Burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Survivors: wife, Lucille H. Toliver of Birmingham; daughters, Mahala E. Taylor of Birmingham and Roberta T. Maxey of Birmingham; sons, Richard E. Toliver of Birmingham, Amos C. Toliver, Rodderick N. Toliver both of Detroit, Mich., Herbert J. Toliver, Herbert J. Toliver, Phillip J. Toliver both of Birmingham; and a host of grandchildren and other relatives. Grey Memorial Funeral Home directing.

Hagood, Carl Leonce, Sr., age 79, of Pin son, died March 30, 1999. He was a merchant of General Store in Pinson for 30 years, a Veteran of WWII, Mason for over 50 years, attended Howard College. He was preceded in death by parents, Mr & Mrs. J.D. Hagood Sr. Survivors are; wife, Margaret Adair Hagood; son, Carl L. Hagood of Pinson; daughters, Linda Hagood Henley of Pinson, Donna Hagood of Homewood; grandchildren, Wayne Adair Tolleson of Pinson, Adam Wade Hagood of Pinson, Sharon Elaine Middleton of Fayetteville, Tn., Mark Austin Tolleson of Key West, Fla., Kevin Lynn Hagood of Huntsville; brother, Horace M. Hagood, James D. Hagood Jr. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 2, 1999, 2pm at Hopewell South Baptist with burial in adjoining cemetery. Bro. Phillip Jones officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, April 1 from 5-8pm. Ridout's Roebuck Chapel directing.

Payne, George W., Jr., 88, of Birmingham, died March 30, 1999. He was a member of East Lake United Methodist Church, Lion's Club, Building Committee at East Lake United Methodist Church. Survivors: daughter, Marilyn P. Reeder, Birmingham; two grandchildren, Keri Leis of Blairsville, Ga., and James Reeder of St. Petersburg, Fla.; sister, Lucy Haley; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday, April 2, 11 AM, at Ridout's Roebuck Chapel with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, 5:30-8:0 0 PM. Ridout's Roebuck Chapel directing.

Scurlock, Lena. age 71, of West Blocton, died Tuesday, March 30, 1999. Funeral services will be April 3, 11:00 AM, at Shady Grove Baptist Church, County Road 12, Greenpond, AL. The Rev. Houston Belcher officiating. Burial in Shady Grove Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be April 2, 6-8 PM, at Rockco Funeral Home. Ms. Scurlock was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. Survivors: her husband of 5 0 years, Elmer Scurlock, West Blocton; sons, Reece J. Scurlock and David Scurlock, both of West Blocton; sister, June Patton, Belle Glade, Fla.; grandchildren, Kevin Scurlock. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shirley Boatwright. Crew, Mrs. Carrie Mae, age 101, of Birmingham, passed away March 31, 1999. She was a life long member of the East Lake Methodist Church. Mrs. Crew was a past President of the Alabama Licensed Practical Nurses Association and served as Chairwoman of many commit tees of the National Association of Nursing Education. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Mr. Elisha D. Crew; and her two sons, Erskine and Hamilton Crew. Survivors include: siste r, Mrs. Richard E. Tyler of Mountain Brook, Ala.; and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 1, between 5:30 and 8:00 P.M. at Elmwood Chapel. A graveside service will be Friday, April 2, at 10:00 A.M., at Elmwood Cemetery with Elmwood Chapel directing.

Bishop, Mrs. Grace J., age 87, of Cullman County, died Tuesday, March 30, 1999. She was a member of Covenant Life Church of Pelham in Shelby County for many years. She was also a Hair Dresser. Survivors: husband, Quin W. Bishop; son, Rev. Jerry Bishop and wife, Mary K., of Cullman County; four grandchildren, Richard C. Bishop, Jr., Markus Quin Bishop, Sheri Lynn Keith, and Aimee Alise Cole; eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 2, 3:30 PM, at Southern Heritage Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Bishop officiating. Burial in Southern Heritage Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, 5:30-8:00 PM. Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home directing.

