INWOOD, W.Va. - Angel Lee Pennington, infant daughter of Robert L. and Crystal Staley Pennington of Inwood, died Thursday, Jan. 22, 1998, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandparents, Betty and Wayne Christensen, and Dale and Rose Staley; her paternal grandparents, Robert and Lois Pennington; great-grandmothers, Ruth Clipp and Wanda Stum, all of Martinsburg, W.Va.; and two sisters, Kia Sierra Gregory and McKenzie Renee Pennington.
Graveside services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Pleasant View Memory Gardens, Martinsburg. The Rev. Warren F. Kenny will officiate.

CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - Daivon Lashawn McDonald, infant son of Shannon D. McDonald of Charles Town, died Friday, Jan. 23, 1998, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Clarence Smith and Dorothy McDonald of Charles Town.

Robert K. Lopp
BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Robert Kenneth Lopp, 66, of Berkeley Springs, died Friday, Jan. 23, 1998, at Winchester Medical Center. Winchester, Va.
Born Aug. 17, 1931, in Morgan County, W.Va., he was the son of the late Elmer E. and Eva Youngblood Lopp.
He recently retired after serving 48 years in the U.S. Government, including the U.S. Army, 82nd Airborne Division, Veterans Administration Medical Center; and Internal Revenue Service.
He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of Berkeley Baptist Church, Berkeley Springs.
He was a member of American Legion Post 60.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Shiley Lopp; one son, Craig D. Lopp of Berkeley Springs; three sisters, Irene Stonesifer of Stephens City, Va., Nina Lopp of Hagerstown and Kathleen Waugh of Virginia; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Herman E. Lopp; and one sister, Lillian Burdick.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Berkeley Baptist Church, Berkeley Springs. The Rev. John O. Gilbert will officiate. Burial will be in Union Chapel United Methodist Church cemetery, Berkeley Springs, with graveside military services conducted by Tri-State Honor Guard.
Visitation will be today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Hunter-Anderson Funeral Home, 106 S. Mercer St., Berkeley Springs; and Monday one hour prior to the services at the church.

HARPERS FERRY, W.Va. - Lillie May Longerbeam, 92, of Harpers Ferry, died Friday, Jan. 23, 1998, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Ranson, W.Va.
Born May 7, 1905, in Shenandoah Junction, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Richard and Irene Bell Prye Williams.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Longerbeam, in 1977. They were married Oct. 13, 1921.
She was a homemaker.
She was of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by five daughters, Rosebud Bramhall of Lovettsville, Va., Betty Viola Goode of Berryville, Va., Irene Bell Stewart of Harpers Ferry, W.Va., Barbara Lee Shewbridge of Brunswick, Md. and Shirley Louise Delawder of Bolivar, W.Va.; three sons, William F. Longerbeam of Felton, Pa., George Richard Longerbeam of Cross Lanes, W.Va. and Howard Willie Longerbeam of Rohrersville, Md.; one brother, Irvin Williams of Herndon, Va.; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three daughters, Nellie Mae Hill, Eleanor Regina Naylor and Lillie Ann Kidwell; two sons, Harry Eugene Longerbeam and Gilbert Longerbeam; one sister, Catherine Griffitt; four brothers, Gilbert Williams Sr., George Williams, Harry Williams and William Williams; and her halfbrother, Merle Williams.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, 310 Fairfax Blvd., Charles Town, W.Va. The Rev. Daniel Montegue will officiate. Burial will be in Edge Hill cemetery, Charles Town.

BAKERTON, W.Va. - Albertus "Bert" Loudan, 73, of Carter Street, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 1998, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Ranson, W.Va.
Born Dec. 5, 1924, in Bakerton, he was the son of the late John Samuel and Annie Hoffmaster Loudan.
He was a retired crusher operator at Shenandoah Quarry, Millville, W.Va.
He was a veteran of World War II and served with the U.S. Army.
He was of the Methodist faith.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Helen Allen Loudan; one son, Gary L. Loudan of McGraw, N.Y.; one sister, Bertha Harding of Bakerton; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Jack Loudan.
Services will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Eackles-Spencer Funeral Home, Harpers Ferry, W.Va. The Rev. Russell Wright will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Lutheran cemetery, Bolivar, W.Va.

HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. - Walter D. McIntire, 54, of Hedgesville, died Sunday, Jan. 25, 1998, at Colton Villa Nursing Center, Hagerstown.
Born Jan. 12, 1944, in Hedgesville, he was the son of the late Ernest and Evelyn McCarty McIntire.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Elliott McIntire.
He retired from Corning Glass.
He is survived by one son, Ronald McIntire of Hedgesville; two sisters, Deborah Young of Greencastle, Pa., and Lisa Hitchcock of Hedgesville; four brothers, Calvin McCarty and Donald McIntire, both of Martinsburg, W.Va., Larry McCarty of Falling Waters, W.Va., and James McIntire of Hedgesville; and one grandson.
He was preceded in death by one son, Randy McIntire; and one brother, Warren "Miser" McIntire.

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Allen Cook Grant, 81, of Martinsburg, died Monday, Jan. 26, 1998, at City Hospital, Martinsburg.
Born Jan. 25, 1917, in Berkeley County, W.Va., he was the son of the late David Allen and Edna Cook Grant.
He was a 1936 graduate of Martinsburg High School.
He was employed at Grant Farm on Red Hill for many years. He later was employed by S&S Motor Parts and retired in 1982 from General Motors.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Army from 1941 to 1944.
He was a member of Christ Reformed UCC Church, where he was a trustee and elder of the consistory. He was a member of Gluck Men's Class and was secretary and treasurer.
He was a member of Local 1590 UAW. He was a member and former director of the Martinsburg Lions Club and chairman of the broom sales. He received the District Service Award and the Leonard Jarrett Award in 1994. He was a former member of United Commercial Travelers.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Troupe Grant, whom he married on Jan. 15, 1950; one son, Brian Allen Grant of Monrovia, Md.; two sisters, Betty Grant Cook of Martinsburg and Elizabeth Grant Kearney of Huntington, W.Va.; one grandson; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Paul E. Grant, Ralph V. Grant and Herman L. Grant.
Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg. The Rev. Thomas E. Hartshorn will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale cemetery, Martinsburg.

RANSON, W.Va. - Josephine Betty Crum, 80, of 308 N. Mildred St., died Sunday, Jan. 25, 1998, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Ranson.
Born May 4, 1917, in Charles Town, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Harry Lewis and Mary Susan Barron Chamblin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Lucas Crum, in 1995.
She was a member of Charles Town Presbyterian Church, where she was a member of the choir and taught Sunday school for 64 years.
She is survived by one daughter, JoAnn Jennings of Charles Town; one son, Robert E. Crum of Shepherdstown, W.Va.; one brother, Harold Chamblin of Charles Town; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Genevieve Martin and Marie Dillow.

Born Nov. 13, 1925, in Engle, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Charles William and Lucetta Donovan McDonald.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold W. Wilt, in 1997.
She was a member of Halltown Church of God, Halltown, W.Va.
She is survived by four daughters, Ginger Grove of Silver Grove, W.Va., Joyce Ketron of Halltown, Cissy Simmons of Glengary, W.Va., and Alice Cook of Bolivar, W.Va.; five sons, Robert Wilt and Larry Wilt, both of Halltown, Buster Wilt and David Wilt, both of Harpers Ferry, and Jerry Wilt of Leetown, W.Va.; one sister, Cis Anderson of Lorton, Va.; two brothers, George McDonald of Bolivar and Herbie McDonald of Oxon Hill, Md.; 18 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four sisters, Margaret Moorman, Lottie Moorman, Clara Dotson and Alice Upright; and six brothers, Marshall McDonald, Dewey McDonald, Charles McDonald, Raymond McDonald, Ollie McDonald and Maynard McDonald.
