Osborne of Big Springs. Surviving in addition to his mother are five sisters, Diana Knight of Nobe, Zelma Osborne of Five Forks, Donna Knight of Titusville, Pa., Brenda Harper of Spencer and Connie Boggs of Creston; and one brother, Donnie Ray Osborne of Five Forks. He was preceded in death by one sister, Beverly Hughes. Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev. Carroll McCauley officiating. Burial was in Nobe cemetery.

June Berdean Butler Osburn, 58, of Anderson, Ind., died Saturday, Sept. 6, 1997, at St. Johns Hospital, Anderson, following an extended illness. She was born in Orma, a daughter of the late Perry W. and Dorothy Butler. She attended school in Calhoun County and most recently worked at Forty-Five Truck Stop, near Gaston, Ind. Surviving are her husband, Jackie R. Osburn; two sons, David Leon Osburn of Muncie, Ind., and James Garland Osburn of Anderson; two daughters, Ina Marie Cox and Martha Ann Osburn, both of Muncie; two brothers, Burl Butler of Leatherbark and Gene Butler of Orrville, Ohio; three sisters, Bessie Hall of Leatherbark, Ruth Yearian of Spencer, and Deloris Bailey of Wilmont, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard Allen Osburn. Services were scheduled Wednesday, 2 p.m., at Hawk cemetery, North of Yorktown, Ind., with pastor Gary Phillips officiating. Imogene Parker, 62, of Bloomfield, Mo., formerly of Parkersburg, died Saturday, Aug. 2, 1997, at her residence. She was born in Parkersburg, a daughter of Harold Parker of Glenville and the late Mable Barnett Parker. She was Protestant. Surviving are two brothers, Donald Parker of Indiana and Joseph Parker of Parkersburg; and four sisters, Carolene Huntoon of Bloomfield, and Patricia Shaffer, Violet Teters and Della Mae Parker, all of Grantsville. She was preceded in death by one brother, Daniel Parker; and one sister, Juanita Parker. Services were held at Kimes Funeral Home with Rev. Harley E. Bailey officiating. Drexel Perry, Sr., 82, of Lowell, Ohio, died Thursday, Mar. 13, 1997, at Heartland, Marietta. He was born in Logan, a son of the late John Quincy and Lola Lee Parsons Perry, Sr. He was retired as a foreman for Brockway Glass after 33 years of service. He was a farmer and a member of National Rifle Association and Vienna Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Helen Virginia Stump Perry; four sons, Drexel L. Perry, Jr., Jeffrey Perry and Scott Perry, all of Lowell, and Michael Perry of Buena, N.J.; three daughters, Donis Yoder of Waterford, Brenda May of Athens and Vicki Reed of Land of Lakes, Fla.; one sister, Wilda Baker of Parkersburg; six brothers, Howard Perry of Whipple, Romeo Perry of Vincent, Edward Perry of Vienna, and John Perry, Ellis Perry and Burl Perry, all of Lowell; 25 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Maxine Pierce, 73, of Waverly, Ohio, died Friday, May 16, 1997, at her residence. She was born in Grantsville, a daughter of the late C.E. and Audrey Gainer Garretson. She was a member of St. Paul Independent Church, Waverly. Surviving are one sister, Jeane Linderman of Waverly; one granddaughter; two great-granddaughters; two nephews; one niece; and three great-nieces. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Rev. Willard J. Plante, Jr., 65, of St. Petersburg, Fla., died Wednesday, May 7, 1997, at Palms of Pasadena Hospital, South Pasadena, Fla. He was born in Grantsville, and moved to Florida in 1985 from Cleveland. He was a millwright for 40 years in Cleveland and St. Petersburg and also worked for Ford Motor Co. in Ohio. He was a member of United Autoworkers Union 1040, Cleveland. Surviving are two sons, James and Jeff, both of St. Petersburg; two stepsons, Kenny Kravanis of Brunswick, Ohio, and Randy Kravanis of Berea, Ohio; one stepdaughter, Dawn Kravanis of Berea; one brother, Sammy of Charleston; and two grandchildren. Services were held at David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Central Avenue Chapel, with Rev. W. Edward Fine officiating. Burial was in Sunnyside cemetery.

Lloyd Denzil Posey, 79, of Weston, died Sunday, Mar. 23, 1997, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown. He was born in Braxton County, a son of the late Lloyd and Maggie Clark Posey. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was retired from B&O Railroad after 37 years of service. He was a Methodist. Surviving are his wife, Goldie Belt Posey of Weston; two daughters, Carol Johnson of Grantsville and Bonnie Griffith of Drotwood, Ohio; one son, Frank Posey of Dayton; two brothers, Robert Posey of Weston and Herbert Posey of Warren, Ohio; one sister, Edna Riffle of Parkersburg; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Everett Posey, Paul Posey and Nelson Posey; and one infant sister. Services were scheduled Wednesday, 11 a.m., at Boyle Funeral Home, Weston, with Rev. Estel Powell (nee Allen), 85, died Monday, Dec. 15, 1997. She was born in Millstone and was a long time resident of Akron, Ohio. She was a member of Albrecht Avenue Church of God, Akron. Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Hagan Powell; four sons, Richard of Akron, Gary of Mogadore, Ohio, Larry of Spring-field Twp., Ohio, and Lennis Terry of Cuyahoga, Ohio; three daughters, Erma Lee Houchin of Arnoldsburg, and Jean Cole and Janet Savich, both of Springfield Twp.; and 39 grandchildren. Services will be held on Thursday, 10 a.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, Akron, with Rev. Ken W. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Memorial Park. Visitation at the funeral home was scheduled from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday.

Virginia A. Prusack, 74, of Munday, died Monday, Feb. 10, 1997, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital. She was born in Apollo, Pa., a daughter of the late Lynn and Bessie Kepple Beecher. She attended Thiel College, Pennsylvania, and was a Glenville State College graduate. She was a retired Calhoun County elementary school teacher with 24 years of service. She had taught in Little Creek and Brooksville elementaries. She was a member of W.Va. Teachers Association, National Teachers Association and Brooksville Baptist Church, Big Bend. Surviving are her husband, Arthur J. Prusack; three sons, Charles A. Prusack of Denair, Calif., David M. Prumck of Big Bend and James P. Prusack of Grantsville; two brothers, C.W. Beecher and James H. Beecher, both of Grantsville; eight grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren. Services were held at Brooksville Baptist Church, with Rev. Ronald Swiney officiating. Burial was in Big Bend cemetery.

Charles Homer Queen, 76, of Orlando, W.Va., died Monday, Mar. 31, 1997, at his residence. He was born in Calhoun County, a son of the late Homer S. and Clara Anda Richards Queen. He was a U.S. Army veteran and worked as a heavy equipment operator and was retired from W.Va. Glass Co. Surviving are his wife, Lilly Ables Queen of Orlando; two sisters, Anna Bailey of Weston and Marjorie Heater of Mexico; one brother, Olan Queen of Weston; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Services were held at Boyle Funeral Home Chapel, Weston, with Rev. Robert A. Heater officiating. Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Carl Reynolds; two daughters, Connie Sands of Williamstown and Shelby Grabowski of Ball Ground, Ga.; four sons, Gene Reynolds of Parkersburg and James Reynolds, Ronald Reynolds and Timothy Reynolds, all of Williamstown; one brother, Gale Freshour of Oklahoma City, Okla.; three sisters, Eleanor DeWeese and Geneva Lynn, both of Belpre, and Eloise Nutter of Pinehurst, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
