Levi Davis
Funeral services for Levi Dallas Davis of Rozet, Wyoming will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 28, 2005, at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Gillette, Wyoming with Kenna Rose officiating. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. on Sunday, February 27, 2005 at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home.
Levi Dallas Davis died Thursday, February 24, 2005 at his home in Rozet, Wyoming.
Levi Dallas Davis was born on May 9, 1987 in Gillette, Wyoming the son of Dallas and Leslie (Thomas) Davis. Levi attended elementary school in Rozet and during this time he played t-ball and baseball. He attended Twin Spruce Jr. High and was currently a senior at Campbell County High School. Levi enjoyed riding bicycle and skate boarding around town with his friends. His parents were always amazed that he never came home with any broken bones from all of his tricks and maneuvers he'd mastered on both his bike and board. Levi loved the out of doors, camping, hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He also enjoyed four wheeling with his grandpa. Levi was an avid turkey, deer and elk hunter. He was a member of the National Wild Turkey Foundation.
Levi will be dearly missed by his Parents, Dallas and Leslie Davis of Rozet, Wyoming and Sister Kaycee Jo (Mike) Todd of Hawaii; Maternal Grandpa Ted Thomas of Rozet, Wyoming; Paternal Grandma Lucille Davis of Corning, Iowa; Uncle Mike (Kris) Thomas and Uncle Tom Thomas both of Gillette, Wyoming; Aunt Linda Monjarez (Cricket) of Janesville, Wisconsin and Aunt Tamara (Frank) Buechter of Rosehill, Kansas and many great Aunts and Uncles as well as numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his Grandma, Carol Thomas and Grandpa, Delmar Davis.
A memorial has been established in Levi's name.

Shelby Michael Case
Shelby Michael Case of Gillette, Wyoming was born silently June 1, 2005 to Michael Case and VanDee Fales.
Shelby was survived by the grandparents Terri & Larry Williams of Sandy Valley, Nevada, Gary Fales of Gillette, Wyoming, Deborah Murrah of Georgia, Aunt Niccole Fales of Gillette, Wyoming; three uncles, Cody Gackle, William Case, and Kyle Case all of Georgia; great grandparents Phyllis & Jack Fales of Williston, North Dakota
She was preceded in to death by one uncle, great-grandmother, and one great uncle.

Alainna Renee Brodie
Funeral services for Alainna Renee Brodie of Gillette, Wyoming will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19, 2005 at the Antelope Valley Baptist Church in Gillette, Wyoming with Pastor Doug Rumsey officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 18, 2005 at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home in Gillette, Wyoming. Interment will follow.
Alainna Brodie, passed away in her home on July 13, 2005.
Alainna was born February 9, 2005 in Gillette, Wyoming to Robert and Jennifer Brodie.
She is survived by her parents and two sisters: three year old Annalecia and eighteen month old Aubryella Brodie all of Gillette; grandparents: Daniel and Donna Morgan of Gillette, Wyoming; Dianne and Art Munoz of Oceanside, California; Robin Brodie of Erie, Colorado; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Alainna is preceded in death by one grandpa: Darryl Mandelke.
Alainna was a beautiful ray of sunshine. For the short time she was with us she brightened our lives in a truly special way. Our sweet baby will forever be in our hearts, she will be missed always.

EmmaLee Weinand
EmmaLee Weinand, age 2, died on Saturday, March 27, 2004 at her home in Gillette of unknown causes.
EmmaLee Weinand, known to her family as Emmie, was born the fourth child in the family on December 13, 2001 the daughter of Brian and Carene (Emmett) Weinand in Gillette, Wyoming. Emmie had to pack a lot of life into two short years. EmmaLee loved to attend her primary nursery class. She liked to ride in her red wagon and play outside with her family. She loved getting into mischief and she was very good at it. Emmie's mother will miss her fast smile, fun personality, and warm hugs. Her father will miss her climbing into his lap to read and snuggle. Chad and Abby will miss her 'helping' with all their projects and Kaleb will miss his partner in crime and best friend. She will be missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.
EmmaLee is survived by her parents, two brothers: Chad Emmett and Kaleb Jay; one sister Abigail all of the family home in Gillette; maternal grandmother Diana Emmett of Lovell, Wyoming; paternal grandparents Michael and JulieAnn Weinand of Cowley, Wyoming and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Jay Emmett and one uncle, Chad Weinand.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in EmmaLee's name at the Community First National Bank of Gillette, Wyoming. Donations and condolences may be sent in care of the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home at 210 W. 5th St., Gillette, Wyoming 82716.

