Bryce Chavers

Funeral services for Bryce Chavers, will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 2, 2005 at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Gillette, Wyoming with Pastor Charley Carpenter of the New Life Wesleyan Church officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 1, 2005 at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home in Gillette.
Bryce Kelly Chavers, age 16, died at his home in Gillette, Wyoming on Saturday, November 26, 2005.
Bryce was born on September 30, 1989 the son of Bobby Ray Chavers and Tammy Kaye Porter in Sheridan, Wyoming. The family moved to Gillette, Wyoming and then to Grand Junction, Colorado when he was five. Then the family moved back to Gillette, Wyoming when he was ten years old. He was attending Twin Spruce Junior High in Gillette and worked at Camelanes. Bryce loved tigers, bowling (he bowled on two leagues), tinkering with things to find out how they worked, inventing things, spending time with his brother and tormenting him, playing with his baby brother to make him “tough”, fishing, camping, riding in his dads eighteen wheeler and Harry Potter. His ambitions were to be a tattoo artist, go into the service, drive truck and be a pilot.
Bryce was survived by his mother, Tammy Porter of Gillette, Wyoming; father, Bobby Chavers of Pensacola, Florida; three brothers: Bubba Proffit and Jacob Hochhalter of Gillette, Wyoming, Colton Chavers of Pensacola, Florida; sister Angela; paternal grandfather, Ray Chavers of Pensacola, Florida; paternal grandmother, Helen Hadley of Pensacola, Florida; maternal grandmother, Janet Porter of Sundance, Wyoming and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather James Porter.
In Lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to benefit a college fund for his brothers condolences may be sent in care of Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home, 210 W. 5th Street, Gillette, Wyoming 82716

Curtis Spence

Funeral services for Curtis Spence, age 21, of Pine Haven, Wyoming will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 31, 2005 at the Upton Elementary Auditorium with Reverend Joe Spencer of the United Methodist Church of Upton officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood cemetery in Upton, Wyoming. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, December 30, 2005 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Gillette.
Curtis Lee Spence was taken home to be with God on Tuesday, December 27, 2005 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Curtis was born on May 29, 1984 the son of Lance Spence and Cally (Benson) Spence in Newcastle, Wyoming. Curtis was raised and educated in Upton, Wyoming. Growing up Curtis enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing sports, especially football. In August of 2003 he married Nicole Olheiser. They had one son, Landon Benjamin Spence who was born on December 4, 2003. Nicole and Curtis later divorced. Curtis and Landon enjoyed spending time together in Pine Haven, Wyoming where Curtis was currently living. They enjoyed watching “fights” on television, playing outside, and hanging out at “Damma’s” house. Curtis also enjoyed hanging out with his friends, cruising in the “Blazy”, playing X-Box and watching the Denver Broncos and Nebraska Cornhuskers. Curtis was currently employed by his uncles at Benson Construction in Gillette, Wyoming where he was foreman of his own crew.
Curtis will be missed by his son, Landon Spence of Moorcroft, Wyoming, his mother, Cally Spence of Pine Haven, Wyoming, his father, Lance (Virginia) Spence of Clarksville, Arkansas, 2 sisters; Alicia Spence of Upton, Wyoming and Paige Spence of Clarksville, Arkansas, 1 brother, Tanner Spence of Clarksville, Arkansas. He will also be missed by maternal grandmother, Lita Benson of Upton, Wyoming, paternal grandparents, Luann Spence and Rocky (Judith) Spence of Grove, Oklahoma, 1 niece Ayvree Spence of Upton, Wyoming, numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Curtis was preceded in death by his paternal great grandfather and great grandmother, Frank and Shandon Kleinshmidt, maternal great grandmother Marie Barnett, maternal grandfather Benjamin Benson and 1 cousin, Blake Brunton.
Curtis will be missed by all and the memories he left us will be cherished.
A memorial has been established for his son Landon.

