Joseph L. Dunivent
1959 - 2007
Joseph Lee "Jody" Dunivent, 47, of Cheyenne died Feb. 8 in Cheyenne.
Mr. Dunivent was born July 16, 1959, in Laramie and had lived here for 31 years.
He was an engineer for the Union Pacific Railroad.
Mr. Dunivent is survived by his wife Rose, whom he married May 1, 1993, in Cheyenne; four sons, Jory Vosler, Shea, Colby, and Jerron Dunivent, all of Cheyenne; a daughter, Jerrica Dunivent of Cheyenne; his parents, Lenny and Sharon Dunivent of Cheyenne; and two brothers, Denny and Bob Dunivent, both of Cheyenne.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Wiederspahn - Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes with Pastor Bob Ohlson officiating.
Cremation will follow at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
Burial of his urn will be in Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.

Rev. Clinton H. Lewis
1928 - 2007
The Rev. Clinton H. Lewis, 78, of Cheyenne died March 2 at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
Lewis was born Aug. 18, 1928, in New York City, N.Y., and had lived in Cheyenne since 1989.
He was the associate pastor at Calvary Baptist Church and the founder of Bethel Ministries of Cheyenne.
He also was involved in Jail Ministry, Youth Alternatives, Casey Family Program, National Association of Social Workers, Academy of Certified Social Workers, and the American Association of Christian Counselors.
Lewis is survived by two sons and daughters - in - law, David and Brenda Pemberton of Cheyenne, and Vincent and Anne Newsome of Germany; a daughter and son - in - law, Clara and Bob Milton of Richmond, Va.; eight grandchildren; a niece, Ethel R. Giles of New York; and a special friend and her five children, Dora Jones of Cheyenne.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Lewis, on Jan. 24, 2004; his parents, Robert and Alma Lewis; and a grandson.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Wiederspahn - Radomsky Chapel with Rev. Ernest Fitzhugh and Rev. Douglas Carr officiating.
Cremation will follow at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
His urn will be buried with his wife at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
Friends may contribute to the Boys & Girls Club of Cheyenne or Bethel Ministries of Cheyenne.

Barbara A. Taylor
1935 - 2007
Barbara A. Taylor, 71, of Wheatland died March 4 at her home in Wheatland.
She was born Aug. 3, 1935, in Mineola, N.Y., the daughter of Ida (Burdette) and Charles Clack.
Memorial services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the First Christian Church in Wheatland, with Rev. Lori Modisett of All Saints' Episcopal Church officiating.
Internment will be held privately at a later date.
Memorials to the American Cancer Society in care of Ellie Orr, 1054 Pine Street, Wheatland, WY 82201 would be appreciated by the family.

Elizabeth H. Bohlen
1920 - 2007
Elizabeth Hays Bohlen, 86, passed away Feb. 28 at the Morning Star Care Center in Fort Washakie.
Elizabeth was born July 9, 1920, in Rupert, Idaho. She was the oldest of three daughters of Charles G. Belgarde and Ella E. Hays Belgarde. She lived on a farm in the Paul, Idaho area but when the depression hit, her family moved in 1930 to a homestead in Little Valley, Ore. She attended school in Harper, Ore., and graduated in 1938. When not in school, she helped on the ranch by herding sheep in the desert on her horse named Daisy.
She attended Pepperdine College in Los Angeles for one year. On a visit to Rupert to visit childhood friends, she met a young man who became the love of her life. She married John (Johnny) H. Bohlen on July 29, 1939, in Payette, Idaho. They farmed in the Rupert area and were married for 40 years.
Elizabeth enjoyed quilting and gardening and was an active member of the Rupert Church of Christ, which had its beginning in her and Johnny's living room. She touched hundreds of young lives in a positive way through her many years as a Sunday school teacher. In 1998 Elizabeth left the family farm of 59 years and moved to Cheyenne to be near her son and daughter - in - law, Charles and Kay Bohlen. In 2006, she moved to Lander to be near her son and daughter - in - law, Michael and Ruth Bohlen. Elizabeth was a doting grandmother and great - grandmother.
Three children were born to Elizabeth and Johnny, Diana Jean, Charles H. and Michael J.
Elizabeth is survived by her sons and their wives, Charles H. Bohlen and wife, S. Kay Bohlen, of Cheyenne, Michael J. Bohlen and wife, Ruth A. Bohlen, of Lander; sisters Doris J. Alexander of Renton, Wash., and Margaret R. Crabtree of Maple Valley, Wash.; five grandchildren and eight great - grandchildren.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Charles G. Belgarde and Ella E. Belgarde; her husband, John H. Bohlen and daughter, Diana Jean Bohlen.
As per Elizabeth's wishes, she was cremated.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be in Rupert at a date still to be determined.
The family is deeply appreciative of the care provided to their mother by Little Wind Hospice and Morning Star Care Center. Memorial donations may be made to Little Wind Hospice, 716 College View Dr., Suite C, Riverton, WY 82501.