Loren Diede
Loren Mark Diede, age 12, of Gillette was taken unexpectedly and tragically on October 16, 2003 as the result of injuries in which he sustained from a car accident in Gillette last Tuesday.
Loren was born the beloved son of Mark and Irene (Leligdowicz) Diede on June 26, 1991 in Gillette, Wyoming, as a gift to his father whose birthday is the same. Mark helped deliver Loren, with Dr. Parker.
As a toddler, Loren developed some beautiful traits that as he grew older became his lasting impression: his green eyes with his long dark eyelashes, a cowlick in his hair that would never stay down and his infectious smile. He loved chocolate milk, and his favorite snack being goldfish crackers. At this early age, he had the spark of an active imagination, which was something that never left him. He grew up making up stories and being quite expressive with much detail. He attended Pronghorn Elementary School from kindergarten on through the sixth grade. While attending Pronghorn, Loren played the tuba in the fifth and sixth grades. Graduating in 2003 from elementary school to continue to Sage Valley Jr. High, where he was currently enrolled in the seventh grade. Loren was a happy boy, always laughing and telling jokes - he loved to make others laugh too. He would give of himself so many things, he would help his neighbors by shoveling snow off their sidewalks, taking their garbage out every week and walking the dog. This was just a glimpse of what a people person Loren was. He very much enjoyed playing games and cards with his family, riding his bike with his neighbor friends and cousins. Loren enjoyed so many facets in life, so many of them creating memories for his family and friends. In the fall and winter, Loren would enjoy hunting and ice fishing with his dad, brother and friends. The most cherished memories being the family tradition of going to the Bighorns to go sledding and to get a fresh tree for Christmas. In the spring and summer roller blading, boating and fishing. Loren played baseball for the Gillette Southside Little League from kindergarten through sixth grade, games of kickball, paintball, riding the family four-wheeler. Independently Loren liked to play his Game Boy, video and computer games. He enjoyed reading, his favorite books being that of the Harry Potter series. However, when asked his favorite subject, his choice was math.
Loren will be sorely missed by his parents, Mark and Irene Diede; two sisters: Lori and Lisa; and one brother, Lee; Buddy the family collie and Jumper the cat all of Gillette, Wyoming; his maternal grandmother, Romualda Leligdowicz, paternal grandmother J. Meri Frank, grandmother, Charlotte Diede, all of Billings, Montana; four aunts: Jadzia (Lynn) Stokke of Chanhassen, Minnesota, Krysia (Tom) Devous of Billings, Montana, Basia (Dave) Neujahr of Faribault, Minnesota, Dawn (Tom) Ripley of Caldwell, Idaho; four uncles: Marian (Linda) Leligdowicz , John (Judy) Leligdowicz both of Billings, Montana; Joe (Carla) Leligdowicz of Custer, Montana and Les (Michelle) Diede of Worland, Wyoming; numerous cousins many, many, friends, teachers and wonderful neighbors.
Loren is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Boleslaw J. Leligdowicz, paternal grandfather, Thomas R. Diede and cousin Joy Leligdowicz.
Loren was a kind and sharing, handsome son, grandson, brother, cousin, nephew, friend who touched the hearts of everyone who knew him and he will be deeply missed. Loren will now be our guardian angel.
Mass of Christian Burial for Loren will be at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 23, 2003, at the St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Gillette, Wyoming, with Father Thomas Kadera officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pisgah cemetery in Gillette, Wyoming. A Vigil service and a Celebration of Loren's life, will be 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, October, 22, 2003 at the Pronghorn Elementary School gymnasium. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 21, 2003 from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Stevenson Funeral Home of Gillette, Wyoming has been entrusted with the arrangements. Friends, parents, teachers, and family are encouraged to come to the visitation and vigil and sign Loren's casket .

