Richard D. Rinehart II
Richard D. "Richie" Rinehart II, 31, of Nitro passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011, after battling pancreatic cancer for nine months.
Richie was born June 3, 1979. He was a graduate of Nitro High School and was employed by Waste Management. He was a Christian and trusted God with his life and his future. He attended St. Paul United Methodist Church and Maranatha Fellowship.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding his dirt bike. He loved to eat, especially spicy foods covered in pepper. He was trusting, forgiving, loyal and was always willing to help his family and friends, even if it was a sacrifice. He had a contagious smile that lit up his face and every room he entered.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sara; his 4-month-old son, Little Richie; the White, Miller, Raynes, Rinehart and Thompson families; and his dog, Dee Dee. Richie was the son-n-law of Rev. Steve and Karen White of Charleston and the grandson-in-law of Jean White of Churchville.
"We love and miss you so much Richie. You will never be forgotten. Your spirit lives on in our son and in everyone who knew and loved you."
A memorial service was held at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 5, at St. Paul United Methodist Church, South Charleston. The family received friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Richard D. Rinehart III's Savings Account, BB&T, 300 Summers Street, Charleston, WV 25301.

Evelyn Dawn Rowan
Evelyn Dawn Rowan, age 42, of Buckhannon, passed away Monday, May 30, 2011, in Greene County, Pa.
She was born November 16, 1968, in Cumberland, Md., a daughter of Herb and Jan Kothe.
Also surviving are her husband, David Rowan; son, James Kothe; five daughters, Angela Everett, Rachel Everett, Rebekah Everett, Hope Everett and Faith Everett; four grandchildren, Manny, Sophia, Alessandra and Malachi; brother, James M. Kothe; and sister, Karen Giugno.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Cornerstone Community Church in Tennerton.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (Noon) on Saturday, June 18, at the Cornerstone Community Church, Buckhannon (near the Tennerton Elementary School).
A memorial service will begin at 12:00 pm (Noon), with the Rev. John Darnall officiating. Burial will follow in the Rowan cemetery in Sutton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made toward the funeral expenses.

Craig Lee Warner
Mr. Craig Lee Warner, age 48, of Sisk Carter Road, passed away Monday, May 30, 2011, at Carolina Medical Center-NorthEast.
A visitation was held Thursday night at Wilkinson Funeral Home.
Craig was born September 25, 1962, in Weston, to the late Clifton and Ethel Warner.
He was employed with Blythe Construction Co. in Charlotte. Craig loved NASCAR racing, his family, and especially Cole, his son.
Craig is survived by his wife, Kathy Horn Warner of the home; son, Cole Gregory Warner of the home; step-children, Jessica Dozier Buesch of Rockwell and William "Randy" Dozier of Concord; four step-grandchildren; sisters, Cathy Harris of Weston, and Shelia Farley of Bluefield; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by brothers, Gregory and Daniel Warner and sister, Rebecca Jones.

Betty Frances Blake
Betty Frances Blake, 82, of Dover, Ohio, died Thursday, June 23, 2011, at the New Dawn Health Care Center, Dover, following an extended illness.
She was born December 25, 1928, in Cleveland, W.Va., a daughter of the late Melvin P. Woods and Edith L. McCartney Woods.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dale H. "Joker" Blake on May 24, 1976; four sisters, Zula Beer, Goldie Gibson, Faye Cooper and Maxine Staver; and one grandson.
She is survived by one daughter, Beverly Wicker of New Philadelphia, Ohio; three sons, Ronald Blake of Dover, Roger Blake of Dover and Donald Blake of Weston; two sisters, Sharon Lake of Cleveland, W.Va., and Thelma Williams of Ravenna, Ohio; one brother, Melvin P. Woods, Jr. of Milton, Fla.; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Betty was a member and pew lady of the Jerusalem Church of New Philadelphia and a member and volunteer of the Tuscarawas Senior Center.
She enjoyed spending time making numerous quilts through the years.
Friends were received Monday, June 27, at Boyle Funeral Home, Weston. Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 27, at the Boyle Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Frank Sapp, Jr. officiating. Interment followed in Peterson cemetery, Weston.

