PIGGOTT -- Michael Shane Vaughn, 30, of Piggott died Monday, Oct. 11, at his residence.
He was born in Piggott.
Survivors include his father, Gerald Vaughn of Batesville; his mother, Rita Ward of Piggott; one stepbrother, Robby Ward of Jackson, Mo.; three stepsisters, Tanoca Deen of Campbell, Mo., Millie Reed of Ballwin, Mo., and Kim White of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; paternal grandparents, Jack and Charlotte Vaughn of Piggott; maternal grandmother, Loreta Owen of Paragould; and great-grandparents, Otho and Margaret Bradberry of Piggott.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, L.H. Owen.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home chapel, with Kevin Murray officiating. Burial will follow in Mitchell Cemetery
at Greenway.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.

WALNUT RIDGE -- Norman Wheelis, 65, of Walnut Ridge died Tuesday, Oct. 12, in Walnut Ridge.
Arrangements will be announced by House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge.

PIGGOTT -- Mary Lourine White, 87, of Piggott died Tuesday, Oct. 12, at Piggott Community Hospital.
Born in Puxico, Mo., she had taught piano for more than 70 years and had been a teacher at schools in Peoria, Ill., Puxico, Illmo and Campbell in Missouri and Carryville and Monticello.
Survivors include a son, Dr. Stephen Edward White of Piggott; three grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth White of Cle Elum, Wash., Laura Catherine Crone of Little Rock and Zachary Hunter White of Piggott; and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Charles White, and her parents.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at First Presbyterian Church in Piggott, with Wilma Hoover officiating. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. in Puxico Cemetery. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home in Piggott is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. today at the funeral home.

HARDY -- Maude Shaver White, 87, of Hardy died Tuesday, Oct. 12, in Newport Beach, Calif.
Arrangements will be announced by Tri-County's Cherokee Chapel in Highland.
Williamson
MOUNTAIN HOME -- Bonnie Williamson, 94, of Mountain Home, formerly of Grubbs, died Sunday, Oct. 10, at Good Samaritan Village in Mountain Home.
Born in Aquone, N.C., she was a homemaker and a member of Grubbs First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Emma Miller of Mountain Home; three grandchildren, Gary Pigg of Newport, Debbie Miller Holth of Mountain Home and Ross Miller of Duluth, Ga.; 10 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Williamson; one daughter, Patsy Pigg; her parents; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Grubbs First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Ballews Chapel Cemetery
at Grubbs under the direction of Dillinger Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers will include Bill Ivy, Gene Ivy, Eric Holth, Michael Holth, Gary Pigg and Chandler Pigg.
Honorary pallbearers will include H.M. Williamson, Dr. Maxwell Chaney and members of the deacon board of Grubbs First Baptist Church.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Barringer
WILLIFORD -- Henry D. Barringer, 69, of Williford, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, at St. Bernard's Medical Center.
A retired custodial worker for a number of school districts in the Aurora, Ill., area, he was a Mason and a member of the Caraway Masonic Lodge for 46 years and the Sunbeam Lodge in Plano, Ill.
He was of the Church of Christ belief.
Survivors include three sons, Dale Barringer and Darrin Barringer, both of Yorkville, Ill., and Dallas Barringer of Sheridan, Ill.; one daughter, Pamela Niles of Sheridan; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Gregg Funeral Home in Monette, with Tim Bassing officiating. Burial will follow in Caraway Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Beaty
BONO -- Lee "Buster" Beaty, 90, of Bono died Thursday, Oct. 14, at NEA Medical Center.
Arrangements will be announced by Langford-Bookout Funeral Home.
Brimhall
Thomas Harold Brimhall, 62, of Jonesboro died Wednesday, Oct. 13, at St. Bernard's Medical Center.
Born in Milan, Tenn., he was a longtime Forrest City resident before moving to Jonesboro 12 years ago. A retired Marine veteran who served during the Vietnam War and the Cuban Missile Crisis, he had worked as a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Myra Brimhall of the home; one stepson, Michael Jackson of Jonesboro; one brother, William Brimhall of Forrest City; three sisters, Lee Brimhall of Calico Rock, Darline Goins of Forrest City and Diane Brimhall of McAllen, Texas; and one grandson, Matthew Ryan Jacobs of Jonesboro.
He was preceded in death by a son, Paul Brimhall; a stepson, Franklin Thomas; and his parents.
The body will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Howard Funeral Service of Leachville is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers have been named for the funeral for Thelma Carter, 92, of Jonesboro, scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Langford-Bookout Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers will include Kenny Flemon, Dewayne Wileman, Leland Wileman, Robert Hartgraves and John Frank.
Honorary pallbearers will include the men of Friendship Assembly of God.

Cater
Wanda Lee Cater, 65, of Jacksonville, formerly of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, in Jacksonville.
Born at Lake City, she was a retired employee of the Jonesboro Human Development Center and had lived in Jonesboro most of her life, recently moving to Jacksonville. She was a member of Rockhill Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Johnny Cater of Jonesboro; one son, Jerry Cater of Jonesboro; two daughters, Kathy Barber and Rhonda Morgan, both of Jonesboro; one sister, Lula McClure of Jacksonville; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Robin Lemons; her parents, Homer and Sarah Seay; two brothers; one sister; and a grandson.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Pine Log Cemetery
near Brookland under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Ray Broadaway will officiate.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
