Kadel, William, William Kadel, the well-known butcher of this city, died very suddenly at his residence on East Fourteenth street late yesterday afternoon. He was on the streets Tuesday in good health and spirits and was taken sick yesterday morning, caused by the heat, from which he grew worse and died in a short time after taking his bed. He was born and raised in this city and leaves a wife and family to mourn his death.

Kahn, Harry, Harry Kahn, aged 42, died after a few days' illness of pneumonia, at his residence, 223 West Fourth street, North Little Rock, at 7:40 a.m. yesterday. He was born at Austin, Miss., and came to North Little Rock from Memphis 14 years ago. Recently he had been connected with the firm of M. Levy & Co. He is survived by his wife, daughter of the late M. Levy; by a young daughter Fanny Belle; by his father, Henry Kahn and three brothers, Joseph, Ike and Morris, all of Memphis. Mr. Kahn was well known in business and fraternal circles in North Little Rock. He was a life member of Argenta Lodge 1004 B.P.O.E. and a Past President of No. 800 F.O.E.

Funeral services will be held at the residence at 9:45 tomorrow morning, conducted by Rabbi Louis Witt, and later at the Jewish Chapel in the Jewish cemetery, where the body will be interred.

Kane, William, William Kane, aged 65, died at a local hospital at 8 yesterday morning. He is survived by his wife, of Bisbee, Ariz., who is expected Saturday morning. Funeral arrangements will not be made until her arrival. The body is at the Healey & Roth parlors.

Funeral services for William Kane, who died here Wednesday, will be held from the Healey & Roth chapel this afternoon at 4 o'clock. Mrs. Kane arrived yesterday from Bisbee, Ariz, but two brothers, who survived, Charles and Fred Kane of New York city, will be unable to come. Forrest Camp No. 5, W.O.W. and the Fraternal Aid Union, of which Mr. Kane was a member, will attend in a body. The pallbearers will be: Fred A. Garrett, J.A.Jungkind, William Schmand, M.E. Akin, R.K. Wilson, O.C. Stahl. Interment will be in Oakland cemetery.

Karcher, Mary, Mrs. Mary Karcher, aged 82, died at the residence of her son, A. Karcher 503 East Seventh street at 6 o'clock last night. Mrs. Karcher was born in Germany, but had been a resident of Little Rock since 1885. She came to America in 1858 and lived first at Cincinatti, O, Where she was married in 1859 to Fred Karcher, who died in 1882.

Mrs. Karcher is survived by one son, A. Karcher; eight grand children. Mrs. Mildred Pattison, Miss Klare, Raymond, Milton and Geraldine Karcher of Little Rock; Mrs. Charles B. Hesse, Miss Mamie Rueve and Miss Nora Rueve of St. Louis, and one great grandson; two brothers, William Wesche of Memphis and August Wesche of Cincinnati, and one nephew, W. F. Wesche of Memphis.

She was a member of the Lutheran church of the Ladies Aid of the church. Funeral services will be held tomorrow, the arrangements to be announced later.

Karnes, John, Van Buren, June 18 - The body of John Karnes, aged 57, city marshal of Mountainburg, who disappeared June 5, was found late yesterday between two rocks on a hillside above Frog Bayou. Beside the body lay a partily empty bottle of carbolic acid. The body was somewhat decomposed, and appeared to have been mutilated.

It is believed that Karnes killed himself. The morning he disappeared he said to Dick Satterfield, with whom he made his home, "Dick, my health is poor, I believe I would be better off dead."

(Lula L.), Mrs. Lula L. Karston, aged 61, died yesterday at Magnolia, Miss, according to word received here. She was the wife of M. E. Karston, and for several years a resident of North Little Rock. She is survived by her husband, a son, C. D. Karston of Magnolia, and three daughters, Mrs. J. W. Nunnery and Miss Olivie Karston of Magnolia, and Mrs. Royce Bennett of Fayetteville. Burial will be at West Point, Miss.

Kasten, Leona, Mrs. Leona Kasten, aged 86, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joe Gerard. 1224 Barber avenue, at 11:30 o'clock yesterday morning. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Gerard; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at St. Edward's church. Ninth and Sherman streets, at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning, in charge of the Rev Father Maurus. Burial will be in Calvery cemetery.

Katzenellenbogen, Emil, Rabbi and Mrs. S. Katzenellenbogen, 318 Sherman street, received new yesterday of the death of their son, Emil Katzenellenbogen, aged 21, at Denver Colo., at 1:30 yesterday afternoon. The young man had been at Denver for about a year for his health. He is survived by his parents, two brothers, Morris, of Shreveport, La., and Sam, of Little Rock, and one sister, Mrs. S.B. Fiegel, of Little Rock. Funeral and burial will be at Denver this afternoon.

Kaufman, Abraham, Abraham Kaufman, aged 68, retired merchant, died last night at the family residence, 2000 Rock street. He was a native of Alsace-Lorraine, but lived in this country 50 years. He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Misses Eugenie and Brunie Kaufman and Mrs. L L Dickinson of Booneville, and two sons, F C (Dick) and Marcus. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. John Kelley Martin, and one brother, G. O. Keley, both of Oklahoma City, and by one sister, Mrs. W. W. Richey of Little Rock. Funeral services will be held at 4 this afternoon at Benton cemetery in charge of the American Legion.

