Doris Ann Leisey 1927 - 2002
Doris Ann Leisey died February 4, 2002 at Baxter Regional Medical Center at the age of 74. She was a member of the Classic Car Club, past member of the Midway Fire Department, Judge for the North Central Arkansas County Fairs, and a member of the Vesper Society at R.L.C. She was married on September 30, 1950 at Philaedlphia, Pennsylvania to her husband Harry Leisy, a housewife and a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Wanda F. Lemery June 2, 1913 - December 14, 2002
Wanda Lemery died Saturday, December 14, 2002 in Chicago formerly of Mountain Home. She was 89 years of age. Mrs. Lemery was born June 2, 1913 in Chicago, Illinois. She married Daniel J. Lemery on April 26, 1952 in Chicago. They moved to Mountain Home from Chicago in 1973 after retiring from Continental Bank as an office assistant. Mrs. Lemery was a member of St. Peter’s Church and the Council of Catholic Women.
Survived by: Survivors include one son, Alan D. Lemery and one dauther, Susan Lemery Maloney, both of Chicago, 3 Grandchildren, Samantha, Farrah and Alan II.
Preceded in Death by: Mrs. Lemery is preceded by her parents, husband, Daniel, 7 brothers and 2 sisters.
Visitation: Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 19, 2002 at Kirby - Boaz Funeral Home.
Rosary Recitation: A vigil Service will be at 7:30 P.M. on Thursday, December 19, 2002, at Kirby - Boaz Funeral Home.
Funeral: A Funeral Mass for Mrs. Lemery is scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 20, 2002 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. The Reverend James Fanrak will be celebrant.
Burial arrangements: Burial will be in Kirby’s Tucker Memorial Cemetery.

Geraldine "Gerree" Leslie March 25, 1920 - December 16, 2002
Geraldine L. "Gerree" Leslie was born March 25, 1920 at Huntington, W. Va. to Albert W. and Mamie Janney Locke. On January 12, 1945 she married Vernon Leslie in Lake City, Fl.. She managed various Bowling alleys for 40 years and retired to Mountain Home August 1996 from Wagoner, Ok. She was a World War II Navy Veteran and a Member of the Mountain Home V.F.W. post # 3246.
Survived by: Husband: Vernon Leslie of Gassville, Ar., 1 Daughter: Stephanie (Mrs. Fred) Ham of Omaha, Neb. 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildlren.

Walter Frank Lew 1910 - 2002
Walter Frank Lew of Mountain Home was born February 11, 1910 in Chicago, Ill. to Joseph and Angeline Mendygral Lew. He was a plumber and worked for the US Civil Service for 22 years. He married Victoria E. Sandusky on April 14, 1937 in Chicago, Ill. he was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a Degree in Animal Husbandry and Farming. He was a US Navy WWII veteran having served in the South Pacific on the USS Kennison. He wwas a Life Member of the American Legion, DAV, Associate member of the Vietnam Veterans of American. He was a Gold Star father. He moved to Moutnain Home in 1978 from Bonita California. He passed away on May 20,. 2002 at his residence at the age of 92 years, 3 months, and 9 days.
Survived by: Daughter - Carol Gilmore (Tom) of Tinley Park, IL., 3 Grandchildren - Scott Gilmore of Ashland City, Tn., Wendy Lavelle of Frankfort, IL, and Cynthia Egan of Marengo, IL.

He married Lorene Cantrell at Gainesville, Missouri on May 14, 1962 and had resided in the Mountain Home area since moving from Bolivar, Missouri in 1980. He was owner/operator of Top Transfer Co. for 40 years.

He married Wilma Caldwell December 21, 1940 in Russell, KS. He was in marketing and development for B.F. Goodrich for 30 years. He moved from Glen Ellyn, IL to Mountain Home in 1977. He was State President of Archeology Club, member of Fun Times and Three Rivers, and Twirlers Square Dancing. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survived by: He is survived by his wife Wilma Loomis of Mountain Home, one son John Loomis of Boynton, FL, one grandson Ian Loomis of IN, one daughter - in - law Gena Loomis, two brothers Merlin Loomis of Prescott, AZ, Wayne Loomis of Spokane, WA and several nieces and nephews.