Jillian Ross Curtis
Funeral Services for Jillian Ross Curtis, infant daughter of Donald W and Shannon K (Kiever) Curtis, will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, September 13, 2003 at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Gillette, Wyoming with Pastor Dan Morgan of New Life Wesleyan Church officiating. Burial will follow at The Mount Pisgah cemetery in Gillette, Wyoming. Jillian Ross Curtis was born silently on Sunday, September 7, 2003 at Campbell County Memorial Hospital in Gillette, Wyoming.
Jillian Ross is survived by her parents Donald and Shannon Curtis, her 3 year old brother Justin Curtis, all of Gillette, maternal grandparents George and Karen Grassell of Sunsites, Arizona, Jim and Dee Kiever of Daniel, Wyoming, paternal grandparents Dick and Shirley Curtis of Chico, California, Gene and Susan Eversull of Pinedale, Wyoming, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Payton Jo Crowe
Graveside services for Payton Jo Crowe, infant daughter of Laura (England) Crowe and Gregory Crowe will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, February 5, 2004 at Mt. Pisgah cemetery with Rev. Daniel Morgan from the Church of the Nazarene in Gillette, Wyoming officiating. A memorial service for Payton for family and friends will be held at 6:30 P.M. on Friday, February 6, 2004 at the Church of the Nazarene in Gillette, Wyoming.
Payton Jo Crowe was born silently on February 1, 2004 at Campbell County Memorial Hospital in Gillette, Wyoming.
Saddened by the loss of Payton, are her parents; two brothers: Matthew and Joseph Crowe; grandparents, Larry and Judi England of Gillette, Wyoming, Verlin and Rita Crowe of Chubbuck, Idaho, and Jerry and Donna Wallace of Osage Beach, Missouri; great-grandpa, Gerald Jones of Gillette, Wyoming; great-grandma, Phyllis Treat of Meridian, Idaho and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial has been established to the Church of the Nazarene in Gillette, Wyoming.

Ruth Medicine Bird Harris

Ruth Harris, 96, oldest living Northern Cheyenne, died of natural causes on Sunday morning, June 20, 2004 at the Heritage Acres Nursing Home in Hardin.
Ruth Medicine Bird was born on December 21, 1907 in Ashland, Montana, the daughter of Nelson Medicine Bird and Essa Bullard. Ruth was raised in Ashland where she attended school at the St. Labre Indian Mission. For a time, Ruth also attended school at the Genoa Boarding School in Nebraska.
Ruth worked as a practical nurse at the old Lame Deer Hospital where she met her husband Bryan. Ruth married Bryan James Harris in 1929. For the next 29 years, Ruth and Bryan Sr. raised their 8 children on Greenleaf and in Lame Deer.
Ruth was proficient at beading and sewing. She enjoyed preparing and drying foods in the traditional Cheyenne way. In her later years, Ruth took much joy in traveling to camp meetings and revivals. She enjoyed Christian fellowship and always had a ride to church. Ruth raised several of her grandchildren; Ron, Becky, Pam, Randy and Kenneth (Shane) Harris.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Bryan in 1958. She was also preceded in death by her parents; stepson, Charles Carl; sons, Chester (Chuck), Gilbert, Bryan Jr. & Dale; grandchildren, Serena, Dale and Gail Harris; and brother, James Medicine Bird.
She is survived by her sons, Francis (Ataloa) Harris of Lame Deer and Kenneth Harris of Colstrip; daughters, Marlene (Joe) Anderson and Connie (Leonard Sr.) Brien, both of Lame Deer. Ruth is also survived by 39 grandchildren, 101 great-grandchildren and 49 great-great-grandchildren. Among those surviving Ruth are members of the Foote, Haugen, Curley, Two Bulls, Limpy, Littlebird, Tallwhiteman, Wolfblack, Spotted Wolf, Pine, Crazymule and Seminole families, as well as the Redhat family of Oklahoma.
Wake services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2004 at the Blessed Sacrament Church in Lame Deer. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2004 at the Blessed Sacrament Church in Lame Deer with burial at the Harris family cemetery on the Birney Divide. Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Forsyth is in charge of arrangements.

Serjio Cortez Jr.
Serjio Cortez Jr., 17, is returned to his father in Heaven on Wednesday September 15, 2004, after sustaining injuries due to an automobile accident near Superior, Montana. Funeral services will be held in Wright, Wyoming at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. There will be a visitation held on Monday September 20, from 6-8 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Viewing will also be at 10:00 am with the services beginning at 11:00 am. on Tuesday, September 21, 2004.
Serjio was a junior at Wright Jr. Sr. High school and was active in both school and church. He was currently a member of the WJSHS football team. Serjio was a very loving and kind young man who was friends with everyone. Serjio loved the great outdoors and would often spend time camping with his family.
Serjio is survived by his parent, Serjio Sr. and Maria Cortez and four younger sisters: Adriana (Audrey), Kayla, Veila, and Sienna of Wright Wyoming. Grandmothers Thomasa Rios and Santos Laredo Cortez, Grandfather Rodolfo Garcia.
He was preceded in death by his Grandfather Alberto Cortez.

Aaron S. Winemiller
Aaron S. Winemiller, age 34, of Gillette Wyoming passed away on Monday, April 18, 2005 at the Campbell County Detention Center of suicide.