Dickenson, Eulah M., 88, of Bessemer, died March 30, 1999. She was a longtime member of Eastern Valley Baptist Church. She was always very active in community and social activities throughout her life. Graveside services will be Friday, April 2, 1999, 1:00 PM, at Valhalla Cemetery with the Rev. Virgil Mulkins officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, April 1, 6-8 PM. Survivors: daughter, Candace Holliman and her husband, John, of Birmingham; three grandchildren, Karen Nicholson, Jay and Christy Holliman. Valhalla Funeral Home, Midfield, directing.

Turman, Annie Lou Stewart, loving mother, grandmother, sister and precious friend, died Wednesday, March 31, 1999, at the age of 62. She was born in Birmingham, where she lived all her life and graduated from Ensley High School. She was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church and a long time employee of Buco Building Constructors, formerly Butler Construction. She is survived by two daughters, Terri Turman Cleveland and husband, Frank, Lori Turman Walker and husband, Bo; four granddaughters, Joanna Cleveland, Lindsey Cleveland, Emily Walker and Allyson Walker; sister, Judy Marchman and her husband, David; mother-in-law, Maxine Turman; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.C. Turman; her father, Robert L. Stewart; and, her mother, Lola Tharpe Stewart. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 2, 2:00 PM, at Roebuck Chapel with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 1, at Roebuck Chapel from 5:30-8:00 PM. Service will be conducted by Rev. J. Howard Marks and Rev. Edwin P. Grice. Ridout's Roebuck Chapel directing.

Bradley, Margie Simpson, age 87, of Trussville, died March 31, 1999. Member of Bethel Baptist Church. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00-9:00. Chapel service will be Friday, April 2, at 11:00 A.M. Officiating ministers are Rev. Chris Burns and Rev. Dewey Bradley. Burial in Branchville Cemetery. Survivors: daughter, Mary Ann Womack (J.L.) of Trussville; grandchildren, Julia Womack McCombs (Gary) of Odenville, Melissa Womack Bryant (Donnie) of Odenville; four great-grandchildren, Katie McCombs, Kelley McCombs, Daniel Bryant, and Shelby Bryant all of Odenville. Robinson, Mr. Floyd Charles, Jr., age 48, of Odenville, died March 31, 1999. He was a member of Pineview Baptist Church. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:30-8:00 P.M. Graveside at Sulphur Springs Cemetery will be held Friday, April 2, 1999 at 3:00 P.M. Rev. Herbert Parker officiating. Survivors: wife, Jacquelyn Robinson of Odenville; sons, Floyd Charles Robinson and Patrick Delpino; step-son, Alan Lindsay; daughters, Tina Montanino and Tammy Robinson; step-daughter, Amanda Allen; brother, Robert Feller; sisters, Helen Feller, Betty Feller, and Diane O'Leary. Cook, Thomas H., age 89, of Birmingham, died March 27, 19 99. He was retired and was a U. S. Army Veteran. Funeral ser vice at Southside C.M.E. Church will be held Friday, April 2, 1999 at 12:00 Noon with burial in Elmwood. Survivors: wife, Mrs. Gertha Cook; a host of nieces and nephews. Bushelon Funeral Home is directing.

Labon, Mrs. Ollie S., age 73, of Birmingham, died Mon day, March 29, 1999. Member of Macedonia 17th Street Baptist Church. Funeral service from the church will be held Friday, April 2nd at 12:00 Noon with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Survivors: daughter, Mrs. Edith Rowland; sons, Nathaniel Sharpe and Raymond Labon; 16 grandchildren. Arrington Funeral Home directing.

Hood, Lois M., age 84, of Odenville, Alabama, died April 1, 1999. Member of Huffman Freewill Baptist Church. Visitation: Saturday from 12:00-3:00 P.M. Chapel service Saturday, April 3, at 3:00 P.M. Burial in Jefferson Memorial Gar dens East. Survivors: daughter, Peggy H. Tucker of Birmingham, Ala., and Dorothy H. Brasher of Odenville, Ala.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Henderson, Jewel M., age 76, of Trussville, died December 30, 1998. She was a member of Chalkville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Henderson. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 2, at Noon at Jefferson Memorial Trussville Chapel with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
