Priscilla R. Schulte
Priscilla R. (Junkins) Schulte, age 88, of 17 Thorn Hill Road, Weston, departed this life on April 19, 2013 at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
She was born on a warm summers day on July 18, 1924: daughter of the late William Francis Junkins and Margaret Ellen Buchanan Junkins. On May 26, 1942 she married Matthew Clement Schulte who preceded her in death on July 12, 2000.
Priscilla R. (Junkins) Schulte was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mrs. Schulte was blessed with a large family and is survived by two daughters, Cecelia Grogg and husband, Truman of Weston and Joyce Cook of Keystone Heights, Fla.; and four sons, William Schulte and wife, Patty of Green Cove Springs, Fla., Matthew Schulte and wife, Jo of Florence, S.C., Victor Schulte of Hilliard, Fla., and Christian Schulte of Tampa, Fla.
Also surviving are many grandchildren; step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren and step-great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Georgia Carlene Kenney and Sonja Saunders; and one son, Harold Schulte; five brothers, Lawrence, Lee, Dorsey, Frank and Harold Junkins; and three sisters, Tillie Orender, Edna Nicholson and Dessie Junkins.
Mrs. Schulte was Catholic by faith and a member of the St. Clara Catholic Church in Doddridge County. Priscilla was also a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge. Priscilla was a talented seamstress being able to do embroidery work and was a skilled quilt maker.
In addition to her many skills Priscilla enjoyed reading books especially westerns. Priscilla's greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren and it was a well-known fact that if you went to visit at her house you never left hungry.
Family and friends were received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 North Main Avenue, Weston on Sunday, April 21, from 2-4 p.m., and 6-8 p.m.
A prayer services was held on Sunday at 7:30 p.m., lead by Rev. J. Stephen Vallelonga. Funeral services were held on Monday, April 22, at 10 a.m., from Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J. Stephen Vallelonga officiating.
Interment followed services in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Jane Lew.

Sylvia Hawkins
Sylvia was the youngest of ten children born to parents Silvino and Mary Marsa Rossi on June 22, 1926 in Seattle, Washington. She died peacefully at Sentara Leigh Hospital, Norfolk, Va., on March 7, 2013.
Sylvia is survived by Andy, her devoted husband for 46-years and her loving children, daughter, Mary Ann (Richard) Bailey; sons, Richard (Jane) Hawkins and Tim Hawkins; her four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The viewing was held on March 13, from 6 p.m., to 7.30 p.m., and a chapel service was held at 11 a.m., March 14, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 8464 Tidewater Drive, Norfolk, Va., followed by a burial service at Forest Lawn cemetery, Norfolk, Va.
Flowers welcome or a donation to St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 5345 Virginia Beach Blvd., Virginia Beach, VA 23462 or a charity of your own choice in memory of Sylvia.

Willard Elza Workman
Willard Elza "Bud" Workman passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at the Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville, N.C.
Born in Weston on April 21, 1937: he was the youngest of seven children born to the late Elza and Virginia Bond Workman.
He retired from Edgecomb Metals/Mac Steel in 2000 following 36-years of employment in the York, Pa., and Greenville, S.C., locations. Bud proudly served the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War with an 18-month tour of duty in Korat, Thailand.
He is survived by his sweetheart and beloved wife of 52-years, Phyllis Gemmill Workman; daughters, Tammy and Lora; and granddaughter, Carson, all of Greenville, S.C.
He is also survived by two sisters, Lora Montgomery (Larry) of Weston and Wilma Nickita, Chardon, Ohio; as well as many nieces and nephews, plus their spouses and children, who loved him. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene and Edwin Workman and two sisters, Betty Workman and Maxine Roberts.
No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society American Cancer Fund, PO Box 7262, Hillsborough, NJ 08844 or the National Hospice Foundation in support of Hospice and Palliative Care for U.S. Veterans at wehonorveterans.org

