Terry Lee Greenlief, 29, of Glenville, died Saturday, Apr. 10, 1999, at Gilmer County ambulance station. He was born in Calhoun County, the son of the late Willie B. and Virginia Jenkins Greenlief. He was a farmer and Protestant. Surviving are one sister, Diana Wallbrown, and four brothers, Roger, Donnie, Robert and Kenneth Greenlief. He was preceded in death by one brother. Services were held at Ellyson Mortuary, Glenville. Burial was in Rhodes cemetery.
GRIMM, KENNETH
Kenneth Grimm, 83, of Forestville, Con., died Tuesday, Apr. 20, 1999, at New Britain General Hospital. He was born in Grantsville, the son of the late Newton Lee and Winnie Ferguson Grimm, and resided in Forestville for more than 60 years. He was vice president of Walgren Tree Experts, West Hartford, before retiring in 1980 with 30 years of service. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, former president of Connecticut Tree Protection Association, appointed by former Gov. Ella Grasso as chairman of Connecticut Tree Protec-tion Examining Board, and member of West Hartford Rotary, Franklin Lodge 56, AF&AM, Bristol, and York Rite, 32nd Degree. Surviving are two daughters, Shirley Cochrane of Southing-ton and Ilene Rindfleisch of Bristol; five grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, including Charles, Glen and Ersel Roberts of Nobe and Theda Grogg of Nobe. Services were held at Asbury U.M. Church. Burial was in Cedar Hill cemetery, Hartford.

Donal D. Grogg, 74, of Glenville, died Wednesday, Apr. 21, 1999, at Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center. He was born in Gilmer County, the son of Amy Stalnaker Grogg of Vienna and the late Leamon Grogg. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and was retired from Equitable Resources, Inc., where he served as chief engineer for Glenville Compression Station. He was a member of Kanawha Drive Church, Glenville Lions Club, and Knights of Pythias Lodge, Tanner. Surviving in addition to his mother are two sons, Toby Grogg of Glenville and Lonnie D. Grogg of Crestview, Fla.; one daughter, Karen Faye Chamblin of Belmont; seven brothers, Jackie and Kenny Grogg, both of Glenville, Billy and Danny Grogg, both of Nobe, Rondel Grogg of Oberlin, Ohio, Leon Grogg of Parkersburg and Anthony Grogg of Elizabeth; seven sisters, Freda Amos of Vienna, Katheryn Phillips, Delores Davis and Connie Cogar, all of Parkersburg, Peggy Wade of Tanner, Dottie Frazier of Linn and Lena Ferguson of Salem, Ohio; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; two step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grand-children. He was preceded in death by his wife, Reva Grogg in 1997, and four brothers, Kevin, Marshall, Steve and O. Freddie Grogg. Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev. Robert Nicholas and Rev. Chriss Hornberger officiating. Burial was in Nobe cemetery.

Delbert Allie Gunn, 77, of Weston, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 1999, in Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital, Weston, following an extended illness. He was born in Calhoun County, the son of the late Carr Gunn and Rhoda Hamrick Gunn. He was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and attended Valley View Church of the Nazarene. He was retired from the chemical dept. of P.P.G. Industry after several years of service. He was a member of Barberton Civitan Club. Surviving are his wife, Aileen Ramsey Hager; two daughters, Cathy Yanke of Norton, Ohio, and Karen Dietry of Barberton, Ohio; two sons, Jim Gunn of Akron, Ohio and Michael Gunn of Copley, Ohio; four grandchildren; six step-children, 13 step-grand-children; three great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; one brother, Albert Fenton Gunn of Wadsworth, Ohio; two sisters, Macel Rutledge of Horn Lake, Miss., and Bertha Gainer of Big Springs; and several adopted children, foster children, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Beulah Miller; two brothers; one sister; one step-sister, Thelma Peck of Clarks-burg; and one step-grandson. Services were held at Boyle Funeral Home, Weston, with Rev. Robert A. Heater officiating. Burial was in Broad Run cemetery, Jane Lew.