John Ruzicka
1922 - 2007
John Ruzicka, 84, of Sheridan died March 3 at Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County.
He was born July 7, 1922, in Kleenburn to John F. and Milada (Kadlec) Ruzicka.
He was raised on the Moncreiffe Ranch. He attended school in Big Horn and was the Valedictorian of the Big Horn High School Class of 1940. In 1942, he joined the Army Air Corps and served as a bombardier on a B - 24 Liberator in the Mediterranean and North African Theaters. At the time of his discharge in 1947, he had completed 50 combat missions and was honorably discharged as a 1st Lieutenant.
Following World War II he returned to the University of Wyoming and graduated in 1947 with a Bachelor of Arts. He continued his education and in 1961 received a Master of Science, also from UW. He taught school from 1947 to 1951 in Green River, then moved to Sheridan where he taught science for 33 years at Central Junior High School until his retirement in 1984.
On Aug. 17, 1947, in Rock Springs he married Frances Krek. The couple had three children. Throughout his life he maintained an interest in both building models and restoring automobiles. His collection included two hand restored Model - T Fords (a 1916 and a 1919), a 1929 Model - A Ford, and a 1947 Willey's Jeep, which many area residents may have seen on the streets of Sheridan. He was an avid hiker and fisherman in the Big Horn Mountains. His other interests included photography (especially photographing wild flowers), geology, and astronomy. He was especially proud of being an educator.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Frances, of Sheridan; their children, Father Gary J. Ruzicka, Rector of St. Mary's Cathedral in Cheyenne, Kathleen A. (Bernie) McManus of Sheridan, and Francy (Steve) Hoyer of Big Horn; his four grandchildren, Bill (Jenni) Luckett Jr., Erin N. (Brian) Fowler, Megan Hoyer and Melissa Hoyer; and his brother, Jerry Ruzicka and family of Everett, Wash.
A Christian Wake service will be held at 7 p.m. tonight at Holy Name Catholic Church.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Name Catholic Church.
Interment with military honors will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Big Horn.
Friends may contribute in his name to the Diocese of Cheyenne Permanent Deaconate Program, Box 1468, Cheyenne, WY 82003.

Mary L. Mitchell Greene
1908 - 2007
Mary Lucille Mitchell Greene, 99, of Cheyenne died Friday at Cheyenne Healthcare Center.
Mary Greene was born Jan. 1, 1908, in Cheyenne to Cordelia and George Mitchell. She was christened in the A.M.E. Methodist Church in Cheyenne. When she was 10 years old, her parents moved to Lincoln, Neb., where she attended grade school and high school and then the University of Nebraska.
In 1932, she married Cecil Martin in Cheyenne, later moving to Englewood, Colo.
After Cecil's death in 1937, Mary moved back to Lincoln, where she met and married Robert "Bud" Greene, who worked for the Omaha, Neb., Fire Department. After Robert's death she returned to Lincoln to live with her mother and stepfather. After her stepfather, Mitchell Walker, died, her mother lost her eyesight. In 1964, they returned to Cheyenne. Mary's mother passed away two months later.
After her mother's passing, she and her brother, Robert Charles Mitchell, rented a house on 24th St. and Bent Ave. in Cheyenne. Mary was a teacher's aid with the Foster Grandparents Program and worked at Deming and Pioneer Park Elementary Schools in LCSD No. 1. She was the "Outstanding Teacher's Aid" from September 1984 to August 1998.
Mary had been a member of the Ascension Lutheran Church since Oct. 25, 1981. Her faith was very important to her. She was an outstanding cook and seamstress, enjoyed embroidery, crocheting, knitting, making gifts for family and friends, and hosting elegant dinner parties.
She shared good times with family and friends in Colorado, Nebraska and Wyoming. She loved being around people.
Mrs. Greene is survived by cousins, Ret. Lt. Vernon and Heidi Baker of St. Maries, Idaho, Virgel Leonard of Lake Elsinore, Calif., George Leonard of Los Angeles, Tom Rhone of Gladstone, Mo., Ret. Col. Richard and Delores Biggs of Spokane, Wash., Linda Byrd and Meng Chi Hsieh and Daniel and David Hsieh, Elizabeth Byrd, and Jim W. Byrd II, all of Cheyenne, and Dr. Robert C. Byrd of Sheridan.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, parents, step - father, brother and a cousin, Ada Asford.
Memorial Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Ascension Lutheran Church with Pastor Paul Everett officiating.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens under the direction of Wiederspahn - Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mikel Heath, Mike Smith, Glen Schneider, Daniel Hsieh and David Hsieh.
Friends may send contributions to the Foster Grandparents Program or Ascension Lutheran Church.
