Jeffrey A. Boggs, 37, of Minnora, died Sunday, Nov. 28, 1999, in an automobile accident near Beckley. He was born in Orrville, Ohio, the son of Robert and Mary Juanita Helmick Boggs of Minnora. He was an employee of Excel Well Service. Surviving in addition to his parents are two daughters, Jennifer Lynn Boggs and Stephenia Ann Boggs, both of Rosedale; three brothers, Kenna R. Boggs of Spencer and Mark Boggs and Robert Boggs II, both of Minnora; one sister, Patti Lunceford of Flatwoods; and maternal grandmother, Viola Helmick of Minnora. Services will be held Thursday, 1 p.m., at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, with Rev. Timothy Hickman officiating. Burial will be in Orma United Methodist Church cemetery. Visitation was scheduled Wednesday, 6 to 9 p.m.

Leona Dell Welsh Boggs, 65, of Five Forks, died Sunday, Jan. 3, 1999, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital. She was born in Grantsville, the daughter of the late William "Clarence" and Leola Nelle "Nin" Whipkey Welsh. She was a former employee of Renmar Manufacturing and held several positions at St. Joseph Hospital. Surviving are her husband of 43 years, Guy F. Boggs; three children, Guy F. Boggs, Jr., of Vienna, Myra Boggs West of Parkersburg; and Douglas A. Boggs of Grantsville; six grand-children, Amber, Nathan and Brianna Boggs of Vienna, Kirk Stump of Parkersburg, and Misty and Kayla Boggs of Grantsville; one sister, Marva Welsh Barker of Grantsville; one nephew, Billy "Biff" Barker of Grantsville; and a beloved friend, Popeye. Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev. Alfred Hickman officiating. Burial will be at a later date.

Monnie G. Boggs, 90, of Medina, Ohio, formerly of Stumptown, died Monday, Feb. 22, 1999, at Evergreen Nursing Center, Medina, following a long illness. She was born in Gilmer County, the daughter of the late Worthy and Florence Minney Collins. She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Stumptown, and was a homemaker. Surviving are one daughter, Mary K. McCoy of Medina and one brother, Ores Collins of Normantown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Boggs, and two sons, Eugene Boggs and Jack Lee Boggs. Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev. Harry Siers officiating. Burial was in Collins Community cemetery, Stumptown.

Stella M. Bonar, 76, of Belpre, Ohio, died Saturday, Mar. 13, 1999, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital. She was born at Orma, the daughter of the late Arthur and Molly Parsons Keith. She was a member of Pleasant View United Methodist Church where she had taught Sunday School for a number of years. Surviving are one son, Albert Bonar of Belpre; one daughter, Shirley Wingrove of Belpre; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse M. Bonar in 1974; one son, Delbert Bonar; one great-grandchild; three brothers, Elmer Keith, Lora Keith and Willie Keith; and one sister, Gay Altizer. Services were held at Reed Funeral Home, Belpre, with Rev. Bob Randolph officiating. Burial was in Rockland cemetery, Belpre.

Elizabeth Brown, 81, of Vienna, died Saturday, Aug. 14, 1999, at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was born in Pond Creek, the daughter of the late Will and Nellie Stephens. She was retired from Eazor Express and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and Good Sam Camping Club. Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Melvin Brown; one niece, Betty Adams of Ironton, Ohio; one nephew, Charles Brown of Grantsville; and several cousins. Services were held at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna, with Rev. Thomas Malcolm officiating. Burial was in Evergreen South cemetery.

Sheridan G. Brown, 79, of Coolville, Ohio, died Monday, Apr. 12, 1999, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital. He was born in Calhoun County, the son of the late Albert and Artie Suttle Brown. He was a graduate of Calhoun County High School, Class of 1940, and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, having served on the aircraft carrier USS Barnes. He was retired from Ford Motor Co., Brookpark, Ohio, and attended Coolville United Methodist Church. He was an accomplished violin maker and wood craftsman. Surviving are his wife, Greta Bailey Suttle Brown; two daughters, Betty Arnold of Coolville and Acrolyn Knotts of Belpre, Ohio; two sons, John Brown of Brookpark and Richard Brown of Medina, Ohio; two sisters, Vesta Stalnaker of Parkersburg and Vada Duffield of Beverly; two brothers, Shirley Brown of Rockville, Md., and Rector Brown of Winchester, Va.; 13 grand-children; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Siers Brown, in 1994; one daughter, Sandra Jarvis, in 1981; and one brother, Sherman Brown. Services will be held Friday, 1:30 p.m., at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, with Rev. Mark Eaton officiating. Burial will be in Minnora cemetery. Visitation was scheduled at Coolville U.M. Church on Wednesday, 6 to 9 p.m., and at Stump Funeral Home on Thursday, 5 to 8 p.m.
BUNNER, JAMES
James L. Bunner, 90, of St. Albans, formerly of Brohard, died Sunday, Oct. 3, 1999, at Putnam General Hospital, Winfield. He was born in Munday, the son of the late John and Eva Baileys Bunner. He attended Wirt County schools and was a former oil field worker with Roberts Oil and Gas. He retired from Wetherall Construction Co. and moved to St. Albans in 1976. Surviving are four sons, Roy Bunner of High Point, N.C., Charles Bunner of Parkersburg, Basil Bunner of Holly, Mich., and Argil Bunner of Sneffer, Fla.; one daughter, Geraldine Miller of St. Albans; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Jones Bunner, in 1948; three grandsons; four brothers; and three sisters. Services were scheduled Wednesday, 1 p.m., at Busch Funeral Home, Elizabeth, with Rev. Lovell Shinn officiating, and burial in Wolverton cemetery, Munday.

David Delbert Burdette, 82, of Orma, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 1999, at Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center, following a long illness. He was born in Paint Creek, the son of James and Bertha Burdette. Surviving are one daughter, Billie M. Taylor of Morgantown; one son, Bob Burdette of Morgantown; three sisters, Margaret O'Dell and Teressie Moto, both and Hansford, and Ruth Dunbar of Indiana; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Charles J. Burrows, 76, of Smith St., Spencer, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital. Born in Washingotn, Pa., he was a son of the late Charles H. and Lena M. Fleishner Burrows. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a truck driver and oil field tool dresser. He was a member of the American Legion Post #744 of Marianna, Pa., and attended the Church of the Living God of Spencer. Survivors include one brother, Donald Burrows of Spencer and one sister, Grace Jean Uhlhorn of Bethell, Washington. Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, with Rev. Clarence McKown officiating. Burial in Bailey cemetery, Minnora.

Robert H. Burrows, 71, of Mt. Zion, died Tuesday, Apr. 6, 1999, at Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center. He was born in Calhoun County, the son of the late Earl and Dula Blake Burrows. He was a Korean War veteran, member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, and member of VFW Post #5959, Grantsville. Surviving are two sisters, Dorothy Burrows of Mt. Zion and Pauline Woofter of Bridgeport. He was preceded in death by one brother, Edward H. Burrows. Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev. Brad McBee officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion cemetery.

Richard B. Burwell, 40, of Harrisville, died Thursday, May 6, 1999, at his residence. He was born in Big Bend, the son of the late Burl and Margaret Joan Parsons Burwell. He was an employee of Hayhurst Equipment, Pennsboro, for 22 years. He was a member of the Cele-bration Center, Belpre. Surviving are his wife, Anna Hickman Burwell; one daughter, Melanie; three brothers, Michael Burwell and Mark Burwell, both of Harrisville, and James Burwell of Stockton, Calif.; and one sister, Vickie Gordon of Coxs Mills.
