Patricia G. Vaughan

Patricia G. Vaughan, 76, of Fayetteville, Arkansas passed away Friday, December 5, 2014 at Willard Walker Hospice House.

She was born September 26, 1938 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Walter F. & Adeline L. Conradt.

She graduated in 1956 from College High School in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She then attended William Woods College where she graduated in 1958 with and Associate of Arts Degree.

She worked as a legal secretary for various attorneys in Oklahoma. She was past president of the American Business Women’s Association in Sapulpa, Oklahoma where she also owned her own secretarial service. She served on the Board of Directors for the Community Clinic at the Saint Francis House in Springdale, Arkansas for 6 years. She loved attending her Bible Study group and volunteering for mission projects with her friends from Cross Church in Springdale.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Craig Conradt.

She is survived by her daughters, Cheri Grant of Sperry, Oklahoma, Pam Hofer of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Tina Barfield of Fayetteville, Arkansas. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren.

Donald Joseph Schnurbusch

Donald Joseph Schnurbusch, 73, passed away Sunday, November 30 at his home in Bentonville, AR.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday December 6, 2014, at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Independence, KS, with Father Andrew Heiman officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery in Independence, KS, under the direction of Potts Chapel of Independence.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday December 5, 2014, at St. Andrew Catholic Church. Recitation of the Rosary will be before the visitation at 5:00 p.m., also at St. Andrew.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Catholic Relief Services at www.crs.org or Habitat for Humanity at www.habitat.org.

Don was born April 17, 1941, in Perryville, MO, to Bill and Henrietta (Trapp) Schnurbusch. Don earned his Doctorate of Education degree at Ball State University in Muncie, IN, in 1972. He taught in the science department at Independence Community College from 1972 until his retirement in 2005. From 2006 to 2010, Don lived in McKinney, TX, where he volunteered at Habitat for Humanity. In 2010, Don moved to Bentonville, AR, to be closer to his family. Don loved gardening, fishing, hunting, reading, cooking and baking, and spending time with his grandkids. Don was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Bentonville.

Don was preceded in death by his mother Henrietta Schnurbusch. He is survived by his daughter Tracy Schnurbusch of Bentonville, AR; his son Aaron Schnurbusch and wife Zoedy of Independence, KS; his son Chris Schnurbusch and wife Shawnda of Bentonville, AR; the mother of his children Linda Schnurbusch of Independence, KS; his father, William O. Schnurbusch of St. Louis, MO; his sister Patricia Vogel and husband Curt of Columbia, MO; his brother Gary Schnurbusch and wife Lora of Columbia, MO; his brother Randy Schnurbusch and wife Jackie of St. Louis, MO; his brother Brian Schnurbusch of St. Louis, MO; four grandchildren, Layne and Dylan Schnurbusch of Independence, KS, and Sydney and Logan Schnurbusch of Bentonville, AR; and many other family members and friends.

James Fred King

James Fred King, 73, of Rogers died Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville. He was born July 23, 1941 in Harrison, Arkansas the son of Frederick and Ova King.

James proudly served in the United States Navy. He enjoyed watching the Razorbacks, assisting Little League as Commissioner, woodworking, and trains. He was an avid car enthusiast and enjoyed his restored 72 Chevy Pickup.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

James is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary King of Rogers, three sons; Jim King of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Andy King and his wife Robynn of Rogers, John King of Tulsa, Oklahoma, one brother; William King and his wife Charlotte of Andover, Kansas, two sisters; Jean Travis and her husband Phil of Faytteville, Barbara Comstock and her husband Ed of Springdale, four grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends.

Graveside service will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, December 2nd at Sonora Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Disabled American Veterans Organization.

Twila M. Wright

Twila M. Wright, 79, of Rogers died Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville. She was born July 22, 1935 in Tecumseh, Kansas the daughter of Gladys and Alfred Gibbens.