Connie Marleen Nannemann

Memorial Services for Connie Marleen Nannemann, 56, will be held on Thursday, September 29, at 10:00am at St Matthews Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt Pisgah cemetery. Fr. Jim Heiser will officiate.
Mrs. Nannemann died on September 25, at her home in Gillette after a long battle with cancer. She was born on August 8, 1949 in Oklahoma City, OK to Marion E. and Evelyn C. (Gragg) Greenwood. While growing up she lived and attended schools in TX, NE, and WY, attending Campbell County High School in 1966 and graduating from Johnson county High School in Buffalo, WY in 1967. In June 1967, she married Merle A. Nannemann. After their marriage, they made their home in Gillette until 1969, at which time they moved to the Denver, CO area. In 1975 the family along with their two small sons, returned to Gillette, where she remained a stay at home mom until both boys were in school. After that time she worked at the Campbell County Clerk’s Office between 1980 and 1987. Following that , She worked for Richard K. Gale, D.D.S., First National Bank, Bill C Suedkamp ,D.M.D. and David V. Veronesi, D.M.D. She worked for Pronghorn Family Dentistry for Dawn Fischer, D.D..S. and Larry McGarvin, D.D.S. from 1999 until ill health forced her to quit working gin 2004.
Connie was a member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church. She always enjoyed being a spectator at her husband’s and sons’ sporting events and also enjoyed family gatherings. Motorcycling was an important part of her life, especially when she began riding her own motorcycle five years ago. She and her husband took many motorcycle trips to places such as Glacier National Park, Yellowstone National Park, NM and AZ. Her favorite of all trips was one they took along with son, Chad, in 2002 to the east coast of Maine and home through southern Canada. On the 5800 mile trip they were able to visit many friends, making many memories and see much of the beauty of God’s creation. Connie asked that any one who would like to ride their bikes to the service, please do so.
Connie is survived by her husband, Merle of Gillette; two sons, Chad of Gillette and Chris of Gansevoort, NY; grandson, Chandler of Gansevoort, NY; mother, Evelyn Greenwood of Gillette; sister, Kay Terry of Pueblo, CO and brother, Mike Greenwood of Kimball, NE.
Memorials may be made to the Red Cross Disaster Fund and can be sent c/o Stevenson Wilson Funeral Home.

Milo Dean Richards

MILO DEAN RICHARDS, 72, a 16-year resident of Sierra Vista, passed away Friday, May 27, 2005 at his home.
Milo was born October 25, 1932 in Sheridan, Wyoming to Elmer and Edna Richards. Milo became the man he was because of where and how he grew up. Growing up in a small town setting and having to work at the ranch at such a young age, gave Milo the independence and know-how to succeed in life. He was a star basketball player in Sheridan, Wyoming before joining the U.S. Navy and being stationed in San Diego, California where he met the love of his life, Doris. Once out of the Navy, Milo and Doris moved out of the big city and back to Montana where they lived for the next 24 years, during which time Milo worked at various occupations from a gas station owner to a bowling alley manager and finally ending up as part owner of McDonald’s Restaurants. After leaving Montana, Milo opened up his own McDonald’s Restaurant in Gillette, Wyoming with Doris. There they lived for the next 10 years before moving to Sierra Vista, Arizona and purchasing two McDonald’s Restaurants. Milo retired from McDonald’s after being a part of the company for 28 years. Golfing and woodworking filled Milo’s time during his retirement. Milo was a great husband, father and grandfather who always had a story to tell and we will miss hearing them very much.
Milo was preceded in death by his sister, Erlys Bartles.
Milo is survived by his living wife of 52 years, Doris Richards of Sierra Vista; children: Patrick (LeAnn) Richards of Sierra Vista, Arizona, David Richards of Great Falls, Montana, Paul (Lori) Richards of Wilmington, Delaware and Connie (Brad) Lawson of Tucson, Arizona; grandchildren: Brant, Tashina and Kelsey Richards, Lindsey, Doug, Lane and Taylor Lawson and Nicolas Richards and great-grandson, Tanner.
A time of visitation will be held Monday, May 30, 2005 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. with a short funeral service beginning at 6:00 P.M. at Hatfield Funeral Home, 830 S. Hwy 92. A funeral service will also be held Friday, June 3, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at Mt. Pisgah cemetery in Gillette, Wyoming.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Milo’s memory to the Ronald McDonald House Charities, 2230 E. Speedway, Tucson, AZ 85719, (520) 326-0060, or on their web-site at www.rmhctucson.org.