Kelly, F.E., F.E. Kelly, 54 years old, conductor on the White River division of the St. Louis, Iron Mountain and Southern railroad, died at 6:30 last night at a local hospital. He is survived by his wife, one son, M.E. Kelly of Cotter; three daughters, Mrs. C.H. Thompson and Miss Ruth Kelly of Cotter and Mrs. V.V. Robinson of Batesville; his mother, Mrs. E. F. Kelly, and one sister, Miss Luella Kelly of Stanberry, Mo., Mr. Kelly was a member of the White River division of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen. The body will be sent to Stanberry by P.H. Ruebel & Co. today for burial.

E. M., Conway, Dec. 31 - The Rev. E. M. Kelsey, aged 41, member of the North Arkansas Conference, M. E. Church South, and pastor of the church at Elaine, died almost instantly from heart disease at the office of his brother-in-law, W. A. Russell, in the Halter building, at noon today. Mr. Kelsey apparently was in good health, although he had complained for a few days of cold. He and Mr. Russell had just entered the office, and he was seated in a chair when he suddenly fell forward. Dr. I. N. McCollum, in an adjoining office, was summoned, but Mr. Kelsey died a few moments after the physician reached him.

The Rev. Mr. Kelsey was a son of the late J. R. Kelsey, a pioneer of this county. He was born on the Kelsey homestead, seven miles east of Conway, September 2, 1880. He was educated in local schools and Hendrix College. When 17 he decided to enter the Methodist ministry. At the conference at Fort Smith last month he was assigned to the pastorate of the Elaine church.

He is survived by his wife, who was Miss Josie Metzger, and two daughters, Marie, aged 17, and Dona, aged 13; four sisters, Mrs. J. R. Holmes, eight miles east of Conway; Mrs. W. A. Russell and Misses Lula and Ola Kelsey of Conway.

Kelsey, Mabel, Mrs. Mabel Kelsey, aged 21, wife of Lieut. L.R. Kelsey of the Iowa Artillery, stationed at Fort Roots, died at a local hospital Thursday morning. Two children and her husband survive. The body was sent at 7:35 o'clock last night to Clinton, Iowa for burial. A detail from the battalion of which her husband is member accompanied the cortege to the station.

Kelso, Felix A., Magnolia, Jan 11- Felix A. Kelso, aged 65, who was reared in Magnolia, but who has been a druggist in Chandler, Okla. for 35 years, died at Chandler Friday morning. The body is expected here Sunday and will be taken to the home of his sister, Mrs. Kate Turner, where funeral services will be held. He was the son of the late "Uncle Jack" Kelso, who was a former member of the Arkansas legislature from Columbia county. He is survived by one brother, Major Jack Kelso of the United States Army, now retired and living at Los Angeles, Cal; two sisters, Mrs. Kate Turner and Mrs. H. P. Carrington, both of Magnolia.

Kennedy, Daniel E., Daniel E. Kennedy, aged 76, died at the family residence 1908 Cumberland street at 2:10 o'clock yesterday morning after a brief illness. He was born in Liverpool, England February 14, 1841, and came to this country in 1849. He was the son of the late Henry F. and Sarah Morgan Kennedy. he served during the Civil war with Company K, Ninth Iowa Cavalry. Mr. Kennedy was associated with the Waters-Pierce Oil Corporation for 30 years until he retired in 1907.

He is survived by three sons; Joe, Walter and Dewey; five daughters, Mrs. W.D. Stetler, Pleasant Lake, Ind.; Mrs. Dwight Bearden, Mrs. Harry W. Elliott, Mrs. Charles C. Cunningham and Miss Maggie Kennedy, all of Little Rock. Funeral services will be held at the residence in charge of the Rev. Father Wernke, at 3:30 o'clock this afternoon. Services at the grave will be in charge of Far West Lodge No. 1 I.O.O.F., of which he was a member. Burial will be in the National cemetery. Pallbearers will be: J.L. Bishop, Peter D. English, M.F. Harding, W.G. younts, Frank Martin, Arthur Counts, W.S. Groves and Walter Smith.

Kennedy, Florence, Mrs. Florence Kennedy, aged 70, died at 9:35 last night at the residence of her son, E.G. Lewis, 3202 West Capitol avenue. Mrs. Kennedy was born in Washington county, Maryland, and has been a resident of Arkansas since 1860. Her son is her only survivor. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 this afternoon at the residence, after which the body will be sent to Healey & Roth to Des Arc for burial.

George, Texarkana, May 5 - Mrs. George Kesterson died yesterday at Carbondale Miss, where she was on a visit to relatives. Her death was sudden. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Preston; her husband one sister and one brother, all residents of Texarkana. The body arrived here to night, and the funeral will take place tomorrow.

Mr. King was born in Arkansas and Moved to Texas in 1883. He was a son of the late Capt. J.M. King, who served in the Civil war and who was the first Democratic sheriff of Lonoke county. He is survived by his wife, five children, Kellem, Lester, Jett and Grace King of Roxton, and Fred King of Wolfe City, Tex., and three sisters and one brother.