Howard Louis Foglesong
Howard Louis Foglesong, age 84, of Horner, died Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at Holbrook's Nursing Home in Buckhannon.
He was born August 13, 1926, in Point Pleasant, a son of the late Charles and Marie Riffle Foglesong.
On June 16, 1991, he married Alice Marie Nelson Ervine Foglesong who survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Cindy Rock and husband Tim of Buckhannon; one stepson, Leigh Ervine and wife Lisa of Martinsburg; one stepdaughter, Walda Henson and husband Burley of Springfield, Mich.; three grandsons, Jared, Jason and Justin Rock, all of Buckhannon; one step granddaughter, Rebekah Ervine of Martinsburg; one step grandson, David Ervin of Martinsburg; and one brother, Earl Ray Foglesong and wife Joyce of Gallispolis Ferry.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Carolyn Roush; and his first wife, Justine Foglesong who died on December 21, 1984.
Mr. Foglesong was a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. He was retired from Appalachian Power Company after 31 years as an Electrical Engineer in Logan. He was a 4-H All Star, active and supportive of the Girl Scouts and active in the Logan Presbyterian Church for 31 years.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He also served in the US Army as an MP during WWII.
Friends were received Sunday, July 3, from 2 – 3 p.m. at the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. A memorial service was held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the church with the Rev. Dr. Joseph M. Shreve officiating. Interment of the cremains will be in the McCue cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Black Diamond Council of the Girl Scouts of America or to an organization of your choice.

Wilford L. Minigh
Wilford L. "Tinker" Minigh, age 64, of Auburn, departed this life at 8:56 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2011, at the United Hospital Center, Clarksburg following a brief illness.
He was born on January 28, 1947, in Gilmer County, son of the late Paul W. and Margaret Moss Minigh.
Wilford was a retired pipefitter from Stuart McMunn and member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local #152. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching football.
Surviving are three sons: David Minigh and wife Jennifer of Beckley, Paul Minigh and wife Stacey of Huntington and Mark Minigh and wife Sara of Staunton, Va.; four grandchildre: Julia Minigh of Beckley, Ryan and Reagan of Huntington, and Jonah of Staunton. Also surviving are four sisters: June Perrin of Burnsville, Pam Minigh of Weston, Paulette Beall and husband Peter of Weston and Annette Intihar and husband Bobby of Mentor, Ohio; six brothers: Leonard Minigh and companion Jean of Jane Lew, Roger Minigh and wife Debbie of Glenville, Paul Minigh and wife Pam of Glenville, Marvin Minigh and wife Roberta of Cedarville, Robert Minigh and wife Rebecca of Glenville and Patrick Minigh of Glenville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, at the Ellyson Mortuary Inc. Glenville with Pastor Dwight Goff officiating. Burial will follow in the Moss cemetery (Little Bull Run). Friends were received Tuesday at the mortuary.

Arthur Joe Radcliff
Arthur "Joe" Radcliff, 68, of Buckhannon Run Road Buckhannon, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 4, 2011, in Ruby Memorial Hospital of Morgantown following an extended illness.
He was born in Weston on March 23, 1943; son of the late Joe Radcliff (2000) and Betty (Burr) Radcliff(2003).
On February 6, 1964, he married Marcia K. (Marsh) Radcliff, who survives.
Mr. Radcliff is also survived by three children: Brent Radcliff and wife Bobbi and Bryan Radcliff both of Weston and Kara Allman and husband Terry of Jane Lew; five grandchildren: Brent Radcliff, II, Brittany Radcliff, Jordan Radcliff, Teran Allman and Tyler Carpenter; and two great-grandchildren: Brenlea Radcliff and Colton Knotts. He is also survived by two sisters: Linda Osborn and husband Dwight of Jane Lew and Sharon Pickens and husband Tracel of Weston and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by one brother: Roy Lee Radcliff (1983).
Mr. Radcliff was a welder/fabricator with Quality Machine of Bridgeport. He attended the Horizon Church of Lost Creek. Joe was past president and secretary of the WV State Coon Hunter's Association, past president of the Hacker's Creek Coon Hunter's Club and was a UKC Licensed Master of Hounds. He was a member of many other Coon Hunter's Clubs and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Joe loved is family and especially his grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home, 730 N. Main Avenue Weston, on Thursday, July 7, from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Steve Felder officiating. Interment will follow services in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens of Jane Lew.