Sherri Stetson
Funeral service for Sherri Stetson, age 43, of Rozet will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at 11:00 A.M the Stevenson Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Gillette.
Mrs. Stetson died in her sleep on Thanksgiving Day November 24, 2005, at her home in Rozet, Wyoming of unknown causes.
Sherri Jo was born at Campbell County Memorial Hospital in Gillette on January 29, 1962 to John and JoAnn (Young) Tholson. She was raised and educated in Douglas, Wyoming. When Sherri was 16 years old, her parents took her on a trip to Hawaii without her brothers and sisters. 'She enjoyed being the baby of the family and reaping the rewards,' reminisces her sister Jacque, on their childhood together.
Upon her schooling she met E. Duane 'Corky' Stetson. They were married March 23, 1979 at the Congregational Church in Douglas, Wyoming. 'She was beautiful on that day, and it was the happiest day of my life,' remembers Corky. The couple then moved to Laramie where they could finish school. In 1989, the family came to Rozet where they made their home since. She was a devoted 4-H mother working with the kids to raise their animals. When the kids got older she was active in the boy's sports and Kirsten's drama. She was president of the Moorcroft Little League for three years. Sherri enjoyed wrestling even though her sons did not participate, she liked to watch and cheer on the other boys. She loved raising kids and was a mother to many. Sherri defined her life by her family and what she had to do to make them happy. She loved each and everyone one of them for every lasting moment prior to her death. She was the life of a stay-at-home mom, responsible for raising three hyperactive children. Her fondest memories were always close to her family. In her life, she watched her children grow into adulthood. Kirsten, her daughter and oldest child, move to New York City to pursue a career and her dreams in theater. Her son, Joseph graduated in Journalism from the University of Wyoming and is now beginning his life as a writer. Patrick, her youngest child, is currently in his second year in the College of Engineering at the University of Wyoming. Sherri had a keen mind for politics and bookkeeping. She and her husband started Stetson Engineering in 1992, which Sherri did the bookkeeping for. Since that time she has made friends from many of their clients from all around Northeast Wyoming. Sherri also loved traveling with her husband to Denver, Rapid City, and Casper and to meetings all over the country. She treasured her trips to New York to visit her daughter and attend the Broadway shows.
Sherri is survived by her husband, E. Duane 'Corky' Stetson, and her 3 children: Kirsten of New York City, Joseph and Patrick Stetson both of Laramie; She also is survived by her parents, John and JoAnn Tholson of Rozet; her 2 sisters: Jacque Gray of Rozet and Susan White of Douglas; her brother Daniel Tholson of Casper; mother and father and law, LaVern and Shirley Stetson of Lincoln, Nebraska 2 sisters-in-law: Patricia Warning of Montrose, Colorado, Helen Fankhauser of Waverly, Nebraska and brother-in-law Ron Stetson of Lincoln, Nebraska as well as many nieces and nephews.

Charlie Snorteland
Visitation for Charlie Snorteland, age 36, of Gillette, WY will be held from 3-7 P.M., Tuesday, November 22, 2005 at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home in Gillette. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Mr. Snorteland died November 16, 2005 at the University of Utah Hospital from injuries he received in an automobile accident on November 12, 2005 in Montana.
Charles Alan Snorteland, known to his family and friends as Charlie, was born June 14, 1969 in Hettinger, North Dakota, the son of Alan and Sharon (Evenson) Snorteland. Charlie was raised and educated in Bison, South Dakota. He graduated from Hettinger High School in 1987. After graduation Charlie entered the military serving in the army. After his honorable discharge Charlie worked as a custom combiner in South Dakota. He worked for several years as an over the road truck driver for various companies. Charlie lived in Bison and Rapid City, South Dakota before coming to Gillette in 2000 for a job at Great Western Homes. On March 21, 2003 he married Kris Hendricks in Las Vegas.
He currently was a chief operator for Herzog Services Inc., a job he very much enjoyed. Charlie's enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, carpentry work, playing poker, loved Nascar, watching football and riding his newly purchased four wheeler. Charlie was member of the Gillette Eagles Lodge.
Charlie is survived by his wife and her family of Gillette, two sons: Devyn Hendricks of Gillette and CJ Snorteland of North Dakota; his father of Bison, SD; two sisters: Debbie Miller of Hettinger, North Dakota and Cindy Bertsch of Warner, South Dakota; brother, Mike Fix of North Carolina, several aunts , uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Charlie is preceded in death by his mother, grandparents Charles and Eileen Snorteland, Bobbie and Arvin Everson, and a brother in law Lauren Miller.
Memorials are suggested to benefit the University of Utah Burn Trauma ICU. Memorials and condolences may be sent in Charlie's name in care of the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home, 210 W. 5th St. Gillette, Wyoming 82716
