Elmer Bohl
Elmer died Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at his home due to complications of cancer.
Elmer Bohl was born September 21, 1930 the son of Arthur and Gertrude Bohl in Madison, South Dakota where he was raised and educated. Upon graduating he entered the Air Force, serving in the Special Services in Korea. After his honorable discharge he returned to Madison where he farmed until 1982. He came to Gillette in 1982 where he worked in the concrete construction industry. In 1985 he began work as a security guard until his retirement in 1992.
Elmer loved to watch things grow and take care of his llamas and goats. He was an expert hunter and fisherman. His favorite time was each Memorial Day weekend when the whole family would go camping and fishing. Elmer was an excellent wood craftsman and created beautiful wood art. Although hard of hearing, he made everyone he met feel welcomed and loved.
Elmer is survived by his wife, Carol; one son, Bart Bohl of Casper, Wyoming; two daughters; Shaunda Bohl and Tammy Bohl, both of Gillette; and one sister, Betty Crusan of Wisconsin and 8 grandchildren.
Elmer was preceded in death by his parents and two sons; Jeff Bohl and Bret Bohl.
Private family services will be held next week.

Mick Creighton FitzGerald
Mick Creighton FitzGerald passed away on Sunday, December 4th, as the result of a tragic automobile accident.
Mick was born October 13, 1988 to William "Bill" and Rita FitzGerald. He grew up in Forsyth and was a junior at Forsyth High School. Mick had a huge wonderful heart, which he showed by trying to help everyone he met. Mick also had a great sense of humor. He just had to smile at you to make you laugh. Mick enjoyed driving and working on cars, listening to music, drawing, and spending time with his friends, especially his best friend, Kyle.
Mick is survived by his parents, Bill & Rita, sister Heather (Jason) Hasbrook of Big Timber, brothers Mackensie (Marcia) Taylor of Billings, Judd FitzGerald of Forsyth, Barry FitzGerald of Barstow, California and Jordan FitzGerald, grandparents Francis & Edith Schmidt all of Forsyth, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Mick is preceded in death by his grandparents Melvin Curtis & Mary FitzGerald and uncle Melvin "Mick" FitzGerald.
Mick once wrote, "family teaches you how to live right, how to love and that you get what you know from your family." Mick, we will never forget your wonderful personality and smile. You taught us a lot about love and life. We love you and will miss you deeply.
Memorial services will be held at the Forsyth Middle School, Friday December 9th at 2pm. A memorial fund has been established at Wells Fargo, PO Box 1170 Forsyth, MT 59327.

Duane Lynn Buckles
Duane Lynn Buckles, 53, died Thursday, August 12, 2004 in Billings, Montana.
Duane was born to Fred and Lorena Buckles on August 24, 2950 in Wolf point, Montana. He graduated from the Poplar High School and attended MSU in Bozeman and later enlisted in the U.S. Air Force.
He had a love of photography and enjoyed cooking and sharing meals. He love his pets from birds to dogs, especially his golden lab, Bailey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Roberta Joy and a brother, Tom.
His surviving four brothers are Jim (Monica), Ron (Patti) of Poplar, Montana, Robert (Mary Frances) of Wolf Point and Fred (Olivia) of Spokane, Washington and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be Thursday, August 19th in Poplar at 10 A.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Inurnment will be in Poplar City cemetery following the service.
Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Neva Maxine Wilmot
Funeral Services for Neva Wilmot age 83, of Upton, Wyoming will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday June 1, 2005 at the Upton United Methodist Church in Upton, Wyoming with Pastor Joel Spencer officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pisgah cemetery in Gillette Wyoming. Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home of Gillette is entrusted with the arrangements.
Mrs. Wilmot died Saturday May 28, 2005 at the Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins Colorado of natural causes.
NEVA MAXINE WILMOT, 83, was born March 17, 1922 in Layver, Wyoming to Glenn & Zaida (Rippy) Hayden. She grew up and attended schools in the Gillette, Wyoming area. Upon her graduation she attended normal training at the University of Wyoming. She taught country school for four years south of Gillette.
Neva married Raleigh Wilmot in 1942 and they moved to Upton Wyoming where the couple made their home for sixty years. She worked in the local clothing store for twenty-three years.
She was a member of the Upton United Methodist Church, LEC Club, Upton Senior Citizens, Xi Zeta Chapter of Beta Signa Phi, Order of the Eastern Star and Guild Group.
Neva is survived by her children, Roger Wilmot of Laramie, Wyoming and Karla Luprey of Fort Collins, Colorado; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one brother; two sisters and two sisters-in-law.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and three brothers.