Kirby, J.W., Pocahontas, Feb. 21 - Mrs. J.W. Kirby, 30 years old, who lived a few miles north of Pocahontas, died at her home Monday, She was the wife of the Rev. J.W. Kirby, who, with his family had moved here from Paragould a few weeks ago.

Kirby, Joe, Peach Orchard, April 7 - Joe Kirby, a workman in a stave plant here, died as the result of injuries received while at work today.

Kirby came in contact with a saw and one of his arms was severed from his body. He fell against the saw and suffered a severe wound in the body. His death followed in about five hours. He is survived by his wife and four children.

Kirby, Joseph F., Texarkana,Oct. 14 - Mrs. Joseph F. Kirby, one of the pioneer residents of Texarkana, died at the family home on College Hill this afternoon. She was 68 years old and had been an invalid several months. She is survived by her husband, and three sons, William F. Kirby, United States senator; Dr. W.K. Kirby, Georgetown, and Joseph E. Kirby of Indianapolis. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon.

Kirchgrabber, H.H., Pine Bluff, May 10 - H.H. Kirchgrabber, aged 55 years, one of the oldest and best known conductors on the Cotton Belt railroad, died yesterday at the Cotton Belt hospital at Texarkana, where he had been under treatment for some time for paralysis. His body was sent to Mattoon, Ill. He came to Pine Bluff to begin work for the Cotton Belt railroad 31 years ago. He had a passenger run between this city and Memphis. He is survived by a son in New York city; a brother, John Kirchgrabber, time keeper for the Cotton Belt here, and a nephew, E.L. Kirchgrabber, also a Cotton Belt engineer.

Kirkpatrick, 55 years old, who died at 3:45 yesterday morning at the family residence, 3219 Marshall street, will be held at the residence at 10 this morning. The Rev. J.D. Baker will officiate. Burial will be at Oakland cemetery. Mr. Kirkpatrick is a native of Arkansas. He is survived by his wife, two sons, W.W. and Walter Kirkpatrick, and five daughters, Misses Muriel, Helen, Beatrice and Marie of Little Rock, and Mrs. Lela Eddie of Bradford. Mr. Kirkpatrick was a member of Forrest Camp No. 5, W.O.W., and also an honorary member of the local Carpenters; Union.

Surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John B Kirkpatrick, living on the Nineteenth street pike, about six miles from Little Rock, one sister and four brothers. Funeral services will be conducted this morning at 10 from the family residence. The body will be taken by Healey & Roth to Bentonfor burial.

J.C., Monticello, April 17 - Judge J.C. Knox, one of the oldest and best Known lawyers of Drew county, died here today of pneumonia. He is survived by his son, Judge Robert C. Knox, who was recently appointed county judge of Drew County by the governor; a brother, George Knox, who is in the German National Bank at Little Rock; and a daughter, Miss Virginia Knox, stenographer in Governor Brough's office.

Koldfield, Henry, Yesterday morning at 11 o'clock, a man named Henry Koldfield, who lives in a little carpenter shop back of the White House saloon, on lower Markham street, died from exposure and asthma. At 10 o'clock on the night before, Koldfield was discovered lying near his door, in an uncouscious condition. He was taken into the saloon, a physician was summoned, and every effort made to aid his recovery, but age - for he was fifty years old - had weakened his constitution, and after lingering till the next morning, death came and relieved him. The county had him buried in potter's field, and the carpenter shop was vacated of its lonely tenant. Koldfield had no relatives, and was known by very few persons.

Koon, Picken, Sheridan, May 3 - Picken Koon, son of J.D.Koon, died here today. Mr. Koon had been in very feeble health and the end was not unexpected. He was buried this afternoon in the Sheridan cemetery.

He leaves a wife and three children, beside a father and mother and five brothers. Two of his brothers live at Kearney.

Kramer, August, Van Buren, Feb. 15 - August Kramer, aged 65, died at his home near Meadows this morning. The body was brought to Van Buren, and the funeral services will be held from the home of C.R. Cordell, at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning. Mr. Kramer was a native of Daden, Germany, and was a pioneer shoe merchant.

Kremer, George, Corning, April 29 - George Kremer, aged 50, was almost instantly killed in a lumber camp near here Friday, while seated at dinner. A large tree which was felled by woodsmen crashed down upon him, crushing his body.

She came here three years ago with her husband, Martin Krotke, who survives, from Fort Wayne, Ind., and located on a farm near the city. She is also survived by three sons, Charles and Paul of Fort Wayne and F.W. of this city. One daughter, Mrs. Annie Notdall, lives here.

Frederika, Berryville, Jan 10- Mrs. Frederika Kruger, aged 83, who lived in the Cove community near Berryville for several years, died recently in the Old Peoples Home at Bentonville, Ill. Mrs. Kruger is a native of Germany, but came to the United States more than 50 years ago. She and her husband, the late William Kruger, lived near Berryville for some 15 years and about three years ago, at his death, she moved to Chicago to live with relatives.
