WINE, JACK D.

Jack D. Wine, 17, of Millstone, died Monday, Mar. 25, 1996, at West Virginia University Medical Center, following a long illness. He was born in Calhoun County, a son of Denzil and Carol Wine of Millstone. He was a sophomore at Calhoun County High School. Surviving in addition to his parents are two brothers, Robbie Haynes of Parkersburg and Louie Haynes of Grantsville; two sisters, Veronica D. Wine of Clifton, N.J., and Daytona Wine of Burnsville; maternal grandmother, Sarah Harris of Grantsville; and paternal grandfather, Melvin Wine of Copen. Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev. Mike Worf and Rev. Tim Davis officiating. Burial was in Wine Family cemetery, Burnsville.

WITTE, GENEVA

Geneva Witte, 84, of Chloe, died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 1995, at New Martinsville Health Care Center after an extended illness. She was born in White Oak, a daughter of the late Samuel and Clida Wilson Witte. She was a retired clerical worker and cared for her parents on their Chloe farm. She was a member of White Oak Baptist Church. Surviving are two brothers, Gerrit Witte of Apache Junction, Ariz., and Harral Witte of Canal Fulton, Ohio; two sisters, Ilene Brown of Rockville, Md., and Emma Elliot of Sutton; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Doris Villers. Services were held at Sinnett-Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer. Burial was in Clark Jarvis cemetery, Big White Oak.

WOLFE, MARIE

Marie Wolfe, 90, of St. Marys, died Monday, Oct. 21, 1996, at her residence. She was born in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late George W. and Mahala Ellison Rider. She was a life member of Pemberton Garden Club, Eastern Star, Faith Circle, United Methodist Women, and St. Marys United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband of 71 years, Dennie G. Wolfe; and several nieces and nephews. Services were held at Ruttencutter Funeral Home, St. Marys, with Rev. Darrel Gooden officiating. Burial was in Mount Olivet cemetery, Parkersburg.

WRIGHT, LEROY

LeRoy Wright, 51, of Mt. Zion, died Thursday, Sept. 26, 1996, at Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center of an apparent heart attack. He was born in Neversink, N.Y., son of Charlotte VanWagner Wright of Liberty, N.Y., and the late LeRoy Wright, Sr. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and retired as a sergeant for Liberty Police Dept. He was a member of the Police Conference of New York and employed at Pursley Furniture Co., Grantsville. Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Maureen Spence Wright; two daughters, Lani Nead and Coleen Hare, both of Livingston Manor, N.Y.; one son, Daniel Lee Wright of Grants-ville; one brother, Timothy Wright of Loch Sheldrake, N.Y.; two sisters, Charlotte Lauria of Neversink and Bertie Scott of California; and seven grandchildren. Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev. James Pearson officiating. Burial was in Enon cemetery.

WRIGHT, PANSY ANN

Pansy Ann Wright, 77, of Belleville, died Tuesday, Mar. 5, 1996, at her residence. She was born in Grantsville, a daughter of the late Okey J. and Happie Williams Dulin. She worked at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital for 18 years and was a graduate of Camden-Clark School of Nursing. She was a member and past president of Wood County Extension Homemakers and past president of West Virginia Homemakers and a member of Pond Creek Volunteer Fire Dept. Auxiliary. She was a member of Pond Creek Baptist Church and the Ladies' Aid. Surviving are her husband, William A. Wright; three sons, Robert Allen Wright of Cross Lanes, William Michael Wright of Washington and James Cecil Wright of Belleville; one daughter, Catherine Bowman of Terra Alta; one sister, Dorothy Dulin of Ripley; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward Dulin and Wilford Dulin; and one sister, Ruth Norman. Services were held at Kimes Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Rev. Jack Flanery officiating. Burial was in Evergreen North cemetery.

WRIGHT, SCOTTIE L.

Scottie Lenore Wright, 88, of Parkersburg, died Thursday, April 25, 1996, at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was born in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late S.M. and Clara Johnson Plant. She was a homemaker and had attended Bethel United Methodist Church earlier in her life. Surviving are one son, William Wayne Wright of Clearwater, Fla.; seven daughters, Juanita Richards and Oleda Boyce, both of Parkersburg, Betty Westfall of Washington, Patricia Pickens of Williamstown, Guenavere Lesley of Liberty, S.C., Jean Crispin of Creswell, N.C. and Margie Johnson of Grantsville. She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Wright. Services were held at Sunset Memory Gardens Chapel of Peace, Parkersburg, with Rev. Paul Morrison officiating. Burial was in Sunset Memory Gardens.

YOAK, ADELPHIA

Adelphia Yoak, 70, of Five Forks, died Tuesday, April 23, 1996, at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was born in Gilmer County, a daughter of the late Albert and Della Church Radabaugh. She was a former employee of Consolidated Natural Gas Co. and a member of Trace Fork United Methodist Church. Surviving are one daughter, Bessie Hinzman of Five Forks; three sons, Lynn Robert Yoak of Five Forks, Derwin Yoak and Irwin Yoak, both of Parkersburg; two sisters, Pauline Radabaugh of Nobe and Eudora King of Big Bend; four brothers, Ralph Radabaugh of Nobe, Willard Radabaugh of Nicut, Delmas Radabaugh of New Philadelphia, Ohio, and Orville Radabaugh of Chloe; nine grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joy R. Yoak; one daughter, Cathy Sue Yoak; two brothers; and one sister. Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev. Alfred Hickman officiating. Burial was in Nobe cemetery.

