MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - June Krause Stewart, 79, of Martinsburg, died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 1998, at City Hospital, Martinsburg.
Born April 11, 1918, in Berkeley County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Burkhart M. and Harriet H. Lyeth Krause.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Stewart Jr., in 1979.
She was a graduate of Kings Daughters Nursing Program.
She retired as a registered nurse working for both E. I. DuPont and Fairchild.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
She was a member of Martinsburg Lady's of the Elks; and Martinsburg Women of the Moose.
She is survived by one son, Bob Stewart of Bedington, W.Va.; one brother, Donald R. Krause of Martinsburg; and one grandson.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth L. Krause, Burkhart M. Krause Jr. and William D. Krause.
Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg. Pastor Robert W. Barnes will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale cemetery.

Mabel L. Swartz
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Mabel Lee Smith Swartz, 94, of Martinsburg, died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 1998, at City Hospital, Martinsburg.
Born Nov. 11, 1903, in Davis, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late John W. and Ada Bohrer Smith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy C. Swartz.
She was employed by Interwoven Mills; Fairchild Aircraft during World War II; and later by C.H. Musselman Co.
She was a member of Bunker Hill Presbyterian Church, where she was active in Adult Sunday School Class and Church Women.
She was a member of Bunker Hill Homemaker's Extension Club.
She is survived by one daughter, Winona S. Lewis of Arden, W.Va.; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Vergie Keyes; and three brothers, Harry Smith, Earl Smith and Raymond Smith.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg. The Rev. John E. Harris will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale cemetery.

HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. - Garnett "Vic" Victor Adams, 63, of Hedgesville, died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 1998, at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Va.
Born July 19, 1934, in Berkeley County, W.Va., he was the son of the late John Q. and Ivy M. Faircloth Adams.
He retired as former owner of Vic's Auto Service in Middleway, W.Va.
He was a member of Martinsburg Eagles Club Post 4179.
He was of the Pentecostal faith.
He is survived by his wife, Ramona R. Barker Adams; five daughters, Shelby Hough of Martinsburg, W.Va., Tammy M. Miller of Ranson, W.Va., Melenna "Mickey" K. Lease of Martinsburg, Kimberly A. Barker-Sutphin of Inwood, W.Va., and Karri Lynn Adams of Glengary, W.Va.; three sons, Garnett V. Adams Jr. of Ranson, W.Va., Sonny James Barker of Inwood and Victor Bryan Adams of Hedgesville; two sisters, Elsie Brown of Ohio and Maxine Caton of Gerrardstown, W.Va.; three brothers, Eugene Adams and George Thomas Adams, both of Martinsburg, and Bobby Adams of Gerrardstown; six grandchildren; and his first wife, Pauline Hess Adams.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Ramona R. Adams; one sister, Janet Barrett; and two brothers, Harry Adams and Bill Adams.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg. The Rev. Johnny Faircloth will officiate. Burial will be in Mountainside cemetery, with military graveside services conducted by Newton D. Baker Post 896 VFW and Berkeley Post 14 American Legion of Martinsburg.

Liborio LaMarca
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Liborio LaMarca, 88, of Martinsburg, died Monday, Feb. 16, 1998, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Martinsburg.
Born April 9, 1909, in Sicily, he was the son of the late Sebastiano and Carnella Gaglino LaMarca.
He was a retired self-employed cosmetologist and previously had been employed by Emile's in Washington, D.C.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby B. LaMarca; two daughters, Roberta Harper of Middletown, Md., and Linda Sprouse of Martinsburg; one sister, Liboria Posella of New Jersey; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one son, Philip Thomas LaMarca; one sister, Mary LaMarca; and two brothers, Peter LaMarca and Philip LaMarca.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Rosedale Funeral Chapel, 2060 Rosedale cemetery Road, Martinsburg. The Rev. Albert Clipp will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Mausoleum.
Visitation will be Thursday from noon to 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Ludelle Waldron
RANSON, W.Va. - Ludelle Waldron, 67, of Ranson, died Monday, Feb. 16, 1998, at Integrated Health Services of West Virginia.
Born May 10, 1930, in Jefferson County, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Jessie Dailey Penwell.
She was a homemaker.
She was of the Protestant faith.
She is survived by her husband, Harvey R. Waldron; two daughters, JoAnn Mummert of Flintstone, Ga., and Roxann Carter of Harpers Ferry, W.Va.; six sons, Stephen Waldron of Leetown, W.Va., David Waldron of Martinsburg, W.Va., Eric Waldron of Ranson, and William Waldron, Bruce Waldron and Brian Waldron, all of Charles Town, W.Va.; two sisters, Janie Sowers of Ranson, and Judy Barnett of Leesburg, Va.; two brothers, Robert Penwell and Larry Penwell of Harpers Ferry; 23 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four sisters, Thelma Penwell, Madaline Hardy, Patricia Farmer and Hazel Hardy; and five brothers, Ronald Penwell, Elmer Penwell, Thomas Penwell, Harold Penwell and Nelson Penwell.
Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home in Ranson. The Rev. Steve Wymer will officiate. Burial will be in Edge Hill cemetery in Charles Town.

BOLIVAR, W.Va. - Lillie Tompkins Young, 92, of Bolivar, died Sunday, Feb. 15, 1998, at her home.
Born Oct. 30, 1905, in Craigsville, Va., she was the daughter of the late Charles H. and Roberta Scott Tompkins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hebert N. Young.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Wainwright Baptist Church, Charles Town, W.Va.
She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Smith King of Bolivar; one sister, Viola Brooks of Washington, D.C.; one grandchild, and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Aenon Union Baptist Church. The Rev. Walter Jackson will officiate. Burial will be in Aenon Baptist Church cemetery, Craigsville, Va.

Harry Warren Jr.
RIDGEWAY, W.Va. - Harry Warren Jr., 74, of Ridgeway, died Sunday, Feb. 15, 1998, at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Va.
Born May 22, 1923, in Crellin, Md., he was the son of the late Harry Alfred and Nellie Mae Butts Warren.
He retired from Westinghouse Electric.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores R. Starliper Warren; one daughter, Harriet Danesie of Baltimore; one son, Earl Warren of Baltimore; one granddaughter, Shawnee Arvin, whom he reared; and one great-granddaughter, Genevieve Hensley, who resided with him and his wife; one sister, Helen McDaniel of Martinsburg; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred Mashburn and Flora Mae Taddeo; and two brothers, Charles Alfred Warren and Earl A. Warren.
Services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Martinsburg. The Rev. Patricia Drake will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Herbert Edgar Unger, 68, of Martinsburg, died Sunday, Feb. 15, 1998, at City Hospital, Martinsburg.
Born Oct. 1, 1929, in Stoney Point, Pa., he was the son of the late William Unger and Alma Yowell Unger.
He is survived by his wife, Hilda Snyder Unger of Martinsburg; two daughters, Linda Hayes and Vickey Welch, both of Martinsburg; one son, Edgar Lee Unger of Martinsburg; four sisters, Elma M. Verzick, Mary B. Plotner, Erma M. Unger and Velma Unger, all of Martinsburg; four grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, William J. Barrett, David S. Barrett, Melvin B. Barrett and George T. Athey.
