. He was born in Parkersburg, the son of Dan E. and Grace Hathaway Bower. He attended schools in Vienna and Wheeling and graduated from Magnolia High School, New Martinsville. He attended Marshall University. He was a former manager of Hills Dept. Store, Vienna, and opened other Hills stores in West Virginia, New York, Pennsyl-vania and Kentucky. He was employed by Mothers Records and Tapes, Louisville, Ken., and opened new stores in Louisville, Atlanta and several areas in Florida. At the time of his death, he was vice-president of marketing for Direct Programming Services, Lexington. Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Sara Collingsworth Bower, and a brother, Jonathan D. Bower of East Lansing, Mich. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Karen Nutter Bower; his grandparents, C.O. and Opal Bower, formerly of Big Bend, and O.C. and Grace Miller Hathaway of Grantsville. Services were held at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, with Brother Don Frye officiating. Burial was in historic Lexington cemetery.

Jerry "Boatman" Bowers, 56, of Baytown, Tex., died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 1996, in Baytown. He was born in Millstone, a son of the late Garrison and Mindy Bowers. Surviving are his wife of 13 years, Carolyn Clepper; two sons, Russ Bowers of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Tom Bowers of Parkersburg; two daughters, Rebecca McDonald of Cincinnati and Cindy Fenn of Pensacola, Fla.; one step-daughter, Susan Broussard of Hardin, Tex.; one stepson, Randy Clepper of Baytown; one brother, Larry Bowers of Parkersburg; one sister, Connie Kipp of Parkersburg; his stepmother, Lucille Bowers of Parkersburg; eight grandchildren; two nieces; and two nephews. Services were held at Earthman Funeral Home, Baytown, with David Ellis officiating. Burial was in White cemetery, Highlands, Tex.

Ora F. Bowley, 69, of Spencer, died Saturday, July 13, 1996, at Roane General Hospital. She was born in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Neil :and Grace Sampson Starcher. She was a homemaker. Surviving are one son, Teddy Ball of Spencer; one sister, Rhoda Griffin of Spencer; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Enoch Preston Ball; second husband, Harold Bowley; seven sisters; and six brothers. Services were held at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer, with Pastor Larry Haught officiating. Burial was in Gibson cemetery, near Arnoldsburg.

Jesse Brookover, Jr., 67, of Sebring, Fla., died Tuesday, Mar. 12, 1996, at his residence. He was born on Sand Ridge, a son of the late Jesse and Flora Hawkins Brookover. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and was a retired truck driver. He was a life member of VFW Post 4300, a charter member of Honor Guard and DAV Post 49. Surviving are his wife, Jeanette Seitz Brookover; one son, Kenneth Brookover of Lawrenceville, Ga.; three daughters, Marcie Sherwood of Boynton Beach, Fla., Kimberly Fitzgerald of Coral Springs, Fla., and Jennifer Podnar of Clinton, Ohio; two sisters, Ruby Goodlett of Sand Ridge and Bertha Hosey of Grantsville; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Clarence J. Buck, 65, of Windsor Township, Ohio, died Thursday, Aug. 8, 1996, at Geauga Regional Hospital, Ohio. He was born in Joker, a son of the late Theodore Buck and Parks Ruthford Buck. He was an inspector at Kennametal, Inc., Orwell, Ohio. Surviving are three sisters, Thelma Cooper of Clinton, Ohio, Opal Swisher of Munday, Delma Martin of Nelsonville, Ohio; eight brothers, Harold Buck of Cleveland, Ohio, Eugene Buck of Big Springs, Robert Buck, Denzyl Buck, Charles Buck and Delbert Buck, all of Guysville, Ohio, Donald Buck and Ronnie Buck, both of Coolville, Ohio; and two granddaughters, Christina Neely and Stephanie Neely of Orwell. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Buck, and a daughter, Cheryl Neely. Services were held at Paine Funeral Home, Orwell, with Rev. Thomas Purchase officiating. He was born in Calhoun County, a son of the late James and Delta Starcher Burrows. He was a U.S. Army veteran, a retired employee of Ford Motor Co., Ohio, and a member of Meridan Sun Lodge 69, AF&AM. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Burrows; four daughters, Carla Jean Piskac of Peninsula, Ohio, Debbie Howard of Canal Fulton, Ohio, and Leisha Burrows and Sherry Craig, both of Richfield; two sisters, Ernestine Gainer of Grantsville and Dena Plant of Ohio; one brother, Coleman Gene Burrows of Grantsville; and four grandchildren. Services were scheduled Wednesday, 10 a.m., at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev. Lawson Whipkey officiating, and burial in Liberty Hill cemetery, Arnoldsburg.

Hayward Donnie Burrows, Sr., 82, of Murraysville, died Saturday, Aug. 3, 1996, at his residence. He was born in Grantsville, a son of the late Walter and Mary Givens Burrows. He was a maintenance pipefitter. He was a member of Pipefitters Local No. 565 of Parkersburg, founder and builder of Five Forks Community Church, taught Sunday School at many churches, and a member of Ravenswood Church of the Nazarene. Surviving are his wife, Mary Kathryn Boselton Burrows; four sons, Hayward Donnie Burrows, Jr., and Randy Alan Burrows, both of Murraysville, William Dean Burrows of Washington, and Richard Burrows of Parkersburg; three daughters, Kathy Sue Bailey of Murraysville, Betsy Lynch of Dayton, Ohio, and Merlene Cline of Columbus; three brothers, Andy Burrows of Florida, Donald Burrows of Walker and Leonard Burrows of Vienna; three sisters, Irene Sears of Grantsville, Evelyn Fry of Gambrie, Ohio, and Lorene Wires of Little Hocking; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Emogene Davis. Services were held at Ravenswood Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Jack Davis officiating. Burial was in Ravenswood cemetery.