She was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Rogers. Also she was a member of the Rogers Adult Wellness Center, where she ran the Bingo game for many local residents. She loved sewing and was a member of The Rogers Sewing Center Sewing Club. Her hobbies also included fishing and cooking.

She had lived in Northwest Arkansas since June 2002 after moving from Los Angeles, California. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son; Bruce Gendreau, one brother, and one sister.

Twila is survived by: her husband; Roy F. Wright, whom she married October 19, 1980, four sons; Ron Gendreau of Arizona, Brett Gendreau and his wife Julia, of Arizona, Tim Gendreau and his wife Angie, of California, Joe Gendreau, of California, one daughter; Sonja Hanson and her husband J., of Arizona, four step-children; Nancy Wright, of Kansas, Steven Wright, of Texas, Daniel Wright, of Kansas, Michael Wright, of Washington, numerous grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 29, 2014 from 10-2 at Temple Baptist Church in Rogers. The celebration of her life will begin at 2pm following the visitation. Interment will follow the service at Elm Springs Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to the Rogers Wellness Center.

Mary Maxine Frost

Mary Maxine Frost, 91, of Bentonville, Arkansas died Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at her home. She was born April 19, 1923 in Whittemore, Iowa the daughter of Lillian Edith Falb and Elmer F. Bell.

She enjoyed her family, quilting, knitting, crocheting, and reading. She had lived in the Northwest Arkansas since June 2009 after moving from Heber Springs, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her husband George Frost who passed May 4, 2014, her parents, her daughter Mary Wood, two grandsons; James Mayer and Kevin Brown, one brother; Wayne Bell, two sisters; Ruth Skalicky and Phyllis Kunze.

Mary is survived by: two daughters; Georgia Kinney and her husband Michael of Bella Vista, Debra Frost, of Pea Ridge, one brother; Dale Bell and his wife Donna, of Whittemore, Iowa, one sister; Norma Sigler, of Red Oak, Iowa, seven grandchildren; Barbara Frost, Teri Romero, Cheryl Johnson all three of California, Timothy and Daniel Brown, of Illinois, Wendy Martin and Heather Daniels, both of Pea Ridge, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be Friday, November 28, 2014 at 1:00pm. Inurnment will be at National Cemetery in Fayetteville.

Stella Droho

Stella Droho, of Gentry, Arkansas died Thursday, November 20, 2014 in Springdale at a local care center. She was born October 18, 1924 in Wierzchlas, Poland the daughter of Marianna and Bazyli Weirbicki.

She was a lifelong Catholic and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tontitown. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking, and spending quality time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband Adolf Droho Sr.; and one brother, Stanislaus Weirbicki.

Stella is survived by: three sons; Joseph Droho and his wife Judy, of Huntley, Illinois, Adolph Droho Jr., of Franklin, Tennessee, Edward Droho and his wife Tina, of Houston, Texas, two daughters; Mary Droho and her husband Edward Balluck, of Springtown, Arkansas, Teresa Holler and her husband Oliver, of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, one sister; Sophie Wilfort, of Warsaw, Poland, many nieces and nephews, five grandchildren, and one great-grandson.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Interment was at Springtown Cemetery.

Devren Eugene Saintignon

Devren Eugene Saintignon, 31, of Elkins died Wednesday, November 19, 2014 in North Dakota. He was born December 30, 1982 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to Patricia Foster and Dan Saintignon.

Devren enjoyed working as an electrician and taking his son hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his son Cayden, fiance Tiffany Latta and her daughter Alexis. His family was dear to his heart. Devren was loved and respected by many who knew him.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Presley White.

Devren is survived by his mother, Patricia Foster and her husband Bill of Bentonville, his father Dan Saintignon, one son Cayden Saintignon of Hensley, Arkansas, one brother Harrison White of Bentonville, his fiance Tiffany Latta and her daughter Alexis, and many loving friends and family members.

Visitation will be Monday, November 24 from 5:00 to 7:00 at Word of Life Fellowship in Bentonville.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, November 25 at 10:00 am at Word of Life Fellowship with burial to follow at Highfill Cemetery.
