JUNE ARLINE WIDICK
Funeral services for June Arline Widick, 67, will be held at the Christ Episcopal Church in Douglas and also at the Esterbrook Community Church in Esterbrook.
The time and date will be announced later.
Mrs. Widick died July 2 at her home in Douglas following an extended illness.
A memorial to the Esterbrook Community Association, 32 Pine- Esterbrook, Douglas 82633 for the purchase of first aid supplies would be appreciated by the family.

MARSHALL FREDERICK DEIMER
Funeral services for Marshall Frederick Deimer, 92, were held July 8 at First Baptist Church in Lander with Pastor Tim Ricker officiating.
Interment was in Mount Hope Cemetery in Lander.
Mr. Deimer died July 1, 2006, at Douglas Care Center.
He was born Jan. 10, 1914, in Casper to Henry Simon and Lillian (Harris) Deimer.
He attended schools in Lander and Riverton and graduated from Los Angeles Technical School in 1932.
He then returned to Wyoming.
Mr. Deimer went into the trucking business and built roads in Yellowstone National Park.
In 1935, he went to work for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad, becoming a third generation railroader.
He retired in 1974 after 41 years.
Mr. Deimer married Mildred Williams on June 11, 1934.
Three children were born to this union.
They were divorced in 1958.
Mr. Deimer married Lorena (Murrill) Schoenewald in Lusk on Feb. 21, 1959.
They made their home in Lusk and later retired to Denver.
He became a resident of Michael Manor in Douglas in January 2005.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, pool, motorcycling, visiting family, and gardening.
He also enjoyed traveling and Denver Broncos football games.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and a sister.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lorena, of Douglas; children Margie Eye and Carol Beld of Florida and Fred Deimer of California; step-children Helen Hodgins of Gillette and Charles Schoenewald of Moorcroft; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three great-great-great grandchildren; one niece; two nephews; two great-nieces; and numerous great-great-great nieces and nephews.
A memorial to Douglas Care Center, 1108 Birch St., Douglas 82633, to Community Baptist Church, Nineteenth and Macon, Aurora, Colo. 80010, or to the Alzheimer Association, P.O. Box 851, Casper 82633, would be appreciated by the family.
Gorman Funeral Homes - Converse Chapel of Douglas was in charge of the arrangements.

TOMMIE B. BROW
Funeral services for Tommie B. Brow, 81, were July 8 at Gorman Funeral Homes – Converse Chapel in Douglas.
Pastor Tim Ricker of Frontier Baptist Church officiated.
Interment was at Douglas Park Cemetery with military honors.
Mr. Brow, a former resident of Douglas, died July 4, 2006, at his home in Casper.
He was born March 8, 1925, in Douglas to Godfrey Patrick and Lillian M. (McDonald) Brow.
He was reared and educated at country schools in the Poison Lake and Wagonhound areas south of Douglas.
He worked as a ranch hand, in road construction and mining, at the stockyards and for the city of Douglas.
Mr. Brow served in the Navy during World War II on the USS Great Salt Lake Battleship as a gunner.
He entered the service on Aug. 13, 1942, and was discharged on Dec. 1, 1945.
He married Luetta J. Bell on May 1, 1948, in Seward, Neb.
They lived in many places because of Tommie’s work, but in 1965 they made Douglas their permanent home.
He enjoyed fishing, the mountains and gardening.
Every Thanksgiving the family would decorate the cedar tree in the front yard for the Christmas season.
He loved kids, dogs and especially his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of Douglas; children Wanda J. Browning of Casper and Tommie B. Brow Jr. of Bar Nunn; sister Alma Tolle of Albuquerque, N.M.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Stanley and Donald Brow; and sisters Eva Hart, Patty Amspoker, Jane Brow, Mame Collins and Wanda Collins.
Serving as pallbearers were Thomas M. Brow, Christopher J. Syverson, Robert D. AuFrance, Tommie Jay Wintermote, Jeff Falkenburg and Garrett Falkenburg.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were George Falkenburg, Ben Middleton, Dave Alley, Bob Blackburn and Lee Gorsuch.
A memorial to Saint Joseph’s Children’s Home, P.O. Box 1117, Torrington 82240, or to the donor’s favorite Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
The family would also like everyone to hug a veteran and thank them for our freedom.

JUNE WIDICK
Private services for June Widick, 67, were held July 10 at Christ Episcopal Church in Douglas and at Esterbrook Community Church.
Mrs. Widick died July 2, 2006, at Irwin Towers in Douglas following an extended illness.
She was born June 26, 1939, to parents Fay Swope and Genevieve (Van Blarcum) Swope near Lusk.
She grew up near Lusk on her parents’ homestead.
She attended school at Indian Creek School through eighth grade and graduated from Niobrara County High School.
She married Charles Widick on Aug. 25, 1958.
They had three daughters, Charlotte Widick of New Braunfels, Texas, Cheryl Pollo of Douglas and Cheri Gibson of Douglas.
Mrs. Widick was a resident of Douglas for nearly 50 years.
She and her husband owned the Wrangler restaurant in the 1960s and 70s.
Her community activities included membership in the Jaycettes during the 1960s.
She also spent significant time in the Esterbrook community and was active in the Esterbrook church.
She enjoyed horseback riding, dancing, reading, card-playing, crocheting and spending time with family and friends.
Mrs. Widick is survived by her mother, Genevieve Swope; sisters Claudetta Tollman, Dolores Hanzlik Mitchell and Yvonne Jensen and brother-in-law Richard Tollman; her daughters; sons-in-law Robert Pollo, James Weaver and David Gibson; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and innumerable other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father and husband.

Memorial donations to the Esterbrook Community Association, 32 Pine-Esterbrook, Douglas 82633, for the purchase of first aid supplies would be appreciated by the family.

VIRGINIA ANN GRAVES
Funeral services for Virginia Ann Graves, 62, were held June 30 at Chapel of the Palms Funeral Home in Stockton, Calif.
Interment was held at Cherokee Memorial Park in Stockton.
Ms. Graves died June 26, 2006, in Stockton.
She was born March 14, 1944, to Marcus and Georgia Graves.
She is survived by her son Bill and his wife Angie Graves of Stockton; her mother Georgia of Douglas; sisters Georgia and Jim Moore of Midwest and Linda and Joe Fabian of Wheatland; and grandchildren Rion and Dustin Graves of Cave Junction, Ore., and Melissa Smith of Stockton.
She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and three aunts.
Her father and one brother, Capt. William B. Graves, preceded her in death.

CARSON ATKINS
Memorial Services for Carson Donald Brody Atkins, 1, will be held Aug. 17 at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 209 S. 4th St., Douglas. Alan Dugan will be officiating. He was born on July 21, 2005, in Casper.
He died in Denver, Colo., suddenly, following a brief illness.
He is survived by his parents, James and Misty Atkins and brother Trenton; paternal grandparents Steve Atkins and Bill and Joyce Miller of Douglas; paternal great-grandparents Donald and Phyllis Shuler of Douglas; maternal grandparents Jim and Sookie Dugan of Douglas; maternal great-grandparents Inez and Maria Amparo Landeroz of Douglas and Tess Finley of Chadron, Neb.; and many aunts, uncles and family members.
Carson was always a very happy baby.
He loved to play with his big brother, go to the park, swimming, loved the outdoors and always had a smile for everyone he met.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents Bob and Irene Atkins, Richard Atkins, of Nebraska and Clarence Dugan of Douglas. A memorial fund has been set up at Converse County Bank in Douglas.