Ruby Wilma Dillinger
Funeral services for Ruby Wilma (Thomas) Dillinger, 92, of Gillette, Wyoming will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 19, 2005 at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Gillette with Rev. Robert Smoot officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Mount Pisgah cemetery in Gillette, Wyoming.
Mrs. Dillinger passed away Friday, October 14, 2005 at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home of natural causes.
She was born April 29, 1913 Cainsville, Missouri, the daughter of Austin and Nellie Thomas. The family came to Wyoming in 1917 to homestead near Lawver, Wyoming. After completing normal training in Gillette, she started teaching at the OR School (South of Rozet). On May 18, 1940, she married William (Bill) Dillinger in Gillette. They farmed and ranched in Campbell and Crook counties until 1970. They then purchased a farm near Newell, South Dakota where they resided until 1995, when they returned to Gillette.
Mrs. Dillinger enjoyed working in her vegetable and flower gardens, volunteering with 4-H and through church. She was also known for being an excellent cook. She loved animals particularly “bum” lambs and her dogs.
She will be missed by her two sons; Jerry (Kathie) Dillinger of Gillette and Jacob (Connie) Dillinger of Powell; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Dillinger was preceded in death by her husband; parents; an infant son; and three brothers, Archie Thomas, Vern Thomas, and Raymond Thomas.

Ronald Ray Lawrence
Ronald Ray Lawrence was born on December 26, 1930 to George and Pearl (Legan) Lawrence in Shelby, Iowa. Ron worker for AT&T in Underwood, Iowa for over fifteen years. He was a member of the American Legion, IBEW Union and the National Rifle Association.
He is survived by his wife Marilyn Lawrence of Gillette, Wyoming, Two daughters, Lisa Baines of Denver, Colorado and Rene Blankenship of Gillette, Wyoming, one brother, Jesse Lawrence of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and five grandchildren.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Leslie, Milton and Russell Lawrence.

Wendy Bednarz
Wendy Bednarz, age 40 passed away at her home in Gillette, Wyoming on Sunday, February 27, 2005 from a long battle with cancer since she was thirty-two years old.
Wendy Bednarz was born on September 28, 1964 the daughter of Al and Judee (Ambuehl) Strukel in Virginia, Minnesota.
Wendy was raised and educated in Biwabik, Minnesota. She attended college in Hibbing, Minnesota for word processing. Wendy was employed with the county of Duluth, Minnesota and worked as a certified nursing assistant in Virginia, Minnesota before moving to Gillette, Wyoming.
In Gillette, Wendy was employed at the Granny’s Kitchen and Bazel’s restaurant as a hostess and waitress. For six years she was employed with Perkins restaurant.
Wendy enjoyed quilting, camping and loved to spend time with her family. She was a devoted mother to her children.
During her illness she spent a great amount of time at the oncology unit in Gillette and appreciated Dr. McMahill and his staff. They became her extended family and she enjoyed making quilts for them and her many friends.
Wendy is survived by her husband Joey Granzer of Gillette, Wyoming, her son, Jacob Bednarz, her two daughters, Brittany and Kayla Bednarz all of Gillette, Wyoming, her mother, Judee Strukel of Fresno, California, her father, Al Strukel of Victorville, California, her mother-in-law, Sally Schofield of Gillette, Wyoming, her brother, Dean Strukel of Huntington Beach, California, her sister, Sabrina (Craig) Granberg of Kansas City, Missouri, Nieces, Courtney Granberg and Kaylee Granberg of Kansas City, Missouri, Alyssa Strukel of Virginia, Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.