Kenny Pirman

Funeral services for Kenny Pirman of Gillette, Wyoming will be at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 28, 2004 at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Marty Crump of the Family Life Church officiating. Burial will follow at Gillette's Mt. Pisgah cemetery. Full Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion Post #42. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. on Monday, September 27, 2004 at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.
Kenneth “Kenny” Pirman, age 55, died on Friday, September 24, 2004 at the Campbell County Memorial Hospital of lung cancer.
Kenneth John Pirman was born August 20, 1949, the son of John Harold and Mary Ellen (Reich) Pirman in Cleveland, Ohio. At an early age he attended school in Ohio. Later he attended Coronado High School in Scottsdale, Arizona. In 1967 he enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving his time in Korea. After his honorable discharge in 1970, he returned to Arizona and worked a variety of different jobs.In the 1970's, Kenny moved to the Gillette area and worked as a roughneck in the oilfields for Exeter, Apollo and Cyclone Drilling. In later years he worked as a truck driver for Sun Cementing, Jim's Water Service and Nelson Brothers.In 1981, he married his best friend, Paula Stanley, in Gillette.This union was blessed by the birth of two sons, Joshua John on August 6, 1982 and Benjamin Robert on July 19, 1984. Kenny continued working until September of 2001 when after undergoing surgery the following month he was forced to retire due to health reasons. Although he was not employed, he found many things to occupy his time. He liked to visit, keeping close track of family and friends. He was a proud member of the Flying J Coffee Club. He loved to gamble, taking several trips to Deadwood, South Dakota including his 55th birthday with friends and family. He could often be seen about town enjoying a few of his favorite pastimes; cruising in his truck, talking on his cell phone and listening to his police scanner, sometimes enjoying all three at the same time. He was a scanner addict and an avid police car siren chaser. Kenny was an amazing person. He was not one to solicit sorrow or wallow in self pity. He had a resilient spirit, an optimistic outlook on life, a kind nature and a wild and crazy foo-man-choo beard with a personality of its own. Kenny,you and your beard will be greatly missed.
Mr. Pirman is survived by his father John and step-mother Grace of Scottsdale, Arizona;one son Josh Pirman and girlfriend Jess Snyder of Gillette ;four sisters: Joan McCollough, Barbara Blake, Janet Navarro and Janice Navarro all of Scottsdale, Arizona; special friend and long time companion Cindy Reynolds and family; in-laws Dave and Sherry (Stanley) Castelli, Bob and Ruth (Stanley) Ransom, Charlie and Chris Byers, Chris and J.J. Wood and family and numerous other family and friends.
He was proceeded in death by his mother, wife Paula in 1997 and son Ben in 2003.
A memorial has been established in Kenny's name to be designated at a later date.
Donations may be sent in care of the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home at 210 W. 5th St. Gillette, Wyoming 82716.

Mark Haratyk

Memorial services for Mark Haratyk will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 6, 2004, at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Gillette, Wyoming with celebrant Kenna Lou Rose officiating.Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, November 4, 2004 at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home in Gillette.
Mark Haratyk, age 25, of Gillette, Wyoming, died November 1, 2004, in Wright, Wyoming of work related injuries.
Mark Allan Haratyk was born April 29, 1979, the son of John and Edith (Haggerty) Haratyk in Riverton, Wyoming. Mark was raised and educated in Boise, Idaho and graduating from the Shoshoni High School. Mark attended high school in Shoshoni, Wyoming for four years.
Mark had a magnetic personality; he was a very caring and affectionate young man, who was loved by everyone he met, even if it was only once. He had great love and affection for little kids, especially his little “IZ,” who was the light of his life.Mark was interested in all aspects of life. He loved movies, Volkswagen cars, legos, soccer, martial arts, cooking and camping. Mark had a great love for music. As a young boy, he sang before he talked. In Boise, Idaho, he was a member of the Kiwanis Boys Choir. While in high school, Mark started playing the bass guitar. He was a member of the National Honor Society Fellowship of Christian Athletics, and Target. He was active in basketball, track and football. Mark’s 4x100 relay team set Wyoming state records.
Mark worked for the U.S. Bank in Riverton, Wyoming; Campaigned for Bill Sniffin; Fremont County, where he was a Computer Technician; RetaLix in Boise, Idaho; Kmart in Riverton, Wyoming; Central Wyoming College Housing Department & Information; Technologies Department; Samulson’s Painting and Viking Explosives until present.
Mark is survived by his mother and stepfather, Edith and Butch Pryor of Mt. Vernon, Texas; his father, John Haratyk of Boise, Idaho; his father and mother-in-law, Mike and Terri Weber of Wright, Wyoming; his grandfather, Ivan Haggerty of Riverton, Wyoming; his wife, Nichole Haratyk; his daughter, Ayslyn Haratyk, both of Gillette, Wyoming; his brother, Kyle and wife, Tania Haratyk of Lander, Wyoming; his sister, Tanya and husband George Peters of Okinawa, Japan; his brother-in-law, Patrick Weber of Gillette, Wyoming; his step sister, and Elaine Pryor of Mt. Vernon, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Mike Haratyk and grandmothers: Mary Haratyk and Gerry Haggerty.