Forrest Gunn, 72, of Charlotte, N.C., died Friday, Sept. 18, 1998. He was born in Mt. Zion, the son of the late Poe and Lottie Gunn of Grantsville. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a merchant and businessman in Calhoun County until 1964. He was employed for 20 years by the Small Business Administration as a business and industry specialist. Surviving at the time of his death were his wife, Joann; three daughters, Billie Gabriel and Susan Glass, both of Charlotte, and Charlotte Gunn of Portland, Ore.; two grandchildren; one sister, Eloise Divers of Grantsville; and one brother, Don Gunn of Mt. Zion. He was preceded in death by one brother, Dale Gunn. Memorial services were held Monday at Bethlehem cemetery, near Grantsville, with Rev. Mary Zimmer officiating.

Lovie Starcher Gunn, 86, of Mt. Zion, died Tuesday, Apr. 20, 1999, at Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center. She was born in Calhoun County, the daughter of the late Claudie and Ola Bennett Godfrey. She was a homemaker and member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Marie Meadows of Mt. Zion and Alma Withrow of Barboursville; one sister, Stella Harris of Wheeling; one granddaughter, Lois Baker, two great-grand-children, Casandra and Shannon Baker, and one great-great-grandson, Molike Baker, all of Florida; two step-daughters, Macel Rutledge of Mississippi and Bertha Gainer of Big Springs; and one step-son, Albert Gunn of Ohio. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Starcher, and her second husband, Carr Gunn; six brothers and one sister. Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev. Darrell Mollohan officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion cemetery.

Edith Haag, 84, of Sand Ridge, died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1999, at Roane General Hospital. She was born at Sycamore, the daughter of the late Emery and Maud Poling Cutlip. She was retired from General Motors Corp. and was a homemaker. Surviving are her husband, Arthur M. Haag; one son, James D. Stump of Cincinnati, Ohio; two daughters, Lana Dennis of Elyria, Ohio, and Kerri Hall of Louisville, Ky.; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great- grandchildren. Darrell R. Hall, 66, of Millstone, died Friday, Mar. 5, 1999, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg. He was born in Calhoun County, the son of the late P. Dewey and Daisy Burkhammer Hall. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was an equipment operator in the pipeline construction industry and was a member of International Union of Operatine Engineers Local #132, Charleston. Surviving are his wife of 46 years, June Price Hall; two daughters, Sandra Marks and Debra McKown, both of Arnolds-burg; three sons, Tim and Ernie Hall, both of Arnoldsburg, and Mike Hall of Millstone; three sisters, Nancy Drake of Thousand Oaks, Calif., Connie Downs of Arnoldsburg and Greta Hall of Parkersburg; two brothers, Dean and Dale Hall, both of Arnolds-burg; 14 grandchildren; and seven great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, with Rev. Loren Price officiating. Burial was in Lynch cemetery, Arnoldsburg.

Surviving are her husband, Chester Hall of Parkersburg; one son, Frederick Lee Bash of Rosedale; one daughter, Belinda Kelli Bennett of Rosedale; one sister, Emma Lou Dietenbeck of Glenville; one brother, Phillip Shamblin of Hornor; and four grand-children. Hersel G. "Buss" Hall, 78, of Beaver Falls, Pa., died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999, in The Medical Center, Beaver, Pa. He was born in Arnoldsburg, the son of the late Edwin Washington Hall and Matilda Jamina Adams Hall. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and an electrician for Babock & Wilcox Tubular Products Co., retiring in 1983. He was a member of St. Philomena Roman Catholic Church, United Croatian Club, New Brighton, Pa., and Veterans of Foreign Wars, Beaver Falls. Surviving are his wife, Betty Rose Harris Hall; one son, Pete Hall of Landenberg, Pa.; four daughters, Mary Beth Whiting of Warren, Pa., Katie Cremeans of Beaver Falls, Jean Cavalier of Montgomery and Rosemary Burns of Pittsburgh, Pa.; two brothers, George Hall of Sissonville and Woodrow Hall of Millstone; one sister, Hazel Ayers of Parkersburg; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters. Services were held in St. Philomena Catholic Church, College Hill, Beaver Falls, with Rev. Paul Savage officiating. Burial was in Beaver Falls cemetery, Chippewa Township, Pa. Full military honors were conducted by Beaver County Special Unit.