Bradley R. Adams
Bradley R. Adams, age 73, of New Corcord, Ohio, departed this life Friday, May 17, at the O.S.U. Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio.
He was born Jan. 12, 1940 in Troy: a son of the late Denzel and Josephine Reed Adams. He retired as a truck driver for Detroit Diesel, Byesville, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife, Anita L. Patterson Adams, whom he married July 11, 1959; daughter, Shanda (Perry) Burt of Cambridge, Ohio; son, John Adams (Cindy Boylan) of Canton, Ohio; sister Jackie (Ed) Broome of Glenville; brothers Edward "Bud" (Connie) Adams of Weston; Gary "Sam" (Jeanette) Adams of Cedarville; James "Jim" (Karen) Adams of New Concord, Ohio; sister-in-law, Sharon Adams Hall of Weston; brother-in-law, Bill (Ryta) Patterson of Heath, Ohio; grandson, Raymond Burt, of Cambridge, Ohio; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
A brother, Roger "Skeet" Adams is deceased.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 22 at the Ellyson Mortuary, Inc., Glenville from 11 a.m. until time of services at 12 noon with Pastor Bryan Groves officiating.
Burial will follow in the Troy I.O.O.F. cemetery.
Ellyson Mortuary, Inc. is assisting the family of Bradley R. Adams with arrangements.

Cecil Emerson Boram
Cecil Emerson Boram, age 86, of 149 John Street of Weston passed away on Friday, May 17, 2013 in Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital of Weston, following a brief illness.
He was born in Weston on Oct. 14, 1926: son of the late Ralph Cecil Boram and Garnet (Penninger) Boram.
On May 26, 1948, he married Naomi Lee (Steele) Boram, who preceded him in death on Feb. 13, 2011.
Mr. Boram is survived by one daughter, Terry Given of Weston; one son, Daniel Boram and fiancé, Amy White of Beebe, Ariz.; two grandchildren, Chris Conrad and Byrnn Yvette Boram; and great-grandchild, Harper Grace Conrad.
He is also survived by one sister, Betty Jean Steinbrook of Columbus, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, Naomi, Cecil was preceded in death by two sons, John David Boram and Ralph Stephen Boram; two sisters, Helen Nayler and Jane Pratt; and one brother, Robert Boram.
Mr. Boram was a machinist for Danser Hardware and Supply Company of Weston for 33-years. He later went to work for the West Virginia Glass Specialty Company of Weston. Cecil was member of the First Baptist Church of Weston. He was also a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1976 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles both of Weston.
Cecil was a member of the Weston Masonic Lodge 10 A.F. and A.M. where he was extremely active over the years. He was past master of the lodge for several years, a coach for hundreds of new candidates of the lodge and was active several years with the funeral rites at the cemetery for fellow masons.
Cecil was also a veteran of the U.S. Army from April 20, 1945 until Dec. 24, 1946 with Company C 47th Engineer Construction Battalion. He received several medals including the Asiatic-Pacific Service ribbon and the WW II Victory medal and was in Okinawa during his deployment.
Family and friends were received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Monday, May 20, 2013 from 11 a.m., until 1 p.m.
Funeral services were held on Monday at 1 p.m., from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Kenneth Miller officiating. Interment followed services in the Peterson cemetery of Weston. Weston Lodge 10 A.F. and A.M. will conduct Masonic graveside rites.

Craig Alan Cunningham
Craig Alan Cunningham, age 45, of 4 Main Avenue of Weston, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2013 in Crestview Nursing Home of Jane Lew, following an extended illness.
He was born in Buckhannon on July 14, 1967: son of the late Alan F. Cunningham and Sharon M. (Lanham) Cunningham of Weston.
Craig is also survived by one sister, Shannon Cunningham of Weston; and brother-in-law, David Snead.
Craig worked in construction in Charlotte, N.C. He was a graduate of Lewis County High School of Weston with the Class of 1985.
Family and friends were received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Tuesday, May 21, from 4-7 p.m.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 22, at 7 p.m., from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Father John Valentine officiating. Condolences and life stories in memory of Craig may be expressed at www.hardmam-palettifuneralhome.com.