YOAK, DELMAS O.

Delmas O. Yoak, 46, of Wadsworth, Ohio, died Friday, Mar. 1, 1996, at his residence following a brief illness. He was born in Calhoun County, a son of Otha Lloyd Yoak of Lancaster, Ohio, and Dessel Maxine Haney Yoak Hartman of Wadsworth. He attended Calhoun County schools and was a former employee of the city of Wadsworth in the sanitation department. Surviving in addition to his parents are one brother, Gerald Yoak of Wadsworth; two sisters, Linda Stutler of Elizabeth and Evalene Friesner of Lancaster; one half brother, Chad Daniel Yoak of Lancaster; six half sisters, Barbara Smeck, Rachael Aubury and Gloria Yoak, all of Lancaster, Elizabeth Bockman and Wanda Downard, both of Laurelville, Ohio, and Christine Montgomery of North Lexington, Ohio; step-father, Dale Hartman of Wadsworth; step-mother, Flora Westfall Yoak of Lancaster; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, Connie Yoak; maternal grandparents, Asa and Florence Smith Haney; two half brothers, Lloyd Yoak and Dallas Yoak; one half sister, Vermal Yoak; and one nephew. Services were held at Busch Funeral Home, Elizabeth, with Rev. William D. Stutler and Rev. Lews D. Villers officiating. Burial was in Snyder Chapel cemetery, Annamoriah.

YOAK, DENVER G. JR.

Denver G. Yoak, Jr., 62, of Meadowbrook, Harrison County, died March 16, 1996, at Louis Johnson Veterans Administration Medical Center, Clarksburg. Her was born in Calhoun County, a son of the late Denver G. and Nell Fitzhugh Yoak. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a truck driver. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Schoolcraft Yoak; one stepdaughter, Judy Straub of Rittman, Ohio; one stepson, Richard Short of Parkersburg; and one sister, Mary Ellen Linger of Spencer. Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, with Rev. Glendon McKee officiating. Burial was in Sand Ridge cemetery.

YOAK, LOYAL B.

Loyal B. Yoak, 89, of Grantsville, formerly of Norman Ridge Community, Big Bend, died Friday, June 21, 1996, at The Willows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Parkersburg. He was born in Calhoun County, a son of the late Agnew and Ellen Metz Yoak. He retired from Cain Oil & Gas Co., Big Bend, and was a member of Norman Ridge United Methodist Church. Surviving are eight daughters, Eva Y. Collins of Weston, Evelyn McCormick of Grantsville, Edith 'Edie' Burrows Of Washington, Neva Patterson of Parkersburg, Sharon Frame of Little Hocking, Edna Schmeller of Akron, Ohio, Pauline Jarvis of Kernersville, N.C., and Netta Bush of Five Forks; two sons, Lowell T Yoak of Grantsville and James Yoak of Flatwoods; three foster, sons, Danny Straley of Ohio, Kenny Straley of Parkersburg and Vernon Frame of Vienna; one sister, Frances Davis of Grantsville; 19 grandchildren; 29 great- grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and five foster grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Monnie Fortney Yoak-, and three sons, Robert Yoak, Dennis Yoak and Denzil Yoak. Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Burial was in Norman Ridge- cemetery, Big Bend.

BAKER, BONNIE LUCILLE

Bonnie Lucille Baker, 79, of Parkersburg, died Tuesday, Dec. 20, 1994, at St. Joseph's Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Frank and Hallie Stump Bennett. She was a homemaker and a member of First Lutheran Church, Parkersburg. Surviving are one son, Byron R. Baker of Parkersburg; four grandchildren, Christopher Baker of Parkersburg, Catherine Baker and Cassandra Baker, both of Morgantown, and Caroline Baker of Columbus, Ind.; one nephew; and one niece. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Baker; three sisters, Genevive Meo, Eva Thornburg, and Madge Bennett. Services were held at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Rev. James F. Kinsler officiating. Burial was in Mount Olivet cemetery.

BALL, GOLDIE J.

Goldie J. Ball, 81, of Parkersburg, formerly of Grantsville, died Wednesday, Mar. 22, 1995, at her residence after an unexpected illness. She was born in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late John L. and Biddie Wright Kerby. She retired from Grantsville Ben Franklin Store, and was a member of First Baptist Church, Grantsville. Surviving are one son, Gerald Ball of Parkersburg; two sisters, Bertha Webster and Flora Gherke, both of Grantsville; two brothers, Hagen Kerby of Grantsville and Robert L. Kerby of Salem; three grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paris Ball; one grandson, Mitchell Ball; one sister; and two brothers. Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev. Bill Angel and Rev. James Pearson officiating. Burial was in Bethlehem cemetery, near Grantsville.

BALL, WILLIE

Willie Ball, 84, of Beckley, formerly of Mt. Zion, died Monday, June 5, 1995, at Pine Crest Hospital, Beckley, after an extended illness. He was born in Pine Creek, the son of the late Norvel and Mary Propst Ball. He was a former employee of Denmar and Pine Crest hospitals in Beckley. Surviving are one brother, Fred Ball of Beckley; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers. Services were scheduled Wednesday, 1:30 p.m., at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev. Glendon McKee officiating, and burial in St. Paul cemetery, near Mt. Zion.