William H. West
Funeral services for William H. West, known to his family and friends as “Bill,” will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 25, 2004, at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Gillette, Wyoming with Pastor Chad Brucklacher officiating. Interment will follow at the Mount Pisgah cemetery in Gillette, Wyoming. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, September 24, 2004, at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Gillette, Wyoming.
Bill died on September 22, 2004, at his home in Gillette of natural causes.
Bill was born on May 17, 1939, the son of James T. and Cliffie Gladys (Walker) West in Dearborn, Michigan. He attended school in Muskegon, Michigan. After his schooling, he entered the U.S. Air force, serving as a cook. Upon his honorable discharge, he returned to Muskegon, Michigan where he began his family. Bill then moved to Elk Heart, Indiana and worked as a foreman for South Wind Products. This job brought him to Gillette, Wyoming in 1979 with his wife and three sons. For a short time Bill worked for the Wyodak Power Plant before being employed with the Carter Mining Company as an electrician for the Rawhide Mine.In 1988, he married Sandra A. Southard at their home in Gillette. Bill and Sandra’s families combined and together they had nine children who all became the focus of his life, that being said, a majority of his time being spent with his kids and grandchildren. During his retirement, Bill was a volunteer for the Crime Watch Program, Neighborhood Watch, Business Watch, Victims Witness Program and briefly associated with Garf.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, boating, and being in the out of doors.
Bill is survived by his wife, Sandra West, of Gillette, Wyoming; his children: Chris West of Spearfish, South Dakota; Cory West of Gillette, Wyoming; Jim West of Gillette, Wyoming ; Jodi Rudicil of Muskegon, Michigan; Jerry Moore of Sturgis, South Dakota; Michelle (West) Duncan of Connell, Washington; Jamie Hooker and Shelly Besel, both of Gillette, Wyoming; two brothers: James West of Joliet, Illinois; Lonnie West residing in Florida, twenty-eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Pat Grabinski; a brother, Lee West; and a daughter, Marsha Southard.

Hayden Teddy Michael Lazarus
Graveside service for Hayden Teddy Michael Lazarus of Gillette, Wyoming will be held Saturday, August 27, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Mount Pisgah cemetery in Gillette, Wyoming with Pastor Chad Brucklacher officiating.
Hayden Teddy Michael Lazarus died of complications of a premature birth.
Hayden was born in the early morning hours of August 9, 2005 at Presbyterian St. Luke’s hospital in Denver, Colorado. He was with us for two weeks before he gently went to be with Jesus on August 23, 2005. We love and will miss him dearly.
Hayden is survived by one brother, Parker; two sister’s Brittany and Ashley; parents Jennifer and Ted Lazarus, all of Gillette, Wyoming; grandparents Richard and Marilyn Grant; Dwight and Jackie Lazarus.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother Teddy Michael Lazarus.

Curtis M. Gingery
Funeral services for Curtis M. Gingery, age 95, of Gillette, Wyoming will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 3, 2006 at the Christian Church, 100 Flying Circle, Gillette, Wyoming with Rev. Mike Dennis officiating. Interment will be held in the White River cemetery, in White River, South Dakota at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 4, 2006.
Curtis passed away on Sunday February 26, 2006 at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home following a short illness.
Curtis was born in Randolph, Nebraska on April 15, 1910 to Harrison and Cora (Cheever) Gingery. He grew up in Nebraska in the Hartington area. In the early 1930s Curtis and his parents moved to a ranch near White River, South Dakota. In 1949 he married June King, and they had 3 children. They owned the lumberyard in White River for many years before selling it and purchasing a lumberyard in Kennebec, South Dakota, in 1963. In 1971 the family moved to Hill City, South Dakota, where Curtis worked for many years as a school custodian and at the local campgrounds.
In 1990 June and Curtis moved to Gillette, Wyoming, to be with their daughter.
Curtis is survived by his wife, June; daughter Ardis of Gillette, 2 sons, Lyle of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Jack of Havre, Montana; 2 grandsons, 2 granddaughters and 1 great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters.