William R. "Bill" Dallas
William R. "Bill" Dallas, age 74, of RR 2 Jane Lew, Kincheloe Community, passed away at 6:30 p.m., Friday, May 17, 2013 at his residence, following a sudden illness.
He was born Aug. 27, 1938 in Pleasantville, N.J.: a son of the late Charles and Estelle Shaw Dallas.
On Aug. 27, 1971 he married the former Edith Wendt, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Estella Dallas and Debra Swick, both of Jane Lew and Amanda Brantmayer of Bridgeton, N.J.; one son, William Dallas of Egg Harbor City, N.J.; seven grandchildren, John, Charlie, Jessie, Kayla, Timmy, Chase and Cassie.
Also surviving is one half-sister.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Allen Dallas.
Bill worked as a Blacksmith for several years and later retired from the Lenox China Co. He was an avid deer hunter who loved to farm. He raised Herford cattle, rode horses and owned two Reserved World Champion Stallions. He also worked as an auto mechanic and loved to watch John Wayne movies. He enjoyed his favorite candy, Tootsie Rolls, having them with him at all times. He will be greatly missed by his beloved Border Collie, Valentine. Mr. Dallas was an honored veteran of the U.S. Army.
Friends were received at the Pat Boyle Funeral Home and Cremation Service on Tuesday, May 21, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Funeral services were held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 22, from the Pat Boyle Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. William Coffindaffer officiating.
At Bill's request, cremation will follow and private service will be held on the family farm.

Ray Earl Everts
Ray Earl Everts, age 81, of 2927 Rocky Fork Road, Orlando passed away at 11:05 p.m., on Friday, May 17, 2013 in the Wheeling Medical Center, following a brief illness.
He was born Nov. 23, 1931: a son of the late Percy and Nellie Moore Everts.
On July 6, 1954 he married the former Lillian M. Evans who survives. They had celebrated 58-years of marriage together.
Also surviving are three children, Cynthia Williams and husband, Gary of Orlando, Russell Everts of Weston and Patrick Everts of St. Clairsville, Ohio; three grandchildren, Amy Williams and Alex and Sean Everts; and one great-grandson, Joshua Holstein.
He had several brothers and sister, most he hadn't seen since childhood, when they all became foster children.
He was preceded in death by one son, Ray Everts Jr.
Ray was a veteran of the Korean War, having served with the U.S. Army. After finishing his tours of duty, he remained a strong supporter of veteran affairs. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved gardening, reading and word search puzzles. He will be sadly missed by his German Shepherd, Bandit. He was a member of the Grace Fellowship Church in Orlando.
Ray's request for cremation has been honored and the family invites you to attend Ray's Celebration of Life Service at 1 p.m., on Saturday, June 1, at the Grace Fellowship Church in Orlando, where he will receive full military honors.

Robert N. (Bob) Linger, 84
Robert N. (Bob) Linger, 84, of Terrace Avenue Weston went to be with his Savior the Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at his home with his loving wife Avis of 63 years by his side.
Bob was born May 25th 1928 in Weston: son of the late Ralph Linger and Curga (Norris) Linger. He graduated from Weston High School with the "Class of 1946"and attended West Virginia University of Morgantown for two years. He served honorably as a private first class with the United States Army between 1950-1952 at Fort Benning, GA.during the Korean Conflict, before commencing his career as a design draftsman and marrying Avis Dare (Jackson) Linger on October 20th 1950. Bob served with distinction with Hope Natural Gas of Clarksburg and its successors Consolidated Natural Gas Supply Corporation and Consolidated Natural Gas for 42 years before retiring at 62. During his last several years with CNG, he held the position of Supervisor, Design Engineering Services. Many of the pipelines and compressor stations in operation today by Dominion Resources were implemented and designed by Bob and his Team.
Bob was a life member of the Broad Run Baptist Church of Jane Lew where he served as Deacon, Sunday school superintendent and Board of Trustees. He was a member of the Gideon International and the Weston American Legion.
Bob is survived by his wife Avis, brother: Donald R. Linger and wife Phyllis of North Conway, NH, children: Roberta Carol Linger of Morgantown and Daniel Bruce Linger and wife Kathy of Denver, CO and grandchildren: Nelda Linger of Houston, TX, Nick Linger and wife Delilah of Austin, TX, Sgt. Preston Ross Linger of US Army, Alex Weber of Morgantown and Matthew Weber and wife Becky of Bethel Park, PA.
Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Bill Coffindaffer officiating.
