Sandra Lee Gore

Sandra Lee Gore, 62, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, entered Heaven, Friday, December 15, 2017. She was born September 1, 1955 in Bentonville, Arkansas, the daughter of Billy Lee King and Leola Pauline Bertschy King. Sandra grew up helping on the family farm, loved school and graduated as valedictorian, class of 1973.

In December 1976, she had a blind date with the man who would become the love of her life, Jim Gore. He showed up on her doorstep in a leisure suit with a poinsettia in hand. She often recalled while laughing, that the only reason she went on a second date was because she was too nice to say no.

They wed on May 20, 1978 and soon were expecting their first child, Brandon. They again were blessed in 1981 with a baby girl, Lindsay. She devoted the next 39 years to raising her children and caring for her home and husband. Sandra treasured her husband, children, and grandchildren, making holidays and birthdays very special for all.

She loved spending time outdoors, walking, biking, and hiking. She equally enjoyed reading – often 2 or 3 novels a week. Above all else though, she loved surprises, loved to give, and was extremely generous.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Sandra is survived by: her loving husband of 39 years, Jim Gore; one son, Brandon Gore and his wife Erin of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; one daughter, Lindsay LaCaze and her husband, Dallas of Cassville, Missouri; two sisters, Cynthia Minardi and her husband Sam of Bentonville, Arkansas, and Nancy Chandler and her husband, Jimmy of Ash Flat, Arkansas; and nine grandchildren, Zoe LaCaze, Andie LaCaze, Asa LaCaze, Eden LaCaze, Isaac LaCaze, Levi LaCaze, Kaylee LaCaze, Silas LaCaze, and Leola Gore.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held January 6th, 11:00 AM, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Rogers, Arkansas.

David Stroud

David Stroud, of Westville, Oklahoma died Friday, December 15, 2017 at Willard Walker Hospice House located in Fayetteville.

He was born November 20, 1958.

He is survived by his daughter: April Smith, of Oregon.

Patsy L. Davis

Patsy L. Davis of Rogers, Arkansas went to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 13, 2017. She was born on July 7, 1939 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Willard G. Muncy and Edith O. Smith.

She had five children: Donna Hoyt of Neosho, MO; Darlene Kauffman and husband, Dennis, of Waynesville, Missouri; Barbara Farley of Gravette; Billy Davis and wife, Sharon, of Springdale; and Jimmy Davis of Siloam Springs; thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; a lifelong friend, Sue Walker of Pea Ridge; and numerous nieces and nephews, and they all called her “Mom.”

Patsy is preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, Basil Smith, one sister, and six brothers.

Patsy is survived by four sisters: Sue Eilar, Barbara Quinn, Linda Evans and Judy Murray; and one brother, Donnie Smith, all of California.

Graveside service will be: Tuesday at 10am at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with Pastor Robert Ward officiating.

Lotta D. Hollenbeck

Lotta D. Hollenbeck, 91; Passed away Dec 12, 2017 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Born November 1926 in Pforzheim, Germany and lived in Chicago and suburbs until 1987 when she retired to Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Lotta is survived by her husband of 70 years, Art, 2 daughters, 1 son, 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and her brother Richard. She lived a full and joy filled life and remains an inspiration to her family.

There will be no memorial or funeral services.

Bob Nowakowski

Bob Nowakowski, 50, of Bella Vista died Monday, December 11, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers. He was born June 9, 1967 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Kenneth and Louise Nowakowski.

He loved spending quality time with his entire family and especially time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include: his wife; Bernadette Nowakowski, his parents; Kenneth and Louise Nowakowski, seven children; Maggy, Adrian, Ryan, Lindsay, Eloise, Alex, Pandora, two siblings, and eleven grandchildren.

The celebration of Bob’s life will be Saturday, December 16th at 10am at The Bella Vista LDS Church, located at 1 Lambeth Drive, in Bella Vista.

Gerald (Jerry) Walter Reamer

Gerald (Jerry) Walter Reamer formerly of Kendall, New York joined the Lord on December 11th, 2017.

He was a veteran of the United States Navy during World War II.

Jerry married Alyce Spychalski in 1948, and they were proud parents of 3 sons.

He was a retired US Postmaster in Kendall, serving 27 years.

He proudly served the Kendall community for most of his adult life, organizing Little League Baseball, serving on the School Board of Education, and was a mainstay and proud member of the Kendall Volunteer Fire Department. He was a lifetime member of the Kendall United Methodist Church.

He leaves his sons; Steve (Jane), Mike (Mary Ellen), and Jeff (Barb) Reamer, nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased in death by his loving wife Alyce, sister, Lois DeWaele and his parents Walter and Edith Reamer.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to Arkansas State Veterans Home, 1179 North College, Fayetteville AR 72701, Kendall United Methodist Church or Kendall Fire Department.

A memorial service will be held at Oakley Chapel United Methodist Church, 203 Promenade Blvd., Rogers on Saturday December 16th, 2017 at 10:00am.

The family will also hold a celebration of life service for Jerry and Alyce in the spring of 2018 in Kendall, New York.

Barbara Ann Armstrong

Barbara Ann Armstrong, 68, of Huntsville died Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Washington Regional Medical. She was born December 19, 1948 in Peoria, Illinois the daughter of Ruby and Amos Talley.

Barbara was a unique lady with a special heart for those with special needs. All who met her knew the love she had for others by the way she cared for everyone. Barbara was involved in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great-grand children. She was a member of Inside Out Church of Fayetteville, AR. At the age of 41 she pursued her G.E.D. and continued her education at U.A.F.S. She earned an associates degree in business science. She also was a certified Para Professional touching the lives of many, she will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Ruby and Amos Talley of Waynesville, IL, her brother; Amos (Jr.) Talley from Pontiac, IL and her grandson; Billy Lowle of Fayetteville, AR.

Barbara is survived by her husband; Sidney Armstrong of Kingston, AR, 2 daughters; Tina Weeks and Sandy Burgess of Fayetteville, AR and her son; Mike Sheehan of Winslow, AR, two step-children; Shelly Armstrong of Kingston, AR and Scott Armstrong of Zypherhills, FL.

Barbara is survived by two sisters; Virginia (Ginny) Ryburn and Roma McGowen of Bloomington, IL, two brothers; William (Bil) Talley of Auburn, IL and Earl Talley of Fayetteville, AR.

Barbara is survived by 15 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and great nephews.

The family will host a celebration of Barbara's life on January 6th at noon at Inside Out Church 7500 West Wedington Dr. Fayetteville, AR.