Joseph Rowan
Joseph "Joe" Rowan, 67, of Camden, died Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, following an extended illness.
He was born November 28, 1943, in Lewis County, a son of the late Patrick Rowan and Ann Margaret Grogg Rowan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Joseph Rowan; one grandson, Jason Todd Moody; two brothers, Frank Rowan and Wayne Rowan; and one sister, Mary Starcher.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Ann Louise Droppleman Rowan; seven children, Teresa Boltralik of Morgantown, Janet Rowan of Beverly, Ohio, Joann Lewis and husband Ralph of Terra Alta, Debbie Combs and husband Jeff of Bakers, Karen Dawson of Indiana, Patrick Rowan of Weston, and Barbara Lattea and husband Jim of Weston; seventeen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, John Rowan and wife Betty of Weston and James Rowan and wife Martha of Weston; two half-sisters, Pearl Ann Lattea of Weston and Betty Heath and husband Joe of Weston; several nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion, his dog, Moses.
Joe worked 24 years as a box maker at West Virginia Specialty Glass until its closing.
He was Methodist by faith.
He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish.
He was a true family man, enjoying every moment he had with his family and friends.
Friends were received Friday, July 1, at Boyle Funeral Home, Weston. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 2, at the Boyle Funeral Home Chapel with Paul Thompson and Reverend Martin Wine officiating. Interment followed in Snyder cemetery.

Mary Saville
Mary "Emaleen" Saville, age 79, of Jane Lew, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at United Hospital in Clarksburg.
Born on February 22, 1932, in Lewis County, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Donna (Butcher) Exline.
She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother and friend.
Surviving is her husband Harry V. Saville Sr.; two sons, Harry Saville Jr. of Herndon, Va., Tim Saville and wife Julie of Leesburg, Va.; a daughter, Judy Loose and husband David of Newtown, Conn.; a brother, Joseph D. Exline and wife Janet of Beaverdam, Va.; a sister, Joann Brill and husband Jon of Winter Garden, Fla.; and five grandchildren, Laura Ann Saville, Emily Loose, Meghan Loose, Tyler Lee and Travis Saville.
Friends were received on Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home in Weston, with a service following at 8:00 p.m. with Pastor Roger McKee officiating. Funeral services were held on Saturday July 2, at 2:00 p.m. at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with Donna Burgan officiating. Interment followed in Mt. Zion cemetery.
All arrangements are being handled by McKee Funeral Home, Augusta.

Kenneth Shuttlesworth
Kenneth Larry Shuttlesworth passed away June 29, 2011, at the University of North Carolina Medical Center.
He was born October 14, 1935, the son of Gladys and Glen Shuttlesworth.
He was married to Judith L. Moore in 1954.
He is survived by his wife, Judy; five children, Ken (Jeanette) Shuttlesworth of Graham, N.C., Vicki (Jeff) Carroll of Duluth, Ga., Tammy (Tim) Ladner of Houston, Texas, Janice (Jeff) Sadler of Graham, N.C., and Robert (Toni) Shuttlesworth of Graham, N.C.; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Betty Workman of Clarksburg.
He was preceded in death by one grandson, Robbie Lentini; his parents; and one brother.
Mr. Shuttlesworth was a graduate of Weston High School, Class of 1954. He served 22 years in the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam, and retired from the military with the rank of Command Sergeant Major.
At his request, his body was donated to the University of North Carolina Medical Center. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
