William Theodore Anderson was born April 1, 1921 at Sedelia, Missouri. He married Bernice Marie Adams at Sedelia, Missouri on November 23, 1940 and had resided in the Mountain Home area since moving from Arkadelphia, Arkansas in 1999. He served with the US Army during World War II and was a automobile mechanic. He entered into eternal rest on June 25, 2002 at Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 81.

Bernice Marie Anderson was born April 19, 1923 at Postal, Missouri the daughter of Marshall Admas and Nora Jeffries Adams. She married William T. Anderson at Sedelia, Missouri on November 23, 1940 and had resided in the Mountain Home area since moving from Arkadelphia, Arkansas in 1999. She was a bank teller at Mid State Bank & Trust and member of Lutheran Church in Kansas.

William T. Anderson, 75, of Bull Shoals, Arkansas died June 16, 2003 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. He was born September 29, 1927 at Chicago, Illinois to Seth and Betty Simonsen Anderson. He married Betty Einspahr in Indiana on December 6, 1952. A painter for Reliable Calumet Decorations for 25 years, he was resident of Bull Shoals since moving from Calumet City, Illinois in 1990. He was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II and a member of: Hoevel-Barnett VFW Post #1341 of Bull Shoals; the Arcadia Masonic Lodge #1138 of Lansing, Illinois; the Retired Fisherman's Club of Bull Shoals; Mountain Home Order of Eastern Star #277; Bull Shoals Fire Department Auxiliary; and past Commander of Kenneth E. Brady Post #7660 of Lansing, Illinois.
Survivors: He is survived by his wife, Betty Anderson, of the home; three sons, Roger Anderson of Warren, Ohio, Richard (Kimberly) Johnson of Peoria, Illinois, and John (Joyce) Anderson of Portage, Indiana; one daughter, Sue (Mark) Humphries of League City, Texas; one brother; Robert Anderson of Hammond, Indiana; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, two sisters, and one granddaughter.
Funeral: Memorial services will be Wednesday, June 18, 2003 at 1:30 P.M. at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home, Bull Shoals Chapel with Reverend Russell Officiating and the Hoevel-Barnett VFW Post #1341 of Bull Shoals providing 
military Honors.
Burial: Interment will be in the Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville, Indiana at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 20, 2003.

Carl E. Anderson 1905 - 2003
Carl E. Anderson was born on November 13, 1905 in Peoria, Ill. to Charles August and Lena Helena Linde Anderson. He married Lucille Denton on November 12, 1927 at Peoria and spent his career as an Executive for Amoco Oil Co. Upon his retirement in 1969 he moved to Mountain Home, where he enjoyed the lakes and many friends here. He was a finance officer with the Air Force during World War II, taking soldier's pay to the South Pacific and sleeping on the money at night. He was with Gen. Douglas MacArthur when he fulfilled his promise to return to the Philipines and he spent some time there to help with the reconstruction. He passed away on February 23, 2003 in Gassville Arkansas at the age of 97 years, 3 months, and 10 days.

Esther Ione Andrews was born December 2, 1906 at Scot County, Iowa to Joseph and Charlotte Ida Weller Blumer. She was married to Orville Elmer Andrews and was a homemaker. She was a resident of Mountain Home, AR since moving from Burbank, IL in April of 1994. She was a member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church.

Lillian Jean Applequist was born Setpember 3, 1932 at Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Edward Marema and Lillian E. Parker Marema. She married Robert C. Applequist at Aurora, Illinois on December 8, 1951 and had resided in the Mountain Home area since moving from Yorkville, Illinois in 1992. She was a former secretary/bookkeeper in a nursing home and enjoyed reading. She was an avid quilter, seamstress and liked to crochet. She was a member of Hill N Hollow Quilting Club. She died at Mountain Home, Arkansas on June 27, 2002 at the age of 69.

Anthony “Tony” P. Arkauskas, 85, of Mountain Home died Saturday, February 8, 2003 at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, MO. He was born March 21, 1917, at Chicago, IL., to Joseph and Barbara Peculis Arkauskas. He married Charlotte Krech on March 12, 1938 at Plymouth, MI.. He was a Mill Wright for Parchment Paper Company in Michigan, and a Farmer. Mr. Arkauskas was an Army veteran of WWII. Mr. Arkauskas lived in Mountain Home since November of 1987 moving from Scott, MI. He enjoyed fishing and farming. He was a member of American Legion #465 of Climax, MI., Elks Lodge #1714 BPOE of Mountain Home, and Ozark VFW Post #3246 of Mountain Home. He was of Catholic.
Survivors: He is survived by his wife Charlotte Arkauskas of Mountain Home. 2 Sister-in-laws: Dorothy Arkauskas of Mountain Home, and Marion Markus of Colon, MI.. A Very Close Cousin Russell and Barbara Weingart of Mountain Home, and a nephew and a niece.

Ronald Arnold died Monday, October 21, 2002 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. He was born March 16, 1933 at Farmington, CT to Alfred and Violet Mercer Arnold. He married Kathleen E. Shellito on April 15, 1978 at Long Beach, CA. He worked for 30 years with McDonnell Douglas in Huntington Beach, CA as an Aerospace Engineer and Data Programmer. He was a resident of Mountain Home, AR since moving from Long Beach, CA in 1994. He served in the US Air Force. He was a member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife-Kathleen Arnold, brother-Russell M. (Marge) Arnold of Unionville, CT, sister-Gladys (Charles) Fields of Ft. Myers, FL and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 1 brother-Gordon. Memorials may be made to Church Building Fund or the Charity of Choice. Arrangements are by Kirby-Boaz Funeral Directors.
Lewis Bach 1917 - 2002
Lewis R. Bach was born March 23, 1917 at Oklahoma the son of Fred Bach and Ophal Algire Bach. He married Margaret Priebe in Kansas on March 4, 1947 and had resided in the Mountain Home area since moving from California in 1989. He was a salesman for 7-up Company and served in the Army during World War II. Mr. Bach died at Gassville Nursing Home on May 28, 2002 at the age of 85 years.
Survivors: wife, Margaret Bach; stepdaughter, Marilyn Peterson of Harrison, AR; son, Steven Bach of Ione, California; stepson, Kenneth hinz of Lakeside, California; half sister, Jeannie Christiansen of Reno, California; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

She was a retired accounting technician for the U.S. Air Force. She had been a resident of Mountain Home, Arkansas since 1989, moving here from San Diego, California. She passed away November 19, 2002 at Baxter Regional Hospital in Mountain Home. She was 95 years of age.

William Badley was born December 20, 1917 at Enon, Arkansas the son of William H. Badley and Olive Ann Wilson Badley. He married Ruth Marie Nelson at Melton, Florida on December 17, 1941 and resided in the Mountain Home area since moving from Racine, Wisconsin in 1979. He was Assistant Plant Engineer for Twin Disc, Inc. for 23 years and served with the US Navy during World War II for 6 years. William Badley died at Baxter Regional Medical Center on June 26, 2002 at the age of 84 years.
